This is funny. I just found this exact same thing in a book about palm reading three days ago. :)

Destiny Number=2
Personality Number=7
Name Number=3

While I have info on the destiny and personality numbers, I don't know anything about the name number. I'd like to compare and see what your book says about the above numbers. [:D]

I have 5 different decks that I always kept in the same location, but right now the only one I can find is my Aleister Crowley Thoth deck. This leads me to the conclusion that it ate the other decks. [:D]

Maybe he's just a bouncer. If you keep going back, maybe it'll be your time the next time you visit.

Fantastic. The body shift urge gets me every time, when my will is at its weakest. I'll play with this tonight. [:D]

well, as nice as it would be to have something about all of us that is apparently miraculous like being able to affect street lamps ect. current science does not support any of these claims. I think unbiased testing is in order.

On the Discovery show, they actually put the slider in laboratory experiments, and actually demonstrated that he was able to affect the results of a computer. Can't really tell ya more, as I wasn't watching it too closely.

I was actually responding to astralpwka about the strobe effect.

Actually, I think I'll agree with you. But it was darned good timing.

(grumbling) But I wanna be a christian and I wanna play out of my body and ocassionally talk to ghosts, and maybe play with a spell or too.

Damn my free will... ooooohhh wait. That hits too close to the topic. [}:)]

nitetravler: Actually I listen to Coast to Coast quite a bit. [:)]

As far as imagination, I use it frequently. [;)] It would be very interesting if I had the ability to make other things appear as vivid.

A bit of background:
I saw the shadowy entity back in January of '91 (I was 17), when I was originally working with energy and chakras (and messing around with magic). It floated directly out of my wall and hovered over me, very wraith-like, humanoid, yet without a lower half. It scared me enough to quit doing anything for a very long time. I had to sleep with the lights on for a week, and I was very uncomfortable being in a room by myself for some time.

The light entity I saw a few nights ago. I've been playing with NEW now since July 9th. Obviously this one didn't scare me, just startled me.

I did not try to make any type of contact with either one, nor do I know if either was interested in two way communication. While the shadowy entity (in my opinion) was very much directed at getting my attention, the light entity made no such attempt, but merely passed on by.

...And here I thought electrodes attached to the brain only allowed dancing. [:D]

Because lucid dreaming seems so real, I try to use it to convince myself I'll be able to do crazy stuff in reality, such as levitation and flight, as though maybe my mind will cross over, turn on a switch, or something. It hasn't happened, but I like the concept.

However, lucid dreaming makes astral projection much easier for me. I can go lucid several times a week, and every lucid dream is a doorway out of my body, with a (current ratio) 75% success rate.

My current play form is a very large, intimidating werewolf. Its amazing how that form helps me deal with fear. I feel very intimidating. And a full moon is coming soon... [}:)]

Welcome to Dreams! / Fall in Love in Dreams
July 26, 2004, 12:34:05
My problem with falling in love with dreams seemed to be a created emotion from the dream that would persist after I awakened. I'd dream being in love with someone I knew, and romantically invovled. I'd wake up feeling the same very strong feelings of affection for the person. I'd have to spend half an hour convincing myself it was a false emotion from a dream premise, especially when I'm married and the other person was a coworker (also married). And, there was nothing between myself and the person of my dreams in reality. This has occured maybe a handful of times.

You know, I didn't realize there was a name for that until I was watching Discovery Health (I think that was the channel) a few days ago. It used to happen all of the time, but in the last few years no longer happens to me. Maybe its a type of energy control, because it really ticked me off to have anything screw up the pc while using it. Streetlights I didn't care about. :)

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / OBE Help

It took me many years to succeed, and I've tried several different methods (and I'm very determined). The treatise on this site is definately recommended. Using meditation to get your body and mind "out of the way" is a big help.

I had the strobe effect triggered recently by my wife opening the door and startling me while doing energy work. The startlement set off the brow chakra in a brilliant flash.
