No romance between gf/bf is different.
I think there is a serious problem with having many partners at the same time, but I just can't put my finger on it.
Wouldn't security be another thing that places a line between friends and lovers?

It's interesting though why a relationship has to be worked at to maintain but a friendship doesn't.

When every school teaches that 2+2=4 then of course we would assume that it is reality if we agree with that notion. If you started speaking a weird language everyone would think you are insane, but if we were never raised to speak English and that language instead it would fall into the parameters of reality. I wouldn't rely too much on what you see around you to be real and limiting (the article above showed that no limits really exist).

Of course the Astral proves experientially that higher realities than the physical exist.

Sometimes I get precognition but I don't "see" the object like is often depicted, I usually just get a hunch and just feel and "know" that something is going to happen.

It is impossible to either prove or disprove whether what we see is real.

Here is an interesting article on the power of suggestion:

QuoteIn  1950, a new drug called Krebiozen had received sensational national publicity as a "cure" for cancer and was being tested by the American Medical Association (AMA) and the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA). One of the researchers involved in this testing was a doctor called Bruno Klopfer.

One of Dr. Klopfer's patients, a Mr. Wright was suffering from cancer of the lymph nodes. All standard treatments had been exhausted, and Wright appeared to have little time left.  His neck, armpits, chest, abdomen, and groin were filled with tumors the size of oranges, and his spleen and liver were so enlarged that two quarts of milky fluid had to be drained out of his body each day.

When Wright discovered that Dr. Klopfer was involved in research on Krebiozen, he begged to be given Krebiozen treatments. At first his doctor refused because the drug was untested and only being tried on people with a life expectancy of at least three months.  Wright begged so hard, however, that Klopfer decided to give him one injection on Friday, though he secretly suspected Wright would not last the weekend.

Dr. Klopfer was in for a big surprise.

On the following Monday, Klopfer found Wright out of bed and walking around.  Klopfer reported that his tumors had "melted like snowballs on a hot stove" and were half their original size.  This was a far more rapid decrease in size than even the strongest X-ray treatments could have accomplished.

Ten days after Wright's first Krebiozen treatment, he left the hospital and was, as far as his doctors could tell, cancer free.  When he had entered the hospital, he had needed an oxygen mask to breathe, but when he left he was well enough to fly his own plane at 12,000 feet with no discomfort.

Wright remained well for about two months, but then articles began to appear asserting that Krebiozen actually had no effect on cancer of the lymph nodes.  Wright, who was rigidly logical and scientific in his thinking, became very depressed, suffered a relapse, and was readmitted to the hospital.  This time his physician decided to try an experiment.

Dr. Klopfer told Wright that Krebiozen was every bit as effective as it had seemed, but that some of the initial supplies of the drug had deteriorated during shipping.  He explained, however, that he had a new highly concentrated version of the drug and could treat Wright with this.  Of course, the physician did not have a new version of the drug and intended to inject Wright with nothing more than plain sterile water.

Again the results were dramatic.  Tumor masses melted, chest fluid vanished, and Wright was quickly back on his feet and feeling great. Yet he had been injected with nothing more than sterile water.

Wright remained symptom-free for another two months, but then the American Medical Association announced that a nationwide study of Krebiozen had found the drug worthless in the treatment of cancer.  This time Wright's faith was completely shattered.  His cancer blossomed anew and he died two days later.

Wright's story is tragic, but it contains a powerful message:  When we are fortunate enough to bypass our disbelief and tap the healing forces within us, we can cause tumors to melt away overnight. The patient's mind alone, independent of the value of the medication, produced his recovery.

- Bruno Klopfer, "Psychological Variables in Human Cancer," Journal of Prospective Techniques 31 (1957), pp. 331-40

Reality, it seems, is what we perceive it to be.

Lol hallucinating. Yes you're probably right, the idea scares me though.

wisp I've looked at that thread and I think someone said that the symptoms mentioned are quite vague. I think that is true - I'm sure I've got most of them, but so could anyone else.
Do you know of any links that have more information about this? I've looked at the source site from the thread mentioned above and it seems to be quite limiting in information.
Apart from this issue my short term memory is a lot worse than it was a few months ago, as well as my ability to pay attention. I assumed this was just a part of aging though. Do you have any suggestions about what to do about the "ascension symptoms" if that's in fact what they are?

Thanks

True, it does offer stability I guess. I think the bigger problem is defining a relationship within it's self. So many people choose to be friends with benefits after some time, because relationships are too complicated. But why do they have to be? By defining them I believe we are making them complicated. wisp, it's interesting what you said but I definantly don't want to be solely friends with her, I have friends already. But have you noticed how much easier it is to get along with a good friend than in a relationship at times. What is the cause of this?

