Hey Keeth
There has been alot of discussions on the boards about religion recently, much of of it like that of Neg removal's post here, I can see were they are coming from and added my own post here and there. I'd like to know how your reacting to the forums in general, are you more at ease with your own AP/obe experiences and want to learn more about it?
I would like to clarify my opinion with religion and AP/obe, I respect ppl's opinion if they wish to believe in a religion, philosophy as long as it dose not  harm, control, deceive, condemn others. I myself try and learn, live   without falling into the above mentioned traps. Spirit filled  I am, religious I'm not. Simply because for me religion is putting blinkers on and not see the environment evolving around us. The Bible but more importantly Jesus can have a profound inpact on a persons life, to what level is up to them eg: they could believe with faith alone, they could receive the Holy spirit as in the new testament or beleive in the philosophy of Jesus.In one of my post I tried to draw ppl's attention to Jesus's ego, to  my knowledge no one has thought about that and I haven't had any replys to it sadly, as I think it is a good point open for discussion and deep thought. It dosen't take anything away from the spiritual side of Jesus. but in my opinion ppl would wise not to base all their ideals/ hopes on one person or one religion or philosophy as at different times all might be wrong.


Nay "wow"    is't funny how as kids we experience this sort of thing so effortlessly. I think there is a moral to that []

I have hesitated in getting involed with this thread because I know what the reactions will be for what I'm about to post. I am a "born again  Christain" for want of a better terminology. Spirit filled as written in the new testament. I have experienced wounderful  phenomena's and studied the Bible almost obsessively. How deep or how literally can one person look into the written words of todays Bible, I have the new King James version. I agree there maybe other books contrary  to popular Christian beliefs with some merit. Here's where my opinion really freaks ppl out, we all talk of ppl's phyci and ego's I believe or ponder really that  Jesus the son of God had his too and while he was bringing ppl's awareness to God and fulfilling the scripures and everything else he was suppost to do while in the flesh he was also confronting  his own shadow ego. God is light and no shadow of turning, there is no darkness in him etc could it be that  Christ is bringing his shadow to consciousness to deal with it. "How could I think such a thing?" you scream. God has sent his 'Angel' to do some really horrible things to mankind in the past before Jesus the Christ was born, this Angel was Jesus in my opinion. There are scriptures discribing both Christ and Satan using the same wording eg 'bright morming star' is the Bible wrong, misinterpreted eg:
1 Chronicles 21:1
Now Satan stood up, and moved David to number Israel.
2 Samuel 24:1
Again the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, and He moved David against them to say, "Go number Israel and Judah".

This is written by two different prophets, about the same historical event. I dont see satan as a horned monster but a ego shadow manifestation. To highlight this Jesus said in Mark 2:26 "And if Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he cannot stand, but has an end." Isn't that what Jesus came here to do, over come the flesh, pave the way to enlightenment.I beleive the Holy Spirit is the enlightened essence of Jesus and the shadow is in all mankind as it was in Jesus. That said it is open for all to become enlightened or evolve spiritualy  if we can just stop being afraid of monsters and really think deeply about spiritual enlightenment.
Ok thats about it you all can start shouting "your nuts","blasphemy"
I'm not saying all this is set in concret but it's an over view of hidden meanings to the Bible, like a rose has many petals this is just one of those petals so to speak.Anyway if your replys convice me that I'm full of it... LoL then I'll just have the more conventional view without trying to look to deeply at the Bible.

I didn't have a religious upbringing  but at around 20yrs old had a spiritual encounter with the Holy Spirit. It was real and profound for me. The problem is for me when  man comes into the equation and adds rules and ideals acording to there interpretation of the Bible. The Church I was attending had very strict ideals on everything, obey or be dammed  kind of thing. I still believe in God and I cannot deny the spiritual experience with the Holy Spirit, it's just sad how ppl misuse, corrupt and  try to take control all in the name of God.

ok I spontaneously astral projected as a child to my school in real time I'm not sure if that should be classed as an obe.
I have awakened from sleep, in real time flying above my childhood home several times. I've had countless lucid dreams were I'd be fighting demons with a sword ( I used to think of it as the sword of truth []) in my Church days .
I became aware in a dream to astral fly in a beautiful sea side landscap (not of this world). There maybe others that I can't think of right now but anyway I went through a time that I didn't or couldn't remember AP/obe'ing. but for the last 3/4? months I've been trying techniques to regain the ability and vividness of my past experiences with great success and progess. Until  4? weeks ago (see my post on mysticweb). Well.. now I am having trouble even seeing vivid astral visions while practicing, sad because I almost always had great visual responces and astral movement every time. I still have some good practise experiences but none as good as before mysticweb. well that's it in brief and I probably left out some think important that I can't remember right now but I hope that it answers your question. Like I said earlyer there are many ppl who can help on this forum, with alot more experience than  me in the astral I'm just a novice in training I guess []

I'm not a guru or advanced spiritual being but there are many on this forum who can give sound advice. I have also asked God through Christ to take away things like lust, deception of truth etc as most people have since the Holy Spirit came to humans,eg (2 corin 12:. But we have to go through all these things...your crown chakra was probably activated by you, go with it astral project and ask in person/spirit. Signs are not recommended for wise decisions in my opinion. Search though the forums Keeth there are many good post about the spiritual side of AP/obe and none of thoughs that have made contact in the astral with higher beings/angels even Christ, none have been condemed or turned  away ashamed to even dare go there. All are welcomed and have had great experiences. Try not too worry so much life is a learning experience. Enjoy it, live life to it's fullest.

