  I will report back. I just hope that some of the people curious about magic take an opportunity to check it out. I have found that sooner or later a student needs to join a school or organization to balance their knowledge out. It also helps with cammaraderie and new ideas.
  I was really happy to see the school listings and also group listings. Magic is manipulating the forces and energies. Most Magicians are mystics. It makes it so all the rest of the methods make sense to you when you study properly.
  The Kybalion is a really good book for this also. Every magical system uses these principles. They even rephrase them in a lot of ways where you can see the divergence of ideas that work around the world.

  The person who does the magic has an intent on what they are going to do. The intent to the magic makes it where it is negative or positive. It is true whether you affect others or not. Forcing magic upon someone without their permission makes it negative also. Healing spells or anything else to help others needs the person's permission to work properly.
  Trying to harm someone has long reaching consequences. The magicians that do it just do not see what it does to their energetic system. Magical attack methods also are harmful to others whether they are hurting you or not. The worse part is that they can be reversed so by the end of the battle the person you are trying to kill is yourself.
   Magic is transforming yourself so you are closer to God. It is not about more power and who you can kick the brains out of to win a battle. You get back what you put into it. It is why it is important to try to study all methods and understand things. I don't care for certain teachers or styles either but that is because it is not for me.
  Crowley does leave traps in his works for unwary students who do not study properly. I also do not like his enochian system because you can not control what you get when you use it. It is to chaotic for me. I want to get the proper energies I can use.

  You are correct that I was on the island and yes there is a cabana like something from Gilligans Island. It is a modification that was made by me so I had somewhere to sit. I am about 5ft 5 inches tall and I do have dark hair.

  You need to draw the runes or symbols upon them. You energize them and see what color the energy becomes. You can then sing a note or song to aid yourself. I normally just feel where the vibration for the color is at energetically and just do it. You could also do the meditation for OM and vibrate it into the stones.
  You can only do things at the level that you are at in your development of psychic energies. A heartfelt prayer for protection of your home and loved ones will work just as well in most cases.

  I have never heard of a school. You normally join a group in witchcraft and they help you. I know that some of them around Ohio are really large and do have classes to teach students. I do not know which ones are best.
  The meeting of the Hermetic Fratenity will also have classes for study so it could be considered going to a school for a week class.

I know that people have to visit the inside for it to be more set. The experience depends upon the person. I did not make them to speak in english but so everyone could understand them.

  I know there will be online videos for the members on the website. It is to make it accessible for the people who can not attend. I do not know about anyone else.
  It is not a Mason organization but uses the books of Franz Bardon to teach others. I have studeied many systems and this is the most organized and well thought out system for learning ritual or ceremonial magic. The exercises in the book Initiation into Hermetics help people to develop their abilities.
  The conference is being held for a very reasonable price in a convent that has been rebuilt into the hotel. It is older than the country of Portugal. I am really looking forward to this. I saw that Tisha had posted a magical group and I thought this would be an opportunity for everyone.

  Adrian asked me to add some astral enhancements to the locale. He mentioned also that someone had been leaving signs around. I saw one that said this way to the pyramid. I also saw another one that said fish.
  I added a doorway to the pyramid. I also added guides inside of the pyramid. They are depending upon what you want to see a egyptian female that looks like a tomb painting, an egyptian male that looks like a tomb painting. A representation of Anubis being the teacher about egyptian science and instructing everyone. I do have the mummy waundering around trying to wrap up his bandages and saying Hello to everyone who visits his tomb.
  I had not read the comments on this subject for a while. I just told Adrian I had made enhancements. Torches will flare up once you get inside of the pyramid.

  A good book that explains magical alphabets is Magical Alphabets by Nigel Pennick ISBN 0-87728-747-3 It gives basic history and the numerical values. It also describes a lot of different alphabets including the one we are typing with at the moment.
  It was used for predictions by Nostradamus, and the Sibellyine oracles. It is a fascinating subject and there is no accepting just one set of books or standards. Everyone should find out which one suits them as Tisha suggested.

  I think James and Adrian put it properly. Religions can be discussed in the new forum. James has it correct on what Allanon does to other memberts. Enderwiggin if he does have a new name then he is again proving what James is talking about in his message. A total and complete lack of feeling for anyone or anything but his own views.
  It comes down to the agendas I am mentioning. You yourself noted that these forums are for discussion and sharing views. Yet we are getting people with their own agendas causing problems. Why do they feel they have the right to do this to others?
  They do not care what others think they are correct. No one elses views matter. They are on a mission or want to accomplish something on these forums. They also do not identify us as people with concerns but in some group enmasse that is classified by sinners, etc.
  How did Hitler get everyone to go along with murdering the jews, gypsies and catholics in concentration camps? Jews were classed as a group of people not Richard my friend down the street. Gypsies were classed as a group. Catholics were classed as a group. Does anyone really want people classifying them as a group. I don't.
  I come here to enjoy the posts not to hear people trying to force others into their views. People like that live in their own realities and have real problems.

