I tried the OBE timer last night but I think I ended up sleeping through the whole thing. Maybe I was too tired. Ill try turning up the Volume next time too

Also Im sorry I just remembered the other thing i was going to ask,
If my chakras are blocked or arent all functioning right, could that prevent me from projecting?

thanks again,

thanks for the reply,
In total I would say at least 20-25 times. Which I realize now that maybe thats not a lot. I pick up things fairly fast so It might just seem weird for me to not get this right away. (hope that doesn't sound like im bragging haha)

Hi everyone,
I apologize for the frequent questions. Even though I just joined this forum =\

Anyway, As mentioned before in a previous post, I just started the phasing process and everything about this process seems to make perfect sense to me. Of course this is still a sense of doubt in my mind simply because I have yet to experience it.
There are 2 concerns on my mind,

1 is that I read some of Frank's posts about phasing (thank you Xanth for posting them :) ) and about the "consciousness cone". The bottom of the cone being your C1 and the top being the astral border. I have been listening to monroe's Gateway Experience CD's (only track cd 1 track 2 so far) and i can reach F10 (mind awake body asleep) fairly easily however, I cant stop the little REM eye movements! I actually end up thinking about how i need them to stop more and it just gets worse and eventually my eyes start to strain :(
I was actually able to let go for a few seconds and I felt my consciousness rise for a second, but sadly my eyes moved again after that and I returned to normal. I read on a few other posts about the 3D stereogram pictures that help your eyes relax and ive been doing them, so hopefully that will work. Other than that, any suggestions?

The second question is going to be a little hard to phrase so please bear with me.

In the Gateway Experience, I read on several posts about peoples' process of phasing. Like Franks for instance where his resonance tuning takes place on top of a pyramid, his declaration takes place with two people in white robes as he places his hand on an orb etc.
As I have a pretty vivid imagination, I was able to construct a pretty good process for myself however, at no point to I actually "see" my process. I mean I can see it in my mind but I dont ever Phase into it as suggested in previous posts. Am I just supposed to keep imagining and try to consciousness rising process?

Again I am very sorry for the length of this question.
To be honest, getting into the astral plane is the only thing I can think about recently and I just want to make sure im doing things right.

Thanks a lot,

Thank you Xanth, I'll give them a read :)
After I complete 1 of the exercises I always find myself wanting to do more but I read some posts where a few people were saying overdoing it could be a bad idea. Should I just keep it to once a day?

I really appreciate your feedback!

Hello everyone,

I have been attempting the traditional style of AP through meditation and then projection for about 2 months now. I recently came across a lot of posts by Frank (which were extremely interesting/helpful btw thank you Frank) that deal with Phasing. I got the whole Gateway experience set by the monroe institute and just started practicing phasing through the guided meditation. To be honest, this form of AP feels like it makes a lot more sense to me personally than the traditional exit techniques i.e the rope technique or rolling over. I have always had a very strong imagination and so far am doing fairly well with these cd's from monroe.
However, the thing I am concerned about is, should i focus on projecting the traditional way before attempting it this way? I am curious because I cant find many topics on Phasing at all! I honestly want this more than anything else and I'm trying to find whats right for me.
anyway sorry for the length of the question, any feedback at all would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Thanks for the replies guys :)

I think I'll just stick to the program and keep meditating like I have been. I've gotten to the point where I always end up falling asleep if I attempt to meditate on my bed so I guess ill have to move it elsewhere. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hello everyone,

I am very happy to have found a forum that is so lively on the topic of AP. I am relatively new to all of this (just started attempting AP 1 month ago).
Anyway my question was, Is it dangerous to attempt to project out of my physical body without much training in the matter?
I just started reading Robert Bruce's Mastering Astral Projection and they briefly mentioned that in doing so, I can create energy blocks that will hinder my chances of projecting. I started off listening to some binaural beats and focusing on relaxing and feeling the presence of my etheric body. I was able to get to the point where i could feel a slight separation from my physical body, extreme beating of the heart chakra, and vibrations. I didnt practice meditating for 2 weeks or so and now when I try, I either just fall asleep or get to the point where my body is relatively numb (not everywhere however just my leggs and arms :(   ) but nowhere further. So should I just stick to this 90 day program that Robert Bruce talks about to avoid messing things up?

Sorry for the long question, any feedback at all would be great :)

I look forward to getting to know you all :)
