I have a little trick for separation that I learned a few years back. Of course, it works only if I am already in the permissive state. But since that permissivity has been broadened considerably. All I need to do is having some faint hypnagogics and so this "snap back rolling" for separation.

It starts by imagining myself turning around the length axis of my body for about quarter of a turn or more. Up to this point it may feel as an imagination. If I lay on my right side I pretend myself turning on my back.

I have to do this really, really slowly but with considerable force before I abruptly snap back and start to spin into the opposite direction, now for real and with full speed. It actually feels like my first imagined turn somehow makes the path for the second opposite movement. It tricks the neuromatrix into malfunction.

Another simple tech is to focus on a point just above the top of your head. Try to collect the sense of your body awareness in that point like you were a giant amoeba oozing upwards. Chances are great you will hear some noises increasing in pitch or volume, quite similar to what air makes when it escapes from tanks being filled up with water.

This focus will immediately lose up your dream body for spinning or snap back rolling.

I think Mensing's emoclearing is more effective.

I can relate. Nothing to worry about, it will go away as soon as internal blockages and pathways has been cleansed and redefined. I still feel a strong pulling sensation in my spleen chakra though especially during forced separation. But it's not painful.

This is not phasing. It's a simple OBE method that could unhook your personality in another consciousness thread. A similar practice has been described in Vijnanabhairava Tantra but just as Catmeow I learned it myself. However, my approach wasn't that heuristic, I have rather understood how OBE works.

Actually what we are dealing here with are two set of body focuses. One set is associated with being in the body (I call it autopoetic triad), and another with being out of it (OBE triad). Basically an OBE could be triggered either by collecting body awareness exclusively in one (or more) points associated with the OBE triad (รก la Frank), or by oscillating awareness between members of the OBE and autopoetic triad (Catmeow).

Here is my explanation from the physiologists point of view:

OBE paralysis is usually not REM paralysis. A typical OBE method put your brain first into non-REM sleep. During separation you're not paralyzed in the sense of real paralysis. REM and REM paralysis will be switched on by the first vision you got on your bedroom before, while or after separation. Then a lucid dream begins.

From this point on OBE is not much really different from lucid dreams, at least not in physiological terms. What makes the difference is the quality of the initial sensory input (your bedroom), and the fate of the 'state stabilizing sensory feedback.' When intent is not clear beliefs play the main role.

In REM sleep paralysis a group of neurons in the brainstem actively inhibits voluntary movements by hyperpolarizing spinal motoneurons. On the other hand, "NREM-paralysis" is caused by extreme muscle relaxation, visualization or both.

These activities gradually close the "sensory gate," a function of the thalamus. The "sensory gate" regulates the flow of sensory information toward the cortex. Every sensory information (except olfactory) have to pass through this gate before become a conscious sensation "in the cortex."

The mechanism that closes the sensory gate is pretty inseparable from the nature of sleep. Deepening sleep in general, whether conscious or not, entails the gradual closure of the sensory gate.

In the second stage of NREM sleep (S2), usually preceeded by lost of consciousness, sleep oscillations of the stronger kind, called "sleep spindles" shut the gate. Depending on the technique you have used various degree of attention remains on your body representing a particular filter mode of the sensory gate.

As a result, in S2 you're in "mild NREM paralysis," and by S3 you enter "total NREM paralysis." Neither occur with REM paralysis by default. REM sleep often starts in S2 but could superimpose onto other sleep stages too, even wakefulness. Except very rare cases REM comes with its own, active paralysis you're all familiar with.

In S2 the body feels very slow, faint and spacious. Even while you couldn't move your physical body you often think you're able to. The border is quite messy anyway, a couple of times I've even finished a turn in my dream body that has started in the physical. At the beginning it's so easy to confuse the premature dream body with the physical thinking that you're actually turning and tossing in bed. It causes a lot of false awakenings.

Of course, there are hypnagogic WILDs too (phasing). When REM latency is less than 15 minutes, we call the REM period as "sleep onset REM period" (SOREM-P). It happens when REM-pressure is greater than the preference for NREM sleep.

So we have two type of WILD, one has its own paralysis and begins in S2 by the subjective feeling of separation and an other which occurs by REM-intrusion.

QuoteHow can you really tell if someone who has projected never came back hurt or screwed up mentally?

Sure TVOS but there is no point in not telling the truth even to beginners. If they were not fully aware the possibility of getting injured then learning would not possible.

