It remembers the last time you logged in and displays the topics that you missed (were posted on) while you were gone. Whenever you leave the site or disconnect from the internet you reset the counter to that time.Active Topics (in the menu bar) has the list of all the topics with new posts in them. Much easier than searching through every single forum []If you leave and come back within like 30 minutes and there's only about 5 active topics, goto the section and change it from the last time you logged in to, say, the last 2 or 6 hours.~Squeek]

[Reading this whole topic made me think really hard on what I would do if the same were to happen to me. I came to these conclusions.1. I do not think the man will try to meet you in person again, meet you here, or call you. The situation I picture here is from The Matrix (Aren't they all!) Morpheus calls Neo and tells him enough to prove that there is a Morpheus out there, and he can help. He doesn't force Neo to meet him at all, it was Neo himself who had to put forth the effort.
