Wow. Amazing. I just found out about Astral Projection a few months ago, and I can hardly believe it. I grew up Christian so this was all stuff I never even heard about or if I did I was told it was evil and of the devil. I have recently had what you might call a "spiritual awakening" and have come out of my religion and no longer consider myself a Christian (although I will always follow the way of Christ, but Christianity is quite opposite of that unfortunately), so this whole world is brand new to me and its very exciting. I can't believe that AP isn't talked about or practiced more. It's actually too good to be true. You'd think everyone would want to be trying this stuff. Needless to say, I can't wait until my first full blown OBE experience!!
Have fun :)
Yes, very spot on about christ and christianity:
Christ: 'I am the way' = Be the way I am

You're interpreting that correctly.
Per Tom, if you become a liability to the system in that you simply refuse, time and time again, to grow spiritually... the system can choose to remove you from the game.
What point is there is allowing a consciousness to continue when it has so much fear within it that growth simply isn't an option anymore?

The question is... why does this not sit well with you?
Goes against everything I learned (from bashar etc.)

You exit, and you can not go into non existance because that, per definition doesn't exist.

YES! I once got dragged through a fractal type scene.. as if outside all dimensions. Just out of interest...what colours or features did you see?
Something like that, but darker and the colours were dark green/purple and dark red as far as I remember.

How did the experience feel?

time works differently for them, so they could have just died and it will seem like a second ago for them while it's half a year here.

My philosophy on the Astral is this: Treat it with the utmost respect. I consider myself a guest there and as such I try to come more as an observer/explorer and not disturb things or entities there in a destructive way. Part of the reason is that when I make it there, it's an incredibly real world, mind-boggling. I really feel obligated to take it seriously, and it's important to treat it that way so I am really careful there.

But of course if the entities there are O.K. with whatever I want to do, then I do it. Sometimes it's not even my idea anyway.

This morning I got out and into a big city. As I walked down the street passing lots of people, I looked at each person's face really closely, marveling at the level of perfect detail in each one and comparing them in my mind to what people look like in the physical world. Wondering how that level of realness is even possible. My advice is: If you want it be real, treat it that way.
That last is good advice, thank you.

And I know all is one, you are me and I am you. I had some crazy experiences with this on shrooms

As far as the de-calcification goes... Chocolate has a lot a magnesium in it.
Magnesium does help your body to absorb calcium as needed. If you don't get enough magnesium
along with the calcium, the calcium will get stuck in all sorts of places where it shouldn't be...like the pineal
gland !

Otherwise..this sounds like an excuse to eat to much junk food...."Oh I have to eat all this chocolate and pizza
because I'm working on going out of body..."

Raw cacao is good for you yes..but its all the sugar and dairy in it that's not. And ALL dairy is bad for you...
Did you know that in a study of autopsies, they found that people had an average of 15 to 30 POUNDS of dairy sludge
in their intestines ? Yuck, right ? Name one species other than humans who eat any kind of milk after being weaned...

I believe this guy 100%, so I am just going to quote this. I am not saying your wrong but check his first response: about milking causing cancer.

'It isn't the milk, it's the toxins.'

Fusions, let me give you a new perspective.
Why does it matter if someone/thing you've experienced came from within or without?

Instead, ask yourself "did I learn or gain anything from the experience?"

That is all that is important.
Well, If I am lucid and I knew it was all created from my subconscious or what ever, the entities there are not really 'alive'. I woudn't think twice about grabbing a girl and having sex with here, but I don't want to astrally rape someone. Even though all the sex I had till now was mutual anyways.

Maybe the focus level "map" of the Monroe Institute might help you. It is just a map (and not the landscape itself) but it provides some good overview and conceptualisation anyway.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focus_level

http://www.monroeinstitute.org/resources/overview-of-focus-levels

Yes, there are 'private' areas which are somehow related to your dream world ("dream plane") in the astral / NPR. But there are on "higher" levels the collective areas which are also created by thought (because this is what we do, even down here) but by a collective and hence much more 'stable'. E.g. there's a library where I once was. Pretty stable and "physical".

As you can see there in the focus level descriptions, the Christian heaven is one of the Belief System Territories, it is surely a good place to be but not the only one, there are many, not all are religious btw.

Here's a more detailed view, too:

http://www.trufax.org/matrix5/segments/gradients.html

Have fun exploring (for yourself!).  :-)

(ps: as regards some 'evidence' about OBEs please see als my signature and the link there)
OP, why don't you just project and explore the non physical created by the loving infinite creator ;)

Lets make a list, I'll start:
- Talking and feeling the lost of someone who passed
- Flying
- Having sex
- Talking to other beings
- Visiting Heavens/Higher planes (No experience of this yet, also feel free to post here if you have http://www.astralpulse.com/forums/welcome_to_out_of_body_experiences/visiting_higher_heaven_like_astral_planes-t44085.0.html )
- Taking drugs, psychedelics etc. (no experience either of this yet but planning on doing so)

Bashar's opinion about this, case closed imo, it has everything to do with your beliefs.

