  For quite a while, I have been attending a Baptist Church, and doing a lot of their activities and gatherings with them. For quite some time, I have also noticed that Baptism is very confusing... It's so negative, or so it seems. So I started this topic to try and get some clarification.
  Why is it, that the Baptist belief system beliefs so zealously in the "fact" that any and everyother religion, whether it's a denomonation of Christianity or not goes to Hell?
  Why do they blame women for the down fall of man (I'm a guy, btw)? They think women are mans helper.And that the man is always right. And I can tell you from experience folks, us guy stend to be wrong a lot of the time. 
  Why do they humble themselves so much? Dimish the confidence of their followers.


In short, is there anythign Baptist have to say that isn't pig headed or arrogant?
 

  I go to a Baptist Youth Group, ok? So you're supposed to bring as mnay of your friends as you can. I did so and it was alwasy a good thing 'til I brought one friend, he'll be known as Joe. To put it simply, I had no idea Joe would act the way he does. He's more disrespectful than me. Which is hard, but the worst of it is (Pardon my French here kids) he talks excrement. CONSTANT excrement. Behind my back, infront of people, anywhere he can. Especially to girls. I'll be talking to a few girls, just casualy. And he'll come up out of no where and say something realllllly inappropriate, usually sexuly about me, or just say something to try and imbarass me. On Sunday school he waers Gothic Style Clothing to SUNDAY SCHOOL. It's just about the worst mistake I have ever made bringing him there. What can I do to fix this?

  Now, I'm typing this HOPING that I won't become the laughing stock of Astral Pulse, lol 


  For a little while, after I started practice energy control, and what not, I started hearing a voice in my head. Yes a voice. Not like, Burn the Nieghbors House down, or a voice like that, but like, it'll answer questions I have and is almost alwasy right. And when I'm trying to decide something quickly it'll tell me what to do and the outcome is usually good. Also, I'll get a feeling of when things are going to happen. What is that voice? Insanity? I Hope not, lol. Dead People, Spirit Guide, or just me?

  I recently read an article on www.totse.com. Those of you know what it is are gunna be surprised at the nature of this article, especially since it held a lot of truths.
  It was something a long the lines of "So and So's Guide to Psionics". I forgot the authors name. I figured that I'd read it, since there was really nothing to loose. I was shocked. I read it over the course of several days due to the size of it, and it was basically telling you how to use energy and what not.
I started practice at directing, absorbing, and controlling energy. You know, just like, focusing it towards goals to make them happen. Every single time I do this it works. Even if only in a mild sense.
  I don't like admitting this, but I have used it several times to attack other individuals. The only thing I really do is direct all of my anger and vengeance towards them. Usually something bad happens to them. Mind you, I only do that in extreme cases but that's beside the point.
  Anyhow, now I'm becoming more clairvoyant, and help people all of the time, usually by directing good energy towards them, or just talking to them.
  Basically, I just want to know what I can do to further enhance my abilities to the point of telekinesis or teleportation. Don't tell me it isn't possible either.

  I was in my Martial Arts class (Ji Do Kwan Family Style Tae Kwon Doe) when I thought of something... Would it be possible to sort of 'download' entire languages, martial art styles, and other huge packages of information from the Astral Plane, or another individual on the Astral Plane.
  In "The Matrix" Neo was able to download Kung Fu from The Matrix. Would that be possible in real life? Just having someone 'send' you the information, or simply downloading it from the very ether of the Astral Plane.
  Not just Martial Arts, or Languages, but how to do certain things, like Telekinesis, Teleportation, and other things like that.
  Do you guys thinks it's possible? Or is it merely a matter of finding someone willing to give you such information?

I'm friends with an  individual who has recently stated to seeing "Shadow People". According to him, it's been happening since he was 5. With more and more sightings occurring yearly. He gets a bad feeling right before he begins seeing them en mass. He sometimes wakes up with scratches on his body, though mostly on his hands. He has also had trouble getting to sleep. I've already done a psionic exercise that may or may not solve the problem. I won't know until he contacts me later on today, or near the end of the week. If this does not solve the problem, I'll need a few suggestions on how to get rid of them. Thank you so much!

Once one masters Lucid Dreaming, so to speak, is it possible to make the dream reality as realistic as the one we're using our computers?

 How hard is it, really.

 And, how many of your know where I can find  TRULY good book.

I've been getting into Lucid Dreaming lately, and I'd like to purchase some binaural audio or like products to assist me. What do you all recommend? I have one binaural audio CD right now- the Immrama Institutes "Insight CD".

