Can someone let me know if these books are available in eBook form somewhere? They are not available in Kindle format on Amazon but I was hoping they would be available somewhere in eBook form that I could get them from? I read the first one over a decade ago and didn't even know he'd written two more before I joined this site. I'd really like to read them but I much prefer reading on my Kindle than actual paper.

Seems a little overpriced for 50 pages.. I dunno.. $4.99 (on Amazon).. seems a little too much for the amount of content is all I am saying.

Maybe you are trying too hard... maybe you are trying to concentrate on the techniques too much and getting caught up in that. Have you read Frank's stuff at all? There's a great page here:

http://www.astralpulse.com/frankkepple.html

Here's the relevant excerpt that I am referring to:

Quote from: The Frank Kepple Resource PageThe key to Phasing is to just let the experience flow. You need to allow yourself to become it, as opposed to trying to go to it, or point to it, with some kind of "method". Just lay back and simply become it. At which point people usually say, "Yeah, but Frank it's okay for you but when I close my eyes all I see is blackness. "Well, that is all I see at first!"

I think often that people are too hasty to discount these initial stages, and they just go off on some method.

When I close my eyes all I see is blackness. But I think the essential difference between me and many beginners is when they close their eyes they are not really noticing. And that's another key to it... that of noticing self. I think people become too wrapped up in methods and techniques, and it prevents them from really noticing themselves.

Okay, so as I say, when I close my eyes all I see is blackness, which is normal. I'll wriggle around a bit to get comfortable, maybe my knee is itching and my hair is tickling my ear or something. So I'll sort all that out and just concentrate on breathing gently for 5 minutes or so. Now, because I am noticing as opposed to avidly trying to perfect and follow some technique or method, in the traditional sense, my full attention is taken by the simple act of noticing.

People often tell me that they keep trying and they are saying about how they are concentrating upon holding their awareness outside of themselves, and at the same time they are concentrating on "raising energy" and doing everything correctly, and whatever... but nothing is happening. That's right, because all their attention is fixated elsewhere, whereas all my attention is fixated on noticing.

My box is one of those big city dumpsters with the big metal lids.. hehehehe.. I know what you mean though about wanting it to be real and what makes it real to me is when I visualise turning away from it. You know how when you are, physically, standing in a place and you know what is behind you? Like right now I am at my desk at work and my colleague is behind me, his desk, all the things on his desk, the window and all the stuff beyond the window are behind me. When I turn away from the box, I make extra effort to "sense" the box behind me just as if I was looking through my own physical eyes and sensing what I know is behind me. I find it helps if I don't just turn 180 degrees and stand there.. but also walk away from the box (in my mind of course!) a little way.. maybe towards or down a short path, knowing that it is there but also moving away from it.

However, I tend not to move too far away from it because something else I noticed when I was listening to tape 2 was that if I get an errant thought about some physical matter after I have moved beyond that stage, I can quickly chuck the thought "over my shoulder" into the box.. opening the lid with my mind quickly and stuffing the thought in there before quickly closing it again. Seems to work well.

Normally when I visualise something, I see it like I would in a dream. It is just an object either floating in nothingness, or it is on something that I am also visualising (such as my desk at home). Instead of "seeing" it with my own non-physical eyes (or from my viewpoint), in a dream (and before this) I would see it from some displaced point of view.. like when you're in a dream you can see yourself rather than looking from "within" yourself (or more correctly, "through" yourself). When I was visualising my box, I found that I had to consciously decide to "look at it" with my own mind's eyes, as if it was right in front of me. Then, when I turned away, I also concentrated on the sense of actually looking forward toward a pathway and perceiving just as if I was walking along the pathway, away from the box.

