People do read these messages and view these videos, they just wish to stay in the shadows. I made a post awhile ago about Wanderers, over 100 people have viewed it and 0 people have replied to it. All I wanted them to do was think outside the box for a change and if any of them actually did the Wanderer's Test, then I definitely achieved my goal.

Hey ya!

I took the test and scored 44. So I guess I'm not a Wanderer :/.... But I was wandering about how usable that test was. I can't help but feel that it isn't well assembled because you can quickly figure out it's pattern so it can be easily influenced subconsciously :). (It will reassure you of whatever you think about yourself).

May I ask about how did you get these information? How did you do your research? Because I can read until I am blue in the face and easily draw conclusions for myself, but it doesn't mean that I've found out any "truth".

I am sure you can interpret music videos in a gazillion ways. Maybe Rihanna just likes to masturbate and Gaga just uses her not-that-mainstream style of expressing herself to sell her sh*t. I do not know too much about given symbols, but I'm pretty sure that snakes have at least one other meaning (Caduceus anyone?) besides your "demonic" one. On the other hand I do think that mainstream music is crap and it's designed to brainwash the audience - but mainly from material reasons :). So maybe staying away from it can be a possible solution, right :)? They can't shove sh*t down on your throat if you don't let them :).

Merging "Biblical Hell" with the physical reality? Does Biblical Hell exist? And in which of the "Hollow Hells" is it located :)?

As far as I understand Jesus and other "prophets" weren't trying to gather followers but trying to help others enlighten themselves. People are in different stages of evolution, so in order to communicate with a given number of them and help them understand the "truth" sometimes you have to use metaphors and simplified concepts. Which, in turn, can be misinterpreted by others and used to manipulate people.

Btw you made my day .).

Welcome to the Healing place! / Re: I need help...

He ya!

You don't seem pathetic to me, but very human :).

If you want to hear my opinion, here it goes:

- if you feel that you love others with full throttle but you don't get anything back, maybe you are trying to express your love in ways that are invisible for your loved ones, simply because they would need you to manifest it some other way, so they could absorb it. It is pretty easy to make a victim out of yourself unconsciously and wander how is it possible that no one loves you when you gave your everything - apparently for nothing.

- if you "love" someone because you expect something in return, or expect that you will find someone who will love you because you can't love yourself, or don't want to feel alone, pathetic etc. - you might doing it wrong.

- relationships end. People die. Become estranged. Whatever. "You don't belong to people forever." Or at all. You can trick yourself into thinking the opposite, but the only thing you achieve with this that you will feel abused, left alone, cheated along the way. Again and again. So trying to enjoy things while they last, and even if they are not what you expected might be a better idea.

- it is always easier to help others "solve" their problems or to give advise. You don't have to be in their shoes so you don't have to take responsibility for their decisions. But because of this you don't really understand their problems, they can even misunderstand their problems, so you can easily cause more damage in the long run with your easily given advises. Sharing your opinion or putting things in a different perspective should be enough for them to solve their own problems. On the other hand, how can you help others when you can't help yourself? Do you even need to save someone except yourself :)?

- I am not trying to give a pep talk here, just sharing my conclusions drawn from my own life, so don't feel offended.

Welcome to Spiritual Evolution! / "Gender"
January 13, 2012, 05:48:24
Hi everyone!

Do you think that our souls have "genders"? I mean are there men or women souls? Or people just think about themselves as men and women because of our obvious biological differences?

I am not talking about being gay or transgender or whatever. But aren't the notions of men and women just artificial, another tricky illusion of the physical realm? We grow up seeing and hearing about the different roles of men and women, what should and what shouldn't given genders do; that there are girl things and boy things and you should behave this way or that way, and first of all: you should never, ever understand the other gender's way of thinking. So we can complain about it all the time and fill our minds with nonsense views in order to keep it busy. And distracted.

Any thoughts :)?

I think Tom Campbell wants to say that everything you believe is a limiting belief unless you have enough experience to draw your own conclusion :D... I think it does make sense. Just think about it: if you live your life believing in karma or reincarnation and accepting these things without obtaining any proof about them, you are limiting yourself. These might be very real, but if you accept someone else's interpretation without doing a little research for yourself...yes I think you are limiting yourself :)....

