But what do you suppose the spirit of a frog is? Isn't it made from the same substance as yours? Then I think your higher self and that of the frog are not so different. So, logically our spirits can reincarnate into anything and everything in any given reality with various densities.
As far as time goes, billions of years in the inner dimensions are very differently perceived than in earthly years. In fact your higher self is experiencing many incarnations in many realities, in many shapes and forms simultaneously. What you perceive as yourself at the moment is just a small part of your complete self, observed at a particular point of your infinite experiences.

I concur with both perspectives/insights.

Currently my mind, spirit (metaphor) temple is embodied in a female South East Asian body expression.
During lucid dreaming I have experienced self as many different personality constructs,
in different bodies, appearances, gender, time periods including future Earth techno city, scenes/landscapes, that I can accept all these myriad of self expressions.

With each self expression I have experienced differing perspectives,
offering me the insight that there can be no absolute truth, only relative truth.
With each mind perspective arises meaning and purpose to life based on real experiences
and thus ego-self identity; these are all subjective definitions based on experiences.

Since I know I am eternal, 'death' is only a metaphor relative to the
temp-oral (word/will)  reality construct as it provides an exit strategy.

So what is reincarnation?
Is it a metaphor for another dream, another mind perspective, another virtual simulated reality?
I find the tradition belief of reincarnation or rebirth back to Earth to be limiting.
As consciousness, Earth is a mindscape among infinite realities and possibilities.
What is the limiting factor? I think it is the scope of our imagination.
So in a liberal interpretation, do we 'reincarnate' each lucid dream when we 'remember'
or experience another expression of self?

Death and rebirth, remembrance and amnesia - all are valuable tools to experience the
richness and variety of life.
Ultimately consciousness relies on memory to build dreams, seek life purpose and
experience new perspective with each mind exploration.

Through watching Anthony Peake's youtube interviews I became aware of the below machine.
The producers: psychologist Dr. Engelbert Winkler and neurologist Dr. Dirk Proekl in Switzerland
claim it triggers the production of METAtonin (is chemically known DMT)

Digital dreams or another way of interfacing with information systems and reality.
The hall of records that my son experiences in his OOBE/alternate reality resembles

One may eventually realise that what we all are experiencing is information systems and
CULTural programming in various modes.
By saying this I do not mean to imply that we are a mechanical process, because this will deny our free will.
However I will use the analogy of holographical computational process to convey how we organise ideas.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:27)

Image = Information: is a symbol, has meaning, composed of bits/pixels
We naturally think in mental images (a picture is composed of bits/pixels = information).
Without organisation and interconnectivity there will be chaos!
Meanings arise from a pattern of thoughts and experiences.

Also if one accepts that time is only a mental construct of the mind relative to the reality that is experienced,
the only time is NOW > then all motion picture/personal reality are composed of still images,
complicated symbols if you will, superimposed on top of each other.
Time, frames, rhythm, periods, cycles (metaphors) are required to have our motion picture experience,
where all sensorial experiences are in sync with events (time based).


The accelerated rate of information technology development, quantum computational processes,
realistic HD resolution virtual simulation multi-player games, holographic techology,
smart mobile phone/multimedia devices, greater (GB) information storage capacity,
GPS technology, artifical intelligence, cloud information storage, greater information transfer-bandwidth
will indeed shape our collective reality and minds.
Terence McKenna's Time Wave Novelty Theory is in effect - in the context of information explosion and interconnectivity of minds.

I think we will inevitably turn inside out.
Our lucid dreaming state will be the main focus because all alternate/dream realities and physical realities
will coalesce until there can be no discernment between what is real, unreal and virtual!

Returning to first premises, we will ultimately realise what we experience
are ships (vessel/light body) and relationships
between ideas and forms/images; all are but mental constructs of mind.

My son has described experiencing many virtual gaming realities in his OOBE.
It would seem that any game, cartoon and movie available on Earth reality is available for him to experience.
This makes sense because all information systems is stored in consciousness.
He has experienced many years in the alternate reality while only hours has passed in the Earth reality.

His favourite reality is "D.J. Reality" because it is a reality that you can play games and readily
change from game to game consecutively. You can also choose from the available characters available or
custom design your own with whatever attributes you want.
This is his idea of heaven

 

If you accept the idea of free will,

Or is everything a matter of perspective?