Perhaps our Higher Self is immortal, we are not. Our body and ego will die and our energy will dissipate all around the world. Many believe that securing the propagation of information we regard as our self requires skill and use conscious dreaming as a way to master it.

By the way, the right question is not about whether there are or aren't dangers in projection, but rather goes like: "Is it worth it?" If you answered with yes no danger should hold you back.

Stevo wrote:

Yes but you need time to remember that lol.

QuoteThe concept is the idea that the body and mind are more seperate than body and spirit.

Could be that you meant consciousness instead of mind? Then I should fully agree with your post.
The same goes for TVOS, but he used the world consciousness instead of mind:

Quote...she was able to travel and witness with verification of the events "outside" her body. So how could consciousness not travel when she is clinically dead...

Can you define me what is mind and what is consciousness?
#109
"Absorbing attention in the inner noise field" is my favorite method for OBEing. It's good for silencing the mind and giving auto-suggestions too. Nada yogis say that your should avoid to concentrate on noises that come from your left side, yet I never hear them other than in the center of my head.

Through this holy noise you perceive and control your own brain and consciousness. I believe the more you're able to absorb your mind in this noise field the more control you have on your brain. Generally, low piched noises are good for deepening sleep while high pitched noises are for keep your consciousness intact. As for OBEs, I can estimate my chance of success by sampling the noise during the day. Also, when I'm close enough I try to switch paralyisis on by getting out of the way of and letting some pulsating hars noises that break into my mind. In a latent form they are always present and I often seek for ways to lock my attention on them.

Apparently you are well on your way! I don't want you to rely only on good luck which of course I wish you. Let your coherence increase and your enthusiasm never stop!

Consciousness goes nowhere that's for sure. But attention moves and energy may follow it. Otherwise, without "exteriorised" energy, interaction wouldn't be possible. And I see no other way for perception than interaction.

Even if projection is possible without interaction all this doesn't matter when we come to talk about the dangers. As you can heal yourself though projections so you can gather "wrong information" too which then could destruct your system.

Most of my hitchhikers couldn't talk. They just mumble nonsenses. Others could talk but wouldn't or rarely do more than using basic emotions. They slowing me down as they use me as means to travel. They make flying difficult and set a particular dream mood. I suppose they are stationary somewhere and only a part of them which "travels by me." It's like flying a kite.

Hitchhikers may be more frequent visitors than people think. Most of them should be projected and personified part of the psyche. The best way to check if any is near is to going through a narrow window preferably after separation. It's more difficult to move between dream bubbles when they are present. Observing how the dream body feels while going through the gap would help a lot to spot them out.

They usually are attached to the back of the dream body probably as a means to symbolize the peripheral stance they have within dreaming consciousness. For the first glance they may be felt as a pack-sack at the upper part of the back. They are hiding from me. A clever one may even start to whisper to not take notice of them. Those that are able to move me against my will are attached around the navel and below.

Once I had one taken off that looked like a multi-colored cocoon. As I focused my attention on it my house opened into another dream bubble. A funny old man came over. He was very busy in telling jokes and eating out my fridge. He quickly made me lost all my lucidity.

Hitchhikers are quite universal in OBE and I'm sure they have many types. If they are partly installments of spiritual supervisors that enter the energy body "from above" traditional shielding tricks may not work with them, neither needed of course. Perhaps the reason why hitchhikers seem malevolent at the first place is just due to our poor perception and fear.

QuoteFor some reason, I feel in peace and I spontaneously express my gratitude to the guides who follow me (usually I express this after meditation or projection attempt). [...] I say/hear something like "ready? now, turn back and go away to complete the projection" [...] I noticed like a continuous low-pitch sound in my right ear, that pulsated according to heartbeat.
It seems like you were triggered from outside. I mean by something that is outside of your current self. It could be either another person or your Higher or future (more exactly, your potential) self. Anyway, it's quite a method so I'd keep with it as long as it gives results.
QuoteWhat should I do not to wake up during the loop?
Don't do the loop, lol. Try to roll out instead.
QuoteAlso, what is this low pitch sound in the right ear? should I focus on it and try to re-induce OBE?
Definitely, it's an excellent method, I can assure you.

QuoteI raised my hand to my chest and jabbed myself hard in the chest making a zapping sound and imagining thousands of volts of electricity shooting from my hand through me into the thing attached to me. I could hear crackling and I could feel static electricity coursing and popping all over my body. The feeling of the thing faded and I could move freely. I sat bolt upright and flipped on the light. Everything was normal and whatever it was was long gone. This has been the first experience in a LONG time that got to me but I am not realizing more and more that I HAVE THE POWER!