Anyway, the other point I want to make is that there is nothing that says your box can't be a little jewllery box, or a safe deposit box, or magical box with glowing energy sides and top.. whatever you interpret the narrator to mean by "box" is entirely up to you and it is your first thought/idea that is generally the "right" one for you. So if you have a box that bares no resemblance to anything from the physical world, that's fine! :) Whatever works for you, as long as you're following along with the concepts of the techniques.. a box is something you store things in.. etc
#155
I should point out that being "comfortable" with and being "master" of something is completely different though. Just because you may have had a little difficulty getting a perfect visualisation of the "box" doesn't mean aren't comfortable with and have a firm understanding of the technique. It will take practise and time to "master" the technique of course. Anyway, yer.. if you listen to the next tape, at any point during the tapes, and find that it is all a bit too much because, while you thought you were fully understanding the previous tape's techniques, you realise you are not ready for it. Just finish the tape anyway, do your best to follow along with everything. Then the next time, just go back to the previous tape. It's best not to interrupt the tapes halfway through, if you can, just so that all the loose ends are all tied up, so to speak. :D

I know we need to put "some" kind of label on the things we experience so that we can communicate our ideas to others, have questions answered and all that.. so some kind of common terms need to be used so that everyone is on the same page, so to speak. However, why choose 'Kundalini'. I've read about this "labelled" force/energy too but I wonder is it purposeful to label experiences in such a way? Rather than focusing on the experience and just "being", we can find that we are concentrating instead on a labelled "concept" and attempting to replicate that concept. So while it is good to have a "label" to explain some experience we are having, I think it is counterproductive to concentrate on the concept rather than the experience itself. There are so many other labels that could be used, ones that are more abstract and generic than specifically denoting it as "kundalini"..

..just thinking outloud.

Well.. the first tape is the introduction.. you can move at your own pace.. use the first tape again if you like.. but the 2nd "tape" builds on the 1st, using the same methods and instructions from the 1st but in less detail. For example, with the "Energy Convergence Box" in the first tape, the narrator goes into detail about what you should be visualising.. it should be big enough to contain everything, be solid, have a heavy lid that will keep the things contained etc etc.. Whereas in the second tape, it will just say "Now focus on your "Energy Convergence Box" and put everything in there, do this now." and then there is a long pause while you do that. There's no detailed explanation of what you should be trying to visualise etc. It's the same with all the other parts, the 2nd tape uses those things but assumes that you are already familiar with them and doesn't waste time explaining them in detail.

So the "right time" to move on to the next one is completely individual but it would be at a point when you are comfortable with the material presented, so that when you move on to the next tape and the narrator assumes your knowledge and comfort with these techniques, you won't feel out of your depth. For example, if you have trouble visualising the box and doing the "offloading of physical matters etc", then you would not be "ready" to move on to the next tape, and so on.

Something I have become aware of today, after reading Frank's stuff is that I am much more focused on the "here and now" than I was before. Obviously being at work needs me to focus here on my work.. but I am easily distracted and while I've never been clinically disagnosed with ADD/ADHD, I am sure I have it to some degree. I find that my understanding of the concepts in regards to the different focuses has allowed me to be more focused on my work or whatever I am actively doing in the F1 state, rather than being constantly distracted.

And now of course you know what those sounds were that your hubby was making.. hehehehhehe.. The "Resonant Tuning" thing.. :)

As per the instructions, "During the breathing exercises, follow the pacing on the tape to the extent that it is comfortable for you. As the Resonant Tuning chant begins on the tape, continue the same breathing pattern, vocalizing with the "aaah," "oooh," and "uuum" sounds as you exhale."

:D

Something I realised yesterday, as I was reading the "Frank Kepple Resource" page, is that I have been "trying" to OBE. Yes, you need to make your desire and intent known; yes, you need to want it to happen and all that.. but you don't necessarily have to "try" to "make" it happen. You just have to sit back and "let" it happen after you've made your intent and desire clear (through affirmations and talking to yourself etc). Don't push for an OBE, don't expect for anything to happen, don't "try".. just consciously "allow" it to happen naturally. Yoda, from Star Wars, sums it up quite well.. "There is no try. Do or do not." :)

Hee hee..  :-D

QuoteThis was a short rather uneventful OBE, yet one that I clearly remember as being vivid and in full clear vision and control.

