Currently I have been trying to expand my astral awareness by attempting to transit from the RTZ to another location. I have willed myself, jumped up high into the sky, asked for help from my guide...but I have not succeeded for some reason. I am going through a transition in my waking life right now. Lots of moving pieces; I just moved away from my parents and got a new full time job so perhaps that is causing my road block? The closest I have ever gotten to coming out of the RTZ as I know it is seeing pure bright white light. Then I saw what looked like an ancient Chinese lion character. And after that, it fell away. Hm.

I would love thoughts and any helpful hints that can be provided. I'm thinking my uncertainty while being awake is impeding my progress.

Recently, I have been having to practice projection or meditation in rather noisy environments. Because of this I have developed a technique to help catapult myself into a peaceful relaxed state despite whatever is going on around me. And I would like to share.

First off, you want to work WITH the noise and not against it. Go with the flow.
Visualize and sense the noise in your mind-Whatever it may be. And then you want try and find the silence within that noise. Its almost like a track overlayed by another. Something that is hidden within. Actually that is exactly how I envision it. But do what works for you. Listen for the silence and try and focus on that. Align yourself with it if you can and eventually you will start to FEEL it.

Sorry if this is hard to understand. Its the best way I can describe it! Let me know if this works!

Hello again,

I often roll out of my body and find myself in the RTZ. Being fully lucid, I try to transport myself to another location. I am having a hard time doing so. Its almost like I'm fighting with myself thinking 'let's see if this works' and then other times I think 'this is going to work' and nothing happens. How does one overcome this?

Also, does it help to have a single location in mind when trying to do this?

This is a difficult question to put into words. But, I was wondering do you believe it is possible to contact loved ones who have passed away in the astral? If so, how does one go about it?
The most I have experienced is RTZ projection and I every once in a while I'll see a random person. None of these people speak however.

Once right before I was just about to 'seperate' from my physical body, I hear the most beautiful symphonic orchestral song I have, possibly, ever heard. The best way I can describe it is that it seemed familiar and yet it twisted and turned in ways that kept surprising me.
My question is...
Is this song a production of my mind or do you think it came from the Astral?

If only I could of recorded it! :)

 :-o

It all began when I got up in the morning to use the bathroom. While up, I talked to my Mom a little bit. Maybe all of this happened because I was awake a little longer then I would have been normally. I'd say this took no longer then seven minutes.

As I tried to go back to sleep I got to a point where I started hearing a loud wavering tone in my head. I remembered this tone from my last experiences, so I knew what was happening. At this point the tone, is like a wake up call so that I know it's almost time to roll on out and open my eyes. I felt subdued vibrations in my body for a breif time. Next thing I know I'm in my room. Everything so realistic. I knew it wasn't the physical but wanted to make sure just incase I wanted to fly. The ways a have come to validate this now are through looking at my clock to see what it says. I have also tried clapping my hands together. It's strange. You can feel the Impact of your hands slapping together, but no pain or aftershock. Ok, so my first 3 false awakening experiences I decided I wanted to try and find a certian someone. I got downstairs and out into my neighborhood. I called this persons name. A voice responded. I see the person that responded but it was not the person was looking for. Matter of fact, when I brought that to their attention they made a funny screwed up face at me like they were insulted. Lol. Then ended my first FA. The second and third FA were more of me searching on my own. To no avail, I couldn't find what I was looking for. Once the third FA ended, I thought to myself 'This isn't working. Let's see of I can fly.' As entered the fourth FA I heard the most beautiful  orchestrated music I have ever heard in my life. If I could write the song on paper, I'd win an award surely. Lol. The song kept surprising me. I would think how amazing it was and then it would just get better and better in ways that I would have predicted! I have never heard anything like that in my life. After the song subsided, I was in my room again. I tried to jump and go through the ceiling like super man. But all I saw was blackness. Maybe it was because, I didn't fully believe if I could do it or not? The fifth FA was a similar flying attempt.

This morning I was so psyched I has these experiences. However, I am wondering how I get to another location or how do I overcome the flying problem?

