I do it all the time. If you're well rested so that you don't doze off, then you can do any kind of energy manipulation you want while laying down.

I have a little suggestion for helping you with this. Go out of your way to sit down and talk to them, one on one, as often as possible. Try to steer the conversation into what's happening in their lives.

If they make a snide comment about you, your friends, etc. just listen and don't react. Just tell yourself, "OK, I listened to what he/she said". Maybe acknowledge the statement with, "Yeah, I see your point of view". Don't let it get emotional.

My point in this is that often, teens hide out in their bedrooms or out with friends and don't interact much with their parents. And if someone is "gone" it's a lot easier to think the worst instead of objectively. Making yourself "present" can dissolve this problem.

I've been doing it every day for about 4 months. Based on the benefits that I've realized, I plan on doing it the rest of my life.

Doing it just once, you can't possibly understand how it can help you. You owe it to yourself to try doing it every day for a month or so. The effects are cumulative and at least some of the benefits may be permanent.

Read the tutorial (and thank God for the generosity and work ethic of Robert Bruce) to find out what it can do for you long term.

Well, if you really need to hear something....

When I was about 15 or so, I got really interested in playing with TK. I didn't know anything about psi wheels, so I mostly played with dice and flipping coins. I practiced flipping a silver dollar up into the air at least 3-4 feet and then catching it in my hand. My object was to make it come up "heads" as many times in a row as possible. After a few days I got so that I could make it come up heads 13 times in a row many times. I could never get past 13 but I got to 13 quite a few times.

During this time, I would sometimes play "Yahtzee" with my siblings and found that my practice with the coin allowed me to control the dice better than usual. I remember rolling 5 of a kind (Yahtzee!!) 5 times in one game, and often getting 2-3 of them.

Both of these experiences pretty much proved the thing to me. I got tired of it and have never really pursued it again. I would say that I use similar powers now though to do useful things like fix computers (just by touching them) and stuff like that. But I've never treated it like a game since then. I'm 44 years old now. Really old...

Hey taom1234,

I've read that book myself, and I've used that decree also--for about 20 years. It's very powerful.

It's never caused me to AP though. I'm just practicing my spiritual exercises and trying to help others. I want to learn to travel consciously outside my body. I figure that God will turn it on when He has a need for me to do it. Or something...

I'm having fun regardless.[;)]

My favorite little recharge is the mantra:

I AM THAT I AM

which helps me realize my oneness with and reconnect to my higher self, the I AM Presence. I've said it in meditation so many thousands of times that when I do it now, my heart starts to burn and expand from the extra light energy I get. And my consciousness soars....

I'd say that this would be a great way to ward off psychic attacks too. If a person could hold in his mind the visualization in those pix that I linked to in my previous post, and say with deep conviction "I AM THAT I AM" over and over, I bet most spooks would flee in terror. They just can't stand this intensity of light. Of course it helps if you practice before you really need it in an emergency so that you have a momentum built up.

A long, long time ago, when I was only about 14 or so, I decided to investigate that stuff. I practiced flipping a coin with the intent of making it come up heads or tails many times in a row. After a few weeks I got so that I could pretty reliably do 13 times in a row, but never more. Talk about a head case....

I think 13 times in a row is a pretty wide disparity from randomness though. During that time I would play Yahtzee with my siblings and really tinkle them off by getting a half dozen Yahtzee's (all 5 dice the same) within one game.

After a while you realize that there are useful things to spend your time on. I'd rather make some good karma by helping someone in need.

I think I know what you're talking about, Mick. I have a number of talents which I've carried over from past lives and between lives. But what you describe is not something I'm schooled at.

BUT---I have watched many times while angels did what you are describing for myself or others who who have been spiritually "mugged and raped" or whose auras are just torn up by emotional upheavals, drug use, etc. Usually only in answer to prayer, angels come and repair torn up auras or chakras or other delicate details of a persons spiritual bodies. I have watched them smooth, dissolve, mend, rebuild, realign, cleanse and a host of other activities for those in need.

I have known some people in my life who have some knowledge of this stuff. My wife has what I call a "magical touch". She seems to sense troubled areas in or on a persons body and "fixes" things by stroking that area with her hands.

The part of the little exercise that I mentioned above which probably shouldn't be overlooked is that of using NEW for a kind of bootstrapping up to where one can access much higher quantities of a different and more intense energy. The energy which we partake of as prana, chi, or whatever you want to call it, is different from the Light Energy which comes directly from the Divine Monad or I AM Presense. I see them as a polarity, the light descending  from the Father (I AM Presence, the physical sun, etc.) being Masculine in polarity. The prana we take into us in many forms is like the return current or the Feminine polarity. Another, more potent form of this Feminine aspect is Kundalini.

