recently over the past 4 months I;ve been seeing ufos.

They appear as bright lights (similar to stars) and move around.. only 1 at a time. ive also seen one during daylight. which what looked like a silver sphere.

anyone else see similar things.  Doesnt mean its a craft..just a ufo =-p

read about this recently. Found it interesting.

Last night I decided to do a meditation to get in contact with one of my animal guides. I began by placing myself in a massive meadow with a forest and a lake and was surrounded by large trees and mountain ranges .

During this i asked to speak to my animal guide and up popped the head of a eagle. I asked a few questions but did not get a answer but i was happy to make this kind of contact.  I thanked the eagle and tried to get to sleep.

Each time i was about to nod off i was jolted awake by large clicks and pops..i put it down to the house floorboards going back to their original shape after a day of having the central heating on.

I turned on the tv and after a while of not hearing anything i decided to try and get to sleep and there was an odd swishing sound in my ear. It was is a radio had been left on and was just producing static but it wasnt as harsh as that. It made a sweeping movement.

I have put this down to maybe clairaudient abilities coming through maybe because I was trying to get in contact with my guides.

It was a very interesting experience.

I've been reading about negative ion generators(which can be indoor running fountains) and it has been said that using them can cause an influx of spirit activity in the vacinity of the negative ion generator. It can also help with meditation and the general mood of people due to the extra electrons the negative ions.

Anyone know anymore on this.

Reading a topic in the section sparked a memory of a dream i had a number of years ago and have been recently thinking about.

It started off with me (viewing through my own eyes) in what seemed a massive garden. The ground was a beautiful design made out of some soft of stone but it was flat. The garden itself was surrounded by a massive wall with grass and trees appearing over the top (as if it was built in a large crater in a mountain) Within the walls were curved alcoves where large statues stood. I saw these statues on television..or ones similar. In cambodia there are large statues of the buddha where he is standing up, hands by side wearing a large hat with gems in them. Anyway i wandered to the back of the garden towards a pool with more life sized statues were. To my left in the distance was a gazebo. As i walked around the smaller statues a sense of anxiety crept over me. I turned and standing a few meters away from me was a man dressed in a what seemed to be a samuri outfit. He held a piece of paper and i was suddenly blown towards him. I believe this was due to the astral winds.

Very interesting dream and one that i have remembered with great accuracy for a number of years.

Maybe I wandered off to somewhere I wasn't supposed to go. My descriptions aren't the best but it is difficult to describe the contrasting greens and grays and the tactile sensations i felt during the dream.

Just said I would share it.

often when i meditate and go on long enough I hear these loud pops..or claps..or paper ruffling noises in my room..its startles me a tiny bit and knocks me out of stride.  are these auditory hallucinations or something else.

I was reading up on it on wikipedia and this sentence i thought was interesting.

The Gnostic religious view of a spirit guide is that on the other side you and your guide planned your life on earth before you incarnated.

Very odd dream last night.

I forget the start of it but i had the ability to float through rooms and walls. I was in this room and a mans voice said go left..i went right and ended up looking at my reflection.. the voice insisted i go left..so i did. I flew through a metal grate into a air duck.

I was greeted by a man who was giving me a briefing. Was just the average joe blogs. I think went into another part of the room and another man was waving a red carpet like fabric around in a fashion similar to when you fluff out your duvet on the bed. He said keep an eye out for the white sparkles. Which i couldn't see at first. He said he was sorry for running through it all so quickly.

I then ended up looking at a small piece of metal with numerous holes drilled in it and two screws. This was my final test..i was just about to do it when i woke up.

Over the last few months my opinions and perspective of life has changed a great deal..as it generally does when you keep re-evaluating certain questions to find new answers. I think this dream may have been a kind of subconscious thought of it. very odd though.

the other night I had a very odd dream.

I was in a large house. One of the rooms was a laundry room but all the washing machines etc were in wooden alcoves and there were large rows of them. I was also been followed what seemed to be little red riding hood. Which i found highly disturbing in the dream for some reason.

I'm also sure i had dreams about this house before..its very large.

Over the last month i haven't been meditation as hard... but i have been thinking about why things havent clicked with me spiritualy.. and why i have seen things in bits, much like watching a film  but only seen randomn scenes which dont make sense. Which i am sure is a feeling many of you endure also.

I am very patient and am aware you have to go through the "motions" in order to reach a goal. But i then started wondering. What is my goal. why do i meditate. why have i seen/heard/dreamt/felt strange things, some of which come true, boggle the mind or are so mindblowing that the memory of the event is a poor substitute.

Anway I started to wonder if it would matter if i didnt meditate at all and ignored my spiritual side would it go away. OR did i choose to learn all this (again maybe?) when i came here. Or was i even given the choice.

I am just unsure of the reasons for pursuing this path. Which isn't easy, maybe this topic is coming up because I am close to accomplishing something significant.

I am not looking for any validation or a "pep" talk but i would like to see why some of you decided to dedicate so much time to something many people don't acknowledge.

i had a very odd dream last night but it is slightly fragmented and i was too tired to write the hole thing down.

I had a dream that aliens showed me how their space ships operate by a process beginning with the letter S (i cant remember the full word ) i also remember bits of experiments they showed me using two saucer pans and how it can be applied with one small magnet and one big one.