He ya Cody,

I have been having some similar feelings since I was 6 or 7. I've just simply never felt that I belong to anywhere, and I've kept wandering what am I doing amongst people who are different from me to an unbearable extent. From time to time I have to realize that even the people who are supposed to really know me simply never saw me.

So in order to being able to take this emotional roller-coaster I've developed my little crafty survival tactics, such as setting goals for myself, no matter how uninterested am I in them. It helps me to hang in there long enough. I hit rock bottom several times, but you know what? Just embrace it. From there, it is a one way road, you will always bounce back ! And by the way, every time some real change came into my life, it was always preceded by one of this "downs". I guess they are supposed to teach me something.

Seeing a counselor can also be a good thing, it is not like he will have some kind of instant cure-all solution, but sometimes all we need is a fresh voice :)!

I was thinking about the same, so I decided the next time I "awake" paralyzed, I'll stay calm and begin noticing !
Let me know about your results!

Does anyone else think that the Phasing method and the buddhist insight meditation are the same? I can't get rid of this thought...

Maybe you should check out Frank Kepple's legacy: http://www.astralpulse.com/frankkepple.html.

Yes, you can call it another theory - and you shouldn't buy any of it. As far as I understand he came to the conclusion that the "physical realm" is where the subjective/personal realities converge into an "objective" one. The purpose of this kind of existence is to experience the "objective".

But think about how ironic it is, creating an illusion with given rules in order to experience the objective. So the notions of soul, higher self, subjective, objective, enlightenment etc. are just simple concepts we use in order to make reality more objective. It is somewhat hilarious that we have to limit ourselves and put everything into little boxes to make them and reality more objective. And if you think about it, it is still faaaar from being "objective".

So, on the other hand, you can read until you are blue in the face, it is not really going to give you "right" answers, but maybe modify what you think and hereby, what you will experience.

Personally I think no one is going to "enlighten" you here or anywhere else, but you can find methods which will help you in stepping on the "path" and enlightening yourself. On the other hand it can be beneficial to hear about others' experiences in order to draw your OWN conclusions :)!

Cheers,
rain

I see. But I am a really nice guy too, so we have at least one thing in common with J  !
And thx again :)!

Okay, I've found the article in which Anthony introduces his theory, and I find it quite interesting.  But I can't seem to find a link from where I could download the book titled 'Is there life after death'. The author stated that it can be downloaded from wowio for free, but when I search through their database, no matter what keywords I use, the search comes up with approx 60 000 results. Could anyone provide me a link where I can get the book? Of course I could order and pay for it, but I prefer the free stuff  :-P....

Hi CFTraveler!

I've got many names, but I don't remember being called J  :-D! So no, I am not her/him. But I desperately want to come to know J if she/is crazy the same way I am :)! And thx for the hints, I'll definitely check them out!

So we are all just simple hedonists :x? Well, infinity can become boring I guess... In this light, death could be something we can long for in vain.... Okay, I've become more concerned about not being able to die... That sucks!

Hi everyone!

I've just figured it out that this might be the right place to ask the following questions, because when I try to talk about these things, people think I should be institutionalized or something . Here we go:

As far as I understand, the "Astral" is a very subjective experience, since we are exploring our subconscious. Some states that are "Planes" in the Astral, others talk about different areas of the consciousness and they divide the whole thing into categories. There are always higher Planes, additional areas etc.... They treat these "higher" planes/areas as if they were somehow more objective. But how can they be so sure about that? Where does reality begins?

'Cause I think "reality" is really a subjective experience, and just because a bunch of people drew the line at the certain point, it doesn't mean there is really a line. Just think about the physical level. For many, this is what reality is. We can say, that this is just an illusion and we can search for the "truth", but that is also a very subjective experience IMO....

And first of all, what is the point of living this earthly life? Please be very creative and don't come up with personal development or evolution  :?! Assuming that there is a "higher self" or that we exist on various levels at the same time, starting our "evolution" from here seems freaking pointless to me. Or starting it from anywhere... evolving at all seems pointless.