  I agree about the fact that you just don't need to read the topics that upset you. The problem is that some people when they do not receive a bunch of attention on their topics post all over.
  Again I agree that you can just ignore those topics. The problem is when a poster makes posts so often that it is hard to carry on a decent discussion. People react and then you have problems. I am not bashing or being upset at anyone. I don't enjoy seeing it either.
  I think that a lot of the posters that have agendas about trying to control topics and affect others that make it where these decisions are happening. I know it is not because any of the moderators or anyone else liking it done. It is not an easy job trying to head off the very arguments that you are mentioning here.
  I really enjoyed comparative religions in school. I have been around muslims at the gym I go too. I have also read the Rumi and the Koran. I just think it is a shame that so many people are attached to the dogma in religions instead of the spirituality that everyone could enjoy hearing about.

  I have a few things to say after reading all of these posts. Shadowdancer you are way off and I would be willing to bet that you were not a member of a occult or magical cult. The moonies are a different subject matter than what we have here.
  Next every attack is an experience that is as real as anything that happens to a person doing anything else. We all want to compartmentalize things in such a way that we don't get scared. It includes scoffing at victims of something that is just not understandable by regular life. It does not make it any less real. It just makes the person feel better who can make the victim feel worse. It really works with the rape analogy that you used. It scares people so they try to say the victim caused it in some way. No one wants to believe that there are perverted people that just rape and destroy someone because they want to do it. It does not mean that you know them or did anything that could be misconstrued as wrong. It means that the person was in the wrong place at the wrong time when a predator that should not exist tried to victimize her or him.
  It is the same thing in a psychic attack. The person has energetic openings where the wrong creature that is a predator can cause problems. They accept responsibility for their actions and do nothing wrong. They just get noticed. They then have to overcome what is going on which is not only a person helping them. They also have to work upon themselves at the same time to make any headway against the problems.
  The reason for this is you can banish and remove the problem but you have to close all of the energetic entry ways that it found or another one can take its place. It is time consuming and there is no quick fix and waving of a magic wand and all of their problems are gone. Sometimes there is just no explanation of why it happened just that it did happen. No one is to blame in that or in any rape or any other incident that you can mention.
  I myself suffered from being in what would be classified as a magical cult for 12 years. It is why I help others to this day. It is not easy or quick to overcome but I learned my lessons and I believed this happened where I could help others.
  It does not mean that I have not had psychology. You sound like a Narcissist Personality Disorder Shadowdancer. It does not mean that I didn't learn magic because I had to learn it to overcome what had been done to me. It does not mean I did anything evil besides want to learn how to help others.

There is no ban upon Christians here or their viewpoints. I ask you how many buddhists, muslims, or Hindus do you see claiming that people are attacked by devils and are going to Hell. I would like one example from these forums of this. I know it is called by different names in different religions so in their own terms.
I enjoy Christianity and am reading a book on angels right now. It is called the Big Book of Angels by Beliefnet editors. It is fascinating. It is a lot different than being made to think like someone else and forced to follow their view of life or you are evil.

  I had a typo there. I am now studying hermetic magic. I call it studying because I do not know of a single person that will be able to learn all of it.
   Low magic and high magic will start in different places but they use the same prinicples. They both get results. It is just the energies that are used that are different.

