Hey Panthau!

I wouldn't give up now! Just before I started to project, I was having dreams about astral projection.... I personally think that its a good sign that your just about ready!

Tvos,

Thankyou for the in depth response.

I see what you mean by examples that there must be a god/creator. We can't explain how life started nor can we explain where the universe finishes... there must be something greater out there. Although, there is no particular religion that seems to fit in with what I believe through logical sense and personal experience... Do I just simply believe in 'God', with my own perception of god?

Writing down statistical information sounds like a great idea. Will definitely keep me motivated and have the idea of AP on my mind... which seems to be the best solution to having constant AP's for myself.

Yeh, will come in and check out your website! thanks

Success... somewhat this morning. I drank the mugwort as a herbal tea last night and put some of the herb under my pillow. When I woke this morning, I straight away thought about how the mugwort didn't help... But then I thought, 'why not try now' and before I knew it, I was out!

It wasn't the best projection as it only lasted a minute or so, but was an improvement.

Tvos, you say I need to find the one important thing 'God'.... I have searched for higher beings in the astral, but with no real success. I know it may only take one really spiritual and emotional experience for gain the energy and desire I need... But what is the best way to be able to experience projection like so?

Hey Synergy!
Not sure if you have done you book yet or not, but here is one from me!

Astral (Future) Wind Experience!

It was just a normal astral projection after willing myself out of my body by disorientating myself.
I went out of my room and out the front door and started making my way down my street. All was normal until a force took hold of me. I could not go against the force. It slowly started drifting me backwards on an angle, and back through my house. It started to pick up more force and speed and started to take me higher into the air. What happened next, words are hard to describe.

I kept going up higher and kept going faster and faster and faster. Soon enough, I realised I was being ripped out of this atmosphere at what I can only describe as 'warp speed'. It felt incredible! As I was being whipped out of earth, I could see it disappear as I was too far away to see it. I was being carried through space at an amazing pace being flown past what I was desribe as dream pools. There were pools of events happening in pockets of space in the middle of nowhere (very hard to describe).

The force came to a sudden hault. It stopped me around 100m above a town. This town looked very systematic with most houses looking the same. The one thing that caught my eye, was that for every house, there was about 3 large poles next to them with what looked like solar panels on top. I was then brought back to my body.

I have had the exact same experience one other time. This time I was stopped outside a house at night and this house had its light on. I went inside the house to be in a lounge room. There was a stuffed bunny knitting a number on itselt (I think the number was 1868). When the bunny saw me, it looked shocked and stunned and stopped knitting. Then I noticed the TV was on, in black and white, with a
'big band playing'. I was then brought back to my body.

I only realised these were future winds after reading Roberts Bruces information on the net.
I still don't know what symbolism meant. Apparently it could take years for it to come. I will be extremely excited if one of these future winds shows signs in the future. For me, the astral wind was one more of a validation that astral projection is alot more than just some crazy dream for me.

I agree with Stookie, the easiest exit ever having something else pull you out! haha good stuff. I too heard a voice talking to me the first time I got out! ...but haven't heard that particular voice since.

IMO The whole voice thing and having something pulling you out might of really scared the crap out of you and the reason why you weren't able to go further. But hey 3 time in one night... you'll be there in no time! Just go with the flow

Tvos,

I would have to agree with you, I was able to project quite consistantly (around once a week) when I was first introduced to astral projection and back then, I had the desire, passion and the conviction that you speak of. Now these days, I'm lucky to have one every two months with lack of desire I guess.

I was hoping trying something new will help me back on the ball. I will try it over the next few days and will lets you guys know if I have any luck!  :-)

I bought some mugwort from this herbal shop today to help aid me in astral projection.
Apparently you drink it in tea and for an extra effect, place it under your pillow.

Just wondering if you have tried it? ...and if you have, how did it go for you?

I know how you feel, had the same trouble quite a few times... and I know it's a real B##ch! It's hard to get out once in that stage but you can do it...

I remember once when it felt like plastic was wrapped around me... I had to kick through it to get out! and another time I dragged the sheets with me through the house!

Just remember not to freak out and try focusing hard and try gliding through it... I'm sure you'll find what works for you

Cheers,

Well done Selski!

Haha I'm also into the habit of asking the awkard question of 'where are we' to people but always get a response of a name that doesnt mean anything to me and so find it very hard to remember/ to slack to write it down as soon as i wake. You have very good memory to remember colours and names.... maybe I should start to be a good projector and start writing down expirences straight away once woken to remember properly!

but yeh good stuff, must have been exciting finding Lithuania and the flag on the net

interesting how you see swirls when focusing on you 3rd eye

I too see swirls that spin around right infront of me but these are always dark and blackish looking. When I project, sometimes the swirls are there and I am able to see them feel them and hear them.... wierd but i have no idea what it is

Hey Tvos,

around 60% where I am sleeping (usually at my house where i have lived for the last 2 years)
30% at my home town (where i was for 18 years)
and the other 10% at totally random places and houses that I do not recognise

Great Thread Skeletor- I'm looking to improve my OOB skills as well, as they are not that fantastic atm.

My flying skills aren't the most controlled but I can more often than not go for a fair distance.