Knightligh, sure you have the power but what if that's exactly what our hitchhikers want, our excitement, our attention, our energy?

I had many weird experience with hitchhikers. I still doesn't know what they are, fragments of my ever-integrating self, or parasites, or both. Yesterday, for example, I had one again. As always, I got it after separation, but for a change, it came from the front. It quickly attached itself to the area just above my willy and put me into motion. As it throwed me out of the room it was well on its way to take shape. I didn't want to fight so I just woke myself up.

Unfortunately, mp3 files sometimes have an incorrect ID3 tag and files marked as 'joint stereo' are actually coded in 'stereo' or vice versa. Anyway, I don't think that APF supports piracy. I do, however, so if you're a little adventurous you can check your files for yourself. I advice you to use GoldWave for this. Download it from goldwave.com. If you like download crack too, but it isn't necessary.

First, create a new stereo sound (ctrl+N) in GW with the sampling rate of 1500Hz, the length is doesn't matter. Press F11 to see the proprieties of the control panel and on the the record tab mark the check box for 'monitor input.' On the 'volume' tab select 'stereo mix' and pop up the volume to the max.

Put the control panel in full-screen mode. Now you should see two rectangular box that represent the two channel of the audio. You should do the followings with both of these boxes. First right click on them, then select 'spectrum' (later you may want to use 'spectrogram' too) then right click again and select 'proprieties.' On the proprieties tab select 'fixed frequency range' and enable axis. Then set the frequency range from 0Hz to 250Hz, for example.

Now start to play the mp3 file in WinAmp then use alt+tab to switch back to GW. You see the spectrum of the audio in the 0 to 250 Hz range, both on left and right channel at the same time. You should see peaks at around 50Hz, 100Hz and/or 200Hz. These are typical carrier frequencies of binaural frequencies that TMI uses.

> If the file is encoded in stereo the two peaks on the two channel have to be slightly displaced. If you're not sure about this set the frequency range narrow. The displacement in Hz is the frequency of the carried binaural stimulus at that given carrier frequency (for example 50, 100, 200).

> If the file encoded in 'joint stereo' you see double peaks at each channel.

hope this helps,

Of course, Tombo, I was not talking about you in particular. I've just mentioned a trend I'm not an exception of. Having a "real" RTZ OBE is not easy for me.

By "real" RTZ OBE I mean a state when I have no body at all. I just slide in the air as a pinpoint or blob, mostly along surfaces and electrical wires. It's a mix of sliding and jumping actually. Sometimes I am able to see the insides and outsides of objects at the same time, quite weird but seems natural in that state, or have an all encompassing panoramic view.

I don't consider other experiences RTZ OBE. In my view there are lucid dreams. Not "just" lucid dreams, however, because more similar the "hallucinated" environment of a LD to an actual physical place, the more condensated the "energy body" (sensory energy field that realizes itself directly from the physical vacuum) at that place.

In a typical fake OBE, the energy body is an amorf cloud, so to speak, with many seeds and spours that interprenetates all the physical places that the vision of that given dream encompasses. However, if you manage to dream about only one place and with high accuracy, the energy body become very dense and starts to perceive (interact with) physical objects. It fluctuates though, and when temporairly collapses, reality wavers.

RTZ OBEs are such as they are. However, if you want to explore in the style of the son of a space ship and an interdimensional jellyfish you have to first develop your RTZ attention.

A close to RTZ attention is optimal to have the energy body configuration that enable you to isolate the electromagnetic structures through the Earth is connected to the rest of the Universe.

You may begin with the object inspecting method I described in this tread. It's a simplified version of the outdoor exercises of my fluctucondensation practices.

However,  you'd better to begin with the indoor exercises I wrote about in my RTZ guide. For this, you need to get back in the dream version of the room where you sleep, or a place you know very well. You have to memorize it. You can induce an OBE-like dream too by falling in the twin position and separate in your bedroom. Then you do the indoor exercises.

The indoor exercises are enough for having a close to RTZ attention since the outdoor exercises mainly consists directed series of zooms to further condensate the energy body in the RTZ. It's quite unnecessary to describe them since after you have done the indoor parts you will know what to do.

After you lost your legs settle down on a tall building and command yourself out loud that you want to see those portal structures. They will appear on the horizon as strange buildings or symbols or whatever that suits for you.