  Goingslow mentioned that he would like to hear about someones experiences. I can sympathize with this as when I started out I did not know the differences and none of the books explained them to me either.
  I hopefully can list off enough things to make everyone think. I started out at 18 moving to LA. I had always been clairvoyant since I was a child. I just learned that to see those things got me baptized and yelled at by my parents so I just did not talk about what I saw.
  I had a Rosicrucian for the top orders spot me while my Dad was ill in the hospital. He gave me a magazine that my Mother took away and both my parents yelled at him over it. I had been hypnotized for a class project on reincarnation and had told him about it and what I remembered. It was because he had told me stratight out that I was psychic and talked to me earlier. The couple who had hypnotized me worked for Duke University and were collecting data on pyschic talents. I was considered a highly function precognitive clairvoyant.
  I left home because of my over controlling Mother. I moved to LA and had someone at work invite me to dinner. Her husband had spotted me as being clairvoyant. She was into Earth Magic, and he was into Ceremonial magic. I studied both of them and they both work really well but they use different methods to apply the forces.
  I suggest to everyone that they round off their Ceremonial magic talents with some sort of nature or Earth magic. I then started doing exorcisms, and had to study all types of methods because of what people did to each other.
  I have studied Crowley's works and I do not care for them. Enochian magic may sound good but you can not control the results. I have used it twice and it is like some massive non-human force decides for you what you want and it does not interpret the human mind correctly when it does so.
  I am not studying Hermetic magic. Anyone interested in this and all the different groups and people that helped develop the Western Magical Tradition should type in Western Magical Tradition and see what comes up on Google. It will give you an excellent background for what you might be interested in studying.
  I use intuitive magic alot and a lot of astral magic where I do ceremonies and bring the effects into this world. The Kybalion has the rules for how this is done and why it works.
  I have spent most of my magical career removing things that have been harming others. I admit I have a more cynical view towards a lot of the New Age practices. I suggest to everyone to be very careful of their choices and what they say. I try not to make a lot of judgements unless I can see that people are getting hurt or being harmed. I hope that everyone else figures maybe that is the way for the people to learn even when they think it is the wrong choices.
  My first group tried to trap me in a pact and place all of their bad karma upon me. It has not been easy for me to learn. They acted a lot like another group I talked out against recently. Be careful in what you study and do what you feel if correct for yourself.

  I have astral projected into a black hole. It spins around and there are two forms of spinning you can chose one energy goes out the other end. The other goes back the way that you entered. You can access parts of your future and other realities when the energy connects to different parts of the black hole.
  You never try to touch a black holes inside energy or it spits you out through the sides of the hole and you have to find your way back. It can be difficult as you are in alternate realities, universes and different times when you do that. It is interesting but it can also be dangerous.
  It does have benefits because it seems to open up inner connections and abilities that a person may have ignored.

  I believe that you can get upset and send energy or receive energy from any forms of communication. The reason for this is we have a tendancy to link with the writer of a message or with someone on the telephone.
  It can be also true of positive energy such as when someone wants to help you or cares about you. I suggest just not writing an answer until you calm down. It makes it easier on everyone.
  I also like sacred symbols or little statues on top of the computer desk or tower.

  Adrians true colors have been shown for quite a while. He is the person who makes the forums work properly. He also reads all of the topics and has the rough job of the final decisions upon threads and peoples actions. He puts his duties first over any personal feelings or this thread would not be up here.
  I have to say I have never dealt with a nicer person who really cares about this website and the people who come to it. We all get to discuss things and give our opinions because of his work. Even when we disagree. People will get out of line when they are really upset over things which makes it where some people have to be removed. It is always a last resort. We should all be tolerant of peoples beliefs because we are the person who makes the choice in how we act. We do not need to read the thread or we can post our opinion whether it agrees or not if we do it in a normal fashion. We are lucky to have this website and its forums.

  This forum has always been open and non-judgemental to everyone. Lately there has been a disturbing trend. I have been wondering if maybe it is not time to add a few new rules. I have suggested it but the main thing I hate to see about doing this is it removes some of the freedom of this forum.
  I have read some topics and while some of them may not be what I would want to do. They still do not hurt people and do not call for a judgement from me on whether or not I believe them. Many sects of different religions and organizations have been called cults. I personally don't care if someone worships their big toe as long as they do not harm anyone doing it.
  It again comes down to free choice and thinking before you do things. The same advice I always give if you feel there is something that is required that you do not want to do. Don't do it. Do not let anyone assign guides, angels or anything for you unless you want to try that method. You yourself will make the choice of what you do and go through in life.

My favorite book on the runes is Esoteric Rune Magic by D. Jason Cooper. It is out of print but you might be able to find a copy of it. They have a lot of rune books upon amazon.com also
The runes are drawn upon objects, or used for diviniation. You can burn a rune script or save it and have it for protection. It is good on necklaces and they have bind runes which is a combination of influences.
I like to put them on windows, doors and even on the car in a place where no one will find them.
  You need a good book to tell you all of the uses because there is not enough room here.

I know of a healer that does work on cancer patients and gotten results. He lives in Oregon. I don't remember his website. I will look it up and post it later.
  There is an old way of drawing illness into an egg named after the person who is ill. You baptize it with the person's name and ask that all illness and negativity be drawn into it. It will at least ease her pain. I will try to get the website for you.
