Blah, no matter how foolish you might think your question is after you have posted it, please do not go back and delete it (unless it is really offensive or something, but this one was not). We are all at different levels of development and understanding as well as have different ideas. No question is foolish that is formed out of a true desire to seek an answer to it.

I am not expert, but I can see auras sometimes if I try, mostly my own though because I feel weird if I stare at other people. What are you seeing exactly? Is it just a thin outline around the person/thing/etc. that looks sort of white and hazy? If so you might be seeing the etheric body and not really the aura. The etheric is pretty easy to see and is what you will usually see first when you are training to see auras. It sounds like you are well on your way and should be able to see color soon. Just keep at it, and try not to be too surprised when a color suddenly flares up around what you are looking at.

You can reach the state of california without using the drug 'car', but you wont get there as fast.

So which is the goal, the speed or reaching your destination? Atleast by not using the car drug I don't have to worry about getting a speeding ticket. lol It is also not illegal to be in possession of a car. By going on foot it is a lot more likely that I will see, experience, and learn a lot more along the way.

At my workplace they do random drug tests and I seem to get picked atleast once every few months. So for me, using illegal drugs is not really an option.

I will give you that most of the propaganda is not entirely true and that some drugs do have benefits. But the truth is that not everyone is responsible with drugs which can be dangerous to themself and others depending on the drug. This also does not change the fact that there are laws about drugs, and reguardless of how beneficial they may be for you, you will still have to face the law if caught breaking it. You don't need drugs to have these experiences, just practice. It is all inside you.

It should also be noted that in Astral Dynamics Robert Bruce says that of those people that had really bad experiences, they were using some kind of drugs during the experiences. Now this does not mean that just because you use drugs that you will have bad experiences, but it does seem to increase the chances.

Point of view, it is everything. To you and your mom it is just jokes and subtle hints. To him it could well be seen as nagging. Those suble hints every now and then can become very annoying. Instead try what GhostRider suggests and just talk it out. Subtle hints usually do nothing, especially in situations like this.

Escapism is underrated. Sometimes loosing yourself in a video game or a good book can give yourself much needed rest from your problems. It all really depends on the problem as to how to deal with it. Many things are probably not as bad as you think and only require a little time to smooth itself out. I guess I have never been in a major crisis and honestly I do not know what I would consider a major crisis. Your point of view is a major factor. It all depends on how you view it. Either you can get really work up about something, or you can take it in stride and realize that it is not that big of a deal, especially when you look at the big picture.

Just moving your awareness to your third eye will draw energy to it and eventually "open" it. But it is best to keep yourself balanced and work with your entire energy body and your other chakras as well.

I do not know how but I have heard that it is possible to bring things to the physical, so maybe it is possible. It would not make a good souvenir though as objects from other planes have a high tendancy to return to their plane of origin. So even it if you could bring something back, it would not stay here for very long. This is all from reading other sources and not from actual experience so who knows.

President Bush (current) wants to use Nuclear weapons in his war on terrorism. These will go off underground, which to the uneducated person sounds ok, because they tell you that all the radiation will be contained in the ground. But many, if not most, people with knowledge in this field disagree and think the fall out will be much worse than having it explode in the air like those in Japan. So no, I do not think that the nuclear test is over. As long as there are nuclear weapons there is always a threat, especially when you have people in power that want to use them.

Jesus said that NO ONE will know the time when this will take place. So why are some many people trying to figure out the time when Jesus said no one will know?

I think it depends on who you ask. I think in general OBEs refer to etheric projection, or projecting into the Real Time Zone, and Astral Projection is projecting to the Astral Plane. Though I do see them substituted for each other so really you have to take them in context with what the poster is talking about.

You are right. We all belief something in one way or another. The danger is when one is closed minded in their belief and refuse to grow or even consider contrary beliefs. Here on the physical we cannot see the whole picture, so how can one claim to know it all?

Almost all teenagers think they are better than the older generations. It is part of what being a teenager is about, usually, atleast in the US. Who as a teenager did not think that they were better or knew more than their parents? Then you grow up and realize that you are not the bad butt you thought you were.

True, Hephaestus, but science does not really know for sure and it is all pretty much a guess. I have heard it is anything from what you meation to light trapped within your eyes to retina damage. Believing everything that scientists tell us is the same as blindly following a religion. Science is always changing as they learn more. After doing a little research I was surprised to find that most things that science will have us believe is absolute fact is only based on guesses and assumptions with little to no actual facts. We think that we know a lot when in reality we know very little.

I do not know why it happens. In Astral Dynamics, Robert Bruce says that some people find that they are stuck to their physical bodies where they have some jewelry, such as a necklace, piercing, watch, etc. Though for some it makes no difference.

I suggest that if this happens consistantly then don't wear the necklace when you want to dream.

From my experience the astral is very much beyond words. So it is probably impossible for us to understand what is really meant by "in moonlight" only having heard about this and not actually communicated with this person(your friends brother). Your friend my have an idea if he truly was in communication with his brother, as such communication usually goes beyond words and I imagine that his brother would have "showed" him what he meant.

Practice stilling your mind, silencing all those random thoughts that pop in your mind throughout the day. They can be very distracting when it comes time to meditate and project, and sometimes they can be misleading. When you have control over these thoughts then it makes it a bit easier to tell what is what. Atleast you can more easily rule out your own thoughts when you hear something.

I think it is likely that he did have sex and possibly was married. There is a lot of his life, most of it in fact, that is not in the Bible.

It could be that the homosexual view in the OT was more a view of society than of God. In the OT the Jews were a small group surrounded by much more populated groups who they did not get along with very well. So they needed numbers in order to have a better chance at surviving. Homosexual couples could not add to the population and so were frowned upon, possibly making its way into a religious view.

I really do not see where homosexual acts are condemmed other than by I believe it is Paul. I find this man to be too judgemental and not very much in line with what Jesus taught on many things. Jesus never said one way or other specifically. I think that it does not really matter who you choose to partner with as long as it is based on love.

Homosexuality is not about just sex any more than heterosexuality is.

I have seen the trailers. The movie looks cool. Maybe a Blade type movie as far as action goes. Hard to say since most trailers only give you the action and tell you little about any story. A chic in black kicking butt is hot. Go see it.
