But I do disagree with traveling back to the past to witness something and having a influence on it. You can go back and relive
memories but that's as close as you can get to changing them.. unless your in a lucid dream (but you still wont change the outcome of the future by doing so)

But hey; its any ones guess.. I guess :P

So if I sleep on my belly, and if I were to have an OOBE/AP would I be floating up and looking at myself as I float up (if I don't teleport to another location- ofcourse.)

When I sleep; I tend to sleep on my belly, so when I try OOBEs and APs should I do them on my belly? :?

As for the back problem, it seems that's not your method of choice when you sleep, if not then you should use what ever method you use for sleep.. just don't fall asleep! :wink: You want to be as comfortable as possible when doing astral projections, or lucid dreaming for that matter!

As for the third eye, focus on that "dot" or what ever it is,  keep focusing on it you will notice that it will try and lose your attention by moving around and displaying images as distractions, if you keep focusing on the "dot" you will most likely astral project!  :lol: And also try and meditate before sessions , if binural beats helps try that (remember that 4-7 Hz is the best for entering the Theta State, so look for something like that)! It will make it much easier to go into SP!

I use breath counting, meaning I count my breathes usually to 130-150 and then that's when I can no longer feel my body  :-D

If you want to breath count just do (inhale) 1 (exhale) 1 (every inhale is basically a new number so breath in 1 breath out 1 breath in 2 breath out 2 and so on). Wish you luck!  :-)

You want to meditate because it will help you focus on one thing and one thing only, so that's why breath counting will help you not label things and give them explanations because you will be too busy focusing on your breathing!

But you are on your way :D , you just have to get rid of the labeling! (if the posture you lucid dream or AP is making your back hurt than its time to change postures lol)

But I thought time doesn't exist and its just a perception we use at our focus level C-1 ?? (or what ever you want to call it :P)

And also, you can't go back in time and change something because if you fixed it than what was there ever to change;  Nothing, And I sort of understand what you mean by this thread, I just can't wrap my head around the whole teacher hypnosis thing o.O lol.. I guess we will never know why she was trying to do hypnosis on a 12/13 yr. old boy..  :-o

Um, I'm new to astral projections but I have heard that if you do the teleport method, you will land in that area without getting stuck in your body. Just think of the room next to you and imagine picking up a object in it, think of the textures on it, and how cold/hot it is and think as if you are moving around in first person (meaning like you see through your eyes, like you do regularly) and this will either invoke you to teleport your astral body there or just float above your body and you will be conscious about it. Do not take my word for it, I have never projected but its something I have been reading up on for a while now, doesn't hurt to try  8-)

Can't I just do the NoY method, since thats like a universal method for meditation :o?? I think I will try that instead >.>

Ok so I have been trying to do astral projection for about 2 weeks now, and every time I do this (which is like 2 times to 4 times a day, this is done in the morning btw) I do breath counting, so I do 100 breathes and then my body goes numb and then my breathing gets really heavy and I start to feel as if I'm falling or my body is moving foward.. in a way  :? so when I reach the part where I try and visualize the room next to me, or any room for that matter, I cant get it to work!

Also during my session I get twitches (like my muscles twich in random spots) and itches!!  :-( Can someone tell me how I can control this and a good technique that would work for me??

I have been trying the rope technique for a little bit but I can't get that to work, I have also tried the technique where you try and roll over so the pushing makes your astral body come out, or something like that :P So I just do 100 breath counts then visualize the room next to me (like my bathroom) and supposedly that will make you float out of your body and astral project!

Can someone please tell me whats going on lol! I'm not sure if its normal or if its just me ._.
