As for why you keep getting logged out, I haven't a clue.
The software is old and out of date... we're having issues upgrading it at the moment, so it might be a while until that's resolved.

But yeah, just favourite the page and then you'll always have it available.  :)

I do meditate 30 to 45 mins every night before bed, been at it 2 to 3 years with little to no results, as for remote viewing I'm not sure how that's suppose to help me on my journey to becoming a hero, but I will look into it. Thanks for being straight with me, if this start not showing results in at least 3 months I'm just going to give up, cause my goals/dreams are already been listed by reality as not being possible to pull off.
What do you do when you do these 30 - 45 minute "meditation" sessions?  How do you approach them?  What goal are you looking for?

Oh it's clear now but i have one more thing to ask : P

Evil Side u described i have a type of friend like that but thing is he is not just friend to me i mean i know him for 7+ years the thing is he changed in last year it's like i thik i have other kind of person i would be happy if changes were different the thing is he just slowly rips him self, i know don't push your beleifes to others and so on but when my friend is on this path ofcourse i want to help him but he doesn't want to listen me let's say so he doesn't want to be changed.

I just want to clear some facts i am not manipulative person and let a person be whoever he wants , but i see that the life and view he holds is going against him and he doesn't even realize it

What would be your advice what should i do?

Do you agree that sometimes we have to be on dark side to help someone? i mean mental manipulation now when all good things i tried don't work the thing is i hope you get what i say his life is like :
Here are my thoughts on this...
You are only responsible for your own spiritual growth.  You can "guide" people, but you can't force them to change.  And realize what you're REALLY trying to do here... you're judging your friend and the actions they take.  Who are YOU to judge the choices of another person?

People are where they are for a reason and we're all doing the best we can with what we have available to us.
Sometimes the biggest lesson we need to learn is people have their own lessons to learn in order to make spiritual progress... and we can't force that.

"You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink".

QuoteSeeing a man going to jump off the bridge and don't stop him because u say it's his choise
Now, you bring up an interesting dilemma with this particular scenario.
Usually, the person making the suicidal choice is doing so for fear-based reasons (there can be SOME exceptions to this)... as such, I think it's well within the realm of reason to help guide these people back to a more spiritually productive way of thinking about themselves and the reality they find themselves in.

Remember, everything is based around Intent.

Thanks for the link as always usefull : )
By the way i won't open a new topic what you think about honesty? i mean being honest there are moments when i lied to someone but for their own good there are people who aren't for truth what you think about this being always 100% honest is good?
Intent.  Everything comes back to Intent, which is the WHY you did something.

Did you lie to someone because you felt they couldn't handle the truth?
Did you lie because you wanted to protect them from the truth?
Did you lie to them because you're just a stupid, mean liar-pants?  :)

The INTENT behind why you do the things you do determines the spiritual growth of the action.
The wallet-scenario in my post above explains it in further detail.  One action with two completely different Intents cause two completely different reactions in your own spiritual development.

Yea yea laugh it up why don't ya, fine if one of you MoDS don't mine can you just St change it to F.A.O ( false awakening obe) that goes for the title as well. I'm just looking for feedback, we had our laugh now lol.
They're interesting experiences, to say the least.  So, you're saying that in each of those experiences you didn't realize that you were non-physical?
Technically, "ALL" dreams are false awakening projections.  All dreams are projections... you just don't realize you're non-physical.

Did you have any specific questions about your experiences?

Hello everyone!
So i have a question, a lot of times when i try to project i fall asleep (or at least i think so), and them sudenly, i feel my whole body buzzing and i think that i will pop out of it and do a successful projection, but i fail.
Am i doing something wrong, or am i missing something?
Any help would be appreciated! :-D
Think about what it is/was you're doing which caused the "body buzzing" to happen.  Think about it and do that.
THEN when you feel the body buzzing happening... IGNORE IT... and keep doing what you were doing which brought them on.  :)

The two statements I love are: "Words are cheap" & "Actions speak louder than words".

As for HOW you "act" in order to do that... you just make sure your actions are based upon Love-based decisions.

Wow. It was really weird.
Do you think i should try that again or masterize it?
I mean.. deep down i really want to do it again.
Well, the actual trigger for the projection you experienced was the multiple nightmares you had before it happened.
Essentially, you woke up many times which threw off your sleep just enough to the point when you attempted your projection it kicked in really fast and really easily.

But yeah, that was the trigger of what you experienced... so I'm not sure how you can force that kind of thing to happen again.  But go nuts. :)
If you can figure out how to interrupt your sleep as you did multiple times a night, then you might be onto something.  hehe

sorry but I have this thing where I cannot read very well.
So its hard.
You might have a problem them since this is a media where it's ALL typed print...

