I am 25. I will be 26 in November.

Nick, if it does not bother you to do so, I (and probably others on the forum) would appreciate it if you would post the more detailed version here. And if you do not mind telling, about how much did you pay for it?

Do not think about your physical body. Ignore it completely. Do not even think about ignoring your physical body. Just clear your mind of your physical body completely. Thinking about your phyiscal body can quickly bring you back into it, especially at this stage.

No, it just proved what I have thought all along, that there is more beyond the physical. Actually my first experience did not do a lot for me. I had no idea what had happened so I just sort of pushed it to the back of my mind until later when I found out what had happened and started practicing to project.

That is very interesting. Did you have an interest in the band before your dreams? I have had dreams in which there were people that I knew and felt I had a known them all my life but have never met in my waking life. I have had dreams where I have had relationships with other people. I have lived entire life times within a single night of dreaming. I have never actually tried to see if any of these things exist on the physical, and usually it is impossible as names are almost always lost when I wake up on the physical.

I am not sure what your dreams could mean. What do you think they mean? I am one that thinks that dreams are OBEs/Astral Projects, and that the main difference is your consciousness and control during the experience.

I believe in karma as cause and effect. Every action has a reaction, everything has an effect on something else. If reincarnation is true, I doubt that you will have to pay for things in the next life for what you have done in this life as people tend to present it. I do think that you shape who you are. If you are a hateful person, then you will continue to be until you change and deal with all the things that being a hateful person brings, which may carry over into several life times. I also see karma as natural law. An example would be, we cut down trees, burn and pollute our atmosphere, this in turn decreases our air quality and environment causing more sickness, etc. I don't see it as every little action will come back to us, but the more effort and energy you put towards something the more it will effect you. Like if someone is always helpful and loving they are more likely to have this returned to them. Somene who is always dishonest will soon not be trusted by others. Karma is the natural law that we all know, but take for granted that it is there.

I have not seen an atom, atleast to my knowledge. But I do not think you can truly see an atom. When you see something you are seeing reflected light not the actual object. Atoms are smaller than light, or they are actually what make up light. So how can you see something that cannot reflect light because it is light? When out of body, I do not think that you actually see things, but you perceive them and turn what you sense into visual information. If you did shrink down and "look" at an atom, it would not really be how it "looks" but you could perceive how it is. You might perceive it as visual, but it would only be a representation of how it is, not how it really looks. That is what I think anyway.

And if I would actually stick with it my eyesight would be a lot better I am sure. I found slight improvement with slight amount of practice, so I figure a lot of improvement is possible with a lot of practice. You know the funny thing, I sort of stopped doing it, not because I thought it would not work but because I was afraid it would work too well. I can not afford to buy new glasses/contacts every few months as my eyes improve. LOL Silly of me really, but I was afraid of how it would turn out. I suggest you read this book first, reguardless of what you plan on doing because it is a good read for anyone with eyesight problems.

But if you insist on the surgery, I have not had it done but everyone I have talked to said they are very happy and glad they had it done. Prices vary I am sure. I have not heard any recent prices but I know awhile back you could expect to pay a few thousand dollars to have both eyes done.

I do agree with you in part. I think it is wrong of those that never buy a CD but instead download all their music, entire CDs, etc and never pay anything for them. But I truly think that these people are in the minority. I think it is fine for people to share music so that they can sample before they buy. I would always hate buying a CD after hearing only one or two songs and thinking I would like the entire CD based solely on those songs. Then find out the rest of the CD is nothing like the songs I liked. I am in agreement with curiousgirl.

I am going to agree with Tab. I think it has more to do with your thoughts and emotions. Likes attract on the astral so you will usually find yourself in a place that mirrors you. If you find yourself in undesirable places when you project, try looking at yourself and see what the problem is and work on your thoughts and feelings. Having a lot of energy will help, especially with etheric projections.

Sounds like you have it figured out then. Though I do not know if you can ever fully be over being startled, but with practice hopefully you (and the rest of us) will be able to recover more quickly and stay calm and in control.

What exactly were/are you afraid of?

Aids are fine as long as they do not become crutches. In all honesty you do not need to spend more money to develop, especially since you have such great success already. If you truly wish to develop I think it would be best to move away from any devices and learn to do this on your own. No aids are necessary, so why spend more money on getting more. Learn to do it on your own. []

I have had several experiences such as this when I was trying this method. I have never been able to use it to project, but I have been able to move my consciousness to the ceiling as you describe. I would not say it is good or bad, but it seems to indicate that you are becoming more skilled with moving your awareness away from your body. Either relax more and keep this up or try something else. Go with what feels right to you, as everyone is different and different methods work for different people. You will just have to experiment and see what works.
