Hey I'd never heard of the blue man group before - but I think they just got a new fan
Their new way of getting more sales seems to work. Heh

Hehe imagine walking around as a puppet or dummy, scaring the s*** out of people.

Quote from: NickJWInteresting. there was no record of Jesus Christ unti, about 170 AD, and several catholic papers including a pope stated that jesus was a myth. Did you also know that the New Testament is based on astrology?

The Christ Conspiracy - you should read it, great book, it actually proves that Jesus never was a real man, but just an invented headfigure, like all Pagan Gods.

Lol I've never heard of that one before. How does it 'prove' it?

What a waste of healing... I couldn't live without my 3 lie-ins per week...
Actually I do find it kind of unbelievable, and weird. Would you kindly describe your healing techniques for us?

To anyone who actually watched that film and believed it, you should read this:
http://skeptico.blogs.com/skeptico/2005/04/what_the_bleep_.html

QuoteUnfortunately the theory of quantum mechanics does not say this [that reality is created by the mind]. The film makers are confusing the theory of quantum mechanics with an interpretation of quantum mechanics. This is an explanation to help understand what might be going on, but it is not part of the theory because it is not falsifiable: it cannot be tested in such a way that, if it were false, it would fail the test (without falsifying the whole of quantum mechanics, and therefore all the other interpretations too).
Quote from: One of the scientists on the filmI was edited in such a way as to completely suppress my actual views about the matters the movie discusses. I am, indeed, profoundly unsympathetic to attempts at linking quantum mechanics with consciousness. Moreover, I explained all that, at great length, on camera, to the producers of the film ... Had I known that I would have been so radically misrepresented in the movie, I would certainly not have agreed to be filmed.

We can't be having people believing science supports mysticism now, can we?

Quote from: AstralBornIf it were me seeing the blue faced wierdo I would have wished for a  new remote...   this ones broken

Again... Conscious mind... You want a guide... you make a guide...
You dont have to directly think you want somthing for it to be done with your conscious mind...

I think one of us misunderstands the roles of the conscious/subconscious mind. The conscious may indeed want it, but the subconscious creates it. Otherwise you'd have to mentally control each and every piece of them and what they do/say. Let's face it, if I'm unaware that I'm creating my guides then I'm obviously not going to be creating every bit of them in the forefront of my mind. Who exactly decided that my main guide was going to be wearing a pink cowboy outfit the first time I met her? I didn't consciously choose that...

Quote from: SelskiI've never seen him since...
Lol he daren't show his face in public ever again...
#183
Quote from: SelskiI even wondered if he was on his way to a fancy dress party.
Probably going the same place as my guides then...

If they were part of my conscious mind then I'd be actively creating them.. That is why I said subconscious.

Quote from: AstralBornYes, it is an exaggeration... it's more like 59mins and 59seconds...
No, it is true...
I go to sleep at 11:00PM every saturday and wake up at midnight...
Sometimes im to busy and forget... in which case I wait till the next saturday...
One only needs to sleep because ones body needs sleep to fix itself...
I have extramly advanced healing abilitys... My body doesnt need sleep to heal itself... So, I dont need sleep, But I do so because I enjoy dreaming...

Are you serious?! I'm beginning to believe you  WTF?
#185
If my spirit guides don't exist then I assume you believe they are a part of the subconscious mind, yes? Well, that doesn't stop this blue man being produced by the same process.

Quote from: AstralBornOne cannot change the look of there domanant body
But again, that's just a conjecture (to me at least, since I haven't seen evidence either way). Would you say my physical body is my dominant body at the moment? I can change the way it looks quite drastically with minimal effort. All I need is a sharp knife and some painkillers.

Haha that dream is hilarious! I've had a few like that where I was watching fish escape from our tank with jet packs.. and one where I unscrewed the top of my skull to take fish out of it.. Hmm fish seems to be a common theme here..

Anyway, I don't think it's meaningless. Its probably very highly symbolic. Or maybe it just means you need more sleep.
Lol.. One hour a week? I hope that's an exaggeration!
#187
I think it's a commonly accepted belief among AP'ers that there is (or are, I forget), but whether there is or not I dunno. I've had some experiences without an astral body, so perhaps the body is just like a 'residual self-image' (phrase courtesy of the Matrix  ) that the mind projects into the astral while 'projecting'. But then what about the chakras? Are they cemented into the astral body or something else?