The analogy of Source/God as being one consciousness server, partitioned into many operating systems, running many
virtual multi-player simulation games becomes more credible:

Source is the player, role-playing all the characters.
Each character is preset (personality construct), cultural programming sets the themes and most players are on auto-pilot -
repeating the thought patterns of cultural/belief programming.
Each player experiences their own perspective, subjective reality, perceptual illusion,
seemingly real by the engagement of your virtual senses.
When a player becomes aware that reality is not what it seems to be
and starts to question the nature of self and reality, the character becomes
more self aware and breaks away from the programming constraints/rule sets.

The player and the character start to merge, and more information becomes available.
The more self aware player through the characters in the game will shift the reality
and diminish governMENTAL control structures.
Subsequently more players will be released from the hypnosis of dogmatic belief systems.

Reality, characters are organised by idea relationships
similar to main directory, sub directories and filing systems.
Access different characters and virtual simulation games by intent,
or design/imagine your own.
You are the programmer, both the dreamer and the dream are caught up

Religion that is Religious Institutions are artificial boundaries of man-made belief systems
that seeks to divide us, so that the control systems can effectively manipulate our perceptions.

I was raised a Christian, attended a Catholic all girls school and married another Christian.
I question the Bible's teachings all my life and challenged the nuns, my scripture teachers
and fellow peers.
I never believed in confession and never accepted that priests/ministers were any different
from the rest of us. We are all equal.

It was not until my spiritual awakening experience in 2002 that I finally realised that
this physical reality is not so physical at all.
Then my OOBE experiences and lucid dreams showed me that reality was
a product of my desires, thoughts and emotions.
In summary, my reality is a product of my perceptions.

Intially I went through feelings of confusion and anger.
I experienced a deep sense of betrayal, I rebuked the Religious Institutions.
How can they claim to do God's work ...
I disliked the Vatican, Cabal, the Crown, the Government control systems.

After much soul searching, I understood that their existence ultimately served me.
Their attitudes, policies and actions raised questions, which eventually caused me
to question the nature of reality, belief systems and self.
Why is the world like it is?
I did not grow complacent.
I could not accept the status quo.

I am not the ego.
I am not the name.
I am that I am.

Now I am pleased that I spent years studying the King James Bible.
Why?
I have discovered that the Western Civil Law System was built on Roman Law,
which was derived from Canon Law.

One can readily apply definitions and principles from the Bible to seek remedy from
the highest form of Commercial Law: Uniform Commercial Code.

The key is to understand who you are.

Admiralty Law, UCC Law and the Corporate Court jurisdiction apply to the name, the legal fiction.
That is they have jurisdiction once you claim you are the name, also the title, the appellation,
the corporation, the citizen, the patriot, Mr/Ms/Mrs/Miss/Master.

We are all enslaved by our own self definitions, admittedly most have been programmed

Most people all conduct our personal study of this reality and have formed theories and ideas relative to

Companies are in the business of making money including politics.
Until the human element of compassion, love and care is genuinely part of the business model, not just ostensible declared goals,
we will continue to have corporatised science pushing their own agendas.

Science has indeed given us some insights into the invisible world, the paranormal and elements of consciousness,

The current educational system tells you what to think and what to believe.
It discourages free thinking and self discovery.
It promotes a group mentality, an attitude of disbelief towards most things paranormal,

Following this, any new discoveries which change the foundation of our thinking paradigms should be included as
an "Option" and incorporated into the Educational System, Health Systems, Media etc and
eventually shapes the collective attitude and culture.

What is Science?
I think Science could be summed up by saying it is the study of observable effects.
The observable effects of what? The physical world.

Many areas of Science is demonstrating that this physical world is:
a) Just a holographic illusion; no solid particles. There is no objective reality because every observable effects is tainted by subjectivity of the experimenter/observer (Quantum Physics).
b) Only constitutes ~4% of the Universe, the rest of the Universe is made of dark matter or the invisible Universe. (Astronomy)
c) Biology Of Beliefs (Epigentics) is the foundation of good health and longevity.
d) Primary Plant Consciousness (Everything is connected)
e) Consciousness is independent of the brain and changes phase/states at death (Studies into Near Death Experiences of Cardiac Arrests)

Who promotes Science? What field of Science?
The Educational System and Corporate Media Interests all promote Newtonian/Darwinian Science of a
materialistic competition type paradigm. These programming prey on young minds and condition the masses
that the Universe is rigid, made up of solid particles, and anyone who thinks differently than the group mentality
should be ridiculed: paranormal claims are nonsense and those making such claims are mentally unstable.

