I learned about projection about 4 months ago and I'm just about 19 now.  I'm not scared at all when thinking about them.  My problem with fear is right when the separation comes on I panick for no reason everytime and so far I've screwed up 40+ projections doing that.  The only thing about it that makes me scared is that damn paralysis right when it happens I still can't get over it though.

I hope there isn't reincarnation there is no way I'm coming back again as a different person.

I'm not sure I'm still waiting for their July esoteric course.  Their AP course is in the file library here though if you want to check that out:

Hi Mica, good to hear from you again.

One odd thing that happens to me is seconds after laying down on my back intense sensations start and after trying projection I even get them slightly sometimes when I'm fully awake and not in bed.  To get the vibrations if I can't stay relaxed and if my mind isn't chattering too much I just sort of try to stare past the blackness that I'm seeing in the back of my eyes.  I basically just try to look past it while trying not to focus on anything in particular, if I get bored with that I'll focus on something else like breathing or I'll picture myself either getting light or heavy but it's not always necessary.

I do see a little movement and colors but it's nothing like the hypnotic imagery that I've heard others describe.  I never really try to focus on the 3rd eye but I can feel it sometimes on my forehead.  It's hard to explain but around that area especially and in other parts of my head it will kind of feel like energy trying to push out, that doesn't bother me at all though.  It seems like 90% of the time when I do fall asleep on my back the separation comes on if I can relax that long.  One problem I have with vibrations because of how intense they can be most of the time I scare myself of it the separation and purposely stop it for no good reason.

Good luck with projection.

Thanks for the advice I tried a cushion under my legs and it helped because I was able to bring the vibrations on for the first time in a few weeks.  I messed it up because I got freaked out when it looked like I was staring through 2 different sets of eyes at the same time.

Maybe a little alcohol could help with something like relaxation when attempting to AP.  I used to drink whenever I could but for some reason after getting into AP I'm just not in the mood for drinking that much anymore.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Religious Dogma

I really can't stand those types of religious people.  They label what they personally disagree with as evil and in their minds their religion is the only right one so anything even remotely disagreeing with it must be something of the devil.

A week ago I think I was having astral vision for the first time right when I was waking up.  I saw a average sized brown spider coming right down towards my face then I got up in the physical right away and looked all over the place but couldn't find it.  I think I was seeing in the astral but I'm not sure.

Once I get better with projecting I want to carry either a sword or gun around.

I don't know if I'm going to buy the book I'll probably get astral dynamics first but the course worked good for me because after taking it I had my first obe in 3 weeks of starting it.

I still consider myself a Christian but I'm not religous anymore.  Some Christians are open-minded towards astral projection but others are convinced that it's a trick of the devil but I can't understand their reasoning behind that since there is nothing to suggest that God condemns it.  They seem to be very hostile to anything paranormal or outside blind faith it's especially the paranoid people who blame everything on satan.

My main problem is most of the time when I'm about to split I just panick and try to stop it.

I've had a few oobe's but I had little control of the but I now they were real.

1. Doing it a few times has proven life after death.
2. Knowing what it's like will help me advance more when I die cause I will be in a permanent oobe and I don't plan on reincarnating.
3. Learning.
4. Exploring, fun, meeting others.

I get it all of the time but it dosen't bother me much anymore.

That's how I had my first oobe 2 days ago.  I was trying to ap but gave up and just wanted to go to sleep but I kept on getting those sensations when i didn't want them.  Then I floated a foot above myself but all I could move was my astral left arm which I touched my face with.  Then I had to grab onto the rail of my bed to stop from floating higher and I just stared at the ceiling while trying to move, the same sensations also usually happen when I'm having sleep paralysis but it never lead to an ap before.
#193
I also get falling sensations sometimes but it it feels like i'm staying in the same place and falling at the same time but it's hard to explain.
#194
I get the brain sensation of in my head every time I try and project but I haven't been able to go anywhere with it yet.
#195
So did you focus on the sensations and vibrations or ignore them to get that far?  That's the one thing i'm never sure about I get confused if i'm suppose to be paying attention to sensations or not cause the come on really strong..

I can't ap yet but I think I'm close, I think that the thought of it would just be a little to much for some people to handle.  Once I can do it I have one friend that I'll tell it to but he would probably want to try it out cause he's into paranormal stuff and is always dragging me along all kinds of different haunted places. I have no idea what my other friends and family would think, I explained sleep paralysis to one friend and he believed me but was suprised enough that something like that exits .
