That's crazy.  :-o

Calea Z (dream herb) gave me some very vivid dreams.

I'm starting to think the RTZ is completely expectation and belief based. RTZ = the Shamanic "middle world"? How about you guys?

Thanks for the link Greytraveler. Seems there are quite a few meetups for NYers like myself.

Good job.  :-D

I've heard it's important to confront these things for they can be aspects of the self seeking reunification.

Yea same thing happens to me at times. I'll have all of these great plans about meeting with a spiritual guide and I'll end up fondling the first attractive chick I see.  I've gotten much better over the past few years and now this doesn't happen much at all. Yea, meditation can be tough in our busy lives. It's definitely worth honing that focus because it is necessary to get anywhere in a though-responsive environment.

Stuff happens everywhere all the time. I'm not saying you can't pick up on precognitive information, but that's a stretch.

Sounds like you found your way out of body. Your focus and control need some work. Have you looked into meditation? Is going after girls your priority when OBE or is that simply what you thought to do during the experience?

I've had strange dreams connected to my mantra where I am taken to worlds outside my reference of space and time - for example Tibetan monasteries for hundreds of years ago.

Very interesting dreams. I believe in dream healing as well. I've woken up with some crazy emotions that keep me high-on-life for days.  8-)

We should organize a "Non-physical experience" Conference and invite all of the authors and frequent flyers on the forums to try and get some agreed upon terminology.  8-)

The distinctions you make between mode 1 and 2 are interesting. I was under the impression they were both termed the real time zone and rich with reality fluctuations. I personally always find myself in mode 2 - an imperfect copy of physical reality.

Hey Summerlander - Do you mind if I repost this on the Shroomery forum? I'll be sure to link it here and give you credit.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / Re: What am I?

Very interesting read. I once had a dream where I met a light-being which referred to itself as a Plaedien. We were viewing this giant battlefield far below, which I interpreted as Earth. I don't know what I am. I know I'm more attracted to these esoteric ideas than most people. I try to not let it go to my head and think I am special or anything. I just wish I had more guidance in life sometimes - more inspiration to get over anxieties and whatnot. The sky just thundered, lol. Well, to the human incarnation. At least we are living in exciting times. Had a dream last night dealing with music and cloud computing - Interesting I came across your idea about music today.

I get this, mine are always blue. It's like a quick flash. Sometimes they can stay for a few seconds. I started to get this when I started to meditate.

Robert Bruce in Astral Dynamics talks a lot about energy work and the major and minor chakras. I didn't buy into them much. The root chakra, located at the base of the spine, is very noticeable when a sexual thought arises during meditation. The third-eye chakra acts up on me at times - you feel pressure in the center of the forehead. I once had a beautiful meditation experience where I felt like I went into my heart, or solar plexus, and felt this intense bliss for a few seconds. Om Mani Padme Hum.

You can sense the future from the energy at the time, but nothing is set in stone. Knowing the future can help you change it.  8-)

Welcome to Magic! / Re: What is Magic?

I agree with Xanth - It's just focused intent. Ritual can help solidify this intent. IMO the most powerful magic is that which is allowed to flow through you from the Source. Om Mani Padme Hum  8-)

Thanks for posting, Enjoyed that interview.  8-)

I love how random books will find their way to us right when we need them.

Happy Birthday Summy!

There's this lady who takes the form of a family friend. She was in a lot of my early lucid dreams when I was trying to fly and whatnot. I asked her what her job was once and she said "Director of Teaching."

Crazy experience man. From my experience UFOs in dreams represent higher aspects of our own consciousness. If I were you, I would entertain the possibility that the entire experience was a neutral experience, and it was your own fear that created it to a negative experience.

The whole dream with you being the cashier brings up the idea of trust. Do you trust in the Universe? Or do you see it as a negative thing? I found it interesting that in the dream you did not know the prices, but you had to trust the customers were giving you the correct prices. Similarly, someone took advantage of your trust by trying to steal an items, which resulted in the shooting scene - where you are "killing" all of these different people, perhaps aspects of the Self.

Very interesting experience in all. Next time try and relax and see if you can communicate with the being.

Sometimes my waking mind has trouble processing my non-physical memories because of the context in which the waking mind operates. An example being colors which are not part of the waking visible spectrum. Another being the hyper-dimensionality of some nonphysical experiences.
