I'm a big supporter of people "working" less and enjoying life more.  We have the technology today whereby most people shouldn't have to work anymore and everyone should be living a much better quality of life than we are today.

Awwww I wanna be kidnapped by that giant now!!  Sounds fun!

haha I doubt you're gonna get a reply... this thread was over 20 years ago.  I love that we have this kind of history here on the Pulse though.   

I do wish some of the old members would come back.  I loved reading all the old posts.  I'm sure there are tons I've missed too.  hehe

If I may I would like to use Xanth's story to point something out. It appears that at the moment of the breakdown, Xanth you knew that you were done with this. One way or another you knew that it was ending and you could go no further. And knowing supersedes believing. Knowing is absolute in the moment of manifestation.

I couldn't have put it any better myself. 

Story time! 

Ten years ago I used to work in downtown Toronto for an Interior Design firm.  I was the office administrator.

Long story short, the owner of the company was a psychopath... I managed to stick it out there for a couple years.  Obviously, I started to look for a new job.  It wasn't until I had a complete breakdown in the bathroom one day when I pleaded for the universe to help or I don't know what I would have done.  I even pleaded to a god.  Those who know me know how "not me" that is. 

Anyway, my pleas of help were answered a short time later when I got the job I currently have.  It saved my sanity.  I can only assume that the intense Intent I put out into the universe was being listened to... and for that, I am eternally grateful.

T-Man I checked my settings and far as I can tell looks okay. Maybe Xanth will figure it out.

The funny thing was when I went to reply to him, I ALSO got an internal error.  I have no idea what causes it.  Sadly.
I remember it happening every now and then with the old software.  We'll have to wait until the next patch to see if it gets fixed.

In the meantime, how's the little man doing?

I'm sorry if this is sudden but I just had a strange experience and I need to ask, can our body die or suffer something from some practice?

Can your physical body die from projecting?  Is that what you're asking? 
If so, then no, you're perfectly safe.  It's as safe as dreaming - and you've always woken up each and every morning safe and sound. 

Do you mean, like, "Cultivating" energy?  For purposes of...?   Meditating?  Spiritual growth?  Projection?

Oh and deleted your other topic in the Astral Chat section.  I believe your question fits much better in this sub-forum.

Love it! We have to keep reminding ourselves how brave we are to have chosen to come here and be proud. Every experience regardless of what it is counts towards tremendous growth.

And yet people still live their lives like none of that matters in the slightest.  So sad.  Really makes one double guess their participation in this world to begin with.  Things are so skewed lately.  :/

Awww Ted, I miss him.  He had such a direct way to moderate.  I loved it.

I've been with my wife for almost twenty years, married for six... no kids.  Don't want any.

I dunno about anyone else, but I look around the world right now and see no reason to bring another life into this mess of a world.  That and financially, it makes no sense.

We're happy scuba diving the world now. 

The level of awareness and thought are the same as here, if not more elevated and peaceful.

This is the precise reason for that "more than real" feel so many people state in their projections. 
This is the "astral awareness" level of your awareness while projecting.  It's akin, as you suggested, to the same kind of awareness you have while awake - hence I call it your waking awareness.

Perhaps with the higher frequency of those realms positive feelings and perceptions are increased exponentially.

I feel it's due to your experiencing the without a filter.  That filter being your physical body.  You're now experiencing reality purely using your full awareness - you don't get that while physically awake. 

Nice experience.  It really creates that motivation to live it again and again.

Yeah, find one you like.  It needs to support 2.1.x
But I'd be more than happy to install it, assuming it works well.

I have no problem with the forum just the template did you not say that you were going to upload more and let people choose which one they wanted ?

Certainly!  Haven't quite got around to that one yet.

What kind of theme would you be looking for?  Something darker?

This new updated forum is much better. 
The new homepage gives users a new way to interact with the Pulse. 
I'm hoping we get a few people to add some knowledge to the main page as well.