Certainly not uneventful. Think of all the things that happened. You had a full awareness experience. You used your "tools" to increase your awareness and had a breakthrough in that regard, learning that you really can push your awareness out wider with just a "thought" or "affirmation".

In regards to the altered reality, I'm not entirely sure what to make of it in terms of symbology. Do you have any worries about bills or money at the moment? Could be just those worries being reflected in your state. As for the rest, I think it's good to remember that all realities and experiences are occuring and existing at the same time in the same space, all the time. While you were still within the range of your physical body, you were clearly within the Real Time Zone (RTZ) area but when you stepped outside, you were clearly no longer in that RTZ area of awareness. Were you within your own subjectively created reality of your subconscious or in a wider reality, seeing a different point of awareness that was independant of your objective reality, I can't say...

Sounds like you had a good time.. sounds like it was a great experience. If you want to explore it further, I can only suggest what I would likely do and that is, during the next experience or meditation oeriod, ask for assistance in understanding the "event".
#163
I don't know really a lot about this but from what I do understand, I don't think it can really work that way due to the nature of the focus of awareness for those people. They are in a place of "subjective" awareness that is made "objective" by their perception of the "place" they are in. They are trapped by their own minds, so to speak. Some of them may have already "escaped", others may take a while to escape and still more may a very long time to escape. From what I understand of what Frank Kepple says, each "individual" exists in an area that they have "chosen" subjectively. "Like attracts like", so bunchs of them may end up together.. but remember that this is non-physical, so just because they may have all been in, for example, Cambodia that doesn't necessarily mean that they are "together" in their subjective afterlife realities.

To free them each one at an individual objective level within their subjective shared space(s) would need to start to question the reality(es) they are objectively perceiving. At that point, a "helper" could come along and attempt to "guide" them out of the prison they have created for themselves.. but to do it all in one go for even 2 people, let alone hundreds, thousands or millions, just doesn't seem possible unless, due to the objective experiences of all the people grouped within a subjective area suddenly all started to question their reality, it would be nigh impossible to shake the foundations of their subjective reality.

Anyway.. like I say.. I am not really too experienced in these matters.. so I don't really know for sure.

Hehe.. he is like the "control group" in the experiment. He hasn't really been given any intent or knowledge of what to expect. So I think it will be good for both of you in this joint journey, as when things begin to happen, you can each validate one another's experiences. Everyone's journey is a little different though.. so Focus 2 experiences may not be really compared side by side...

Great stuff! I haven't been having any luck lately.. but I am not giving up. I've had a few "near misses" but nothing substantial. However last night there is a period of time that is missing to me. I remember rewinding my tape because I got interupted, I remember getting through some of the tape.. and then nothing. I woke up with my glasses still on but my headphones had been taken off and my light turned off (I had the bedside light on).. and I have no recollection of anything in between. As I woke up, it was different to a normal waking.. I woke before my alarm and it was like I was coming up out of a pool of water, where the water was a deeper level of awareness rather than any physical feeling..

Oh well.. glad you are starting to have more experiences, it gives me hope that if I keep practising, I will get there eventually. :)

Tilt your head.. it lines up. :)

For me, it's my left eye that does the "cross" while my right eye, which is my dominant eye, stays focused. So the blue circle appears to move from left to right and ends up just slightly above the red one. If I tilt my head to the right, the blue circle goes down (in an arc), it I tilt my head to the left, the blue circle moves up (in an arc); while the red circle stays still.