Anyway, for serious spiritual work, like kicking out spooks or influencing crowds of people towards a more uplifting attitude, etc. I have to tap into the source from above, the I AM Presence. It forms something like a cross--the energy descends in a vertical axis into my heart chakra. Then, from there it goes out (horizontally) through my chakras to do spiritual work in the world of form. I think many of you have heard of this and probably seen one or more of the following pix:

http://www.prismgraphicdesign.com/presence.jpg

These are paintings made by or at the direction of spiritually gifted, clairvoyant people who could see far higher into planes above the astral, mental, etheric and even causal planes; and this, they say is what all of us look like, in a sense. Of course time and space are "not", when dealing with regions of such high vibratory rates, so these pictures are best looked at as metaphorical representations. Imagine yourself as the lower figure in each picture.

I find that when I gaze at them and try to feel the connection represented in these pictures, I tie into an enormous power which is the real and highest "ME". And after doing this for over two decades, I now have such a momentum that I can see and feel that blazing sun of Light Energy above me whenever I shift my spiritual gaze up. But I have to be the first to admit that it is through adoption and mastery of the Feminine aspect; NEW practices and Kundalini for intance, that this is made possible. So these are the first steps in this climb upward. That's not to say that anyone can't meditate on these pictures and begin building a stronger relationship with the Presence above though. I'd highly recommend it to anyone.

Have any of you folks ever seen these pix before?

Sometimes I experience things like you are describing. It's a symptom of what's in your world--in a larger sense of the word. Or rather (maybe) what plane of consciousness you're walking through. Remember the phrase "the valley of the shadow of death" from the Psalms. It's a place in consciousness.

But you can lift yourself into a higher plane of vibration by what you put your attention on. I get a heck of a lot of mileage out of just praying to God or talking to beings like Archangel Michael or Mother Mary. If you just ask for what you need, you will receive. It takes time and a sort of relentlessness until you gain a momentum at this so don't give up too easily.

How could you lose with a simple, "Mother Mary, please help me to be free of these disturbing visions and remove any malicious beings from my world"? Just say it as though She is standing right there with you, and say it with gratitude and hope. It doesn't take anything complicated.

I'm the kind of sensitive person who is always trying to give to others and emit light. And, as many people here know, this type of person is really an entity magnet--an idiot with a big red target on his back. So periodically, perhaps every couple of weeks, I get tired of the subtle thoughts and desires which emanate from these pesky hitchhikers, and I lower the boom.

I start by raising Light up to my heart, brow and crown chakras and generally charging myself up with NEW-like activities. After about 10 minutes I've become a lot more clairvoyant and adroit in my ability to manipulate energy in and outside of my body. Then I concentrate on my heart chakra and the connection there to my I AM Presense, or Higher Self. I find that with intense adoration and attention on this Presence, I can attract a far greater than normal stream of life energy down the cord that connects me to this blazing Light. I pull and pull until my chest cavity is like a miniature sun of energy and I set my will or intent towards a continuing of this torrent of energy until the finish of what I do next.

At this point I'm pretty aware of whatever density or foreign entities which remain in or near me and I set the energy in my chest cavity to spinning along the axis of my body and I enlarge it to a diameter of about 6-10 feet. I also raise the frequency of the energy into whatever color and level of intensity I think will work the best--in this case I'm out to scare off or completely dissolve any entities/hitchhikers and also any lingering knots of pain or other emotional substance which is less than pure love and light within my aura. Then I just continue to intensify the rotational speed (which lends a kind of chopping/blending/atomizing action to things) and the intensity of light energy until I can plainly see and feel that there is nothing left in or near me which resists this light. One color I get a lot of mileage out of is a rose pink with an intense, blinding white core.

This is where I came up with my forum signature--I look like Johnny Storm, the Human Torch at this point in my meditation (any of you old geezers remember the Fantastic Four?)

This all takes about 20-40 minutes and at the end of it I find silence inside--no voices or thoughts which are not my own. Plus, I'm just walking on a cloud all day after that. I love everyone and everything's just ok. I've done this exercise fairly often for about 20 years.

I call it "weeding my garden".[:)]

Uuuummmm, could we all just be nice?

Please?

