What do you mean by your third eye chakra kicked in?
I'm just curious because I have been starting to meditate daily for about a half hour a day sometimes twice a day. Sometimes within 10 minutes I will get random visions which aren't as clear as day, but I still get a glimpse of them and they are in no way related to what I am doing.
Other times I can meditate for a half hour with none of these visions
Would you consider these visions good or a distraction to my meditation?

I woke up and thought for certain there should have been a time change over the night, I woke up an hour earlier than normal and every time I looked at the clock I thought it should have been an hour later.

Some people have no power from the rain/wind. That's all I've got to contribute so far from EST..

Seems like you're focusing on your physical body too much, you shouldn't have to lay there for 2 hours with no success. Try meditating with a simple 2 syllable mantra and focus on nothing but repeating the mantra for 20 minutes and you should be able to get some visuals.
The point is to focus your attention away from your physical body, not to wait for changes to take place within it and then try to move forward from there

If I meditate or listen to binarual beats while laying down I usually don't like having a blanket on me, but at least a long sleeve shirt and pants. But while sleeping I like having at least a sheet on me. A lot of people probably feel the same way since most of us were brought up that way

Hey guys all of my recent obes I've been having I seem to have trouble recalling them when I wake up. I guess that's because I've been having trouble having good awareness during the experience.
In my 2 most recent obes I've said "clarity now" with not much success where as it used to improve my vision significantly in the past. If saying that doesn't work I usually end up having this great sensation of me feeling dizzy and I can barely stand. A strong wind will usually come and knock me off my feet. This mornings experience I was on my deck in my backyard and I didn't say clarity now, but I said "I'm in the non physical and in my backyard" Then my deck started to flip upside down and I ended up on the grass beneath it and the wind blew me around my yard til I woke up. It's very hard for me to hold awareness while I'm being blown around like this and when I wake up I usually don't have that excitement of having an obe and don't bother writing it down because I can only remember bits and pieces.

Anyway I guess the lack of recollection is due to the lack of awareness during the experience.
And this wind thing just started, but it's happened in my last 2 obes. It might just be because of my physical body waking up
Also I've always had trouble flying higher than 10 - 15ft off the ground. If I start on the ground and jump i usually float back down to the earth.

I use the program to help other people I meet that show interest in Astral travel. I lend it out to them and then let them learn at their own pace. I do the same with my Laxman, for people that want to experience the Trance state quickly without learning how to meditate etc. Most of the people that have tried my Laxman, have been put asleep in under 5 minutes. If you don't keep your focus on noticing you will almost instantly fall asleep, it's that relaxing.  :-)

Laxman?

Sounds like a cool dream thanks for sharing

I've never looked into him only because the first time I saw his stuff it seemed like a scam or something.
After seeing lionheart post about it may have changed my mind to give him a shot if anything, but i'm not the one to be spending a lot of money on his programs when I can already AP, just not as often as I'de like to of course

Awesome if it works for you, i might try it, but I feel like it might keep my mind too locked in the physical and prevent me from falling back asleep. Like sometimes when I wake up in the morning and I immediately start thinking about something i'm doing that day it will be hard to fall back asleep. I just feel like this would have the same effect FOR ME at least

I've told a group of about 10 friends one night a few years ago when I first started this and one girl knew what astral projection was, but she didn't say she practiced it she just knew about it.
Other then that I have a few (one or two) who do enjoy their dreams and have told me about them a few times, though they don't know or practice OBE. And don't know I do either

So I would say not a lot of people. And I don't talk about it to friends because I don't want to labeled as 'crazy', but I've been starting to care less recently about them knowing or not

Sounds cool Lion glad I could help. This was actually my first binaural beat with background music and it did work better than the other times I have tried using them without it

Well you know what I found weird.. I had another OBE yesterday morning while sleeping over my gf's house, but I was at my own house in the non physical and again the same christmas tree was in my living room, which triggered my lucidity right away. From there I had a pretty concious OBE because when I became lucid I did Xanths reality check. I stopped in my living room looked at my hands and said, where am i? 'my living room in the non physical' how did I get here? 'I became lucid in a dream'. And from there I had a pretty long OBE. Probably one of my longest OBE's so far

i listened to this one today while sitting upright in my computer chair with my eyes closed and some basic breathing techniques. within the 20 minutes I had some 'imagery' where i found myself in one of my old friends backyard. It was nothing extreme and not an obe, but just some basic imagery. I've just started getting into using binarual beats and sometimes it feels like they're not doing anything, but once you open your eyes you realize how tired or asleep your body really was