Reality... Subjective, isn't it? Our dreams, are made of a subjective reality (Subjective to our will) aren't they? As is the Astral Plane. Why not the Physical? Why can't we readily change our reality as we see fit?

We're 'Alive' aren't we? I mean, ofcourse you'd say yes to that. But what defines Alive? Is it consciousness? Or, simply responding to stimuli? Or both? Think about a chemical reaction for a moment. If you provide proper stimulation something happens to the molecule(s) you're trying to change, right? Aren't we the same? If you do hit someone, they say "Ouch". If you use electricity to split the two Hydrogen atoms from the single Oxygen atom, they go their separate ways.
 My point being, what if everything is 'alive' but everything also follows a 'program', if you will. Our program is just much more massively more complex than that of water molecule. See what I'm getting at? If that doesn't make sense, here's what the book says(If that's illegal, have a moderator take it out):

The ability to focus ones energy toward a goal, or making something happen is within all of us, obviously. So, I do that alot using Music as stimulation for whatever I'm trying to make happen.
 I'm in my final year in Middle School (8th), so naturally, there's a few people who are total pricks. One of them has decided to start a very nasty rumor about me, because he THINKS that he knows something about me which is very untrue. I just focused to largest amount of energy I ever have towards him shutting his mouth, and respecting me more. So, was it wrong to do that?

I've been using the Insight CD for about 2 months, and it's incredible. I know there was already a post on it, but I had the strangest feeling no one would see my review. I posted about this twice, infact...
 It's very interesting. I don't see how Rain is annoying though, lol. If you're looking for a good way to Meditate, this is the way to go.

I'm honestly surprised I didn't see anything about that book on this forum! It's stupendous! If you have any interest in Quantum Physics, then this books is a must. Especially since it takes all of the theories and puts them in and easy to understand language. Here's several links:

I go to a Baptist youth group from time to time and find myself rather disturbed at their lack of zealotry. How can anyone in the right mind love an abstract being (Of which no solid proof demonstrates an existence.) more than their children, or spouse? That vexes me to the utmost extent, ergo I came here. Why, or better yet how, can someone do this?...

Death, one of the fundamental principles of Humanity thus far, however, is it really there? Or, is it just some looming belief of which we have no reason to fear? I,for one, think that, yes, our bodies do die but our consciousnesses do not. Or does it depend on the belief on the individual? Or none of these, and when we die, we're screwed?    Input?

Can anyone actually do it? Does anyone know where I can learn about it, or know good techniques for it?

Well guys, the beginning of January I order the Insight CD from //www.immrama.org and, IT WORKS. It was effing NUTS! I'll tell you, there's nothing like being in a deep meditative state while both hemispheres of your brain are resonating at the same fequency.

I was thinking... Do you guys think it would at all be possible to 'share' a dreams with another person, sort of like Astral Projecting together, only in a dream. I.E. You both would be in the same dream both governing what happens. It'd be pretty sweet, and it'd be possible.

I am 14 Years of Age, and I think I'm an Indigo Child. Are there any websites you guys know about that I could use to confirm my suspicions?

I've been looking at this company - www.awakenedminds.com - and I just want to know if they're for real or not.

Olimar is standing in a Field. It's a flat field, and for miles all he can see is rolling hills and more fields. There is almost no sound in this place. A couple hundred feet beyond him is an Oak Tree. An ancient Oak tree that has withstood the test of time... Olimar cannot see, hear, touch, smell, or taste the tree. Therefor, does it exist???
 If you were define reality as something you can  hear, see, ect. then No, it doesn't. But, if you can't see, hear ect. you family members do they exist???
 Perhaps, everyone is given a sort of Reality all to themselves. All of those personal realities then combine to form one really big one, but a single person is still in charge of their own reality so to speak. Sort of like the Internet. Everyone has their own computer, and are completely in charge of that computer, but that computers links up with millions of other computer to form one big community...
 See what I'm getting at here? Which could kind of be an explanation for things like Telekinesis and things of that nature. Like, being on the Astral Plane can manipulate, and change whatever they like on their home plane, so why can't we?

