When I was thinking about it I was actually pondering what would happen after physical death. After physical death it is likely that we go to the astral plane, and if we die there obviously there is nowhere to wake up to. Thanks for your replies.

I have a question relevant to this. Is the astral body eternal? If someone, say tries to kill you in the astral plane what would happen?

I think the falling sensation is often felt when the astral body reconnects with the physical body, most commonly when it comes back too fast.

Can you please rip the file to an mp3 and zip it like gnomad did with his file? If it's not too much trouble for you it would make it a lot easier to download and use.

I don't use Real player because it's choked full of spyware and can't export to external devices.

I used WinRAR and it worked.

But what do you open mp4 files with?

Alex
#133
I think with WinRAR

Thanks again for the file MrBurgo.

It sounds as though you should give meditation a shot first.

Thanx MrBurgo.

In your opinion, how does it compare with Boxed Nirvana II and Abyss?

Welcome to Astral Chat! / UNDER 18 AP goers

Hey, nice to meet you. I'm 18 and I'm currently studying Information and Communications Technology at Notre Dame University in Perth.
Where abouts in Australia are you from?

I was very interested in the Astral when I first learned about it, but it is currently a long term goal for me to astral project. I can program myself to wake up in a dream but find it almost impossible to consciously project. Of the times that I have become conscious (or at least semi-conscious) in a dream my memory of it has been close to nothing upon waking up and the actual experience was always very vague. This seemed to defeat the purpose of the whole practice. Consequently I am aiming to increase how clear and vivid my dreams are first and then give astral projection and lucid dreaming another shot.

Also, I am curious about how long you normally have to listen to a brainwave on BWG for it to have an effect?

The possible detriment to health is more concerning than addiction IMO.

Brainwaves could turn out to be significant in the future though.
However there is one element of brainwave technology that is often overlooked. If you are interested about it for your research let me know.

What I will say though is that in my personal experience I have been addicted to brainwaves about as much as I have been to coffee and chocolate.

I have a question that I have been curious about for a while:
Are brainwaves in any way harmful to your health?
Because we already know that some drugs are.

I think Freedom of Choice overstates itself as a book with "all the answers". Although I enjoyed some of the concepts discussed in it, it certainly does not provide a revolutionary concept on "the purpose of your own existence" and it's not something "YOU totally agree with" as a claimed "formula" for the universe.
In my personal opinion after reading it once, I found that much is abstracted and many relating problems with the theories presented are left without adequate analytical inspection.

Also, I purchased a Chakra shirt from Tom Chalko's website, and even though it doesn't work for me it looks totally awesome!

I wish I had a spell so that when I look at people they don't fear me...

Seriously though, you don't need a spell...
Moonburn is right, with self-esteem you won't have as many bullies and enemies.
If this is the only reason you want such a spell then you should simply stop revealing your weaknesses to your enemies and it will do the same thing... Self-esteem... is the key.

The only reason I'm making a comment is that I have heard of so many people who have encountered a female voice when a large amount of energy passes into their third eye chakra (usually as a result of kundalini). I have no idea what it is and haven't experienced it myself, but my guess is that it could be the Divine Mother Kundalini. If that's the case you shouldn't fear it.

The power of belief is often understated.

I would say no due to the fact that to be human is to act within the human condition. Atheists claim to have no intangible means of support but are still subject to the laws of the human condition, including moral law.
If it is appropriate to state that when we act in the image of God we act with love, generosity, sacrifice, courtesy ect. then it is accordingly safe to state that we act under moral law. Without God there would be no moral law other than that within a social structure (which would make it non-absolute). Can we be human without moral law? If there is no moral construct I don't believe it is possible to be human as such; and such a divine moral construct can only come from God. The ethical and moral bounds must be congruent with the actuality of truth, and truth can only be given by God. Atheists, whether they believe it or not are a part of the moral construct seemingly imprinted onto the fabric of reality as a blueprint of God. A part of God exists in every one of us, so to speak.
Without absolute moral truths how can we ever state that we are human? If morality is subjective then we are living out the delusions of our own mind.

Of course morality is just one idea that could be used to attempt to prove whether it is possible to be human without God. But in the end as with all things in philosophy it is subject to your own ideas about what it means to be "human" and your definition of "God".

Yes exactly. And I think by outlining the boundaries we are even more so promoting going outside them.
For example, if you tell your girlfriend she shouldn't flirt with your friends because she is your girlfriend, it is more likely to encourage her to do it anyway.
On the other hand trusting her in the first place without having to tell her would probably be a better idea.

Alex

Yes, I completed the course last year.

Alex
#148
Yup they are good.
Especially, the materials given in the later courses are very useful.
The Astral course in itself gives a combination of techniques that build on each other to increase your ability and chance of projecting successfully. If you stick with the courses you will later learn how to project directly into the Causal (sixth) dimension.
I'm sure you will find at least some of the information useful on the course, and besides there is no loss since it's free. The key to success though, is consistent practice of the exercises that are provided.
I wouldn't go as far as saying that each student has had one OBE by the end of the course, most people I have come across even in the late courses have not yet achieved astral projection. I think the skill in itself is quite difficult to master, however there is no question that the course is beneficial, as you will learn other techniques such as concentration and visualization too.
Good luck with it.

Why does love have to make sense?
Why does it need prediction?
Obviously there are only a few titles that people can use to define their relationship. Each of these titles probably has some original definition. But each person's own ideas are far broader than a definition can stipulate. Isn't it easier to just drop the description? Perhaps we already know what we want out of a relationship and what our partner wants, so this leaves it quite pointless to reiterate the definition of the "type" of relationship.
Surely there wouldn't be any confusion or mass hysteria if we just discontinued a large amount of social labelling. Isn't this branching out from the same systems that label races, such as "black" or "Asian"? This kind of system seems quite obsolete and limiting to modern society.
And as I said before, a social contract between two people shouldn't even exist if they love each other, and for other relationships such as friendships the term "friend" would remain still way too vague.

That's an interesting article. It makes some sense that the event caused an outpouring of so much positive emotion such as compassion, in contrast with all the negative emotion that has been present around the world in the previous few years.

I still don't get how we are supposed to awaken with only 4 years of time though.