This has been such an eye-opener for me.. but the funny thing is, it's kind of like I always knew these things and Frank's words just re-affirmed it, which makes sense considering what Frank has talked about there. As I was reading about the "F4" section, regarding the infinite time thing.. the best analogy I could find for this, to make it understandable to me, is when an archer (or some other sportsperson who shoots or throws something) imagines their intent to get the arrow to the target. They visualise not just the pulling of the bow, the release of the arrow, the travel of the arrow along its trajectory, and its impact as "separate" events; they visualise the whole thing happening simultaneously. Each of those "parts" of the "whole" are all the same "action".. a thought brought into action, into reality. So when "we" as F4-consciousness "chose" to experience physical stuff, it is the same as when the archer visualises the whole process and then puts that thought into action.

Just my 2 cents..

Quote from: Dazino on September 08, 2011, 11:35:06It is all about willpower and visualization. My own banishing ritual is quick and simple, as my intent is perfectly clear, the words are just icing on the cake. It goes something like this: (After Grounding, creating your bubble of energy, and sealing it with your symbols) "I now banish all Negative and harmful energies, entities, and influences from my body, spirit, and mind. My sacred space protects me from all forms of harm, and draws inward, pure, healing, and helpful energy to rejuvenate my being."

Sounds very similar to just about every energy building/resonance tecnhique to be honest. Not trying to trivialise your method, just making an observation. In the most recent one I was reading last night, the Monroe Institute "Resonant Tuning" method, you are essentially "breathing in" the pure, healing, helpful energies and "expelling/exhaling" all the negative/harmful energies. This is similar to many Yoga-based breathing excercises as well.

I think that, in the end, as you said.. it is all about the intent, will power and visualisation (to make it "real").

The whole Lamborghini thing with the cop kinda makes sense if you think about the fact that your "guides" don't wanna freak you out. It was the way they figured would be the most beneficial to you "at this time".. the easiest for you to cope with I guess. A cool looking car.. nothing weird about that.. and a sheriff, a safe/secure person you can trust etc etc..

#170
Oh.. I was looking at the description of that and it says it only works to get you to Focus 10.. not to Focus 21.. Maybe I just don't understand what is being done during the "guided meditation" sessions on the CDs..

I find "guided" works a lot better for me. I have the Pzizz Sleep app for iPod Touch, which is a guided sleep thing with Isotonic sounds and stuff.. works really well and then reinforces "good" stuff after you go to sleep etc.. but its intent is to cause you to sleep rather than to go deep into your mind but stay aware etc
#171
These "gateway" tapes.. are they the Monroe Institute tapes? I am trying to find which ones to buy.. I'd prefer if they were digital download rather than physical CDs though.. but can you share the link to them?

EDIT: Oh wait.. think I just found them... $499...??? Bit too rich for me.. I can barely scrape together enough to live on let alone 500 bucks for some CDs.. 18 CDs yes.. but.. yer too expensive for me :(

It seems to me more that:

1. JREF are the ones seeking publicity.
2. JREF want their cake and to eat it too. (They offer a challenge but want to use their own "biased" and "unobjective" testing standards.. ie. pseudo-science)

Yer I agree that he didn't really answer the questions posed to him.. not that he has to answer them directly mind you.. but I agree he didn't. He used the same "if you grew up 'there', you'd believe in 'this'" answer that he's used a bunch of times.. almost word for word the same response that I've heard him use elsewhere.. so if anything, he was flippant..
#174
Yer.. I don't have problems with my GSGII either.. just more usable with a dedicated app is all. :)

Hehehe.. at work now.. I just noticed that there was another thread already asking for Tapatalk.. so I'm sorry about the double up. Tapatalk basically consolidates everything into a mobile app format rather than just a browser. I remember, before I got my new phone yesterday and tried it out for myself, when someone asked about getting Tapatalk for another forum and everyone (including me!) basically said the same thing, "It displays correctly on most smartphone's browsers.. what's the point of going to all that bother?". Now that I have used it, I can see what all the fuss is about. It makes using php and bb forums SOOOOOO much easier on Android (and iPhone too I would assume, if iPhone has a Tapatalk app).

Anyway, I'll PM Adrian and see if he can arrange it. Either that, or a dark theme.. my AMOLED display uses less battery with dark (especially black) colours.
