Anyway, I also had something else going on this morning. I woke up (I think) and realized I couldn't move (I think I also wasn't 100% awake, as I later started pray evil stuffs). My head was pointing towards my GF who was laying next to me, I tried to move my mouth and talk, but it didn't work well, I tried to then just scream but no much sound came out from me.
I felt that I could break loose this paralysis if I just relaxed, it felt like it started to fade.
....
I have no idea if this really was a dream or if it really been a sleep paralysis?
That is a philosophical question, deserving a philosophical answer.
What is a dream? What is physical reality? Are there any real differences? Are both perceptual constructs?
Many civilisations describe life being a dream, 'Maya' an illusion.
* The Australian Aboriginal people believe in 'Dream-Time Creation'
* Hindu God 'Brahma' dreamed up the creation of the universe
There is currently an evolutionary move where the understanding between Science & Spirutulism are complementary.
Quantum Physics is proposing the theory of Holographic 'dreaming' multiverses upon discovering that there is no solid stuff
and no real separation between anything in physical reality (Double-Slit Experiment - Observer chooses the outcome).
Plant Primary Perceptions (Cleve Backster), Water Crystals and consciousness (Dr Masaru Emoto),
Epigenetics - Biology of Beliefs & energy healing (Bruce Lipton)
and more areas are supporting the discovery that 'ALL IS ENERGY. ALL IS CONSCIOUSNESS.'
The Movies: The Matrix Trilogy
superbly demonstrates the idea of reality being a dream embedded within a dream.
Here is my interpretation of 'The Matrix': http://thecrowhouse.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7637

Sleep Paralysis -> OOBE
You are describing what Robert Monroe called 'The Body Asleep and Mind Awake State'.
I too have experienced the same thing you described, but I was very awake and aware. It is like your consciousness is no longer focused on animating the body.
From here you can easily get out of your body to achieve out of body experiences (OOBE).
This has worked for me: Calm yourself, have no fear, feel a strong desire to move out of your body, and visualise a 'light copy of your body' (astral body) rising out/ rolling out, and simply allow it.
Robert Monroe realised late in his life that what he called OOBEs was by means of Phasing to experience your subjective reality.
Frank Kepple later simplified Robert Monroe's definition of Phasing and the Wider Reality Model.
Connecting with dead people in the Astral Plane
No-one ever ceases to be, people who have passed on are experiencing another plane, another virtual reality;
we as spiritual beings (consciousness-energy beings) are eternal and exist as a consciousness continuum.
An analogy, you were able to connect with your dead neighbour on another Universal TV channel.
While doing so your attention was away from the Earth 2012 channel and thus could not animate your body.
When your attention returned to your default home channel, your 'sleep paralysis' condition ceased,
resulting in your return of bodily functions.
Keep practising