Keeth they all say that to empower them selfs, to some extent  it is true as I have been their but I learnt not to control others by my own fear . The Holy Spirit is a powerful presence but this fear of astral projection dose not come from God but ignorance. I don't want to start quoteing from the Bible but he's one, John 4:24 "God is spirit, and those who worship him  must worship in spirit and truth".
So why not obe, why not astral project. satan deceives but should that stop you from worshiping God in the astral in spirit. I for one think it should be apart of Christian  teaching to astral/obe. What a formidable astral presence one would have being full of the Holy Spirit and power instead of fighting alone in the lower astral realms because you think your not suppose to be here.
You have a gift Keeth, something this Lady should learn.

That sounds familiar. I have been "born again" with all the trimmings eg : full immersion Baptism, recieving the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, healed people with prayer etc . Funny thing is at this time of spiritual awareness  I contended with my own lucid dreams and astral projections, as it was the Churchs reasoning that it was bad. I really wish that instead of fighting my spiritual awakening   I learnt from it and explored the astral. Who knows I could have called Jesus while in the astral and learnt from him. I have missed much because of what others have said. My only excuse is I was young and naive, don't let it become your exuse for missing such a great opportunity Keeth.

I have avoided reading about neg's in general. I didn't see the point in placing unconscious fear in my way. Blocking my attemps to project and dealing with the real thing in the astral, if I do ever come across any but all my astral/obe's have been neg'contact free. I might have came close onces but I just flew away from it. My advice is to learn how to astral project befor you find ways not too.

Ok I'm sticking my neck out here a little but this did happen to me. I was riding my motor bike home from work and at a intersection a car pulled out directly in front of me. I was to close to avoid it so I applied  the brakes and lowered my head for impact. It all happened within a heart beat form seeing the car to waiting for impact. what happened next I can't explain but the car continued it's course and so did I ? it was like I went straight though it!...impossable  but it happened. ok I admitt I am slave to my emotions. I like laughing at funny things and crying when watching sad movies or the tv news even. I smile when the sun baths my face and are in aw during thunder storms. I fill for people when they recount their life good and bad and yes I do astral project sometimes, bring with me all these fillings [] and this is why I like your post Nay because you are real and not yet on a quest to become emotionaly neutral but as I think stagnate no disrespect for Frank's views and I didn't want to  highjack Timeless inspiring post. ohh so many words just to say I enjoy a good laugh.....[]

Welcome [] You will find help here I'm sure , as there are many different idea's and techniques. Vastly different from one mind set.

 i did experience one tehnique - the heart concentration exercise on week2 course - but I FELT NOTHING - usually when I try to AP i have some sensations, but now nothing... I said OK

I experienced this too but was willing to be objective about the course until the beelzebub thing. In my attemps to astral project/obe  at will, by learning different techniques from ppl here and the links they made reference to I had great experiences and made progress, that stopped with mysticweb. I can only speak for myself in stating that. But today is a new day and to help you start a fresh   here's a good link to dispel previous encounters. In answer to your question, yes.
The replies from everyone else is also insightful, I'm not given to flattery. But I can not deny
the wisdom of your posts in general. I love reading them and hope you keep writing them.
The connection between "us" as a whole is undisputable. Eg: I have never   meet any of you
who read or write the post in this forum but I look forward to switching on the computer and
seeing how everyone is going, I missed you timeless when you deleted your previous posts
and departed for a time.  I have laugh often at kakkarots annoyance with  ki ball blast. I
could go on with many other examples of how this one web site touches my life because you
are 'people' but you already know what I'm saying. We can all say how special everyone else is
here. Within our life and  beyond the front door everyone and everything becomes apart of us,
no one can debate this. The people of this world have cried together often, laughed and
questioned as one. I am not special in my own eye's but my kids love me and I do make a
difference, to other people even if it's just a smile in passing on the street. We change,
fashion  the course of peoples life's   everyday, often without knowledge of it but we should
care and most people do.

I didn't really want to start a Bible debate, it was just easyer for a base to express  "comforming" human thoughts. eg we must work on this to better ourself". As I mentioned in the other post I didn't want to go off track with your orginal post...lol I think I might have though. But it dosen't hurt to add a little spice when everyone agrees with you [] and I do  too, as for helping people yes everyday were ever I can I do. Saying that sounds silly, why is that?  Why do people think he's blowing his own horn or he's a goody to shoes...interesting!

without ego's a collective of minds etc. Is this really the ultimate enlightenment. I am not refuting your post Timeless but adding a point that I have been thinking about recently I hope it's not to far from the topic. Psalm 79:5 is a small example, God has all the emotions we have. Jesus also spent most of his time either being angry or annoyed or upset by life on earth.Genesis 3:22 God mentions "one of us". Sorry about all the references but it shows that we can be different in views, emotions even have ego's. I agree we are one, one room in an apartment block called existence. we are by divine nature islands but I agree it's good to nock on your neighbours door every now and then to help, interact etc but at the end of the day we close the door to rest in our own room. Is this so wrong to do !.
