Whooo Hooo. Somebody who can manipulate and use energy on the astral/ethereal plane(s)!! Way to go.
One lesson here is that if you practice energy work during meditation in the physical then that skill will naturally 'carry over' in any super physical (OOB) dimension. []

Some of you may have been wondering what happened to me. I have been unable to post for nearly 2 weeks now. My former roommate moved to live with his girlfriend and he took the computer (which was his) with him.  
This unfortunate set of circumstances has left me without easy access to the internet. I will only be able to post messages from a public library (as I am doing now). Therefore I hope to be able to keep up with what is happening at Astral Pulse and post at least once every one or two weeks.

A full moon Does help with projecting OOB. I had an ethereal projection on Tuesday night. (See my post titled 'Ethereal Projection "Tuned In'). Somebody mentioned that there was a big full moon that night.
It is well known that a full moon does have a big effect on peoples' behaviour. For example - crime rates go up during nights of a full moon. So it would follow that a full moon also affects (positively) a person's ability to go out of body. [:O][]

Arches are commonly seen by people who are OOB. On many occasions (but by no means all occasions) arches are portals or gateways or 'crossovers' -as Tisha said- to other dimensions and planes. Orion, if you were close to getting OOB then the arch was probably a portal. So had you managed to reach the arch then you would likely have had a full projection.

Althouth it Is hard to tell from that conversation it is Likely that she did have an OBE. Many people who suffer from personality disorders are also Greatly affected by the medication that they take. So it is quite possible that she is naturally prone to go out of body because of her mental personality AND the meds she takes facilitated an OBE. Her description of walking about and listening to her mother's conversation sound like it is More than a just a dream or imagination.[]

Have you had any recent experiences with these creatures? My guess is that these are a lower-level type of creature that delights in frightening young and inexperienced people who are out of body. They probably leave the older and more experienced projectors alone. That is why you may not have had any recent experiences with them - because you got over your fear and these creatures 'moved on' to find somebody to frighten.

IMHO the first experience was not a complete and full out of body. It was only a partial projection.
The second experience Does appear to have been a full OBE. Way to go. Being somewhat confused during an OBE is rather normal. For instance your sister was probably actually standing Next to that table - Not On the table. You just misperceived the situation. No big deal. The extra-physical senses get better with repeated experiences.

It might be possible to Distract a negative entitity and temporarily lead it away from whomever it is haunting.
The Big question then is - How long can you distract this being?
There are methods to banish (exorcise) negative being. Yet unless  you use a banishing ritual the 'neg' will simply return and resume it's harassment. [V]

Of course it Is possible to project while being wide awake. The secret, of course, is Mind-Awake and Body-Asleep. So, If the physical body can be put asleep by some method (as, for example, through sleep paralysis) it should be relatively easy to poject. []
Of course getting into the Mind-awake, body-asleep state is not quite So easy to do. Though is sounds simple learning the 'trick' usually takes time.

It is safe to say that MANY people have Kundalini experiences EVERY Day ! This is not an exageration.
Many people who have a Kundalini experience do not realize what has happened. This is because Kundalini is an Eastern/Hindu/esoteric concept that most westerners do not understand.
So if a yoga instructor claims that nobody has had a recent Kundalini experience then that instructor is either unaware of the true nature of Kundalini or else has some secret 'agenda'. In any event please be Assured that Kundalini experiences Do occur all the time. [:O]

Early 1994. It lasted only a few minutes.

Actually very poor - only about 1 in 10 or 1 in 15.

Only about once every 2 months. (About 5 or 6 times a year).

OBes last anywhere from a few minutes to as long as an hour or more.

About 5 to 6 months.

Either 'roll out' or projection from a lucid dream.

Don't give up if an OBE doesn't happen in 2 or 3 months because it will probably take longer.

My understanding is that crystal skulls are both very rare and nearly impossible to obtain. Perhaps your aunt has access to some type of replica or a machine manufactured crystal skull[?] Original crystal skulls were hand made by a long lost artistic skill.

