Welcome to Dreams! / Zombies

Thanks for your replies!

It's funny how dreams really tell the truth about the issues that control your life at a certain point. The bit runlola summitted is very true. I met this girl and I was ready to fall in love with her, but it didn't work out. I think that is what caused the zombie dreams.

Can anyone tell me what zombies in dreams mean? I've had two recent zombie dreams and I've never had them before. I'm being chased by them. In the first dream I am able to beat them, but in the second dream the world is doomed because the zombie army has grown too large.

Thx

I learned how to moonwalk during a dream.

And it was in a dream that I got to know the idea that deja vu's are in fact (parts of) dreams.

Quote from: SSJPunisherYou guys have just reminded me about my theory. I call it the "Matrix Input Theory (TA DA lol)" well, in this theory, i explain that if we can learn in our dreams, and we have the ability to astral project, couldnt we like learn martial arts in the astral  and come back in our body and have the information how to do the skills in our heads??

Oh yeah, after seeing the Matrix and having this Moonwalk dream (and also reading a lot about everything) I do believe that this is possible. A while ago I came across this:

"For years, a 42-year old male nurse dreamt of a situation in which he was hooked up to a kind of knowledge CD-ROM. Verifiable knowledge from all imaginable fields was then transmitted to him that he was able to recall in the morning. There was such a flood of information that it seemed a whole encyclopedia was transmitted at night. The majorities of facts were outside his personal knowledge base and reached technical details of which he knew absolutely nothing. When hyper-communication occurs, one can observe in the DNA, as well as in the human, supernatural phenomena."

Yep! That's what I've heard a lot about musicians. Do you read/write music? If you don't, if it were me I would look into that. Or else have a tape recorder by my bed to record the tune by humming or singing.

I like music a lot and I've been trying to download a good computerprogram to make music. No luck so far, so I guess I should buy one  :)
It's just that I have so much going on in my life right now. I've got all these things I want to try and I've got all these books I want to read..
But you're right, I should look into making music. Thanks.

Or maybe I should become a movie director, because I have a lot of chase dreams and these are so incredibly exciting from time to time, I think some of them would make a great movie!

Quote from: wispTony M,
Your ability is amazing! There have been many people who recognize and remember their dreams, and have applied what they learned toward success in life. Keep up on your gift!  :D

Yeah I know! I was thinking of that a while ago, because I had this dream in which people were (freestyle?) rapping. In the dream I was amazed how good this rap song was (never heard it before in real life). I wish I could remember how the song went, because I think it would be a hit-song if I would release it :D

I forgot about this other dream:

I was dreaming I was at work and some regular things happened. Then the sequence ended but it started all over again. Then after a few steps I realized I had just dreamed this the same way it was happening now (still dreaming at this point). Then I realized I had a deja vu during a dream. Right after that I woke up and I just KNEW I had just discovered something about dreams and deja vu's. I didn't know exactly what, but there had to be a link because this dream really had some sort of meaning. I just knew it had a meaning because of the profound feeling I had after waking up.

That afternoon I went on the internet and searched on "deja vu" and "dreaming". It was after that I found this new theory about deja vu's being part of dreams. I always thougt deja vu's were signals in the brain that weren't transmitted correctly. Now I believe this other theory is true. I now think that deja vu's are precog-dreams that you recognize in real life. There are a lot of people that have experienced this and I believe I had one of them (can't tell for sure).

I can't stop wondering why this link between dreaming and deja vu's was brought to light in one of my dreams.... strange...

A few years ago, I learned how to moonwalk. I learned this in a dream. In real life, I never had a clue about how to moonwalk. I just tried to move my legs in a stupid way and I never came close to figuring out how to moonwalk. Until that one dream.

It was a very clear dream and I was just moonwalking and I really felt the way you should use your body. After that, moonwalking in real life was quickly learned. I knew what to do, how to use my body, because of the dream...

Has anyone here experienced something like this?

This story is too long.

I did like the part about Megatron. Made me think about the days Transformers were cool.

I read somewhere that snails only experience a third of a second in a second. They have another perception of time. We see them as slow but the snails themselves experience it as fast.

Maybe the perception of time depends on what age a species can reach. It could be that ants for example experience their months the same as we experience years.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dream interpretation
November 07, 2004, 14:21:39
Maybe somebody can help me with this.

For years now I've been having dreams in which I'm escaping from something or someone. These are not scary dreams, but they are more adventurous, although sometimes I wake up sweating.

These dreams are the red line in my dream life for maybe 5 years now (maybe even longer).
I'm escaping from the police, I'm in car chases, I'm being chased by groups of people or even orcs (Lord of the Rings), I'm fleeing becaused I committed a murder or because I robbed a bank.

What can this all mean?

I've got a question for the people who live in the now. Do you also get a lot of "flashbacks" of beautiful dreams you had? I'm getting more and more of these flashbacks when I live more and more in the now.

And also, aren't dreams so nice because in a dream you are living in the now?

I found this site on the internet and I was wondering if people here were also experiencing these symptons of our Awakening Divinity.

I can relate to each symptom. Not evenly intense to all, but still..

Your thoughts please..

