Hi all I thought I would post my latest breakthrough in LDing.  :dancing:

The other morning I was having a really good LD, the control was solid and the visuals were clear and crisp. I could see myself in mirrors and when I looked down at myself, something that I cant do when I project (odd that ehh   ). Anyway as usual all LD's have to end and I soon found myself falling out of it. I lay there  mentally awake but my body was still asleep. I had the strong desire to get back into the LD but I wasn't sure as to how to achieve this. Then without any conscious thought on my part the image of falling backwards through a cloud filled sky entered my mind and I was soon back in the LD with the same level of control and clarity as before.  What I found to be remarkable was that each time I left the dream I was able to reenter it twice more but by consciously using the 'falling through clouds' trigger.

It should be noted that the first time the falling through clouds image came to me that I did not call it forth through any conscious means. I just wanted to get back to the lucid dream I was having when boom there it was. The feeling was and still is quite natural and almost without any effort. The image starts with a brilliant blue sky filled with fluffy looking pure white clouds, then I start to zoom away through the clouds backwards while at the same time slowly and gently falling down. The whole thing was just so comfortably natural.

What I intend to do now is see if such a trigger works every time i leave an LD or whether it could be used to help induce an OOBE. It would also be interesting if any one else use were to use this method what sort of results they get or if they have a different method.

The other night while dreaming I managed to 'awake within the dream'. I suddenly realized that the surrounding scenery was really bizarre to say the least   . I knew I was in a dream so I took control and had a little fun....at first. I then used the opportunity to see if I could find myself a guide by yelling out "help I am in need of a guide"   . Sure enough an elderly looking women turned up and said "Hello did you call". She looked quite friendly but what puzzled me was that her mouth just vanished and I thought that I did it and said sorry. Her mouth came back but everything around me started to change and wouldn't you know it I woke up. Now the question is was it a genuine guide or did i make her up?  :dont-know:

Its been awhile since I posted anything worth telling but this recent experience just has to be a winner. It occurred after several days of relaxation and meditation practice. Apologies if it is a little long but it is worth a read.

The time was quite early and everything was peaceful so I went into my usual routine of relaxing my whole body and defocusing my closed eyes. After several minutes or maybe longer,( time tends to lose any meaning at this point, it could have been an hour) the darkness resolved itself into a wood paneled room with a large leather chair. This room is what I imagine to be my mental control center, a place of safety from where I can review my memories or prepare to journey to other realms, after-all everyone needs a starting point don't they. I have only managed to get here  once or twice that I can actively remember and never have I seen it occupied by anyone but me. This time was different in that there were several people standing and sitting in-front of me. It took me a few moments from listening to their conversation to realize that they were in-fact aspects of my own Psyche.  I talked to them for awhile, of what I wont go into as it's somewhat personal and probably boring to some but eventually the subject moved round to the Akshic records. I asked if they could aid me in getting into the Akshic record and they said that they could. They led me to a large door that had not been there before (maybe it was always there I just never noticed before), the door was very stiff and I needed all the help they could give to pull the door open. Beyond the door was a strange corridor that continued to change its appearance as I walked down it. Eventually I arrived at a large room with masses of books of every description lining the walls with doorways leading off to other book-filled rooms. In the center of the room was a large old fashioned desk with some books on it and a rather distinguished looking old man in a white robe. He smiled at me as I lent forward to look at one of the books on the desk, this was unfortunately as far as I got before I was rather unceremoniously dumped back into the waking world by an impatient dog with a very cold nose.

As you can see quite an interesting little trip that I hope in future to repeat with an extended stay in the library and maybe a little talk with the old man. It would be interesting to know if anybody else has had a similar experience or what your thoughts are about mine.

Hi all I just have to relate the latest in my attempts.

It was late in the morning when conditions were again just right to run some practice. I was feeling very relaxed and was still wearing my eye mask. I did some energy work on my brow chakra and then went on to do as Frank says and started the noticing exercise. As I looked into the darkness the usual swirling color blobs started to appear so I shifted my focus to beyond the blobs. After about a minute (could have been longer as I tend to lose a sense of time at about this point) I felt as if my head was moving up and a little forward. I had a strong desire to see what was going on and suddenly as if I had ripped off the eye mask I could see the end of my bed and the bedroom door with my dressing gown hanging on it. This vision was fuzzy at first and for a few seconds I just stared, I thought perhaps I should blink and rub my eyes a bit. No sooner had my hand touched my face I could feel the eye mask was still there and everything went black.    It was such a freaky feeling that I had to remove the mask and sit up for a minute.

From this experience I can only deduce that I was using some form of astral sight. As to the fuzziness perhaps I need more practice or look for an astral optician and get me some glasses.

Here is an interesting event that happened only the other morning so I thought I should share it and get some feed back.

The time was early in the morning everyone was either asleep or had left for work. Enjoying the quiet and feeling quite relaxed I thought I would go through my AP exercises. I had just reached the point where the darkness was all encompassing and almost had no sense of my physical form when I reached up to rub my forehead (it was automatic, wasn't really thinking about it). The action made me come back to the waking world. Now here is the interesting bit, I had felt my hand on my forehead but when I looked I saw that both arms were still under the covers. It was not my physical hand that I felt but my etheric hand, how cool is that  8) .

So I was wondering if anyone else has ever had a similar experience.

This is the first time that I have posted a question (yes I have read the faq) so I hope someone can help.

First let me say that I have been trying to project for quite some time with limited success. The other day being quiet I thought I would try the phasing method, so I lay down closed my eyes and began relaxing and looking into the 2d darkness. Next thing I knew I had lost feeling of my physical body. The darkness had now taken on a kaleidoscopic effect with the colors all being black. My only thoughts at this time were 'that's odd, not seen that before, wheres the color' and then just as suddenly I was back fully aware and lying on my bed.

What I want to know is did I experience F3oc and is it ok or normal to skip F2oc altogether. Also how did I get there? When relaxing and looking into the 2d dark I tend to see yellowish grey blobs floating past and a lot faces flashing in and out of existence so I try to focus beyond the blackness. Mostly I fall asleep and I have only had maybe half a dozen OoBE over the past several years so this could be real progress.

Any input would be gratefully received as I hope to be sharing any future success with you all.  :D
