well now that is a pickle. Even if someone had reached these higher planes of existence outside the comprehension of the physical mind, they would still not be able to explain such a thing to those around them. The only way to find out the answer is to experience it yourself.

You are correct it is shocking how small humans are in the scale of things which are not even on a scale as they are endless...:S.

Just imagine how spectacular it would be to not only extend yourself beyond the comprehension of mankind, but also be able to travel to those other countless planes beyond the comprehension of even the highest life form. Now thats farfetched.

throughout life, like most people, I have heard many stories where good and evil clash and battle to the finish. I can now appreciate the beauty of these stories as such a thing is rare maybe even impossible in real life. My opinion was based on the belief that good and evil are a force that battle throughout our lives in mysterious ways. From what you said to me I understand that this is true, though good and evil are not so much force but perception which can be just as powerful. I hope that makes sense.

forgive me for replying late to a previous question. and also forgive me for not being clear enough. Only someone who has attained such a high level of consciousness has the right to choose existence or not...and by saying "wiped from existence" I mean totally no consciousness is left your totally gone.

If every single emotion was illusion then in the afterlife you would feel them no more. I heard that the higher planes and the afterlife were filled with peace, love and contentment, if I'm not mistaken they are emotions.

I am glad we have agreed on something. Through this discussion we have come to understand eachother more which is what i aim for in a discussion. I also can have that same problem with some of the people that govern mankind, but at least such a problem teaches us to be careful with what we know and what we do with it.

if the whole concept of good and evil is just perspective and the emotions we experience through our life just illusions...I fail to see a point to life at all. Everything we do in our lifetime is pointless if all it creates are perceptions and illusions. Well thats just how I would feel if i believed that.

that must put evil at an advantage...to spread chaos it has the choice of tempting good to destroying evil and the choice to just try and destroy good.
all good can do is defend whatever it can. do you think that's right?

personally if i ever attained such a great knowledge that it would change the whole perspective of mankind, I would not wish for any reward or recognition. As you said to be thought of as a prophet can be a worse path than making profit.

I would welcome such a thing. If somebody was recieving all the praise and recognition it would draw attention away from myself and I would be left to live out my life. I believe knowledge should be given for the good of mankind not for the good of ones ego.

i apologize for lack of an example. Though since i typed that last post it did get me thinking.

For example, it was at first ridiculed when it was said that the world is not flat though later on in time it became a well known fact.

Allow me to rephrase what i previously said...they will ridicule you and it may just destroy what physical life you have, though in the future your knowledge will be greatly appreciated but you will not be around to reap the rewards. I guess informing others of great knowledge is a kind of selfless service to humanity and the loss of reputation is seen as a sacrifice on your part. Your own soul thrives from such acts and consequently you are spiritually greatly rewarded.

So i guess any knowledge you have, for the greater good tell anyone you can for it may well be invaluable in the future and you will be doing yourself a deal of good in the long run.

now that makes a lot of sense. But say the soul failed against the strength of the ego. Would the soul ever choose to regress back to the animal stage or anything like that? I was very impressed with your reply thank you very much it cleared alot of things up.

well hi I'm only just turned 16 but I've been reading about all things spiritual ever since i was around 12. I can astral project pretty well and have bin able to for nearly two years now. I know I'm young compared to most others but I also put in indescribable effort to achieve what i wanted. Other websites have shunned me due to young age so I was a little nervous when i first came onto this site but I see here people are friendly knowledgeable and understanding. This is a great place aye?

but of course knowledge should not be distributed just for the sake of personal gain.

I think it all depends on what kind of knowledge you are on about. If it's silly things such as the latest news and views then i guess it wouldn't' matter if you chose to keep it to yourself or if you chose to tell others. However, if the knowledge is something such as the answer to all existence and the meaning of life, then you may choose to tell others of this knowledge but it is most likely they will reject it and ridicule you for it.

if such a thing were to be true then it would surely give me the the inspiration to aspire in my physical life to ensure such a thing would never happen to me. Just the thought of eternal damnation or continuous loop is frightening beyond belief.

