There are so many great threads that can help you in knowledge and tips to get the best experience while ob. A good way to start is to use the search option and read past threads.If you can gain a good foundation and know what to expect it will be much earsier in the long run. I found Donna's post and tried it and had great results eg at the end of the tunnel I saw a bright light, like a beacon shine from left to right it was so bright  I had to blink my eyes.I haven't done all the ground work that she has and couldn't move all the way down the tunnel to arrive at the location. but you guys can see through your eye lids so all you have to do either think of floating up or a location you want to be at or even just sit up as you would normaly do. Try everything your own way so you know what works for you. I can see your point of view sometimes!... but I wouldn't keep it as it's a no win situation for all concerned. when I first posted I asked for replys defined by my own expectations..I imposed rules on others on what I wanted to hear and was a bit rude when it fell short. I learnt quickly that this was wrong of me and I was very lucky to get any replys at all. These forums are open for anyone to reply to so you can't get angery if someone jumps in with there opinion, if you want a private chat use the the option for it. I can see just from this thread that we are all going round in circles hence the no win out come. It's not wrong to express an opinion differing from others but it is tragic when confusion and ego clouds the mind. Wrong words were obviously used by ppl but there are no sides, we are all on the same side in laymans terms.
Getting back to your oringal post in hindsight you could have used the search option and read past post to answer many of your questions then implemented that knowledge and then posted for help with those experiences there by giving all concerned a clear path to grow in knowledge for the best possible out come. For whats it's worth I think we all have learnt something from all this but that 'something' is up to the indivdual to realise. IMO[]

This is what I love about these forums you get to put in your two cents and collectively we learn something new and grow from it.[]
scientist have defined what the mind creacts eg dreams, imagination, Hypnagogic imagery (-hallucinations). It's hard to seperate all these because as we go through the different stages to AP/obe we are using and encountering most of them. But when we are obe we are using words not really defined under science.  Kalonek  cool idea about new wording. Maybe sole sight when we're obe !

I might be wrong but there are a few differents with astral vision, OBE sight and  hypnogogic imagery. I'll try and explain with my experiences and opinion but note the above diclaimer.
Astral vision which I get often while attempting to project is were a moving picture opens in the black void behind closed eye lids not a dream but a tunnel forms and at the end is a crystal clear 'live' location, the tunnel is surounded by shifting clouds of colours or what I think is the dream/hypnogic imagery and it's here that the mind dwells but if you can move your consciousness down the tunnel your AP/obe. Obe vision for me is as clear if not clearer than the physical, but I have only awakened in obe to experience this sight, the times I have had conscious seperations I couldn't or didn't open my 'eyes' (with two exceptions, seeing my own aura from within) but that's all my opinion and  I'm still learning  everytime I log on. I am great at visualisation but there is no comparison to the real thing IMO []
Let me know what you all think so I can stand corrected and not delude myself []

This might be off topic but didn't a group of scientists prove the existances of a persons sole/spirit by weighing a person as they died. From  memory they could calculated the percise weight of the spirit as the dead body was lighter after death. As I said it's a bit off topic and off in general.  I wish I could refer to a written account but someone else would know more about it and being a scientific analyses it should convince their own associates of the spirit and give scope to further studies.Maybe even weigh a person before and during an obe ?

Sounds like classic OB vision to me. Your lucky  in a way because it would be easyer for you to sit up in astral form because you now know your obe. Where as others like myself move or roll to test if we are when attempting to project

I had to travel for a week, it  turned out to be only a couple of days (missed the little ones). I'm back now but in that time I missed out on so much. I can symparthize with you as my wife would often roll over and cuddle me during the night just as I'm about to exit or come into the room for some reason while practising. We also have a baby in a cot sleeping in our room who thinks it great fun to wake up just as I'm attempting to project. It's a conspiracy to stop me I often grumble but it's great to read of other ppl's attemtps in the face of reality  thanks Nay for sharing []

If you go to properties on your internet browser, in Advanced you can disable all sounds on web pagers so  'sound files' wont load as you surf. I hope that fixs the lack of memory causing the crash/ freezing.

I was asleep but my wife woke me because she won a thousand dollors on a 'big brother' tv phone in competition, Thats a mouthful lol. it's 3:30am now I guess I got hooked on the forums again. I hope you get a scanner soon!!  I don't know why I thought you had one that wasn't working....like mine. Astral pulse is evolving, that was  a forum heading somewere  I think. It's so easy to wonder through the domain we call Astral pulse  having some pictures of dreams and AP/obe experiences would be fanastic it would add that extra depth. The 'astral location' forum could become more than words as we could associate some reality with real obe visions, astral planescape (new word?lol). but I'm not sure how it could be done, I couldn't even upload one picture let alone incorporate the the necessary elements to give it understanding, life. lucky me because I'm introverted and see the forums as pictures, adding life and persona to every post I read, imagination is a wonderful paint brush.
I'm on the other side of the world so I'm writing this as you sleep.
