Very interesting dream. It's worth pondering for a while. It might have reflected an illness coming on.

I've had a few dreams that had to do with taste and nausea. I pay close attention to these kinds of dreams. Can't help but pay attention to them! :?

How is your health now? Good I hope.

Wow! Thanks, Upstream. Good to know!

EOL007, thanks for the last explanation, it is clearer now. :)
I've delved into the inversion thing with color (including RB's). I find it a little complicated (therefore, confusing) right now. It makes sense, it's just that I can't compute it for some reason.

Will have to check it out again, thanks.

EOL007,
QuoteI can only suspect that as per R Bruce's memory download issue concerning OBE experiences: that B&W dreams, clairvoyance (B&W/inverse images) are probably due to similar mind/energy/physical body interface reasons.
Do you have a link for this site?

astralpwka,
This is an interesting topic.I have a friend who dreams in only black & white, and also doesn't lucid dream. And it's not from lack of interest because he has recorded his dreams for ten years! There was only one mention of a character with color in his dreams gone by.

I have a dream book which mentions black & white dreams are associated with materialism some way. I have the impression the author is saying that the person is more materialistic than let's say a dreamer type. This may also suggest that a person has a tendency toward concrete (not abstract) thinking, but that's just a guess on my part. Either way, I think there's more to it than that. I want to know more on the subject, since occasionally I have black & white experiences/dreams.

One of my spirit guides has a black& white character about him. The first time I saw him, he was a black/white/gray hologram.

My aura experiences involve black and white sometimes.

Frank,
Your post brings to mind the last time it happened to me. I had just pulled into the local grocery store. Can't remember my thoughts at the time but surely it was introspection. Anyway, the physical environment was at a standstill. Everything outside my vehicle had a pure structure existence about it.I tried to put a spiritual prospective to it and there was none. It was pure physical in nature. So ...thinking, where or what is this? The only thing to come to mind was that I was at the end of the road (the only phase or description I could think of). The scenery was that of desolation (like a still photo), a feel of my own personal existence. A feel that "I'm the god of my own world".

My late father (or some enity) may have communicated with me through the vehicle I was driving at this time (or just electrical weirdness?). While pondering this reality, one of the door locks began clicking up and down. The enity is telling me something, or maybe confirming my thoughts. The thoughts were simple, and I was also wondering what to do next. The lock might have been directing (guided or confirming) me to get out of the van. But, if this is so, why not just open the van door for me? This has happened before. The lock thing is still a mystery really.

I decided to go on about my business. While in the grocery store I observed my surroundings and the people closer than usual. I became aware that I was experiencing the optimal "spiritual" feel I get fairly frequently in daily life. The scene was very animated and very colorful. I felt self power and contentment.

A variation of the above experience is a slowing down or speeding up of time. These experiences are related to circumstances someway, part of the synchrony experiences I live in.

I haven't read the entire thread, but couldn't your experience be synchronicity? Synchronicity has a consistency to it, and is always present, whether the person recognizes it or not, imo.

Telos,
I wish you well. Your making a good decision if you ask me. :D

Not to worry, about the humility part, everyone is different. If it shows up for you, you'll know it. For me, humility is connected with risk factors. That is, knowing when your in too deep (you'll know). So far, I've rallied, thanks be to God (credit, where credit is due).

Leo Volont,
Wonderful info, thank you. One of the first places I discovered on the net was this link:

Pedre Pio, what an interesting man! I didn't know the other Saints bilocated as well.

What you say about the Blessed Virgin Mary I believe to be true! It's been a long time for me to find out some of these things. Thanks again.

In my dream just mentioned, I thought at the time it was a reproduction of my deceased friend, thinking it was God's way of forgiving and making me feel better. The question of whether it really was my sweet friend didn't matter.

I'm surprized this idea hasn't been mentioned. Monroe, in his reality, may have survived his bout with pneumonia.

Telos,
First, I would like to congratulate you on what you wrote about your performance. It sounds mesmerizing. It sounds like you have more than one form of art.

Speaking of performances. Isn't that what we do on a daily basis too? A person's attitude makes all the difference. Glow and color stands out in a crowd. People are attracted to the animated. It sounds like you have the important attributes.

I had a dream once showing a large white canvas.I didn't understand until waking up at a rest stop not long ago. I could tell I visualized and produced the scenery through my eyelids before opening them. There were trees in the background. The rest is up to me.

QuoteDo you think that there are more efficient avenues for changing the negative collective, like science, organized religion, government or business?