QuoteSo basically it is an illusion of the brain, nothing more.
How do you come to that conclusion?

Sorry, but I'm with Lumaza... we can guide you to where you can find your answers, but we can't GIVE you answers.  Understand?
Giving you an answer doesn't help unless you have a way to understand it... and that's done on your own.
#1336
You were non-physical and were consciously aware of that... so yup, that was a projection.  :)

Thank you all for your wonderful replies! So then I should just not think of anything correct? I will attempt this and post results if they succeed.
When *I'M* meditating... I'm doing everything except "not thinking".  My mind doesn't stop.
I do the noticing exercise mostly... and when I'm in the process of "noticing" I'm looking out into that darkness and my mind is going crazy like, "omg, did I just see something?"  "what was that?"  "I need to look deeper into that"  "was that a flash?"

I mean, I'm not ACTUALLY verbally thinking it... but that's the Intent I'm putting into noticing.  So don't think I'm just sitting there thinking this stuff... it's all Intent-based.  I'm REALLY interested in the nuances of what I'm seeing.  *THAT* is what drives my awareness away from my physical senses and what DRIVES my awareness to project.

Unless your goal is SPECIFICALLY to quiet the mind (I'm not sure why you would ever want to do that anyway)... then there's really no point at which you're doing that.
The act of "trying" to quiet your mind is an extremely violent one, because your mind doesn't want to be quiet.  Instead of trying to quiet it, simply allow it to be as it is and get swept away in the flow.  :)

QuoteAnother question: what should I do in the event that my heart rate goes up / increases? Should I stop the attempt? When this occurs, it's hard to stay still and to breathe slowly. I used to have these side effects right after the vibratory stage but it hasn't happened in awhile. Anyhow, just asking out of curiosity.
Same as the Vibrations.  Ignore it as much as you can.  It's NOT physical.  :)

Hello everyone! Bare with me since I'm new to the forum but not new to the idea of astral projection. I searched for other threads like this but couldn't find any that exactly "matched" this so called problem. So any help or insight would be greatly appreciated!

My question: What do I do after I reach the vibratory state?

Anyhow...on my own, I can lower my heart rate and enter the vibratory state within minutes. Controlled breathing has helps me but it's what after the vibratory state is what messes me up. I read that you must ignore the sensations so I do. When this happens, I'll either get: (1) increased heart rate and shortness of breath or (2) I remain in the vibratory state for over an hour with nothing changing. Sometimes my muscles will twitch on their own which breaks me out of the state but I can quickly return to it when that happens.

Any help or insight would be greatly appreciated! I've only experienced APing about two or three times accidentally...so if any of you can help me achieve this, you'll have my eternal gratitude!
How about this?  Ignore the Vibrations.  Acknowledge them only in the most minor of way "Oh hey, vibrations, great..." then just continue doing what you were doing before they hit you.
Let me explain... vibrations are ONLY a signpost experience/sensation.
That signpost that reads, "Keep doing what you're doing, because you're doing it right".

The signpost DOES NOT read, "Stop what you're doing and focus completely on me!"... there's no better way to KILL your experience than to focus on the vibrations.  Once you do that, your mind then stops the process of your awareness moving AWAY from this physical reality and brings it squarely back here again.  This is what you DO NOT want to happen.

When you experience those vibrations, they're telling you that you're doing things right.  You're on the correct path... BUT you still need to continue walking down that path if you're to actually project.  So, in order to continue walking down that path... just keep doing what you were doing which brought on the vibrations in the first place.

You're close.  :)

Yes but for example okey i have image of text in my head and i need it fast i can't lay down and try to project or something like that xD yes i know that it's connected projecting into your mind let's say so but dunno maybe some experienced people are here with this topic
People with this kind of memory don't have to do that.  They have access to it immediately, just about whenever they want.
It's like closing your eyes and not just visualizing a memory, but actually seeing it being played out in front of your very eyes again in full, complete detail.

On the flip side of things... projection can also be "just that easy" once you've taken all that other "crap" out of the way.

Understand now what I'm saying?  Do you REALLY see the link between all of these different things now?
#1342
I've come to understand that a "photographic memory" is really a remote viewing of an actual memory of yours.
Essentially, it's a projection-related ability.

Adrian was logged in today when I made my post above, so he did see it too. Who knows, maybe he would consider it.
When he logs in, I don't believe he actually sees much of the forum.  He's in the back end mostly doing maintenance on the databases.