Ultimately depending on your existing belief systems/conditioned belief systems and experiences, you will be drawn to different perspectives, be it science, philosophy or new age ideas.
Obviously the dominant cultural belief systems encouraged by Governments, Educational system and Media
will be greatly favoured due to mass programming. Conversely I have observed more people (on the internet)
investigating other belief systems; many are realising there is more to this reality than meets the eye.
This Forum and many others alike are a testimony to this growing trend.

I think that Science is limited in its premise as defined by "The Scientific Method" and attempts to be objective,
and rational; anything that doesn't fit is either ignored or explained away as an exception etc.

Ultimately if one is convinced by self discovery and direct experiences that the reality perceived through their senses
is a product of their thoughts, desires and beliefs... it does not matter what Science thinks.
Science can attempt to measure consciousness -if that is in their (corporate aligned) interests,
but it is only measuring the effects.
How can consciousness that is formless, dimensionless be accurately described and measured by the forms within it?
I think Philosophy has a better chance of doing what Science is limited in.

My many lucid dreams, OOBEs indicate that I've experienced many lives as a human being in different bodies,
as different personalities and different settings/scenes;
whether they be past life, future life/possibilities or alternate reality ...
time is not important because the experiences and sensations happened in the present now moment.

I have recently experienced an awesome sensation of what I call "mind rush"
when I approached a mind vortex amidst a white background, and was inundated with the voices, thought patterns of many personalities.
Depending on the voice-data stream I focused on, I will be hit with that energy-force of the personality until I re-focus on another voice-personality stream,
the sensation of the mind rush continued until the next re-focus...

This was a mind boggling experience which caused me to start questioning along the lines of:
Are we each experiencing a data stream based on the ego determined by the thought patterns or perceptual propensities of that personality construct?
It is probable that the ONE universal mind can create the idea of multiplicity by custom designing personality constructs
and reality paradigms as role playing ground for imagination to run amok.

We know that patients with cardiac arrest are unconscious within seconds.
Anoxia causes loss of function of our cell systems.
In cardiac arrest global anoxia of the brain occurs within seconds. Timely and adequate CPR reverses this functional loss of the brain, because definitive damage of the brain cells, resulting in cell death, has been prevented. Long lasting anoxia, caused by cessation of blood flow to the brain for more than 5-10 minutes, results in irreversible damage and extensive cell death in the brain. This is called brain death, and most patients will ultimately die.

From these studies we know that in our prospective study1 as well as in the other studies2,3 of patients who have been clinically dead (VF on the ECG), total lack of electric activity of the cortex of the brain (flat EEG) must have been the only possibility, but also the abolition of brain-stem activity, such as the loss of the corneal reflex, fixed and dilated pupils, and the loss of the gag reflex, is a clinical finding in those patients. However, patients with an NDE can report a clear consciousness, in which cognitive functioning, emotion, sense of identity, and memory from early childhood was possible, as well as perception from a position out and above their "dead" body. Because of the occasional and verifiable out-of-body experiences, like the one involving the dentures in our study,1 we know that the NDE must happen during the period of unconsciousness, and not in the first or last seconds of this period. There is also a well documented report of a patient with constant registration of the EEG during surgery for an gigantic aneurysm at the base of the brain, operated with a body temperature between 10 and 15 degrees Celsius. She was connected to a heart-lung machine, with VF, with all blood drained from her head, with a flat line EEG, with clicking devices in both ears, with eyes taped shut, and this patient experienced an NDE with an out-of-body experience, and all details she perceived and heard could later be verified.15