Interesting projection from last night.
I was in some sort of theater environment with a guy and a girl. These two have appeared recently in other dreams too. I don't know who they are. But there was also a large group of people that belonged to some sort of organization. An announcement came on the loud speaker saying how having any kind of possession of drugs is illegal. The male that was with me saw that one of the organization members was carrying a green baggy full of a leafy substance. To me, it looked like parsley. LOL!(I don't do drugs, btw.) Immediatly the guy I was with started making a scene and pretty much outed the organization member for carrying the substance. Apparently, all the other people from this organization got pretty mad about that. Next thing I know they are escorting me, my two friends and anyone else that wasn't involved with them into an auditiorium. They placed all of us down on our knees.  The leader came to the of the forefront of the crowd and explained that we were either going to be executed or trained to join their little club.  ...if we survive. I remember seeing that some of these oragization members were actually some of my friends from high school years back. I remember going up to one of them saying 'Really? Are you really going to do this? You don't have to.' But anyway...Everyone was frightened. I was in the front of the kneeling crowd with my two friends. Everyone in back of me wouldn't even lift there heads up to look anyone in the eye. It was like their foreheads were plastered to the ground. There were guards with guns standing at a door to the right. Someone tried to escape, but he was caught. I won't say what happened to him. Not PG at all. As the commotion from what just happened died down, I looked to my female companion and said 'we have to try and get out of here. Even if we end up dying, its better then what awaits us. We have a really good shot if all of us work together.' She agreed. I distinctly remember as we talked telling her to look forward as we conversed as to not tip off the guards. After some time, we took our chance with the door on the right. Everyone behind us  joined in surprisingly enough, but only a few of us made it outside to a wide open area of a forest. It was me, and two other older women now. Not sure where my two friends went. I knew that the guards would pursue, so I decided to call my guide the dragon. He came almost immediately. The two women were rather startled to see him! I hopped on and told the ladies to take a seat as well. I circled around a few times to see if anyone else was coming. As we took off, I see two dogs running toward us. The one woman, explained that they were hers. So I landed and had the dogs get on. An told them to get on the dragons tail and wrap their legs around so they wouldn't fall off. Kind of funny, I know.
We took off; gliding over this giant forest. After some time, we came across watch looked like a watchtower. My dragon snagged its skin on the tower as we flew by. And we started to descend. It was almost as if the dragon was like a balloon that was deflating. The last thing I remember thinking is that there was a way to fix it. ....And that's all I remember.

WEIRD.

:-D This works wonders for me. So I wanted to share this technique for those who are having troubles with their eyes opening, tensing, or moving during practice. It will make you quite drowsy.

- Breathe deep with eyes open. Eyes soft. Dont strain.
- Exhale slowly and close your eyes.
- Repeat

This should cause your eyelids to feel heavy after a few repetitions. As you close your eyes, allow gravity to do the work. You will find that as you go the amont that you open your eyes becomes less and less until the eye is fully closed.

Nice and relaxed. Enjoy!

 :-D  WOW.
Talk about super real. Around 3:00 pm I meditated for about an hour with a hemi sync track.
Afterwards, I decided to take a short nap to prepare myself for a projection practice tonight.
At one point, I could hear my Mom and my Dad downstairs. My dad was talking to my Mom while she was cooking dinner. It felt as though I opened my actual eyes, got out of bed, and walked across my room to this large mirror I have. This felt very real but I had that very funny fuzzy sensation that I get when something MIGHT be non physical. I touched the mirror as a test. For some reason my logic was this: if its solid, this is physical reality. If its not, I'm projecting. Well it was solid, so I went back to bed.... My non physical bed. Lol.
Do you l know that constant tone that you can hear if you listen hard enough with your ears? I kept hearing it but it was soft and broken up into segments. Sometime later, I actually physically woke up. And NOW I am quite certain that I did indeed project and tricked myself to going back to bed. HAHA.

I guess my question is, how can I make sure I don't miss an opportunity like this again? :)
This is only the third time of have done this and become aware that I have done it. Thanks guys and gals.

Is there a way you can be sure what you are seeing is non physical? Everything is so real!

I am curious to know. How did your guide come to you? Through meditation? Or a projection session?
#11
:-D Hello everyone. I am looking for a fellow projector who would like to, eventually, try and meet up in the astral. Maybe do some experiments together and see what we can see? And then maybe we can share our experience with one another. Sort of like comparing notes! If you are interested please message me so we can get to know each other. (Not in a creepy way!) :)
I am aware that this kind of thing requires hard work so I really would love for this to be a long term friendship.
Let's help one another out and see what we can do!

