welcome..........i feel weird saying that because i am also new here.i am also a beginner at trying to control the astral experience, but i am very aggressive at my trials, and if i find anything that i think might help anyone, i will definately post it here.

this is like the "aliens" issue...... if they are real, this subject alone would freak out more than 3/4 of the world to the point where most governments wouldnt have control of their people anymore.


think about this............most countries on this planet are either ruled by the prominent religion in their area or based directly on religous beliefs for their particular laws, etc.  the reality of life besides us in this vast universe would instantly make most people throw out everything they learned about their respective religion. and people neeeeeeeed something to believe in. take away their main motivating force in their lives and what do you get?   one hell of an every man for themselves society!

  well put and i have read various books mentioning the 10th planet.
if its there and is headed our way, the only way we are going to hear about it is on the web. it will skrew up our planet so bad when it passes near us that 95-98% of the people are going to die from the magnetic pole shifting, extreme weather changes, mass hysteria, religous hysteria, and other social breakdowns. the government knows this and there is nothing they can do about it. they would never admit to any major world catastrophy. they would lose their power to control us instantly.

and if it is, head for the most unpopulated place that u can find. it wont save us from the natural disasters, but it will save us from the crazy people that will arise from the situation.

i havent gone to the web site but i think you have touched on an interesting subject.  i have a feeling we wind up in our own personally created hells.  and if thats true, im probably going to a hell filled with worms.

i have not heard of it before but does anyone think that messing with astral travel opens us up to vulnerability to this kind of thing?

i read a book on the remote viewers of the military and some of the individuals said they would get pulled into the ether in the middle of driving or whatever. i know i shouldnt believe everything i read, but at some point you have to take peoples word on certain issues. especially ones that we are novices at.

sorry i never replied and said thanks for the input. i just finished RB's book Astral Dynamics and i am slowly experimenting in what i think is the righht direction. the jumping off of buildings thing does seem to help get me used to the separation process, but i have still not separated. i actually feel like i partially separated but i was only about an inch away from my body and i dont think this really counts as an obe.

i guess thats what i meant when i said offenceive style.......you use the opponents body against himself, but the whole purpose is to stop the opponent as quickly as possible, i.e. break something.that doesnt seem defensive. you could just as easily throw him to the ground a couple of times without altering their lifestyle for a couple of weeks or for life. if you break something the right way, it will never be the same again.

very true, very true. while it would be neat to have such close access to the astral zones, without any control over it, it probably would make you mad.

i am just starting to learn what the weird things are that are happening to me, i.e. vibrations that feel like electric shocks, severe falling sensations, etc. but since i have started to try to control things and have a conscious obe, i have only been able to experience the most cool lucid dreams. sorry to babble.  but i have been flying in them. i have always wanted to control a flying dream and have not had one in 10 or more years. but since my experiments, i have had over 10 flying lucid dreams. THEY ARE INTENSE!!  and just about the coolest thing in the world. i cant seem to do anything else except fly when these things start. my mind wont seem to center on anything else, but at the same time i cant complain. it feels so liberating and exhilerating(sp).

i have never felt so free before.

if the obe fells anything like this or better, i cant wait.

Tom, i like your idea of the stock market, it porbably would pan out better.


Hephaestus, the records sound like a neutral place just recording events, i cant see how your intent has anything to do with your access. i could get info that shows me the murderer of my kids and use that to get revenge on him, and this would be a "balancing" event according to karmic laws, but that would not negate the fact that i just did something bad.(I hope people realise my kids arent dead, this was just hypothetical.)


Themadness, why is it wrong to have personal gain out of something like this? who is to say i wouldnt do something grandois with the money?  I do happen to agree with whoever said that much money probably would corrupt me, but it is an interesting thought to think of all the good i could do with it. Like this website for example. this wonderful forum is brought to us without one cent out of our pockets and i think that it is one of the greatest sources of info for all my weird questions about my new views on life. With all that money i could start something like this.

sure i could spend the money on me and mine, but i like to think i have also matured enough to see that the money would never bring me true happiness.

I also happen to think that people that play the lottery are fools and the winners of the lottery are actually more cursed than blessed.

i guess it is contradictary but i find that free time is one of the hardest things for me to achieve. i have three kids and my wife works nights so i am mr.mom and i dont get much time to myself. i cant find time to dedicate to meditation or working on my energy balances to achieve an astral travel. the only time i get to work on these things is on my lunch hour. and as you can tell, that isnt much time at all. i am not whining, i just am very excited about this obe thing and am very anxious to achieve my first one.


also, i am going to play devils advocate here and ask why is it wrong to get the winning lottery numbers to better yourself?

if you had forewarning about impending personal or close family disaster, wouldnt you use the information from the akashic records to "better" yourself and do whatever you could to avoid said disaster?

 Akido may not be the oneness you are thinking. I am not a pro, but i also looked into the martial arts and was told that akido is more of an offence style. I am not sure this will bring you into a more peaceful type of mind. But again I am not sure......come to think of it, i was told this by the teacher of another style, he could of been bad mouthing the other style.

YOU, ME, THE AIR WE BREATHE THE AIR IN THE SPACE BETWEEN US, EVERYTHING!!!! IT IS THE EXACT SAME.... THUS THEY (QUANTUM SCIENTISTS) ARE THEORIZING THAT THINGS LIKE TELEPATHY, TELEKINETICS, AND EVEN TELEPORTATIION IS POSSIBLE.