The pyramid island looks very good LA FORET MAUVE. The location of the large pyramid as the central feature and also a major portal is a clever idea.[]
If more portals are to be added to the island I suggest that several large arches be added along the shore and amoung the trees. Or perhaps both large mirrors and arches.  [8D]

It is safe to hazard a guess here and say that when going to any particular Belief System Territory it is very important to be at least partially 'in tune' with the Dominant Belief of that BST.
Example -If you go to a BST where the dominant belief is (for example) RED and you are thinking YELLOW then you should be okay.
But if the dominant belief is VIOLET and you are thinking RED (which is all the way on the opposite end of the visible light spectrum = an opposite viewpoint for this example) then you would likely receive a hostile reception.[V][:O]
Because in the BST what you THINK IS what you ARE.

I pretty much agree with what the others have posted with the following differences.
Lucid dreams are nearly, yet not quite, the same experiences as OBEs.
However, there is a point where some lucid dreams become OBEs. Therefore, at some point, an experience Could be both a lucid dream and an OBE simultaneously. This is confusing but it makes sense because it explains why many people are unsure if they had a lucid dream or an OBE or both.[?]
However, dreams about out of body experiences ARE OBEs. The clarity of consciousness is not what it could be but it is still a full (ethereal) projection. So, IMHO, you did experience full blown OBEs. (The first experience began as a dream and may have simultaneously been a dream and an OBE for a short while.)

EXTREME SKEPTICISM about physical levitation is a very GOOD thing!

Yes, it could be possible for another person to help pull you out of body. Yet that seems mighty unlikely. More like a last resort when everything else has failed.
Better try projection on your own first. It may not happen overnight. Or even for several weeks or months. But projection should occur eventually (sometimes when you least expect it).
You could try getting that help if you want it though. Never know till you try (just don't expect too much). []

It is natural that many people who have not had an OBE would question whether it is real. Yet, as a person who has had several OBEs, I feel no need to prove the legitamacy of projections to anybody.
It is really great to have the ability to go out of body. If another person can not or will not make a serious effort to believe in the OBE phenomena then that is their loss. Not mine.
This why 'providing proof' and arguing/debating with skeptics is a complete waste of time and energy. I learned that a long time ago the hard way. Concentrate on what you can do and communicate with people who are interested and open minded. That is the best way to increase your ability.

My feeling EXACTLY. beavis knew what he was saying. And he said it in order to get a negative reaction from people. He also posted political opinions twice off-topic and out of context. So he got a strong reaction and that is what HE WANTED. So No surpirse he got ALOT of negative reactions..
And if beavis goes out in public and says the same thing he will no doubt also get a very strong reaction. But I don't think he will do that as it would not be a healthy thing to do.
Anyway your point about focusing on projection/OBE is clearly the right idea. That is why we are all at this site. Not to bash other peoples' viewpoints (no matter how moronic) but to increase our abilities to go OOB!

First off. Osama bin Laden is not an Afghan. He is a Saudi.
Al-Qaeda is not a government. It is a terror organization that was condemned by every government except for the Afghan Taliban and Saddam Hussein's Iraq.
So you should get your facts straight before you go mouthing off about situations that you know NOTHING ABOUT.

Second. bin Laden and al-Qaeda attacked on Sept 11, 2001 because of American troops in Saudi Arabia and other mideast countries. There were no Americans in Afghanistan on 9/11/2001. NONE ZERO.

Third al-Qaeda was responsible for several attacks against Americans before 9/11/2001. The bombings of US embassies in Kenya and Tanzania, the attack on the Khobar Towers in Saudi Arabia that killed 19 US Servicemen and the attck on the USS Cole in Aden, Yemen that killed 18 US Sailors were all carried out by al-Qaeda.

Fourth. You just post opinions without supporting evidence. Of course there is NO SUPPORTING EVIDENCE FOR YOUR OPINION.

And for what purpose[?] There was no benefit in becoming more aware of al-Qaeda. Having to fight in Afghanistan (where even more lives were lost) was not a 'benefit'. Neither was the necessity of creating a Department of Homeland Security or was passing the Patriot Act a 'benefit' either.