I remembered this just a few hours ago. Had some interesting astral experiences this morning, but failed to mention this. Before I projected I met this creature. Not your average creature. It was about as big as a black bear. And it had the body of a seal and two heads. No face though. Black in color. I wasnt afraid of it. There was also a small blonde haired girl. I think I was the child but can't be sure. But, I do know that I was telepathically communicating with the two headed no faced seal. No words. Just thoughts. I asked it a few questions. But the only ones I can remember are: Are you bad? And do you eat people? Lol. It said no. Pretty sure it asked me a few questions too, but I cannot recall them. After that I was whisked off into the astral. Weird huh? What do you guys think? Maybe a guide?

Can you use visualization to control where you are projected to? I have tried myself, but I usually make more progress if i let my subconscious take the reigns. I've heard people take about this a lot. But can someone give me some instructions or maybe just a personal example? Do I use visualization from the start of a session and carry it all the way through? Or is this something you implement once you have reached a certain frame of mind? I have a hard time visualizing scenery early on. But people I can see clear as day. Should I focus on that?

I know many use visualizing for taking the focus away from the physical. Personally I have better luck with mantra when it comes to that. Any ideas? :)

:-D Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well.

This morning I had two strange experienced I wanted to share with you all.
It was around 9 AM. I really had to go to the bathroom but didn't want to get up because I was all warm and comfortable. I'm sure you guys know how that is. So eventually I got up, went downstairs, did what I had to do, came back upstairs and crawled into bed. Usually, I fall right back asleep. But this time, for some reason, I kept thinking of all the things I had to do today when I get up. I kept playing scenarios of them in my mind. Now, I wasn't trying to do this or visualize these scenes. They were just playing on their own.
Thats when every once in a while I would hear a random noise. I would brush it off because I remembered reading about them on here. Next thing I know... I get that feeling like I'm a pin prick of consciousness in a vast still lake of blackness. Very peaceful. I really like it. Shortly after, I see this blurry image of a person. I phased into this scene of what used to by my bathroom a few years back. And when I say phased it was like I was literally  gently pushed forward into it. The bathroom was being redone and I was looking into the mirror above the sink looking back at myself. And it was weird because I looked like me spot on. When I dream usually things are so abstract and nonsensical. I was so suprised to see myself because I knew this was not the physical. I remembered being pushed into this scene.

...Then I made a bad move. Lol. I realized I was looking into a mirror and thought "Awww sh$!." I don't like mirrors at night. I know that sounds silly but I always think I'm going to see something in them. So yeah, that thought alone made things get creepy. I looked closer, and my one eye was whited out. After that, I got myself out of there before it got worse. And it was funny because I went through all the steps:

I just got sucked into a scene.
It really looks like me in this mirror.
I'm projecting. YES!
OH crap. A mirror.
Fear.
No. Don't fear. You'll ruin it.
Too late.
Getting creepy.
Backing out.

Thats the first experience. After I went back to the blackness, I started to feel crazy tingly sensations. I couldn't feel my body though so it was strange indeed. Then, I heard this tone and it kept going higher and higher and higher in pitch. Intense. THEN....

I was front row at a Micheal Jackson concert for a few seconds. He was singing you are not alone. He walked by where I was standing, smiled, and that was it. WEIRD! Then I woke up.

:-o I always practice right before I go to bed.
I was laying on my stomach and visualizing. I can't say what I was visualizing as it was so many things.
But eventually my consciousness shifted and I was in my room. Just floating there. But it felt so real. However my consciousness felt different from what it feels like to be in the physical or even dream. It kind of reminded me of when I used to sleep walk as a kid. But anyway, I don't remember too much as it was brief. But I remember being really calm and a feeling very accomplished. Like a YES, I did it! Feeling. It was that feeling that carried over to when I woke up this morning. :)

When the visuals start to flow for me, sometimes I see images in the darkness before my eyes.
However lately, its been different. Almost like I'm literally looking within myself and my consciousness is like a big screen. Is this the third eye that some talk about?

:-D Hello everyone! I hope you are well!