I'd say that one way astral beings project into the physical is by clinging to or injecting themselves into the body of someone in embodiment. To the degree that they can modulate their energy/consciousness to blend with that of their host, they can experience something of what it feels like to live and move around in these dense and rather intense bodies we have. Sometimes they influence or even dominate their host briefly in order to really get a thrill.

As far as materializing a physical body of their own, I guess it's not impossible. But it takes a lot of energy which they aren't necessarily very well equipped to gather, store and use. Kind of like me trying to materialize a car when I need to go somewhere. I'd elect to just hitch a ride instead...I think conservation of energy applies in all planes of consciousness.

That's a pretty cryptic statement...I can't say that I really understand what you're saying.

But I'm interested in the fact that you refer to multiple layers of Kundalini. I happen to think of it that way myself, having awakened some of the outer layers myself. And it's a little rare to hear others write about this aspect.

Most people consider the final, inner layer to be the "real thing" but I for one am not too concerned about rushing into the big kahuna, having gotten a lot of mileage out of what I've managed to master so far.

I can't resist giving my opinion---[}:)]

I don't have any real hangups about sex, masturbation or orgasms, but I do perceive the issue as one of energy and economy and accountability.

I believe that the energy released during an orgasm is the same energy we use all day every day to get work done--to create. It's the energy of creation. And not just creating babies, but all the child-creations which we make with our hands and our minds.

From my standpoint, it appears that the days alotment of this energy is not exactly limitless. And so we have free will to use as we wish. But I also believe in the old Hermetic axiom, "As above, so below", and so using this metaphore, I as a father would get a little peeved if my son regularly took his allowance and just burned the money or threw it in the garbage instead of doing something really useful or creative with it. In other words I believe that there are probably some negative karmic consequences to wasting energy.

As to whether or not it is necessary to masturbate to reduce pressure in the lower chakras or because it will happen in ones sleep if not manually, well I've seen evidence to the contrary. It's not for everyone, I realize. But I spent about 5 years during my late twenties and early thirties single, and between marriages. And because I was on a spiritual path and wanted to use my energy wisely, I purposely raised the energy which would otherwise pool and collect in the lower (sex) chakra and build up pressure, into my crown and third eye chakras. I did this every day during meditation.

During this time, I had more energy, spiritual insights and intellectual advancement than at any other time in my life. I was completely celibate and practically never emitted during sleep; maybe a couple of times per year. And the funny thing is that I didn't even think about sex either. I was just kind of reaching up for God all day. But I got a lot of work done too.

Like I said, this is not for everyone. And I'm happily married again now (and not celibate...heh) so I'm not even doing this myself right now. But I do feel that the popular belief that adults *REQUIRE* either sex or masturbation is simply not true.

Kind of hard to win, you know.

From the occult point of view the answer to this one is just a matter of frequency of vibration. Energy has a very high frequency of vibration while matter is condensed or "slowed down" energy.

Don't give up dude!!! It took me about a year of daily practice until I got to where I could shift the flow to whatever chakra I wished and to hold it there.

I would also recommend reading about and practicing the New Energy Ways (NEW) technique which is freely available on this site. One of the distinguishing characteristics of it is the employment of tactile awareness instead of viualization. This would be very good for you to learn in my opinion. You are probably naturally inclined towards being visual which may be contributing to your body's overemphasis of energy flow to the third eye chakra. Tactile awareness doesn't involve visualization which may be a key to helping you get yourself balanced out. Energy flows to where we put our attention. But it can be hard to shift that attention if you are very habituated to living in your head and surveying the world from there.

So when you pushed your fingertips into your sternum (a type of tactile awareness focusing) and concentrated your awareness on the heart chakra did you feel a burning, swelling sensation? Or anything? How long did you try it?

Yes, Kundalini has been know to, almost with a mind of it's own, move to where there are blockages or density and systematically burn away the dross material. Some people might say that you should just sit back and let it happen because nature knows best. But I would argue that if you have had ongoing pain for months in your head, that it's probably not going to interfer with Mother Nature that much to ground yourself and let the process proceed at a somewhat more moderate pace. I'm curious as to what others might think of this.

The woman said to "ground my spine".  I do not remember how she said to do it, so if someone knows could you tell me?

Even if I do divert this excess energy what will prevent it from surging back up when I meditate again?  Do I have to balance my energy system or something?

You're actually quite right about the Kundalini and most people being foolish for wanting it. Most people don't have the mental discipline or the moral strength to handle it. I personally believe that premature Kundalini awakenings account for a certain percentage of the cases of psychosis and similar problems in the mental wards around the world.