I don't have an awareness of a negative collective in science or religion. Both break the illusion of chaos. Both are a tool of civilization.Government (here anyway) was suppose to be for road building. Anything beyond this is open to interpretation.Imagine a world without insurance (a business). Think of the changes that could occur in people's thinking. Insurance's purpose is to restore something lost. What if people could experience loss instead of being paid for it? Things could be seen more clearly and quicker, opposed to delaying the inevitable. Denial, delaying, and paying (or getting reimbursed) to get out of natural order is a mistake. The existence of such man made systems changes the consequences. Does one want to live in a false sense of security, or speed it along for an interesting journey.  Instead of debt, pay as you go, less to lose (if that's going to happen). This in turn will dwindle down the unecessary. Last but not least, stop blaming others for one's own misfortune. If people would accept responsibilty for their own life's creation it would be just as rich. In this country anyway, it pays to lose, it pays to be sick, it pays to be ignorant. How sick is that?!

This is a simplification, of course. Until the culprits of disorder are identified, many are guilty of crimes against nature and man.Are the people in prison really the criminals? But, that's another story.

Telos,
Sorry, I didn't mean that you are in High School. However, there is a mentality out there where the social and personal roles of one are not clear. Misconceptions seem to be affirmed there. Once this potential for ... is "jelled", they never get past it. IMO.

Yes, this is often the case regarding what you say,"...the same problem appears to carry over into adult life."
I believe we are presented with the same problem(s) over and over again. I too have blocks, barriors, and troublesome life lessons to understand. It seems life scenerios do repeat until the lesson is identified, and then resolved hopefully.Jealousy has been one of the things I've had to deal with. The only good I've seen as a result of this visited upon me by others is a competitive action in order to either "show me up" or place me beneath their feet. If someone needs that kind of incentive to better themself, great...I just don't think the need to crush or walk on someone will have a good result for that person. But, if that person evolves in the meantime, that's wonderful. I'm not much for the competitive spirit myself, but many are. I guess I've been lucky that I haven't attracted too many who use negative emotion (or what ever it is) to kick start themselves into action in life. These are not the worst of the lot. There are some with really bad intentions, but these are fewer in numbers. This is about jealousy advancing to hatred. Every once in a while this kind shows up in my life. I am very sensitive to this because of what is called energy stealing. Energy stealers are not necessarily jealous, their just the most dangerous.Anytime I get in a good position to cause a change for the better, one of these killers show up.It does cause set backs for me. I think that maybe my path in life doesn't involve improving anything. As you have stated, there are those greater than myself who have.

I don't see jealousy as natural. It's counter productive, and not an integral part of the good.

The negative collective is dispersed and hard to discribe. For starters, it's the formation of false ideas or ideals. When these false and faulty thought systems are integrated into society, society forms into something other than what it should be. It's not a person or any physical thing. Call it an attitude or mindset. Examples of such a thing are political correctness, gambling (insurance companies for example), justice systems, healthcare. At least these things produce the most awareness of such a thing as I see as a collective problem.

How do you see the negative collective, Telos?

A book I keep forgetting to look for when I'm out is The Mothman Prophecies. I saw the movie and a negative collective was hinted in it. I know a Reiki instructor who received a sense of "something" from that movie as well. It's something hard to put your finger on. In the movie (based on a true story), a bridge collapses from an unknown reason. There was a predictable factor (reason it's called prophesy). The enitity in this movie is an interesting manifestation. Before seeing this movie, I had had an encounter with something. The creature in the movie was very similar. A sense of foreboding is included with this encounter. I'm not sure this is the direction you wanted me to take. Different creators or collective subconscious?

Back to the subject:
QuotePerhaps it is my own view that jealously is natural. It arises out of a state of fear that one's circumstances are brittle and prone to bad luck. An objective observation will yield that yes, indeed, entropy harms more people than it favors. However the human mind can be used in extropy. Why isn't it practiced?
Will you speak more on this?I'm not sure what you mean.
QuoteAt the end of the day, I just don't understand why people are so negative. Actually, I do understand why people are so negative - they have a great deal of evidence which suggests the universe is a horrible place to live. However, I do not understand why they don't take the very simple and joyously exciting road to self-enlightenment. Is it because of their conditioning?
I agree, and I have the same questions.Conditioning? Probably. If one is never taught (or discover for themself) to think, conditioning is all they have.

QuoteMy journey is halted because I feel I was fertilizing the ground for more madness... a decided no-no.
I think many can say that. But until an alternative plan comes along, what can one do? My experiences has caused me shell shock. :) Anyway, your right, it's the thing to do.

Telos,
This problem is a minor thing for me on a personal level. However, you hit the nail on the head about what is embedded in society. It is very difficult problem on this level .Your not gloating at all.More people should be so observant.

