What I wanted to ask you Frank - have you developed a kind of BIG curiousity for "the pendulum thing" ? Or am I the only one who thinks that this is the key to Everything ?

What I mean is do you find "the pendulum" more important then Astral Travel ?  - because I have kind of "put aside" the AP exercises recently (thinking that "the pendulum" is more important)..

PS: I wanted to ask MAYATNIK something too.. but i saw that he answears more on the other topic (that`s the best way) and I shall post my questions there.. (after i finish reading all that has been said)..

Quite interesting - tonight all the things i was questioning seemed to link each other - and this with the help of our (astral pulse members) friend MAYATNIK - thanks again MAYATNIK.

Until this day (or yesterday it`s 1:25 PM right now) i was reading topics only from <<Out of Body and Astral Experiences>> forums.. But yesterday i just kinda` want to see more of this site`s forum (i`m a regular user of this site for a month or two - and studying AP for about several years - but not so active until 2 months now) and I found <<Astral Consciousness>> - and it was impossible to miss the 13 pages topic "AND THE TRUTH SHALL BE KNOWN - You'll see !" - i read some posts and after that (i thought it was nothing interesting - i was just scrolling ) I went back to the <<Astral Consciousness>> page and i saw something that OPENED my mind and eyes !!! I saw Franks topic "Question for Mayatnik" and it seemed impossible to me ! Why you might ask.. well because Frank is a more spiritual advanced person in my eyes (and in every newbie eyes i guess) and usually he answeared topics like "Question for Frank" and now he was posting a topic "Question for Mayatnik - by Frank" !!! Then I said in my mind: "This MAYATNIK fellow must KNOW SOMETHING" So I began reading (i still have to read "AND THE TRUTH SHALL BE KNOWN - You'll see !" topic) Anyways thank you Frank for all your help..

I haven`t tried the technique yet but i certainly will !

Another thing I would like to mention is while reading "Question for Mayatnik" i realised i made progress in my attempt to AP - i got to partial paralysis - until now i thought i slept on my hand or something )

And my question is this: What Does AP has to do with EVERYTHING (with the universal truth and all) ?? I mean is it a waste of time ? Or is it another method ?

This is all - i won`t ask other questions although i have a LOT of them - but as you said MAYATNIK I`ll discover the truth myself (hope i`ll be able to do it soon) for the sake of the journey

your post really helped me.. because it`s really hard to understand what`s happening - i mean i`m not trying to move my hand - it just slips - like there`s no gravity (lol)..


One day i thought that maybe there`s a guide trying to help me - so before GOING TO SLEEP i would ask help  from the guides but the same thing happend


I tell this again: the hand falling happends to me when I TRY TO GET SOME SLEEP not when i try to AP - when i try to AP i come across this DEEP BREATH )

GOD... I NEED THAT BOOK !!!

I dislike the idea that the future may be 'already there..waiting..' just WAITING for us to pass over it,because where does that leave freewill? See Do we have free will? If the future is not already there, then what about the theory of relativity ?

How much flexibility it allows if we have free will for the future I don't know, but I can only hope time allows us a free choice of actions.

I think all this methods have a common denominator: they all require to be concentrating on something.. not letting your mind to wonder.. It doesn`t matter if you climb a rope, walk with your astral feet or or just floating in the air.. everyone can use the method that works best for him.

So in my opinion it`s not the method that counts, but the state of mind...

6 months - good
i`ve been trying for 2 months now - and nothing - well i feel something - like a part of my body starts to do a single spasmatic move - (i want to record myself with a webcam to see if i actually move in astral)

Thanks for all the answears - I already have Robert Peterson`s book - and until 3 days I thought it was Robert Bruce`s book and i was quite happy it was free - but no damage done - R.Bruce has to make a living
Well i was wondering - is there anywhere for sale an electronic copy of the book - i mean it would be better if I would have it as a *.pdf (PS: not for copying intentions - you have my word )

And I was thinking about something else - is there a connection betwen Robert and Astral Projection ? (think about it: ROBERT A. Monroe, ROBERT Peterson, ROBERT Bruce)

The reason for this topic was not only to initiate me - i thought it would be usefull to know what technique is using everybody..

I wonder if someone would do "it" with a air elemental would ever have an orgasm - i mean the elemental would blow and blow and blow but he(tantric happy person) will never get an orgasm ))) LOL ROTFL

For a better experience here is what i think you should do:(experience elemental sex with two elementals: air and water)
You should wait for a storm - the bigger the better - this could take a while - if you see some signs - get outside and wait for the wind to start (air elemental) after that take off your pants (don`t worry about people seeing you - they do this all the time) and you know.. do what you usually do - don`t worry avout the water elemental this time - she(it) should be more gentle - and don`t worry about not having liquid (usually the water elemental swalows it)... )))) LOOOOOOOOOOL

I tried the rope method too - i got distracted by the "how should one climb a rope" i never climbed a rope so I don`t know how does it feels like.. Then I said "maybe it`s the same thing if i imagine climbing a ladder" - but still nothing ! I climb and climb and it gets really boring after 1 hour or maybe even more - and get this frustration - what am i doing wrong ?! i`m a beginner - maybe I should use a more easy to use method - a method with focus instead of concentration - because I can`t viusalise - i get distracted - i feel aware but i can`t concentrate.
I never felt the vibrations, i never felt anything out of the order - I tried different methodes of waking up in dreams - none worked

Thanks for the response - i was reall y waiting an answear to my question - i will try the rope tehnique - si i shoud imagine a rope in front of my eyes and me trying to climb it ? or i should imagine climbing the rope through the eyes of the one who`s climbing - a little more details please