I've just been noticing lately how associated people have become with language and its supposed meanings. For example, every time I kiss my girlfriend on the cheek she will become frustrated because "only friends do that" and will think that I "meant" something by it. But kissing anywhere else will not lead to this conclusion. Can you see how ridiculous this is? I guess this is a problem of societal and cultural shaping in belief systems, as well as personal ideas about things. This is probably the main issue. I guess it is the same as questioning your own beliefs but only doing it together in a relationship, which would make it much more challenging. But it's interesting to observe how our beliefs limit us in this way anyhow.

I checked the logs and what I said is not there. Something is wrong though... I've even had basic precognition before and it doesn't feel as tangible as reality. This I'm sure 100% that it happened, but apparently it didn't.

I don't understand how my mind could produce a partly fake event and pass it off as real, and if it did then where did the dream produce the info that she was really going to lunch the next day? This thing has only happened to me once and it feels very unusual, makes me feel like I'm going crazy.

Hi

2 days ago my gf went to lunch with someone and I talked to her on the phone. She was going to go to lunch with her friend and some of her other friends. We talked about this on the phone a bit and about her friends. I talked to her yesterday about how it went too and asked her about her friends on MSN.

Today I asked her again and she was very surprised and asked what the hell I am talking about. I tried convincing her that she had said all of this in the last few days but she said she has no idea what I'm talking about. She did however go to lunch with her one friend at exactly the same time, but doesn't know about any of the other people I mentioned.

What is going on here? I am very confused. I posted here because a dream is my only explanation but I don't get how areas of my memory could be updated several times throughout 2 days. It feels really awkward because I checked the MSN logs and there is no record of me saying any of the things I recall saying. I am 100% positive that these things happened; I am very sharp when it comes to these things. And in the same phone conversation that she told me that she was going to lunch in the first place was where she mentioned her other friends. All this actually happened except there were no other friends, just her one friend at lunch. Now that I look back on it, her inviting these "new" friends that I had not heard of before seems kind of out of place. Am I going insane? Does anyone have an explanation to what is going on in my head?

Thanks

I just signed up for an account and when you click on the picture on the main blog page it has other pictures. I think you guys should have a look. There is definantly a very surreal and cold vibe coming from her. It sends chills down my spine. She is very beautiful though. Look into her eyes.

Wow 350GB is a lot. You will have to get a dedicated server to be able to host that much. Although I know Yahoo! will give you 200GB for $39 a month and Alternative Web Services (An Australian Company) will give you 100GB for just over $20AU. I have used both and they both have exceptional service and reliability. It's probably the best offers I can think of at the moment. Good luck with it though. :)

She's hot.

darkheaven I agree with Tyciol. Is that a link to her blog you posted above? I read through some of her blogs and she seems normal, certainly not like someone who would try to attack you, although she may be depressed. I think you're right about some of the stuff you posted above though. Keep us posted, your research is quite interesting.

Hi everyone,

It is absolutely driving me insane that we have to define relationships. For example we have to say "we are boyfriend and girlfriend" or "we are a couple" or "we are friends" or "we are friends with benefits" ect. What does each of these actually entail? What is the root purpose of such titles and statements? Security? I have gotten to the point where I just want to say "I Am" next time my girlfriend asks me "why do you act *this* way if you love me, you should act like *this* if you want to be my bf, otherwise we are just friends". This "labelling" seems to take a great toll on freedom and liberation. My question is why can't people live as a couple and let their relationship be governed by moral truths and the sense of righteousness and devotion to each other? Why must we place chains on ourselves instead of just accepting a union as is? Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this just overanalyzing the reality of a partnership. Sorry for ranting, I am having relationship problems at the moment and this is driving me crazy. If you think there is valid reason for such labelling I would love to hear your thoughts. I hope there is sense in what I'm saying.

Thanks

PeaceSpirit are you talking about the collective unconsciousness? Of course if this is the case then it would be absurd to deny its existence. Although I didn't think it was tangible so I don't know how it could be perceived in the astral, or physical for that matter.

But I agree with Potatis, please inform us about what you mean. I'm interested too.

Additional Notes

I had some trouble explaining how to apply active visualization. This is the key to achieving "spur of the moment" activities effectively, successfully and accurately. An idea just came to mind that might make the method clearer to some people.

When I refer to visualizing in the first part of the article it can be analogized with "sage knowledge". Sage knowledge is often referred to as a type of knowledge that exists but most people are unaware of. It can be explained by tasting an apple, for example. When you think "what would it be like to taste an apple" you do not think about it but the taste is actually reproduced experientially on a level. This is practical visualization. Pre-constructing the moment that will follow with concentration but without thought or emotion. Please do not mistake "feeling" for emotion, the moment must be "felt" before the action is done. In terms of sage knowledge, we can "know" what it is like to be cold without being cold. We can "know" what it is like to have sex even if we are a virgin. We can "know" what it is like to inhale a cigarette without inhaling it. It is like the reproduction of sensation mentioned in NEW but with practical visualization we are creating the sensation we desire with our visualization.

