(it takes a while to get there, and then let it run through her, she may find them a) not as frightening and b)lessening. Its the hyperventilating that causes most of the attack, and all the blood rushing to vital organs. But regardless, if she can realize its not going to kill her and flow with it, it may help. Personally, I thank the Gods now for them because without them I wouldn't have had the experiences I did and continue to do. Not to say I'm not glad I don't suffer from it anymore :) I am.

The meaning of life is simply to eat pie. once you eat enough pie you die.

The human body is basically a battery and its output can be changed. It really doesn't have much to do with psi stuff... but then again if you can start generating 1000v at 1 amp let me know...

I know someone who is very close to me who has terrible panic attacks. It's somewhat disturbing in that she says it's like someone is chasing her, trying to kill her. I can see how this and a oobe could be linked in that your brain freaks way out so your conciseness decides to take a trip...

At any rate good luck,
-Luke

I think that we don't physically leave our bodies but that we move outside of the physical universe.

Think about this. If you do not move in the normal x y and z axis's but you move in time only you would still appear to physically move because the earth is moving in the x y and z!

Yes ok you have no idea what I mean. Let me try again. You are glued to a certain piece of space, the earth is moving around the sun and the sun is moving around the milky way and the milky way is moving out from the center of creation. If you move in only the time aspect and none of the others you still move to someone seeing you.

Or maybe I'm rambling if so I'm sorry...

Mind awake body asleep isn't 100% required to oobe but it makes it easier.

Of course getting into the Mind-awake, body-asleep state is not quite So easy to do. Though is sounds simple learning the 'trick' usually takes time.

Here is my theory:  The key is WILL. I suspect that MOST people are not aware of their projections because deep down, they really don't WANT to be aware of them.  Because the reality would be too much to bear, for many, many reasons.  Bringing that level of Awareness back down to the day-to-day requires you to be . . . shall we say, responsible, or faithful to that level of Awareness?  "Whew," we think, "too much work."  Our souls travel at night, but we black it out by morning.[|)]

You are totally right in my opinion the key is will. I had two spontaneous OOBE's  before I became interested in the mater. After I read about 5 books on the mater I decided I wasn't going to die, no one was going to steal my body, and that nothing too bad could happen to me so I decided that I wanted to project. It took about two weeks time to project consciously. I spent about 1 hour a night every two or three days till I did it. Looking back I think I put alittle too much stress on my energy system but non-the-less I I reached my goals threw blunt force...
quote:
And most people don't have the WILL to consciously OBE/AP. Most of you gave up meditating after 30 minutes of twiddling thumbs, right?  [:I]Maybe it lasted a week, and you didn't OBE, so you gave up.  Be honest everyone . . . how many of you have kept up your OBE practices faithfully for . . . say . . . even one year?  Faithfully and regularly, I mean.  Hardly any, I bet, because mundane life simply takes over.  But remember, YOU WILLED THAT YOUR MUNDANE LIFE WOULD TAKE OVER. You meant it.  You're not aware that you meant it, but you meant it!

My ability to consciously project has decreased over time but I've continued to try. Each time I've attempted it I've spent about an hour at it. Some times I have given up after about 30 minutes, if I'm not seeing any results, but overall I find one hour to be a fair amount of time. I spent three hours to gain my first OOBE. That's not three hours of doing nothing ether. That's three hours of concentration, most of the time I was imagining myself looking down at my physically body which for anyone who's tried that knows is tiring. I've been working with all this for about a year now.
quote:
Maybe I'll OBE tonight.  Test my theory.  I'll check in in the morning, 'kay?

Yes, indeed let us know!

I dream that I can fly on a weekly basis. Most of the time I can't get much higher than about 5 feet off the ground. 1/3 of these dreams are lucid dreams where I know I'm asleep. I know what you're talking about, in the dream it's so clear and simple to do. I seem to have alittle trouble flying around water and power lines however.

I've sunk down to the bottom of a few lakes. No worries though cause I don't have problems breathing under water ether...

I love dreams...

There is a lot of different idea's going around in here all at once. I think you're talking about the tectonic plates shifting. This is more likely than the earth flipping upside-down in space as far as my understanding of things.

The earth's plates are moving around all the time, just not very quickly. Some speculate that there are periods of rapid movement. I find this to be very possible.

If you read "Fingerprints of the Gods" by Robert Bauval, you will find that Einstien was asked to look at the possibility of physical crustal flips.  He put his huge abilities to work on it and came up with an answer that said not only is it very possible, but it must have also happened a number of times in the Earth's history. The conservative estimates for how devastating these events have been is currently 92%!! That also coincides with the estimations for the event that wiped out the dinosaurs and allowed the insignificant Mammals to eventually populate the planet.

I guess we will see, I'm not holding my breath though. I think mankind is much more likely to screw up things than anything else.

Sounds unlikely, but that's what's been going around regarding this whole idea. The pole shift can be avoided but from what Mayatnik and Parmenion have channeled and posted, it most likely will not be avoided. Some metaphysical things come into play, but if a large planet was to come around and align in a certain way with other planets and the sun, then the results here would be catastrophic. We're already experiencing worsening weather and more frequent earthquakes and volcano activity, and the sun is becoming more active when it shouldn't. And what do you think is causing all of this? All science even tries to account for is the water starting to bulge at the equator, which they attribute smugly to global warming. Earth being flung out into space and hurled into the sun is a just a bit more unlikely, Lunatic. [:)]