In my opinion, anger exists with or without you. Jealousy is a more personal thing. You may be the focus of someone's (or more) jealousy. It's not your burden, why feed it? Starve a neg. Dealing with other people's neg problems is not worth the time or effort. Protect yourself and your belongings.Experiment by changing or distancing your friends/contacts of suspect. You shouldn't waste your precious time on those who don't have anything to offer, especially if your best interest is not considered by them. If they have something you need for spiritual progression then be prepared to pay the price. Pillaging and plundering comes to mind. Mainly because this is what happened to me (kids  ). A nice lesson about people, but not good when planning your future. In other words, pick your friends carefully. If your ostracized because of who you socialize with, they did you a favor. They made your choice easy.

The best way to see your situation is by assessing the neighbors living around you. The physical goings on in your immediate physical surroungs tells you what is going in your more extended environment. See or hear anything?

Don't be discouraged by the negative collective. Your journey is what ever you want it to be. If you have big ideas don't let anyone get in your way. Keep you path clear.

I like what Leo said about "a big fish in a little pond". It makes sense. I've always thought of it as "a high school mentality", then a few graduate.

I've had personal experience of the drowning. It took four years to get over the ordeal. Illness is a spiritual experience. I suspect God allows one to "heal thyself". It took spiritual intervention toward the end of the four years to finish my healing. It's a learning experience.

To learn to know the mind of God leads to the love of God. These Monroe quotes from God sounds like an imposter. The explanations given in the posts sounds very insightful!!!!

Where does this unconditional love come from?If God is a person, why should  love be a requirement placed upon him? Personally, I think unconditional love is a myth. You can't love someone who is at a distance, unless perhaps you already know that one.

It's a shame some of the most intelligent don't care to know the very person they are closest in similarity.

I rarely dream of the deceased in my dreams. Most of those dreams are the relatives. A few dreams have been about friends and acquaintances.

One dream stands out. It was an invitation by a childhood friend who had died suddenly. My last encounter with her before her death was awful. We had never fought with each other before this one quarrel. I felt so bad to have our last meeting like this. She came back after death and offered to show me around where she went. I declined her offer, but I felt much better about how we parted, and that she forgave me.Her visit was my first experience with oob!

Nay,
A change from power speech to the absurd has happened to me while wakening. This change seems like a change in my age.I think you may have heard something from yourself as a child. Maybe a link to earlier messages, then you converted to child speech as an automatic response. The popsickle subject for instance, is in a little girl's thoughts and vocabulary.

I can't remember a dream of my own speech taking place. I gave an instruction to a group which proved to be effective in waking life.I recall a view speeches by others, not me. Those didn't translate either. It's just a matter of time, it will.

BOATS,
QuoteIt's funny that most people are affraid to die once and I am the same. If you think about it most people who project go througt the NDE hundreds of times.
For me, I didn't think about the death possibilty until I went to bed later the same night. Thinking back on the experience while trying to go to sleep, it hit me as being a NDE. It caused me to panic again. Be careful is all I know to say. It wouldn't hurt to get some expert opinions.

Tyciol,
You ask:
QuoteI'm definitely not justifying it. What gave you that impression?

This statement you made, made me think you thought stealing is okay.

Update on this dream:
QuoteThen I catch sight of one of my keys on the floor. I thought about picking it up, kept going instead.
Today my son found one of my keys in the exact spot in the dream. I must have dropped it there. I wonder if I did it intentionally through the subconscious?

BOATS,

I had what is an Akashic Records encounter a number of years ago. At the time I wasn't aware of such a name. I'm guessing it was on the mental plane. This can't be for sure because I didn't arrive to this place/plane under my own power. This place I was taken seemed to be set up by higher powers(God plane?). The visual (while receiving anything and every kind of information possible) were white lines amid white light fog.It was almost too much to take. It also made me think that I wouldn't be able to come back to this Earth plane. I was in the physical but not sure what time I was taken to.It felt like maybe a pre-birth time or place. I panicked and ended the experience.I was pointed North for this experience. There was an East and West part of this. There was an energy arch or semi-circle on the left (Westward). I wonder if the bridge you mentioned is similar to this energy conduit of some kind I saw?

Not long ago I had a dream about the Records. I was standing by a shelf of books. In the dream I recognized the books as Akashic Records. A couple of books on the shelf were minature houses shaped like books, and people were in them. I didn't understand the dream any more than this.

Akashic records may be on more than one plane.

QuoteBut it was enough to make me think lucidly.
This is an interesting angle.A sign you have a strong constitution. Cool!

QuoteDream sharing would be cool, but she was already awake.
The subconscious works all the time. You may have connected to your wife while she was physically awake, but tuned into her subconscious.