You may find yourself looking upon a surreal landscape, or  immersed with in an abstract space filled with space ship like things. Whatever will be the case, you could zoom now. Focus on an object for more than a couple of seconds and let the force accelerate you. The main thing is that you shouldn't try to fly on your own otherwise you'll be disappointed, finding yourself hovering near a miniature city or something you can't enter. Alternatively, you may fly upwards until reality changes. Who knows where you will end up?

P.S. Twin position and arousal levels are defined at ld4all.com. I'm popov there.

I often use this "looking beyond the light patterns then beyond all the brain farts as they were layers before my eyes" trick. Basically this is the same I was talking about in the thread where we shared tricks for the F2 to F3 transition. You immobilize your eyes and disregard hallucinations.  You separate your visual interest from the actual direction of your eyes. But most importantly, it's neglecting brain farts. (Oh, how I like this term, brain farts, braaaain farts.)

Anyway, I wrote this someone not so long ago [edited]:

Also, you need a focal point to concentrate on. It could be a part of the body, or a function of it, like breathing, or inner noises, lights whatever that's available at that moment, stable enough yet changes on the way. If you want an OBE type experience, for example, you should keep in touch with the internal sounds and vibrations. Then you would consciously realize the moment when the inner body starts to lose up. Similarly, if you want to phase you need to look beyond the light patterns you see behind your closed eyes as a sustained "effort" for trying to connect with something beyond.

I found that there are two components of our attention which specifically distinguish OBE induction from concentrative meditation. Besides a highly focused thread of attention, that should remain focused on something, there is another, more broad and open form that's specific for projection.

Feeling of expansion, delocaliedness, peripheric ciausl interest, or hearing music from static noises are similar forms of attention. A related exercise is looking into the reflection of my eye in a mirror without blinking while I  keep my interest at the utmost periphery of the visual field. For some reason, perhaps by recreating the conditions of natural hypnagogia this exercise inject my face into regular hypnagogic pictures but somehow link it to the waking consciousness so I become conscious when I see it. A very good exercise before sleep indeed.

Pretending of seeing something bright in the distance, through a window, is very good too. This is an induction method. As long as you can sustain to pretend you actually perceive something in a quasi visual form but not forcing to have a "real vision" you will get bursts of 3D pictures. It's very important to absorb your attention on the border or the window through you let yourself to see something. The real trick is to have the unquestionable assurance that there is something out there and fixating it in its pre-visual form yet not trying by all means to see it as a "real picture." Does it makes sense?

One actual realization of this dual focus, I use very often, consists three attention. While I center myself in the solar plexus and observe the melody of inner noises, I place my visual interest on the periphery of my inner screen. Trying to look behind this layer I absorb one part of my attention in the periphery of the visual field pretending that I'm looking upwards into a great expanse. That is, dissociating my visual interest from the actual direction of my eyes by feeling myself inside a cone that rapidly expands into the sky above my head.
#117
My best was three hours I think, in real time of course. Being immersed in a deep focus you have much more time.

If you want to wake up touch your solar plexus repeatedly on your dream body until is starts to pulse on its own, then fly off from the ground and command yourself to spin back into the exact same position of your sleeping body.

You may need to disconnect your attention from the dream by focusing on your palm while you do this to ensure a totally passive flight.

Your dream body will either wobbling around in mid air like a falling leaf before it lands somewhere taking gradually the position of your sleeping body, or in a case of an OBE you may spin back right into your body.

Then try to wingle your toes.

You don't need to buy fancy blindfolds. My socks do the work anyway.
#119
Now I almost feel guilty studying something for years, that even doesn't exist. Anyway, at first I too was thinking it's just a symbol, but nevertheless I got hooked. Later I read some articles that was totally in line with my experiences, so I could say with total conviction, the silver chord is not much more a belief construct than your guts are, for example. Just because you have never experienced it doesn't mean it doesn't exist.

As far as I know there are at least three factor that have to meet within a single dream in order to enable you to perceive the silver chord. First, you have to have an OBE-like dream, that is, starting dreaming by having the feelings of separation from the sleeping body. Secondly, the experience needs to be "etheric." In a typical "etheric OBE" you're blind and have difficulties with moving away from your body. Thirdly, you have to be observant enough not just crawling away in a hustle. You have to try to figure out what causes the pull that impede your movements. By simply turning back and probing around with your dream hand you could get the dream interpretation of the pull as a chord like organ.