An Article: Practical Visualization

I would like to share with anyone interested just how effective visualization can be integrated into the problems of every day life. Visualization combined with concentration is a key to success that is often overlooked. This is a simple method but it may be useful to some people, as it has certainly been useful to me.

Practical Visualization

There is a customary attraction at theme parks and arcades that I'm sure you are familiar with on some level. It is often set up as a game which requires a person to throw a small plastic ball into an opening from a distance (sometimes these are moving clowns or simply a hole in the wall). If they get the ball into the opening a certain number of times without missing they win the game. This demonstrates the principle. But ultimately practical visualization can be applied to any practical exercise (throwing rings on to a hoop, target practice ect.)

I can often do this kind of thing effortlessly, although sometimes not. Often I find myself being able to throw a piece of rubbish into the bin from 20ft or so with 100% accuracy. This is just one example. This used to happen to me all the time coincidently. Have you ever noticed that sometimes you throw something into the air in no particular direction and it ends up hitting someone, even though it could have gone anywhere else? I used to believe this is coincidence but lately have been finding myself been able to control it. Today I tossed a Mars bar into the cupboard instead of placing it carefully in its place. Before I did this I visualized the Mars bar flying across the area and landing in the spot at a precise angle and everything. Instantaneously after applying the visualization I tossed it and it landed in the cupboard 100% as visualized.

Now, imagine if you could master this method. You might estimate that you have a 5-10% chance of hitting a golf ball into a hole 100ft away. However if you visualize the outcome you desire and hit the club instantaneously afterwards, the chanced are you will be much more successful then thinking and planning which angle you will hit it from ect.

The Method

A couple of things are required to do this. Spontaneity is the most important. I simply cannot do this while being nervous, or be thinking about the action I want to do. Almost all the time I have done this my mind was not thinking about the outcome. However, concentration is the key. The method consists of being alert and present in the moment. Concentrate on your actions, then visualize the desired outcome without thinking, then immediately do the action. You will be surprised by what you can achieve with this.

Note: When we visualize we are effectively pre-constructing the event which will take place. But this is not done in the mind. We do not think about it (although we do for long term goals as described later). The event simply needs to be pre-constructed as if you are actually doing it (ie. seeing it happen in front of you).

Belief

Belief is the limiting factor in all visualization exercises. If you believe you cannot do something it may not be very effective to visualize doing it, but it may still help. To visualize shooting a target with a bow for example, and then think "It is too far, I will never be able to shoot it" is counterproductive. However by suspending thought in the moment after visualization and simply taking action we can basically achieve anything we can visualize.

Why It Works

What we visualize is the same as what actually happens, on some level. Let me explain. In Psycho-Cybernetics, Maxwell Maltz explains that the human neurological system registers visualized, or imagined events just the same as it registers real, actual events. For this reason our beliefs are the only thing holding us back. If it is possible to visualize something that "can" be done then why can't it be done? Belief...

"Long" Term Visualization for Success

The power of visualization is exceedingly underestimated. Apart from active, practical visualization, visualization can be applied in all areas of life. I am really bad at public speaking or anything social in general. In high school I used to avoid speeches by taking sick days and would just "read" the speech off a piece of paper when forced to do it. I would almost never get a higher mark than 55%. In my last year of high school however when I had to do it I was looking forward to the speech somewhat. For a few nights before the speech I visualized doing it successfully before going to sleep (this proved to be MUCH more effective than practicing it repeatedly with someone as I had learnt to do previously). When I applied concentration on the day of the speech it went really well and I was able to stay present in the moment and [almost] everything fit into place perfectly without me having to remember it or write it down. I was also hardly nervous, since I had visualized myself doing the task successfully in advance. I got 80% for the speech.

By consistently visualizing an event contrary to how we believe it will be (ie. instead of saying you are not good at something, visualizing that you are), the outcome can be altered to what you desire. I have discovered visualization coupled with concentration to be a miraculous problem solving mechanism. However my mind gets in the way too much for it to be effective to its highest potential. I have also learnt experientially that true knowledge does not come from the mind/psyche, but from being present and centred in the moment. It is quite interesting to note that many of Einstein's acclaimed formulas were materialized while he was in a state of "no-thought". Without giving the mind time to get in the way, spontaneously with visualization we can achieve great things.

So according to this if our consciousness does not resonate at a high enough level to reside in 4D before 2012 we will face destruction (80% of the population)?

When the writer states that people will have to choose 1 of 3 paths (3D, 4D or 5D) is this metaphorical?

Does anyone here believe that their consciousness resonates at "4D or higher"?
