Does anyone know where I can buy meditation chairs in Toronto??

I'm talking about these contraptions: http://www.omsutra.com/Backjack-Meditation-Chair-Folding_p_164.html

Also does anyone have any experience with these chairs??  Do they work well for meditation??

I dont believe in those prophecies.  All these so-called prophets have mostly proven to been wrong throughout history.  Nostradamus, Edgar Cayce just to name a couple

From what I heard time is definitely not equal, 10 minutes away from earth time could feel like an hour in astral.  Or do I have that the other way around, I cant remember  :|

It shouldn't be kept as a secret though. I do understand one of there reasons for not telling which is to do with religion and how this info can crush all faiths, Then a panic and then chaos

Religion has nothing to do with it because nowhere in the Bible or Koran does it say aliens exist or not.

The main reason why its being kept secret is because coming eye to eye with an alien is supposed to be a very terrifying experience for someone who's never seen one before.

Now picture the whole world freaking out, and you'd have chaos everywhere.
Its probably best for now to keep it a secret

Well, I dunno about "nothing".

"Something" is always happening.

Take right now for example... we're literally on the verge of a complete world wide financial collapse.  That's definitely something.  :)

Is it related to this 2012 crap?  Nope.
But the point is people *WILL* say it is.

Thats probably true.  Any major earthquake next 12 months will be blamed on 2012, I have no doubt.

But my point was I dont think anything out of the ordinary will happen.  Just the usual stuff

3rd World War?
Thats very possible.

But what I meant with catastrophic was more natural events like more earthquakes, asteroids hittingearth, floods, tsunamis...etc

I've been getting along fine in life without a brain too   :-D

Why do you think its a bad idea fresco?
I find it creepy.  Plus if you want to believe conspircacy theories, the US govt has been in contact with aliens since the 1940's, and supposedly they dont like it when civilians get too nosy
#109
2012 will be Y2K 2.0
#110
Absolutely nothing catastrophic will happen in 2012 IMO
#111
I think getting too deep into UFO research is a bad idea all around
#112
Yeah, my guess is you can probably get high or drunk by just thinking about it and ordering your astral brain to do so.  Probably no actual marijuana or booze is needed, although you could probably get your mind to order a nice fresh brewski if you wanted to.

Thats what they say about the Astral, whatever your mind can think of becomes reality instantly

The LofA seems to work for me on a smaller scale. Like the other day in a restaurant I didn't see crostini on their list of appetisers, and that's what I wanted. And when the waitress rattled off the specials she said "oh and we have crostini too" without me asking! I know maybe it was coincidence, but isn't that the same thing.?
Yeah, its kinda impossible to prove LOA in essence.  People that believe in it will think its LOA, and skeptics will say it all happens by chance.

For me it works virtually 100% of the time, that cant be just luck
#114
I would think it has more of an effect, not less or the same.

But hey, I could be wrong
#115
Thanks.  I downloaded it
#116
It would have to exist since astral contains an exact copy of whatever is here on earth (and more).

There's probably lots of beer too, which makes Fresco quite happy  :-D

Sounds like a post from another forum I visit.  hehe

Anyways, I *strongly* do not believe in a god.
I believe that we are the highest power... or minds, body, soul...

Anyways, I do consider myself an atheist, but more to the point, I consider myself a Spiritual Atheist!
I don't believe in a god, but I do believe in an US!  :)

I believe *WE* created and shaped and continue to shape this universe which is our playground.
But then you're not an atheist, Ryan.  You just dont believe the commonheld depiction of a God sitting on a throne with angels beside playing harps (something which I also dont believe in btw).

But technically speaking you're not an atheist

Wow, this LofA thingie really works!!  I'm getting better at it as time goes along

Maybe if you would have read the Baghavad-Gita as I adviced you would have spared yourself the waste of the 1 minute it did take you to both trying to understand what I said and write the above
Yes drill sargeant.  I'll get right on that.

Would you like me to get you some coffee while I'm at it??

More like this airplane crash would be the end to these people's earthly lives, and they would go on to whatever comes next.  It's neither good nor bad, it just is.  Of course all this 'metaphysical mumbo-jumbo' only applies if there is spiritual evolution, etc. etc.  So, the fact that it depends on a lot of stuff kind of makes my point.
If only the physical exists, then there is no dualism because there is only one thing and this conversation is moot.  If there is more than physical experience, then everything depends on what frame of reference you're looking at, because there is not just black or white, there's a whole lot of 'in betweens'.

Aaah....gotcha.

It is what it is then, nothing more and nothing less
#121
Ah okay, so kinda like 100 people dying in a plane crash would be a bad thing for their surviving families, but a really good thing for the local morgue and casket makers.

Amiright??

separateness, not 'being one' or at least strongly connected to "others"
So you mean like having your opinion, or "marching to the beat of your drum"??

I still dont understand, can you elaborate??

The definition of Enlightenment is:

Freedom from Desire/Greed
Freedom from Hate/Anger
Freedom from Delusion/Duality

Once a person attains Enlightenment all that remains is Unconditional Love towards All forms of Life and Service to Others, including All Forms of Life before Self

Adrian
Could somebody please explain to me what Adrian means by Delusion/Duality??  I obviously know what delusion means, but what exactly does 'duality' mean??

Look into the "Law of Attraction".  Start implementing it and you'll never have another negative, bad day again