Welcome to Dreams! / Awakening Divinity

Has anyone here been experiencing these things? I know I have. They are supposed to be signs of our awakening divinity
http://www.phoenixascended.org/aoi/shaumbrasymptoms.html

6. Unusual sleep patterns. It's likely that you'll awaken many nights between 2:00?4:00 a.m. There's a lot of work going on within you, and it often causes you to wake up for a "breather." Not to worry. If you can't go back to sleep, get up and do something rather than lay in bed and worry about humanly things. This too shall pass.

7. Intense dreams. These might include war and battle dreams, chase dreams or monster dreams. You are literally releasing the old energy within, and these energies of the past are often symbolized as wars, running to escape and boogeyman. This too shall pass.

Greets,

Tony

Had to choose a subject to write about for a school assignment and I like to know what you guys think of it.

Happiness

Being happy is the most universal goal in life. Everyone wants to be happy. The goal of mankind can not be to feel unhappy because then extinction would be the solution. Still there are people in the world that are not happy, even in the western world, where for most of the people primary living conditions are at a high standard. For a lot of people life is an endless quest in search of happiness. Even when happiness is found, it appears to be very fragile and can disappear in an instant.

I myself have also always searched for happiness. Not that I was unhappy, but when you don't experience a feeling of happiness every day, doesn't this mean that you are unhappy? This because you know you are missing something and you don't know how to obtain it. Often people think they know how to become happy. Happiness is then linked with material things like money or a partner. We have all been raised in a consumer-society in which the material has obtained a high status. We are inclined to think "when I have this and this and that, then I'll be happy". This also was my point of view, but still I've always known that something wasn't right about this.

Now I'm at the point at which I was influenced by other people, concerning the term "happiness". The people who I've been influenced by are Anthony Robbins, Joseph Murphy and Carolina Bont. They've shown me that it is not that hard to be (intensely) happy. Happiness is a feeling, just as pain is. Pain is easy to experience so why shouldn't happiness be? Happiness is, what I think, a feeling that is always present in us from the day we were born. When we are a baby, aren't we constantly happy as long as we have food, sleep, clean dipers, toys and attention (primary living conditions)? The problem appears when we obtain the skill to think. It's not the thinking itself that makes us unhappy, but the way we think which can be divided in two parts: positive and negative. Positive thinking will bring happiness and negative thinking the opposite. In almost every human both ways of thinking exist, so my thought is that the relation between those to can have an effect on the level of happiness of a person.
What is written above is acknowledged by a research done by psychologist Martin Seligman: "external factors only have an 8 to 15% influence on our experience of happiness". Whether these numbers are correct, it points out to me that the internal factors are the most important.

Then also, in our society we are brought up with the idea that we should ignore our feelings and should only listen to our reasoning mind. This when our subconscious made us happy when we were a baby. And isn't this the same with a lot of mentally challenged people who seem to enjoy life much more than normal people, as long as they are not confronted with their fears? Fear is the biggest enemy of happiness. People have so many fears that don't really serve a purpose. We were born with only a few fears which support our selfpreservation, like the fear of falling of the fear of loud noises. All other fears do not support us and lead us of the track of happiness. That's why positive thinking should be normal in all situations. Further, I do have to say that there are a lot of different views on what happiness is and this is just mine (for now).

In the end I think you can say: A situation of unhappiness comes forth out of missing happiness. It is a situation that is derived (hope I translated that right) from happiness.  While happiness is the original structure of a human, unhappiness is one of the ways to experience that.

I read in this book that some cheese or a glass of hot milk before going to sleep will increase your overall dream activity during a night. This has actually been proven scientifically.

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / Bats and OBE
January 15, 2004, 15:34:24
I'm reading this book on dreaming. It's both very scientific and philosophical. It also mentioned something about bats which seem to have reacted to people that were OBE-ing. The bat's radar is said to have picked up the non-physical body of a person while he or she was OBE-ing. Has anyone heard something on this subject or..?

January 09, 2004, 17:13:52
Scientists predicted that in 2050 at least 15% of all species will be extinct and 35% at the worst, due to global warming. Now, this may not be a subject that belongs here but it is some sort of a prophecy so..

I'm not attacking americans but I am attacking the american government because they didn't sign the Kyoto treaty.

I'd like to hear your opinion on this.

Is God a male or a female? Why is he portrait in the bible as a male?
This question makes it clear to me that the bible was written by people who didn't know what they were talking about. If there is a God I think we can all agree that he or she has to have no gender or two genders because. God never lived on earth and never had to reproduce physically. He would not look like us.

But why is he than portrait as a man? The people who wrote the bible and portrait him as a man were short-sighted. Men were supreme in those days and that's why God is a man. If they were really intellectual they should have known better. They should have known that men and women are equal. How can one live by a book that is written by these people? They forgot one of the most fundamental things: everyone is equal. Think about that.

Welcome to Dreams! / Dream experiment
January 05, 2004, 19:59:53
A while ago I read a post here in which two people were discussing a dream experiment. I thought it was very interesting and want to try it as well with someone. It goes like this (I think): Give me your name and place where you life and I will ask in a (lucid)dream to give me the name of your mother or father. The other one will do the same thing with me..

Let me know if you're interested.