Last night, I was in a deep F10. I could no longer feel my body so much. And the limbs that I did feel felt as though they were twisted in a way other then what they were. So, I was playing around Wth visualizing. I had just recently watched the movie mortal kombat, so one of the ninjas appeared and I got to play around with that. He was moving about and I  getting different views of him. Some very close up. Eyes. Lots of expression in the eyes because the rest of his face was covered. Then a started to get what felt like chills radiating from my chest\stomach area to the rest of my body. This happened several time. After that....
Now it's hard for me to explain this but I experienced a popping sensation. My whole consciousness popped. It wasn't so much of a bodily thing at all. I woke up after that because it startled me. But I felt really strange as though. I was in a dream! I felt slow, floaty, and fuzzy. Not my normal waking up self. So I decided to do a little test. Checked my phone to see if I really was dreaming, but everything appeared normal. So... I guess I wasn't?

What do you think happened? Did I pull my self out of it at a crucial moment?
#18
Bit of a tongue twister, eh?  :-D

Any one use this product? What do you think of it?
Has it I helped you in projecting?

Sometimes I open my eyes prematurely when trying to project. Therefore, I am considering an eye mask! This brand looks quite nice!

Weird title, I know!
Lately, I have noticed that when I am deep into an ap session (when the blackness in front of me is pitch black and endless) my consciousness will shift for a split second and I might see an scene that is so life like you would think its real. But after a second or two I get sucked back to the blackness. Last night I saw a cloudy marshland. It was raining. There was a rather large pond of gray water and I could see each droplet of rain hit the water which caused ripples just like in the physical. Detail! My question is, how do I build on this? Is it possible to sustain a scene like this?

These scenes seem to take me by suprise. And this is different from visualization for me because it feels as if I am there. There is no effort anymore. But at the same time, I keep bringing myself out of it. Haha. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you all for your words of wisdom. :)

Personally, I think it just takes me by suprise and I get excited and snap out of it.
#20
Do I just visualize it when I am deep into projection? Any tips? Anyone every been there?
#21
 :-D Hello everyone!

I just wanted to share my most recent experience because it was very different from any of my past sessions.
So I was doing my usual pre sleep ap practice. Almost as soon as I layed down, my whole body melted away and disappeared. Now, I have experienced losing the feeling of body before, but no where near this quick and thoroughly. I was listening to a binrual beat that was intended for ap. After some time I started to hear what sounded like a song from a radio overlayed on the binurals. I tried to be passive, but I was so intrigued. It was some sort of rock song that I have never heard before. It had lyrics but I could not make them out. I started to wonder if I was actually hearing this in the physical or not. After this... I started to see vivid moving images! This is big for me because before it was just stills most of the time. I kept seeing all sorts of differnt fabrics. The texture and detail were different for each. Then I saw young blonde haired child sitting in a front yard on a beautiful day. The grass was so green and the sky so blue. A woman that looked like her grandmother came out to give her some sort of cookie. I remember both of their faces well. CRAZY! :) I feel like I'm really making progress. What do you think? Am I right about to take a dip I into the astral? :)

Also, I just wanted to say that the methods that I have been using lately are actually two.  I start off with a mantra. And then when I lose track of the mantra I squish or stretch my consciousness. By then, the images start popping up!

Another completely unrelated thought and question set...
I have been practicing ap for a few months now. But just lately, I have been having vivid dreams that I can remember. On top of  this I had a dream about something and then my boy friend texted me that morning and pretty much told me he sort of had the same dream without me even saying anything. Now, it wasn't exactly the same I don't think. But the same jist of scenario. And a few days later I have a dream about someone that I haven't talked to in a while. The next morning when I woke up I received a text from this person. What is this? I'm still having dreams like this and wondering if it's something more then just a dream? Or am I crazy? Lol.

 :?

Ok... so this is going to sound weird, but I thought others may want to give this a shot.

Lately, when I am deep into an ap session and staring at the blackness in front of me... I find what I can take that darkness and squish it down into a flatness so that it expands horizontally to the sides. Eventually it feels 3d. It makes my awareness feel pin pointed; like everything is aligned perfectly. All I have to do is just think about this happening and sort of move my eyes in a small left to right direction repeatedly. Almost like reading a book. Has anyone heard of this before or tried it? I feel like its really helping! :-)

 :?