I'm just curious on peoples thoughts on what separates good from evil. What are their main differences. are they opposites or enemies? things like that.

i read somewhere that if a particular person is totally evil and over hundreds of lifetimes refuses to learn his/her lesson, that the guides and helpers feel that the only salvation of the soul is if it were to regress down the evolutionary path back to the animal stage or maybe even the mineral stage until the soul is prepared for the human mind once again. I also read that when a soul experiences this regression, it is a most tormenting and painful experience.

do animals and minerals have the essence of the soul within them? would such a thing happen as punishment for such a hefty amount of bad karma or is it just an extreme method of helping a soul?

I always thought the only true release from karma is if you became enlightened. Until then I'm afraid you have to live through your life and whatever your karma throws at you, you must learn and grow from it and of course maybe set some good karma up for yourself through selfless acts and dedication to your duties etc

maybe at the point of death or in the extreme event of astral projection, a "negs" as they are called here may be able to convert you to be one of them. This of course would only happen if your spiritual self would pose a threat the negs in question which would need a hell of alot of power to change the essence of your soul. A near impossible occurrence indeed.

also it is possible if you have lead a good enough life, to choose to return to the source and have your soul totally broken down and remade anew with no record of karma or previous life. This also would change the essence of your soul.

Supposedly it is possible to have your soul broken down and not be remade thereby you are wiped from existence. But still a new soul would be made in replacement to the obliterated one.

usually i don't have deja vus but every now and then on any random day i will have about 3 or 4 of them and they're very strange and last about a minute.

When this happens i feel slightly dizzy and like I'm in a dream...does anybody else get those feelings?

I'm not sure however if its a spiritual thing or if the brain is just more mysterious then i thought :S though i do have to admit as was previously stated i do feel like a deja vu is a kind of signpost that I'm heading towards something or that I'm on the right path.

i don't know about keeping journals or anything like that but it seems as if it is a very effective way to get in touch with your higher self.

I got very into this during my earlier years when i was about 13 and 14. I practically dedicated my life to becoming one with my higher self or even just getting a taste of it. I lost focus on my schoolwork and was always constantly reading and trying new things in order to accomplish what i wanted. One day during meditation, my efforts were rewarded and i caught that glimpse of my higher self. It was a state of boundless love and peace and, as was previously stated, you feel one with everyone and everything in existence. Quite a powerful experience for a young teenager. This small taste of perfection and purity changed me for the better and totally turned my life around. Now I lead a very peaceful life, I find things such as arguments and fighting pointless and with this in mind i get along well with others, have a decent job and all things in later life that once terrified me as a child, now seem as a walk in the park.

...maybe i should of just kept a journal I think I'll start recommending that to others when they ask me from now.

i haven't read the whole of this topic as it is many a page long but from what I've read it seems there was much question about 2012.

from what i read its something to do with the Mayans and their really really long mathematical prediction on the end of the world. Also the 23rd or 25Th of December 2012 is a big event for some reason about our galaxy finishing a full cycle and starting a new or something like that.

i read about this a good year ago so i apologize for my cloudy and confusing post. I hope somebody gets what i mean :S

i have also tried to find my self but as was previously stated it is impossible to find your self unless you seperate yourself from it. But through all the meditation i found no answer, but i did find a feeling. This feeling seemed to be some kind of answer though it made no sense. I think the self is incomprehensible while we remain physically alive or alive on the astral planes. Maybe the answer lies higher up aye?

your extreme desire to leave your body may be whats stopping you from successfully projecting because you keep switching methods using your mind to much when it is meant to be in a relaxed state. For this i suggest reviewing all of those methods and pick just one to try out and see how well you go with it. If that particular method fails then the next day try a different one.

Astral projection can sometimes be a long process which requires much patience and study of any previous experiences or experiences of others. The twitching and slight movement of your astral body may be caused maybe because your trying to force it to happen instead of relaxing taking your time and letting it happen.

i had the same kind of problem when i first started trying to astral project but found a little more practice and patience was all that was needed.