So we have to conclude that NDE in our study,1 as well as in the American2 and the British study,3 was experienced during a transient functional loss of all functions of the cortex and of the brainstem. How could a clear consciousness outside one's body be experienced at the moment that the brain no longer functions during a period of clinical death, with a flat EEG? Such a brain would be roughly analogous to a computer with its power source unplugged and its circuits detached. It couldn't hallucinate; it couldn't do anything at all. As stated before, up to the present it has generally been assumed that consciousness and memories are localized inside the brain, that the brain produces them. According to this unproven concept, consciousness and memories ought to vanish with physical death, and necessary also during clinical death or brain death. However, during an NDE patients experience the continuity of their consciousness with the possibility of perception outside and above one's lifeless body. Consciousness can be experienced in another dimension without our conventional body-linked concept of time and space, where all past, present and future events exist and can be observed simultaneously and instantaneously (non-locality). In the other dimension, one can be connected with the personal memories and fields of consciousness of oneself as well as others, including deceased relatives (universal interconnectedness). And the conscious return into one's body can be experienced, together with the feeling of bodily limitation, and also sometimes the awareness of the loss of universal wisdom and love they had experienced during their NDE.

Attempts to Understand Cardiac Arrest NDEs

The first point is that signs of cardiac arrest are the same as clinical death. There is no detectable cardiac output, no respiratory effort, and brainstem reflexes are absent. If you are in this state and I put a tube down your throat, you will not cough. You will have dilated pupils. Your blood pressure has fallen to zero. You are, in fact, clinically dead. Even if I start cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), I cannot get your blood pressure any higher than 30 millimeters of mercury, and this is not going to produce an adequate blood flow to your brain.


The height of the line above the x axis shows the intensity of consciousness, and the squiggly line represents the level of consciousness. When the heart stops, the line starts to dip, and consciousness is lost. So you are going along conscious, your heart stops, and there is a very quick descent into unconsciousness. Those of you who have ever fainted will agree that when you faint you lose consciousness very quickly. So you lose consciousness, then you are unconscious, and then the heart restarts, so science says the NDE cannot occur while you are unconsciousness; that is the pink area in the diagram. Now, as you slowly regain consciousness, the slow recovery is all confusional, so the NDE cannot occur there.

So then, as far as science is concerned, the NDE cannot occur at the point the heart stops, it cannot occur at any point during the period of unconsciousness, and it is unlikely to occur at the point of confusional arousal, because it is not typical of that level of consciousness; and if it occurred after recovery, the NDErs would say it occurred after recovery, because they know they have recovered. So there are real difficulties in accepting that the NDE happens when the NDErs say it happens: during unconsciousness. So are you beginning to feel the significance of the timing of the NDE both for neuroscience as well as for our understanding of the NDE?

Focusing In On the Near-Death Out-of-Body Experience

Anecdotal evidence suggests that the OBE, and so the NDE, occurs during unconsciousness. There is also anecdotal evidence that it may be veridical. Sabom in 1982 found that some of his research participants gave correct accounts of resuscitation procedures, suggesting that the NDE occurs when the brain is ''down.''

CONCLUSION

ccording to our concept, grounded on the reported aspects of consciousness experienced during cardiac arrest, we can conclude that our consciousness could be based on fields of information, consisting of waves, and that it originates in the phase-space. During cardiac arrest, the functioning of the brain and of other cells in our body stops because of anoxia. The electromagnetic fields of our neurons and other cells disappear, and the possibility of resonance, the interface between consciousness and physical body, is interrupted.

Such understanding fundamentally changes one's opinion about death, because of the almost unavoidable conclusion that at the time of physical death consciousness will continue to be experienced in another dimension, in an invisible and immaterial world, the phase-space, in which all past, present and future is enclosed. Research on NDE cannot give us the irrefutable scientific proof of this conclusion, because people with an NDE did not quite die, but they all were very, very close to death, without a functioning brain.

The conclusion that consciousness can be experienced independently of brain function might well induce a huge change in the scientific paradigm in western medicine, and could have practical implications in actual medical and ethical problems such as the care for comatose or dying patients, euthanasia, abortion, and the removal of organs for transplantation from somebody in the dying process with a beating heart in a warm body but a diagnosis of brain death.

There are still more questions than answers, but, based on the aforementioned theoretical aspects of the obviously experienced continuity of our consciousness, we finally should consider the possibility that death, like birth, may well be a mere passing from one state of consciousness to another.