Please someone break it down for me, 'cause I feel freaking cheated! What the heck are we doing here? What on earth could we possibly learn on this Earth - lol - which would prepare us, broaden our horizons blabla... for becoming able to understand something that we are not capable of understand now?

Let's say I am at Level 1 in this little role-playing game, but why can't I just start from Level 30? It wouldn't make any difference, because you have to learn and prepare yourself either ways, right? To become a "God", become one with "God", or call it Creator or whatever you want - I am not religious, don't get me wrong.

And what does determine, whether someone is getting involved in "spirituality" or not? And when? I am familiar with the conception of reincarnation, but I just can't see what on earth would stop someone from seeking sensual pleasures for thousands of reinbodiments. At some point we just decide that we had enough of that? Let's find something else to keep ourselves busy and entertained.

I would really love to understand Life and address these questions to some kind of "higher" life form, to the hyper-ultimate one, but I am afraid he/she/it would be just a product of my own imagination.

So please share your thoughts. At least you guys are real for sure. Arent ya ?

I thought doing something for a cause mean that you do it without expecting anything in return. Well at least anything that is material. What is the cause here exactly? Who are we trying to help? Ourselves?

This is one of those times when I feel embarrassed by being a human .

Thx :)! For the reply and for the welcome, too.

Hello everyone!

I am new to Astral Projecting, and all the literature and information available seem so contradictionary that I can't make head or tail of it.

I have been having sleeping paralysis since I was a teenager, but I have never attached importance to it until recently, because the medical explanation regarding to it said it is caused by exhaustion.  But recently I came across some information which led me to the conclusion that maybe it has to do something with Astral Projection/OBE.

I did not know where to start, so I read a few books, checked out a few websites and found some auditory method which is supposed to alter your brain waves in order to achieve Projection. I decided to give it a shot.

Well it was quite effective because after I fell asleep I "woke up" paralyzed. It was different from my previous experiences because this time I heard noises like waking up in some kind of a busy factory. "Feeling" paralyzed alone scares the heck out of me, so this lovely new aspect didn't really helped me in staying calm, but somehow I managed to try and "roll out of my body" onto the floor. I felt as if I was successful, although I did't really "feel" hitting the floor, but I remember to take 2-3 steps and feeling that I  had been freed. Even a smile spread across my face.

But the voice on the tape said something about coming back to my physical consciousness and I immediately found myself paralyzed again, in my body. Panic took over me and I try to move one of my limbs, as usually, to regain control over my body and end the paralysis. It has always been my way of ending the paralysis.

During the whole thing I was kind of blind, except the moment I first "woke up" and when I found myself back in my body and started to struggle with ending it. I even remember seeing my squirming arms and legs, and sitting up in the process, but when I opened my physical eyes I was laying completely still on my bed.

I'm not sure if I've ever had any visual perception until this occasion in my previous paralyzed states. Although my vision was completely blurry.

I'm not even sure if it's safe experimenting with this whole thing, and as I said the information available is not going to solve this mystery for me, so I need the advice and opinions from people who have already had OBEs.

1. How can I get out and get away from my body?

2. Do I need any kind of protection? I mean I can not imagine what should I do if I come across some entity that I or someone else around me called into life after some negative experience. Anything malevolent. It is not enough to have positive thoughts if others surrounding you keep throwing up their mind-junk.

3. And first of all, does this mind stuff exist on the material plane at all or on the astral plane? I suppose, when you get out of your body, you are still on the material plane and you have to change the vibrational frequency of your consciousness to move between planes. So what can I expect to see/find after I leave my body?

4. I read about having Guides or people sensing someone else's presence/seeing someone in the room during OBE, but I have never sensed anything like that so far. It is not like I need something else to add to the fear factor - feeling that someone is watching me during this whole process....aawww!...-, but if there really is a Guide should I "call out" for it? Simply "will" it there :)? Ask it to pull me out of my body maybe :D?

5. Should I start with lucid dreaming first instead of playing with the fire? Is there a fire at all? I mean, can I burn myself with this?

Thx for having the patience to read this!

Alex