Do some Googling of the words "Kundalini" and educate yourself. Especially read about the various methods of grounding the energy. I've heard of visualizations, hands and feet in buckets of ice water, and lots of other stuff which I'm not an expert at because the method I mentioned in my previous post works for me. Try some stuff. But it's probably best not to meditate until you get a better conscious control of the energy. Try to get to where you feel that you can turn it on and off. Read other peoples accounts of their experiences with it.

I think you'll be ok.

I've gotten myself into situations like this before also. You get energy flowing into a chakra which makes it spin and glow. And the energizing causes a physical sensation at the location of the chakra which makes it difficult to remove your attention from the location. Which, unfortunately, causes the energy to continue to flow there--catch 22. But it's never gone on for weeks in my case. At most, several days. And it's usually the brow chakra with me also.

Have you tried to divert the energy to another chakra? That's what I'd do. Press your four finger tips of one hand into your sternum in order to create a definite physical sensation. Center your attention on that chakra and try to "forget" the sensation in your brow chakra. Keep your attention on the heart chakra and soon the energy will flow there and create a burning sensation there. If your attention starts to wander up to your forehead again, gently but firmly move it back down to the heart chakra area and feel "yourself" exist there (in the heart chakra) instead of the essential "you" being located in the brow and beholding the action of redirecting things into the heart. You want to move "you" into your heart chakra and stay there for a while.

I hope this makes sense--what's probably happening is that "you" (your soul, or something like that...) is actually centered in your brow chakra. And since your consciousness is centered there, you are magnetizing the Kundalini to that chakra in a small way continuously. And since it's causing you pain, you've got to shut it down. I've found personally that if I move my attention to my heart chakra and leave it there long enough, the flow of energy up my spine will be diverted there. And it usually subsides into dormancy automatically more readily from the heart than it does from the third eye chakra. I don't know why. Be sure though that when you do this it's not your third eye looking at your heart chakra--otherwise the energy will just keep flowing to the third eye. Try to feel yourself as a little guy inside your heart chakra. I know this sounds a little silly. But I'm speaking from experience.

You'll get over this. But you've got to teach yourself how to consciously control the flow of this energy in your spine. For now, you've got to get it away from your forhead though.

Sheesh....I can hardly imagine what it feels like after 7 weeks.[:O]

I think it might depend somewhat on what ciruits you're working on.

If you're working only on the secondary energy circuit (good to start with) in order to clear pathway blockages and simply gather more energy for yourself, then I think you may be a little less likely to encounter funny stuff such as you mention. But if you're working to clear and stimulate the primary circuit (spine and major chakras) then you may be a little more likely to have some strange or stressful encounters.

I think we do carry conditions and records from the past within our chakras to some extent which can be vitalized and experienced again when you apply pure energy to them such as NEW does.

I've done a lot of energy work over the years which is more difficult and dangerous than NEW. My opinion, after using NEW for several months, is that it's a gentle, safe (GREAT) tool on this path. If you follow the instructions and give it a little rest whenever you feel stressed by it, then you have little to worry about.

Just get used to thinking in terms of "I'm going to be using this every day and continuing to get better at it each month for years to come". In other words, don't try to combust in the first week....be nice to yourself.

Geeze kid....those are movies, not reality.

There aren't any "Jasons" or "Freddys" in the universe because if any soul gets close to that much overt carnage and evil their destructivity comes back to roost and implodes on them. There are some who manage to dodge their karma for a while by influencing others to do their dirty work instead of doing it directly. But excrement eventually always [ALWAYS] flies back into the face of the shoveler.

You cannot escape it--if  you dish out pain and misfortune to others, it will happen to you as well. It's not punishment (exactly...), rather, it's a learning mechanism. You reap what you sow in order to learn how to live a life underscored by integration (love) instead of disintegration (hate). It's quite poetic.

According to the laws of karma, all energy you send out eventually comes back to you, and multiplied.

I wouldn't be sending out angry or harmful thoughts to others if I were you. It sounds as though you have some momentum on doing this from past lives. Try to use it for good only.

I have known some people who have a similar ability and used it for many years to manipulate and harm others. It's a scary conclusion for them. Another word for it is black magic and the karma of harming others through black magic is pretty intense and long lasting.

Try to use it to make others feel good about themselves or try seeing them as very healthy and successful. Remember....it all comes back to you multiplied. [:P]