Welcome to Out of Body Experiences! / language
January 23, 2006, 13:10:58
Quote from: AstralBornThe above words are not writen in a language from earth... Any similarities are purely coincidental...

So these aliens who invented this language use the latin alphabet and restrict themselves to only the syllables that can be pronounced with human vocal chords? Hehe

About language.. I have no idea and I've never thought of it before. AstralBorn's probably right.

Quote from: NayMy question is, do you see yourself as a ball of energy or are you just using that has how you feel at the time?

Sometimes I'm just unaware that I have an astral body (like your giant head, then).. But one or two times I've felt that I was an orb-like sphere. I can't see it because when I look in the mirror it's like a window rather than a mirror. It's hard to describe.. I just *know* I'm a sphere, lol.

Quote from: AstralBornyes dingo, but "spirits" are dead people... and they are in the RTZ because they are to weak to go where they are suposed to...
And if you have no physical body your astral body becomes your domanant body and it cannot be ulterd,
And living projectors dont tend to stop and chat to people at the end of there bed...
I've never seen any evidence to suggest that dead people can't change the way their astral bodies look, but it's plausible, and beside the point.
This blue guy could have been a spirit guide, in which case, he would have chosen to look the way that would be most comfortable with micko.
You're not seriously suggesting my spirit guides died at a fancy dress party are you?
#190
They would look like anything they wanted to look like. Sometimes I've looked at my own astral body in the RTZ and found I was semitransparent blue or silver. Sometimes I don't even have a body, and I'm just like a ball of energy.

Quote from: Soulja_its a prompt time a wake up sign to make yall of you conscience of someting but the something is.. i dont know its still a mystery, like the other one said, coincidence doesnt exist
Why can't coincidences exist? I'm not saying meaningful synchronicity doesn't happen, I'm just saying that sometimes apparent 'coincidences' can turn out to be very likely, and so meaningless, because they happen all the time and to everyone.

Quote from: Soulja_and about the 2012 alots of scientist and theory it is affect with the new world order or end of the world just google it there alots of thing
Please don't use the words 'Scientist' and '2012' in the same sentence.

Thank you.

Welcome to Integral Philosophy! / Re: FEAR
January 22, 2006, 08:59:59
Quote from: cardioI know there is no danger, etc., but fear is not rational.
Fear is not rational? You don't just get scared for no reason. It's probably just fear of the unknown - try to read as many accounts of OBEs as possible. Try to understand a bit better what happens when you're out.

Quote from: cardioI've taken some attitudes like: look for fear's causes and stare at them while I study myself. But it doesn't work by now.
I'm sorry but that just sounds silly to me. It's not going to get rid of your fear as much as staring at the headlights of a car stops it coming. Figure out precisely what it is you're fearing and just read about it on the Internet.

Good luck.

You leave a part of yourself in your body when you 'leave' it. I believe you were hearing with your physical ears. It probably is possible to hear things at a distance though.
Even more confusing is when you can see from both astral and physical bodies at once...

Quote from: Astral Projectiondingo, Wikipedia is not reliable source, anyone can Edit it so.....
Yes, that is true, I guess.

What's wrong with these explanations?

Am I the odd one out?

The spiders and words are almost certainly hypnagogic imagery. The blue people ... dunno. Spirits I guess. Maybe your guides.
Apart from the spiders, I've had similar experiences.

You can have the astral skills you had then. You've probably just forgotten how to use them :)

Quote from: Icct_HedralA context which, if the allegories of old hold true, paints a vivid picture of a world that apparently threatened the well-being of the whole/greater community, and was cast out of it's familiar associations to evolve and progress through thousands of years of isolation...

http://www.exopolitics.com

How can you read that and not question its truth?
#200
Not sure why I do it... I think maybe I enjoy the sensations that go with it - the vibrations, the weird noises, the hypnagogia.. And of course, I have a huge list of things I want to do and try OOB, for example, swimming, visiting other planets, etc.