I can't seem to put my finger to why my brain would conjure up this stuff has i havent been thinking about it. It was fun though.

Near my house there is a sign leading into a small estate of houses.. on the sign is written "quakers meeting hall"

I never payed attention to it but today i passed an old graveyard (right next to the estate) and the words quakers was written on a plaque on the closed gates of the graveyard.

I used the might of wikipedia to find out what it meant and this is what i found.

i forget the order of how things went but it was pretty odd dream

there was a person looking for a buried body in a bog field he was also dying.It was said in the dream that it was a jamacian tradition that those who are dying see people for what they are before they die.. like eveyone was skinless.. flesh and bone exposed..i remember one quote from the dream "it was like the walls opened up for him"

like it said it is odd. I was seeing through the eyes of the man but i wasnt exactly in the dream. I wasnt watching anything about jamaica or voodoo and not really sure what sparked it off.

maybe a shaman was trying to talk to me

I was doing a meditation yesterday afternoon and began having this little visions of animals

an eagle,
Wolf,
fox,
butterfly
whale and owl appeared to me.

I've been told the eagle plays a big part in my life and I have been reading what these mean on a few animal guide sites.

was just wondering does anyone else know what their animal guides are.. any unusual ones.

..I've been reading these forums for some time aswell as posting.. but some of the stuff i've read sounds nuts.. like its easy for someone to register and babble on about something like..say..time travelling to the future and scripting off some stuff they "saw". I'm not saying its not true but I take everything with a pinch of salt on these forums and try and compare them to what i've experienced...

This is an amazing place for some very interesting and valuable material thats made free for all, maybe we should make more of an effort to keep the "real" information at the top and let the BS sink to the back

nice read.. how much of it is true is another thing..

i've heard alot of people mention F3 up to F10... this is such a noob question but what the hell are you all talking about,.. i know its in relation to states of mind etc but where can i read up on these.

I've been meditating for a year now and have had some odd experiences and some lucid dreams.

I've always had dreams some prophetic others just strange.

anyway over the last two weeks its been coming up to the winter solstice which took place on the 22nd(in ireland and britian its a big deal) I've been having very strange dreams, stuff that doesn't make alot of sense.. although lasts nights dream was more straighforward, i was helping this family get in contact with their dead grandmother, I could see her and talk to her and she came in through the front door like a normal person I remember joking with her aswell.

Is anyone else having more dreams than usual over the last two weeks?
Is it been caused by the winter solstice do you think?

been doing meditation and have felt a flutter effect just below my navel and at the bass of my spine..was wondering if these where my lower chakras opening up?

hi everyone... i've been meditating for nearly 8 months and have progressed well.. with lucid dreams and seeing flashing lights all over the place(while eyes are open and closed) but since the last month or two i've had a funny sensation in and around me left year..only happends when i meditate and it can become very intense... also there is a very low high pitched sound..

i was wondering if my clairaudient abilities are stating to kick in

hi everyone, I've been reading these posts for a long time and have found them very helpfull.  But just wanted to run my experiences by you see what you think (i will try and keep it short and sweet)

Through out my life i've always heard and seen things.. nothing major but things like barely audible muisc thats seems to come from nowhere and where ever you go in the house is at the same level (its like trad irish music, i was told these were fairaies who play music in the fields at the back of my house), white ciricles with a water shimmering  effect on the walls and strange noises when i'm about to fall asleep.  

so last august my mother put in contact with a psychic she trained with, she said i was gifted and gave some advice on meditation ect, i was just starting college and was only able for once a week but during christmass holidays i had more time and started to meditate for longer periods. At first it was all pins and needles but now its turned into a throbing sensation (my hands, feet and legs..corwn) also in the middle of my forehead theres a feeling like your holding your thumb on it and it throbs also, (3rd i believe)  this has been going on for the last 4 months and as a result i'm seen, bright flashes, shimmer waves that surround threes and auras of people and during meditation i see swirling colours and bright flashes and get cold drafts aswell on my hands. Also during the last few sessions of meditating i've got a unusuall feeling on my left ear, like the feeling of its been held... very hard to explain.

But the most interesting thing to happen to me is the lucid dreaming, was reading on this forum about how to induce such a state aboiut saying a affrimation like seeing your hands and you will become concious in the dream. I must have been thinking abou that because in an unusuall dream i was having i went outside to get my weights bar(?) and saw my hand and realised i was dreaming. It was a very heavy dizzy sensation more so than when i meditate, and tried to fly and called on my spirit guide to see if he will meet me (was perviously told who he was and having been trying to make contact with him for months) i floated to the front of my house where there were a line of cars on the road with their lights on not moving and a little girl was looking at me, also their was a man (30's?) standing in a trenchcoat looking at the line of cars... i was unable to hold this state and woke up.  

My second lucid dream was a little more hazy and i can't remember much, was unable to hold the state.

The 3rd lucid dream was occured on tuesday where for some reason in the dream it became a lucid one... i again asked to see my guide but woke up where i saw a man (the man from the first lucid dream) standing at my doorway taking a drink...  he scared the life out of me but am wondering who is he and how can i stay in that lucid state for longer..

all of these have occured over the last month and a half...  theres a lot of info in there so i hope i haven't left any out. a