...and yet this very Forum here has Sub-Forums which lead to labelling each on of these "modes" of transportation individually.
That's because it's not my forum.  It's Adrian's.  :)
I just help run the place.  hehe

I wouldn't dream of making such changes without his express consent and support.
I've never really considered to ask him though.  I'm sure he would like the status quo.

QuoteWhat do you think would happen if we had a individual titled Sub-Forum here for each one of these "modes" titled/labelled Lucid Dreaming, OBEs and Conscious Shifting (aka Phasing)? Would it be more confusing for members here? Do you think people/members would actually differentiate one from the other? Would it be more productive or less productive in the end?
Well, the top three forums (right now) are basically three of the same thing... they do need to get some loving in terms of re-organizing.
I can always have a chit chat with Adrian regarding that.  I imagine he set things up like they are for a reason, at least at the beginning.

I really do believe that how we have things setup here (mostly talking about the top forum sections) is counterproductive and only serves to confuse people.

Quote...or do you think it would be more productive to just have this Forum with one main Sub-Forum titled "Non Ordinary States of Consciousness", which in itself is also a "label" and leave the other Sub-Forums on Paranormal, Religion, Metaphysical, etc. as they are?
I do like the idea of merging the top three sub-forums into a "Non Ordinary States of Consciousness" sub-forum.  For me, that would be awesome.  :)

That's probably the easier of the options to actually put into practice.

QuoteOh, by the way, that is a open question to anyone that wants to voice their opinion on this. This is not directed at you alone Xanth. I wanted to make sure I said that.
No worries.  It's a completely valid question.  Why would the forum be set up in a manner contrary to how the Administrator believes/teaches.  :)

My own personal forum (http://www.unlimitedboundaries.ca/forums) is setup more how *I* would like to see things here... I wanted to go with a more generic format so I can have an easier time sliding people away from the need to identify and organize their experiences so strictly.
#1347
They wouldn't exist here anymore.  Pretty simple really.  :)
There are an infinite number of realities for you to chose to be born into.

True Robert does say that. But I have communicated with him via email a few times now and he says Lucid Dreaming and Astral Projection are two completely different things. So, he does still use "labels". He puts them in 2 completely different categories.

This quote below here is exactly why I believe that "labels" are still needed. True OBEs, LDs and conscious APs are all "non ordinary states of consciousness", but their mode of transportation still differentiates them into different groupings per say.

"Similarly, when you read a self-report on a lucid dreaming forum of someone falling asleep, who begins to feel humming or buzzing and energy around the body, possibly sees wispy arms composed of silver looking light, and then floats above the bed consciously aware, then please ask yourself, "does this meet the definition of a lucid dream? Did this person realise within a dream that he or she was dreaming?". If not, the experience simply fails to meet the definition of a lucid dream, just as having a heart attack on the operating table and floating up to the ceiling fails to meet the definition of a lucid dream."
Robert Waggoner
Yup, he still does focus a bit too much on labels... but his research seems to be going in the right direction.

In the end, I still think he hasn't taken a far enough step back to gain a larger perspective on all these experiences.
Metaphorically speaking, he's stuck with his nose up against a canvas, not able to see the whole painting... focused so exclusively in on just one small aspect.

Most people haven't realized that "the map isn't the territory".  The major players doing the research are focusing on the wrong parts of the experience instead of the experience as a whole.  Breaking it down by HOW you get INTO the non-physical or what certain things (ie: control the environment or fly) while you're non-physical... those are all simply properties of an experience and can't be used to define the experience itself.  The ONLY thing that we should be focusing on is our awareness and how the shift in our awareness causes our interpretations of our experiences to change drastically.

Throughout that chapter, he talks a lot about that "shifting of awareness" during our day and how that equates to our non-physical experiences.  He's LITERALLY on the cusp of putting it all together, but he hasn't backed away far enough from the canvas to figuring it out.

You'll never convince me that the labels we predominately use are needed beyond the very most basic, rudimentary manner for discussing this stuff.
They only serve to hold people back and are a self-imposed limitation.

Sorry, I think I rambled a bit there... :)
#1349
I've downloaded and intend to read it... looks like a pretty good read.

Although... Chapter 10 (Robert Waggoner's section), and his proposition he puts forward really caught my eye, because it's exactly what I go on about here and in my own book.  The idea that consciousness isn't neatly labeled and the consciousness continuum of the levels of awareness.

I'm definitely most interested in Robert's chapter.

I like delegating my thinking to the masses... it means I can then deal with more important issues, such as... do I have pork bacon or chicken bacon for dinner later!!  THE MYSTERIES OF THE MYSTERIES!!  :)