Quite a while ago I was posting on another forum ( Above Top Secret.com ) about how to get into a Military base completely undetected. The base officials would have to way to tell you were there, nor stop you. As soon as I began to type that thread, I 'blacked out' for a few seconds and had a frightening premonition. I answered my door to see nothing but the nefarious MIB. Or in this case, they were Men in Beige. Typical description. Tan skin, beige like skin, sunglasses. They wanted to speak with me. I never did post that topic. But I think you can figure out what the method would have been. The point someone brought up that various government COULD be monitoring this forum troubles me further...
 So! What do you think of that? Was it just a stupid thing cause by my imagination, or something more?...

This happened quite a while ago...

I was typing about using AP to do something the US Government wouldn't take much fancy to. Anyway, as I finnished the second word, I 'blacked' out, if you will. A small 'movie' played in my mind. There were two 'men' at my door. They were in tan/beige suits wearing sunglasses. Now, if you look up (And wast time) on conspiricy theories, you know that what I saw were probably the infamous MIB. No, not Will Smith, but the MIB that come to people who know to much about something or came to close to a secret.

What the hell happened? Is it something that didn't happen because I didn't post that thread, or is it something I am causing to happen by posting this!?

I'm wondering here, how many of you guys have actually traveled through space? Or like, gone exploring at one point. Better yet, have you encountered any intelligent life along your travels. I know for me, I have two goals. Chiefly, to speak with my recently deceased Mother, and to travel space. Mostly, just to see the sights.

Last night I had the worst dream I have ever had. A nightmare would have been a cake walk compared to this dream... Anyway. Here it goes...


 As far as the beggining goes, I remember only the word 'ethanol' and seeing a factory producing a lot of smog. Any who... The dream cuts to this part to where I find out that the girl I like (Perhaps even love) is in the hospital and in terrible condition, however, will make a full recovery. That feeling was like the one I got when my Mom would go in and out of the hospital a lot, only, a few times worse.
 Then I here that out of no where... Some black people (I don't know why they were black but... :/) came in a and beat her... They had ruptured her skull, and she was going to die in a few days...
 Now, there are no words, and hopefully never will be, to describe that feeling. I mean, I wasn't very upset when my Mom died. And that's for a few reasons you'll find out later on. But... I don't know. It's the worst thing I've ever felt, and in my dream, I almost killed myself.
 It ends with me walking into the room to see, her, and just as I turn the corner, I wake up.... My pillow is soaked and my face is wet from tears. My first words were 'That God that was a dream...'



 That was the worst dream I've ever had, and hopefully ever will have....

I was sitting at my computer looking at Proverbs, and I was thinking about one, and zoning out. When outta no where, this stack of notes flies across the room! What happened?

I've been trying to project for about a month now, and when I ever I feel the sensation of being whisked out of my body, I feel my self going right back to it... Why is this? Is it because of the sudden jolt I'm not ready for, or is it the fact my body doesn't want me to go?
 I remember once I was about to get out of my body, but didn't know if the sensation's I was feeling were normal. I felt myself about to wet the bed... Probably from muscle relaxation...
 What should I do?

I think the meaning of life is to learn, but what so you all think?

When I try to AP, I'll start to clear my mind, and begin to fully relax, and I'll feel a tug in whatever direction, and that'll surprise me and break my concentration. How can I stop this? Or will it go away in time?

A while back I made up a spell for the physical plane in case I was ever attacked, it goes "Gracious Goddess please help me, please increase my strengt times three." I've used it in dreams, and stuff, but with that thing that's been following me. Should I use it if it attacks me any where? Physical, dream, astarl. I just found out that my head phones, I use them to AP, are magicaly missing. I haven't been home all day and left them in my CD player... So, I don't know if two things are at war because of me, because headphones don't disapear magicaly...

Last night I stayed up really late and didn't decide to AP since it was like, 4 AM. I was laying in my bed when I got the feeling that I was being watched. But, I always get that in my room, so I dismissed it as nothing. But, it got worse. I was about to doze off when I saw a demonic face... It had horns, and as soon as I realized what it was, it disappeared. This was with my eyes closed. I heard a growling noise in the back round twice, and it could have been my Dog the first time, but the second time it was too weird. Then, I went to role over, and I looked out from under the covers ( I like to be completely covered) and I saw the outline of a head and shoulders. I was scared shi*less. I turned on my TV for light and noise and went to sleep. Ever since I started trying to AP, I've been getting weird heartburn, and wake up from at least 10 hours of sleep, and still feel too tired to move.  Plus, sometimes I feel like I'm being watch in other places but my room. I think I could be being stalked, but what do you guys think? Thanks.

