Ok here's one for ya guys...

So I have gotten pretty proficient with my little awareness energy ball and I can throw it to all different parts of my body at a whim and stimulate different chakras with it and whatnot.  All via NEW techniques btw.

Here's my question:  Every once in a while when i put my awareness ball out side of my body and start moving it around all the sudden it feels like it has gotten grabbed and is getting pulled away from me and I get into a tug-of-war and I always invariably lose.  After it gets pulled from me I just lay there feeling way empty and my trance meditation has completely lost its feel.

I guess the logical thing to assume based upon Bruce's theorys is that I have created a double and I am running away from my self and tug-o-waring with myself.  What bugs me is that I have never gotten any secondary shadow visuals and apparently never like to return to me... or something LOL

Sooooo anyone else have similar experiences?  If its not the boogey man grabbing my essence every chance he gets.... then how do i better transfer my full awareness and/or program myself not to run away and fight...me.  I have tried to give myself the firm intention b4 hand not to run but it doesn't seem to do any good.

peeeeeeeeez help
thankyou!

Welcome to Dreams! / Spinning in a dream???
August 13, 2002, 03:19:45
Joe, I've heard about this theory, but haven't actually tried it. My awareness would have to be really high for me to remember that in the first place. Mostly because I haven't trained myself to spin. You know what I'm sayin right? I've found that during my dreams, I either lose lucidity by getting distracted, or I lose energy.  I think if I tried the spin technique it would wake me up. Sometimes in my dreams after doing any kind of fast movement, I lose control of my body and bob around like a dead balloon. Then I wake up!    ...I'd say the best way to keep lucidity is just to have a strong intent yo do so. It may get easier with practice.

It always shocks me to see the capitalized letters "LDS". In the movie Star Trek IV, there is a scene in which Kirk is trying to explain something odd about Spock. He said that Spock lived through the 1960s and did too much LDS. Spock was considered fully explained, but suddenly Kirk was thought to be dyslexic.

Where did you get that about Mormon missionaries not being allowed near water? That is the weirdest thing I have heard. If it is true, though, I'd guess that it has to do more with staying close to home and family than with the qualities of running water.
