i agree with mrloki that lucidity is more of a inner mind experience than a outer body experience

just choose an object in your room, preferbly without work the next day keep your focus on it. start to recall happenings in your life bad and good.
Tap in to how u felt this will raise the activity in your brain, the object is just a focal point that will help intensify/concentrate your senses making it easier for u to communicate with your subconscious the more tired u become the easier it will be for your conscious to connect with its sleepstate counterpart and with a bit of practise your lucidity will increase.

Great info, I'm sure the current improvements and reduction in cost of photosensitive detection devices would allow us in the future to carry out our own experiments.

Hi all,
      Due to an active mind i used to find it hard to get a decent nights sleep, going to work on empty and this pattern of a lack of sleep resulted in me experiencing the locking motions of sleep paralysis. My body basically shut itself down and my conscious would be witness to this intense feeling of the nerve system flowing with overwhelming energy until BANG! I'm now lucid.

DOES ANYONE HAVE EXPERIENCE or KNOWLEDGE OF THIS

           Its been a while since you started this post and hope you are feeling better, i can relate to the messy room and staying in to much, like shutting down on the world.I have been unemployed for 3 months now ,after working since i left school. Going to collect my j.s.a is the only thing that gets me up so i can relate to your current lifestyle.

Is there many jobs where u live would u prefer to find work or do exams again? would u go out more if you had money???

I find comedy helps when i'm really low and also to untie all those emotional knots, poetry is a power like no other !!!

I agree that david blane has a strong mental/physical focus but many people would be prepared to train themselves up before siting in a box for a month or however long it was for a few million$$$.
He is a conjurer, when he was on a talkshow/live all he could do was stick a needle through part of hand.
If you like this sort of stuff and want to learn to play it on your mates look out for a guy called Derren Brown/Mind Control series now he is a clever chappy!!!.

Hi Kris,
         I'm sure being so young you do dream maybe you don't recall them on awakening.When i was your age my parents split up so there was many emotion's running through me, school was difficult and anxiety/paranoia made sleeping hard but when i did i could recall my dreams very clearly and eventually around 20 i was aware of dreams whilst dreaming not just on awakening.
Maybe u need more experiences in the wakeful life do u have hobbies passions??
Set your imagination off in relation to these experiences and you will find u will dream of them.

To much literature on subject's like lucidity when u don't have a mental connection/success can bog u down that's the last thing u want.

Maybe try relaxing before u sleep, just glazing at an object in your room for a while thinking about your days events this might help with recall.
Then as you feel more tired tell yourself "i will dream tonight, and will remember my dreams on awakening" repeat this a few times and try it a couple times a week might help might not good luck and sweet dreams!!!

  Companys who are into the fabrication and operation of micro and nano technological devices have recently witnessed the casimir effect.