I don't remember when I found out I could do this, it just sort of came to me. Maybe it was from some higher power, I don't know. I've only noticed I can do it for about 1 year. Now, I can Emmet this screech if you will. It sounds something like tires screeching but it's different. I remember I was on my way home and it was dark out. I suddenly felt a rush of anger triggered by a thought I had. I let out a two toned screech and something answered me. I was so scared. I did it again to show my friend, something answered me again. As I post this I am getting scared for some reason. My neighbor also told me of a time when she heard something outside my window make the scream I can make. Only it wasn't me. My friend had an odd dream about it too. We were going to McDonald's and I let out this screech and on the way back from MD, something was chasing us. It resembled something dog like walking on 4 legs, quite fast. I think it's a sound like the New Jersey makes I don't know. But my friends can't do it either. It's weird, and I'd like to know what that is before I do it any more.

I was posting about something on ATS about something that shall not be name or described when I had an odd premonition. Since what I was talking about would and could be a HUGE security threat I took head of that vision. I was sitting writing it when all of a sudden I blacked out. I saw two men in tan suit with sunglassed at my door. The vision ended. I was scared out of mind since I had read about these, Men in Black. I made the post later and nothing happened, probably since it was very crude but maybe it's though this forum that I will meet my dimise. Now, it's no wonder the government would be interested in AP. Imagine what they could do with it. I wouldn't be surprised if they where monitoring this forum. Not surprised at all. I used to be a member of ATS... btw

Well, might I say first of all while reading your post the phrase 'child predator' kept coming to mind. I'm 13, and sorry, but beautiful realationship? My butt. I mean, do you honestly thinkg we're that dumb 'strictly' under 18? Lemme tell you man, people over 18 do A LOT of the same excrement 20 and about 25 year olds do. Maybe you're not a predator, maybe you are, if not sorry. But, it was just a little too zealous for me. Form a beautiful relationship, what do I look like, an aardvarck?

A few of you remember my post about the cut I found on my Stomach after trying to AP. About 4 days after that I began to get a lot of heart burn. Do you think that these two have been connected?

I was looking up some stuff on Music and the effects it has on the brain, and I found www.intelegen.com. Apparently, they research and develop sound things to do a number of things to you. Like, AP, increase you're learning ability, make you alert and awake, lucid dream, and one is like if you listen to it for a half an hour, it can be like sleeping for 4 hours. So, should I order the Assorted Brain Programs CD, or not? I know there's someone on this very subforum who has something like that, but it might not work on my damn computer (iBook). It's only $27 and I'll have it in two weeks, so I'll tell you guys what happens. I would send for it this week but, this weeks allowance goes to the Halo 2 Multiplayer Map Pack.

Let's say you're APing and you come across something, and it attacks you. Whether it's sucking the Energy out of you, or like, fighting you what should you do??? Fight back? Or just go back to your body?

I was attempting to AP last night and when I stopped I notice that I had a slash mark starting at my stomach and going down to my Kidney. It wasn't a trail though. It was two very small cuts next to each other, there was only one that pun cured the skin though, the others just looked like marks. But they were lined up with each other. As I said, these happened after AP. I haven't done a cleansing ritual, or make a Sacred Circle. I'm not Christian, so I don't want to use anything envolving 'God.' What do you  guys think this is? Today, I went into my room (Where I AP) to play Halo 2 on Xbox Live and I felt a weird presents ( I know I spelled that wrong....) and a smell. It wasn't a bad smell, in fact it reminded me of Cedar. It felt like only one was in the room. Two nights ago, I remember seeing all kinds of odd creatures while trying to AP. Only a few where bad, the other ones where just plain wierd... So, I don't know what the smell was, or the presents of something else... Help?

I haven't been trying to AP Lately, so...

Here's what happened. About 3 months ago, I started listening to the Newgrounds Audio Portal.The artists there have some great music, btw. So, I had my friend make me a CD of all the songs I liked a lot. First because I liked them, a lot, and second to give me something to concentrate on while trying to Astral Project. No, I haven't done it yet. I tried it last night, and from what happened, don't know whether to be scared or happy.
I had gotten to the 3rd track.

It was about the middle I think when I realized that my eyes kept wanting to jerk around and stuff. So, I let them. And holy shi* did they ever... I think it was like REM sleep. After r about 30 seconds of that, some muscles on my body began to jerk around too. My heart rate began increasing a lot. I mean, it was like doing an intense workout. I measured it and it was 108 BPM. So, I don't know what the hell was happening. And I don't want to do it again until someone tells me what happened. I know you are supposed to be relaxed, but, I don't know.