In my experiences (as in many others) it appear like a smooth, rubber like cable, somewhere between 2 and 5 cm in diameter, connected to the solar plexus slightly outflaring. If I place my hand on it my hand moves toward my sleeping body (which I couldn't see in this state). I'm blind in this state but able to hear noises from the waking world in a distorted, sometimes echoed form while the cable excerts a strong and somehow ruthless pull on my dream body rendering it to a weigh less puppet. For some reason it's very tempting to give up the attempt in this state, however, the pull decreases quickly by distance, and eventually no superhuman will be needed for the escape.

I've noticed that the cable's attachment point has the tendency to move upwards by time and distance. Actually, the solar plexus cable is just the first recognizable shape of an amorphous flow that appear below the navel at separation. It's made by a bunch of rubber like tiny filaments embedded in a honey like mass and made separation very difficult. Later it shifts upwards, becomes narrow and turn into the shape of a cable at the level of the solar plexus. I will either fall forward out from the pull or having the connection point move further upwards. When it reaches the upper part of the chest on the dream body, I get ordinary dream vision and found myself in a state quite similar to the previous case.

After the attachment point reaches my neck the cable doesn't seem to be real anymore. Satisfying all my expectations and slowly changing its shape as one of the ordinary dream pictures could remain for a while though. The dreaming mind just couldn't let go of something so easy that was perceived. In this state I can bend it, rip it apart or even eat the cable. This is, I suppose, how most projector experience it. At first, it appears at the periphery of their awareness yet they don't realize its presence consciously because they are not observant. Other parts of their mind, however, does and made the cable part of the dream after REM start.

There are other types of the chord, more thinner, that usually doesn't connect to the body's middle line but rather has to do something with greater muscle groups. A couple of times after I have woken up from such an experience found groups of twitching muscles in my arm, right at the place where the thin cables was connected to my dream body. I think the cable is both a dream interpretation of a regressive flow that save the displaced bioplasm back to the organism and the lacing point of the somatosensory phantom through it protrudes from the inner representation of the body. This state is made possible by the faulty work of the neuromatrix, a functional unit of the brain that responsible for the generation of the internal body image. Coupled with the brain resistance for changing arousal, these things are deeply interconnected and may appearing in dreams as "silver chord."

Hello knighlight,

Quite an elaborate description of your personal hypnagog themes, I'd say, very interesting. I think I have no such theme except some rare guests like seeing digital displays or my alarm clocks in the darkness, or holes through I watch something in the distance, maybe windows, my face, the sun, the moon, stars. Anyway, why do you think that trying to keep negative afterimages is beneficial for your phasing practice? I ask this because I think quite the opposite.

If we talk about the same thing, of course, the negative pictures are likely just due to some remaining excitation in the visual cortex. They should be close to the phosophenes in nature: undulating light structures in the visual chaos we see behind our closed eyes. Are you agree?

For me, only very mature pictures could leave similar blobs after they disappeared. Their most brighter parts remain for seconds. Could be my lame version of your stable negative pictures. But I always thought these images as to be more useless than those that 9981 call "brain farts."

So I used to direct my attention away from them, directly to the feeling I've been having while I've been seeing them. Or at least beyond the entopic screen because when I see pictures I feel myself being centered rather in the middle of my head then at my eyes. I doubt we could ever describe this particular direction in words, but I'm sure it is far away from the body, and things like breathing, vibrations, buzzes, electric surges, noises, etc.

It should be beyond the entopic visions too where your negative pictures apparently belongs to. They are more related though, since concentrating on after images is proved to be an extremely good practice for phasing. But when a real picture, brain fart or not, just have disappeared, I could definitely think up better directions to look into.
#121
With few exceptions all my OBEs occured while I was sleeping on my stomach. I sleep on my back only when I want a deep, restful sleep.
#122
Recently I've done some frequency analysis on Focus 21 tapes and confirmed my hypothesis that F21 belongs to a very active brain state similar to REM sleep.

Due to the fact that F21 is the last focus associated with the body, you could experience the fact from the first hand: the brain needs more oxygen in F21.
#123
What for? Everyone want to phase in to F3 because RTZ is boring. Although what most people call here RTZ OBE is usually a plain lucid dream, RTZ OBEs could be indeed boring. But the fact is, without the ability to project into the RTZ you can't reach explore other realities.

Maybe you can have lucid dreams about it, and you can switch your focus into the regio where dead people lives, F3 yes or whatever - still boring after a while. Anyway, what is boredom? It's a state of mind. Curse of the social welfare, luxury of the week minded. I bet explorers are never bored.