I've found that flying can take a lot of focus to actually get of the ground. I usually go for the run up and jump with arms and legs out straight and imagine urself taking off. Try doing a sharp turn and tilting to your side while in the air and imagine the 'wind' picking you up. Practice makes perfect, just keep going at it

Hey Mjolnir Knight,

I know what you mean by the beauty of the astral sky! Your experience sounds fairly similar except you were taking straight back to where you were. It seems like people must lose much of their energy from such fast speeds, or lose their ability to stay focused maybe?

It's great to hear other ppl's experiences... keep them coming!  :-)

Hey Vvid1012!

Woah! Thats amazing! It's freaky enough being taken off the planet at like 100 times the speed of light, but going through the ground? That really would have shakened me up, I know what you mean by telling yourself 'it's ok' 'just go with it' 'enjoy the ride' otherwise you would be quick smart back to your body!

mmmm, I only spent a short time at my destinations aswell, it felt about 20 seconds at each location and then I was back to my body...

Thanks for sharing the experience, very interesting!  :-)

Hey WindGod!

That sounds like an awsome experience! ....and Kitesurfing would be an awsome sport.

These winds that I have experienced aren't like the normal winds you would experience on the physical.... there is no noise, no things blowing around you but just a force that has hold of you and makes you travel very very very fast!

...However, if you are into kitesurfing... you would love this

Hey Guys! - Been very interested in Astral Winds after having a couple in the past few months....

Here's the first one:
- normal projection, minding my own buisness until a force takes over me and starts drifting me bawarks!
It kept picking up the past to so fast words can't decribe... it was unbelievable!

It took me into the air to what felt like space, wizzing past things that I can only decribe as 'dream pools' like a big mass of things in middle of space...

Then I slowed down and was stopped at a certain location... about 300m above the ground, below me was a town packed with houses that all looked similar to each other and for every house, there was about 4 large poles located near them with solar panel looking things on top! ...then i went back to my body

Second Trip
Exact same thing happened but this time was taken to a house. It was dark and this house had a light on... I went in and into the lounge room, here there was a stuffed white bunny rabbit that was knitting on itself "1854" ..i think that was the number it was knitting

It was stunned to see me and looked shocked in horrer and froze! and as this happened i noticed a black and white tv was on with a 'big band' playing trumpets and stuff and i could hear this music.... then went back to my body

Apparently these experiences can be signs of the future... and I think mine were heavily symbolic!

Can you guys read any possible information from these experiences? any input would be greatly appreciated!
...and I would love to hear any of your astral wind experiences as I couldn't find any past posts on the topic!

Cheers, Warner

I've heard from alot of people that midday naps can really do the trick!

I'm a big fan of naps but have had only a couple of OBE during one.

One time I was on a bus full of people going back home and I was that tired I managed to have OBE with dozens of people within metres of me with music blasting in my ears!

As long as you are relaxed enough during the day, A nap could be just the thing for you to project
#20
Quote from: kiwibongaThe problem with API is that you need to be careful not to create your own copy of it, you need to go to the one that everyone else goes to -- pretty much the only difficulty besides the usual OBE "issues."

As for not being able to go through walls, "Earth-sickness syndrome" (i.e. psychological blocks that occur when you are too used to gravity, etc...) doesn't seem to be the only issue, there are energetic issues as well which could potentially prevent you from going through certain materials. The etheric is exactly between the astral and the physical, and if you "go low enough," other humans can see you, etc.. So it's very plausible that some people have trouble staying on a vibratory level high enough that they can exist in the same location as physical matter without causing disruption.

.

I can definitely relate to that Kiwi!

I know I can go through doors and have had many expierences doing just that.... but sometimes I just seem way more dense than other times... I think I'm about to go through the door, then "BANG" ...I bounce right back and just use the handle instead

Same thing happens when trying to go through sheets that are covering me... I once had to 'kick' through it to get out and had no idea what it was at the time, it felt more like plastic
#21
Yeh I agree, the trance stage can be extremely wierd.... the thing is, What I see during these expierences is what I see every day during the day (but more it's more visual at night) and it always seems to be around me
#22
Yeh same here.. When I project, I would do it about 2 times that night plus I would also have atleast 1 or 2 LD's

Same thing for SP, I don't get it often, but if I do, I have it atleast 4 times that night
#23
longer breaks seems to do the job for me.. I don't intentionally get up though... I usually have a nap around 5-6pm then wake up 8pm then go bed at about 2-3am..

...and I know exactly what you mean by 'feel that state coming on so much quicker' !

Although waking for a few minutes (unintentionally) in the middle of the night sometimes has the same effect for me too
#24
Hey guys, I'm new to this forum... I've been projecting about twice a week for the last 6 months now...

After I first started projecting I noticed, at night time especially, that there is a black thing that constantly spins in an orbit in front of my face!

It didn't bother me until one night while in sleep paralysis, it was there and this time I could feel it brush wind over me, I could feel it brush up against my head as I put my head into it and a moment later I felt a painful spike penetrate my back in the lumbar region!

Last night, I could just see it while I was in my physical body, but as soon as I seperated from my body (I have distinct sensation of seperations) I could also feel it blow wind over me and brush up against my head. At the same time I was being pulled out of my body and having sort of a massage done on my back lol! When I came back to the physical, I could  see it and no longer feel it there.

Does anyone here have any idea what it could be??

Any help would be great guys