I havn't posted anything recently so I figured I'de post this quick OBE I had this morning
I actually had 2, but the first one got vague halfway through and I forget what happened, so I'll post the second one
6/6/12, wake back to bed, familiar location, lucid awareness
I woke up after my first obe and went back to sleep without the intention of having another. Soon after I found myself consciously aware and looking at the clock on the floor next to my bed. I realized I wasn't looking at the clock from my bed though and it was more like my head was down on the ground next to it. At this point I still wasn't sure if I was physical or nonphysical though. So next thing I know I'm looking at my clock and everything starts fading. My vision starts going black, my hearing goes less, my body starts going numb and paralyzed. This scared me a bit so I forced my (nonphysical?) eyes open and I was again down on the ground looking at my clock. So I let go again and let this sensation come over my body for a second time and then I felt the familiar feeling and I knew I could separate so I pushed up and floated out. I rolled off the side of the bed which I always do when I first separate because its the easiest way for me to get away from my physical body. I was aware, but my vision wasn't great, but I didn't do anything to boost my awareness  :| I floated out of my room and down the hallway to the living room. It was dreamlike and there was a christmas tree and presents and some other stuff laying around. It felt pretty normal while obe, but its june and there is def no christmas tree in my living room now lol. I stood there for a few moments until I woke up from the garage door slamming in physical.

So yeah I'm glad I had an experience again finally since it's been a while. Next time I will remember to boost my awareness before leaving my room to avoid the dreamlike experience and make it last longer, but overall can't complain  8-)

i sleep and am more comfortable on my sides as well, but when using binaural beats or hemi sync i do it laying on my back because of the headphones. I've never got obe while using them, usually only in the morning after sleep when aying on my sides or stomach
#117
Weird that you actually moved your physical body. The one time I experienced those vibrations where I could control them I also had noises (talking, music, or rushing wind) and hypnogigic images as well and I was able to easily push myself up off bed
#118
I've only felt the vibrations that some people describe on here once or twice and it was while hearing rushing wind noises in SP and just before separation. It was like a fast buzzing vibration and I was able to control them and moves them throughout my body
#119
Not sure if this is the same feeling but a lot of times when I take a nap maybe for about 10 - 15 mins and I wake up I have a slow pulsating 'vibration' throughout my whole body that last probably a minute or less
#120
Yes in a lot of my OBEs I have had music playing. Usually songs I know and listen to physically. Sounds awesome when flying lol. Also pretty amazing how real it sounds and perfect quality
#121
I think it depends how lucid you are and your state of consciousness. I've never turned around on purpose to look at my body but one time I did have a long experience and ended up laying next to it in bed because I wanted to wake up but i still had a hard time reentering it probably because I was so concious in my OBE it made it hard to physically wake up

Welcome to Dreams! / short LD from teeth falling out
February 05, 2012, 11:33:43
Finally had a short lucid dream this morning after a longg break. I woke up a few times this morning and kept falling back to sleep. At one point I found my self in a dream where I was in my garage standing there and I felt my front tooth was loose with my tongue so I walked over to the mirror hanging on the wall in my garage and looked at my teeth. I saw the 2 front ones on top and on the bottom were loose so I spit them out into my hand. Then while looking at my teeth in my hands I thought, wait my teeth only fall out like this in my dreams so I must be dreaming. The dream started to fade and I thought no don't let it fade and I looked away from my hand and started walking out of the garage. I got outside and 2 of my friends were there and I said I was going to go back to Megan's house so I jumped in the air about 50 feet above the trees and located her house across town and I was going to fly there, but I slowly sunk back to the ground. I've always had trouble actually flying. I'm always able to jump high but when I try to fly I usually just slowly float down to the ground.

So just thought I would share since I haven't had any real experiences recently. And I have noticed that I have dreams at least once or twice a week about my teeth falling out. I don't know why, but now it seems to be helping me with becoming lucid so I will try to use this to my advantage.