The possibility for having some genuine exploration simply lies in our ability to project into the RTZ, to get in tune with those structures through the Earth is connected to the rest of the Universe - not in your ability of  being good psychiatrist of dead but bored people.

Anyway, you need the small blackness for F1 to F2 transition. It's phasing. You doesn't really change your arousal rather you just switch your focus. On the other hand the F2 to F3 transition requires your brain to slip into delta sleep, where the great blackness comes forth.

This is what you did recently, I've read your post at ld4all. You have moved directly from level four to level zero by doing your disconnection trick. You have been fired out "through the top of your head," so to speak, through your crown chakra, and found yourself in the great darkness, Fz

The Fz corresponds with a highly unpacked configuration of the energy body. The "energy body" I'm talking about realizes itself directly from the physical vacuum and use it for moving like a wrinkle does on a table-cover. It represent only a segment on the consciousness continuum and seems to be highly independent from the body and its bioplasm appendage.

When you dreamt about the Fz your energy body had a size commensurable with the Earth's circumference. All portal structures of the Earth system were within yourself. Your energy body remained somewhat spatially incoherent, hence your inability to perceive F3 in human terms. You just had to change your focus by placing your intent and zoom away.

I already described my trick in this thread how to keep coherence while you attain the F2 to F3 transition. The trick is to keep the pictures of real objects only as you gradually immobilize your physical eyes and exit REM sleep.

If Frank's slat method works for everyone it rather has the dynamic the disconnection trick you did by sleeping within a dream without using the twin position. Alternatively, you may try to establish a close-to-RTZ perception (see my RTZ guide) then you could zoom away from the RTZ.

This is not equivalent with phasing into F3 though. It's also about travelling in space as we know it.
#124
Keep in mind also, that in dreams anything can appear. So watch out of your expectations otherwise Frank would manifest out from F4 in the suite of the pope and roll away those slates for you.
#125
That throbbing sensation is expected. According to my research the heart chakra is the projection of the thalamus. The thalamus' reticular nucleus is often referred to as a gate of sensory information flow to the cortex because every sensory input (except the olfactory) have to go through it before becomes a conscious sensation.

Actually the reticular nucleus of the thalamus is often described as an organ with heart like intrinsic activity. It internally generates its own pulsations that are modulated by cortical activity. When the cortex sleeps the reticular nucleus get out of inhibition, and starts to generate more synchronous pulses. These pulses closes the sensory channel and shut off the cortex even more completely.

The closure happens all the time when the depth of slumber reaches a threshold. After the sensory gate closes in the 2nd stage of sleep you won't be able to feel your physical body neither to hear anything that's external. Without appropriate feedback the internal representation of the body comes out of alignment with the sleeping posture as dream body.

At first I usually hear surges of inner noises and feel pulsating pressures in my head. My task is then to let these noises and pulsations unite into a harsh continuous buzz by further relaxing my body and mind and by focusing into a specific direction within my consciousness. Pushing myself upwards through the center of my head will help. After the noises peaked silence comes accompanied by various degree of mild buzz in the background. At this point I can "separate." If you look ahead you would find yourself in the 3D blackness or Fz or whatever.

The buzz people hear after this point is simply caused by synchronous activity of neurons in the auditory cortex. This synchronization deepens with sleep. Basically, the more stronger the buzz the more deeper stage of sleep you are in. However, if your attention directed elsewhere you will not be aware of the noises at all or your brain interpret them as music.

Other people may feel the pulsations on the middle of their chest area when their senses shut down due to the connections that exist between the thalamus and the neuromatrix. Those people should be more better at gathering bodily vibrations in the heart center if they want to free up their somatosensory phantom. Call this energy rising if you want.

This phantom doesn't separate within the physical space as we know it because this body is information not energy or matter. It is "just" the dream body we are always inside. However, when your solar plexus is quite active, something could really separate from your body with its felt detachment, even just temporarily. Real time zone projections has little or nothing to do with this leakage though.

Every serious energy practitioner will know that up to the solar plexus a couple of energy centers exist that are actually in use of gathering and accumulating external energy. Atmospheric ions like to accumulate within the abdominal blood pool of the guts. They will excite local nerve endings connected to midbrain structures as part of the neuromatrix that are in interaction with acetylcholinergic cells of the brainstem. Some of these brainstem cells have the task of switching REM sleep on. They provide energy for dreaming. And according to its latest phrasing, phasing is simply another label for wake induced lucid dreams.