This reminds me of woman who was doing work to protect people from radiation from devices, Bashar's reply:
If you don't believe this things can effect you they won't.

When dreaming or OOB, how do you know if you are interacting with a self created (subconscious dreamland/dreamfigures) or when you are in the astral with real conscious entities?
People have reported shared lucid dreams so it's definitely possible ofcourse.

And how does it work with being fully in control (like when you have the ability to change the whole dream at will), when you are dealing with seperate entities.

Maybe Mooji on youtube can help. Therapy or truth is a good video for instance.
To whom does the baggage belong?

Many people report their OBEs last 15-20 seconds. Many people report that their LDs last the same time.

During a OBE/AP you are experiencing a NP (Non Physical Reality/Realm). During a LD you are also experiencing a NPR. Once again the same.

You can control your actions and reactions in a OBE/AP. You can control your actions and reactions in a LD as well.

Once again the same. Conclusions!   :-)

You just need to work on heightening your awareness. Grounding and Anchoring yourself there will help.
Really? so short? My thought would be 5min to 15/20min?

Fusions, I can't see the pic.
google fractals and you will get the picture
#116
Fractals are infinite patterns that are everywhere in nature

I once experienced this sort of picture to fall into when I woke up in  the middle of the night, but I was scared of the infinity so I didn't let go.

And a few nights ago I experienced another fractal like tunnel with babies faces in it (while dreaming), which was fun, to fall into a walrus with african babies and Jesus, which was weird and I woke up.

Emotions will interfere with your experience. They're possibly the third most significant reason for an unwanted return to the physical.
Think about your immediate thoughts once you return.
These too are emotional lol.
It's that 'why did I do that.... aaagh' thought you have.
Slow down and think  ' I'm an observer only here to witness the goings on'.
Then you can deepen your stance by feeling local things ect so you become fully phased into the environment.
It's easy to say, remembering it works better with the correct mindset will greatly extend your time within the experience. At times you become almost cold and calculating in order to finish a test or retrieval for example. This is accepted as normal in some 'places', they already know of and expect travellers to visit.
You then do as they do, until your talent is required.
That's when the fun starts...

And that's when I like to hear more :D

(you have a blog post about this already?)

For experienced projectors: have you ever actually asked anyone like spirit guides or whatever in the astral if what you are experiencing is real and not just all in the mind? what sort of responses and info did you get back.
Reminds me of this guy on www.reddit.com/r/luciddreaming who asked this to a being/or dream character when lucid:
You know this is a dream right?
- Yes
Are you going to disappear when I wake up?
-When you are calling someone and you hang up the phone, is the other person you are calling gone?

Oh and another one from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows:

"Of course it is happening inside your head, Harry, but why on earth should that mean that it is not real?"

I like this guy, calls himself an astral projection specialist. In this video he talks about visiting higher astral planes, he got the idea from a spiritual movement that is named Eckankar.

And here is more info about Eckankar

Do discuss and please share your most blissful, beautiful, loving astral experience you have ever had.

That's definitely my experience as well.  It seems to be some kind of "inbetween"... kind of like, as Tom Campbell would say, you are shifting between data streams, and the blackness is the lack of a data stream between data streams.
When you say it like this, it sounds so golden.
This whole NPR is just one big ('secret') gold mine.

To build a bit upon what Szaxx said...

People BELIEVE there is a difference between the two experiences because they do FEEL differently.

The difference between a lucid and astral awareness experience is the same "level" as the difference between a dream and a lucid awareness experience.
When you gain enough awareness to simply realize you're dreaming, you still might not really remember much about *YOU*... the experience "clears up" slightly.  Now "clears up" is really a horrible way to describe it, but that's all I can think of right now.
When you gain MORE awareness, up to the point when you have the same kind of awareness that you have while you're physically awake (I call this a "waking awareness"), then things "clear up" even more and the experience feels even more different and removed from a "dream".
Alright, because I have LD dreams where I am not that much in control and cannot fly and am still very much 'in' the story.

More boring than I thought it would be.
But then, it was an experience which only lasted roughly a minute when I got there.

Most physical reality locations are boring... which is why I don't usually enjoy hanging out "here" while non-physical.
Can you elaborate? Woudnt it be stunning, of how big it would be?
Or impossible to watch due to the size.

That's probably because you didn't have your full waking awareness.  When you have that, I call it an astral awareness, it simply blows everything else out of the water.  :-)
Can you tell us about the differences?

In this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhrZRFOZnDc
A man doesn't fully understand he is an eternal being

Bashar thinks he needs an ego to fully understand he will always exists.
He asks how; "Ask for it, and it will be given to you"
So I did.
Now I will wait for results, days, months, years and I will report back.

Who's in. :)