Question.
Is it possbible to project or meditate in positions others then sitting in lotus or laying on ones back? I find that I am fully comfortable when I lay on my stomach or if I curl into a ball on my side. What do you think?
#24
 :-D

As I deeply relax and stare at the darkness before me, I often see what looks like hooded shadow people looking down on me. They are darker then the darkness of the inside of eyelids; pretty much one big blob of black. Sometimes they whiz around. I'm not afraid of them. I  just don't know what they are. I actually laid there and in my mind said hello to see what would happen! Sometimes there is just one and other times there are several. Anyway, anyone else experience this or have any idea what they are? Thanks guys!

When I saw this video it really struck a chord deep within me and I wanted to share it with you all. In a way, I imagine that each one of us are like the people in this video; Meditating/projecting to know our true selves better. Yet even though we practice this by ourselves, we are never truly alone in our journey. I find the music and imagery in this video to be both awe inspiring and beautiful. But maybe some might find it a bit sad?

For me it showed me the cycle of life. From young to old, we all search for something that many never find. :) so many cycles in life that never end.
I hope you find this to be as beautiful as I did.
Plus, who doesn't love big cats?  :-D
And the funny part is when I practice meditation/projection my cat always seems to be near. Maybe they are on to something?

Please share with me your thoughts on this!

Do you like binaural beats when meditating or practicing ap? ....Or do you prefer silence? I often use binaurals because of the noise in the house that could distract me. However, I find that when I use silence I tend to focus on the ringing sound inside my head. It's almost like my body/mind harmonizes with that the sound. Ever experience this?

Also, if you have a favorite binaural please share it! :) I would love to hear what works for all of you!

I hope you all are having a wonderful day and night!

 :-D Hello everyone!
I have been practicing for about a month now. Have not fully projected just yet. Here is where I am at.
I usually practice at night before i go to bed. Usually around 11 or 12 pm. I like night time because i am too awake during the day. My eyes wont stay closed. I have even created my own custom binaural beat using 2 different tracks that really relax me and let me zone out. So, I lay in my bed all nice and warm. I focus on the blackness ahead of me. I tell my mind to suck all my conciousness out of my body and place it into my mind. Kind of behind my eyes. Almost like i am watching my own personal movie screen. Lol. My body goes numb and from time to time I get tingly feeling or vibrations in my arms and legs. I have gotten to the point where I see colors, kaleidoscope type formations, and even some still crystal clear images. I find that when I'm the deepest relaxed that I can be that I see random objects really close up. And after that, lately, i feel like I'm being stretched long ways.... Like a laughy taffy.

The problem comes in after this point. Where.... I think I am seeing things but I actually am opening my eyes....my physical eyes!  What's the next step? Any suggestions?  :-P I try to be as passive as possible!
#28
I don't believe I have fully astral projected just yet but I have come pretty close!
After I can't feel my body anymore, I start seeing still images. Usually they are either a landscape or an object. Here is a list of what I have seen in almost crystal clear vision so far:

Crayons on a table (Random, right??)

A beautiful landscape of what seemed to be paradise to me. Cliffs topped with grass that jut out from a green blue river. A river that led to an ocean. Some trees off to the side as the sunlight beamed through clouds.

And very commonly I see flowers. Flowers or foliage of a forest.

My question is what do you guys see? And also what is the next step?

 :-D
Hello everyone.
I have been practicing AP for about a month now. I know a lot of people say not to practice at night due to chances of falling asleep, but night time feels more natural to me. I find that during the day or morning, I am too awake and aware to really let go of my physical body. That, and I feel like I could be getting something done during the day. Haha.

My question is this....
Is there any thing that can be done for relaxing the eyes during a session?

I have gotten to the point in my practice where i feel as if i am floating or rather sometimes swaying back and forth. Amost like i am in the ocean. I can feel vibration/pulsations in my body (usually my arms and legs get tingly) as I lose myself in the blackness. I swear i felt my right astral toe pop up last time. I try to be as passive as possible and just let the imagery come to me. But I find myself getting to a point where my eye lids start flickering and sometimes they even slowly open. This is really holding me back....I think.
There was one time where I was in a really deep state of relaxation, and I felt like there was a second pair of eye lids that closed on top of my physical ones. I know that sounds weird, but i felt like I was in a large pitchc black warehouse. Lots of depth.

Anyway... Any tips or help would make my night. I want to try again tonight. :)

Also, I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but I do use binaural beats. Theta. It really helps me when I visualize my mind and the tone of the beat syncing up and almost becomining one. Sorry for the long post!!! I hope to hear from you soon! :)
