Most can't be bothered to go beyond a fairly basic life. If that sounds harsh, try talking to a nice cross section of general joe public sometime .

I had occasion to work in some places where I was exposed to lot of folks who really did believe life was about beer, football, women (t*ts and arses) and TV. I'm not just being prejudiced, that was exactly the experience I had. I won't label any one section of UK population like this alone but a large number of people seem to subscribe to the "simple" life ideal-I don't mean simple in the nice way but the celeb/footy/chav (uk word) type way.

There's gotta be similar in the USA and other places too? Ones who look at you funny if you talk about anything more complex than last nights tv or sex? If you haven't met those folks yet, then hmm..maybe you got lucky LOL.

I still don't sense anything around me and today I've done a number of spell casts and workings-more intensely than ever. It does honestly feel that I'm alone in working. Has anyone else worked up a sweat whilst sitting doing healing/spellcasting etc and still feel solitary in their work?

The first line btw, is the nearest phonetic approximation of what I do naturally in spellcasting-speaking in some kinda tongues..I think there's a coupla words in there from one or two languages but really it's just what I tend to speak out.  I barely manage English so I'm not studied in linguistics.

NO WAY, BUT NO WAY can you use magic to "make" that happen.  There is only one way that magic could be of any help. That is the kind that is used to increase your luck and your potential chances of meeting your soul mate.  This is not about coercing magically the individual to turn up either. This is about affecting your own path and your own chances of coming across this person and recognising them.

It is down to you and only you-without magic to then make the step of recognizing that person.

What I said about enhancing your luck and your potential chances? You can make a bigger difference by exploring your world more in this regard. Whether it's personals, singles clubs, bars/clubs, travel, outdoor adventure.....the list goes on-I guess you get the idea.
I did use the net, to arrange to meet people then I went out and met them.

Does that seem a bit conventional rather than magicking up my life partner? . Just a thought, and yes I do practice a form of magic in my daily life.

The flip side Telos is that there are people who believe devoutly in a god, who to my eyes are as inhuman as a naked ape can possibly get. Religous extremists of one kind or another spring to mind.
Though that's a bit of a digression I have to admit. I do not have a belief in a god or spiritual system yet something in me alone dictates what I feel to be right or wrong, not learned from family either to be honest.  Some of those values are honesty, honor, love, open mindedness, etc etc. So I guess I didn't need a religion to tell me what was right or wrong.

Of course I'm going to believe my morals in this respect are right even though a few of my beliefs clash wildly with the views of certain fundemental groups .

I get a rhytmic perinuem flutter when I do deep bouncing in the legs at the right speed. Not hard tension ever, just slight tension and relaxation-hardly a whisper of thought into the action either. Tongue is on the roof of the mouth naturally, and my throat lock (nearest location anyway) is naturally tensing rhymically when energy working.   These happen naturally and I wouldn't have known different if I hadn't read elsewhere that it wasn't so common.

Seriously, having the intention of demon slayer is going to attract them I would think. I'd also learn a lot more about them if you have a fear of them. Mutual respect tends to alleviate fear issues I would have thought.

I don't know who they are but I've read interesting info on them, CaCoDemon's your man there. However I've discovered through my own family that there is an awareness that they are rather easy to call upon.

If you wish to do some good with energy, with magic and try to make our world better, lay off beings you don't really understand (I am making a large assumption here) and consider healing, life mage type work instead. Or perhaps learn enough to help people push negative influences out of their lives. Hmm..that's life magery LOL..oh well it's sunday I'm allowed to screw it up at 11:40 at night!.

Seriously, you won't need shielding if you can reorientate your intentions. Who can hold "shields" up all day and night? Not a clever notion in the long run, they are for defence not permenent clothing.  Not contradicting CaCoDeMoN's advice either, just pointing out keeping shields up all the time is not possible and counter productive.

Someone started it. In fact many someones did. Having religion full stop is probably a result of it. Exothen, you might be a little too certain of your own path perhaps?

I of course am guilty of nearly the opposite perhaps, I am too certain in my heart that no religion is for me to accept and believe either. Though I will accept the idea that many have common truths here and there that are relevent, too many have too many silly extras IMHO, including irrelevent rules and suchlike.

I cannot see affirmations alone working for specific states. That's too wishy washy. Your brain won't know what you are aiming for.
However repeating any set of syllables mentally for a time is likely to induce a light meditation state for sure.

If you are neurofeedback trained and you associate your affirmations to precise frequencies then yes you can. I own an EEG machine myself and can hit what looks like a reasonable alpha dominant state in seconds now-usually by putting my attention into a mental cone that's inserted into my third eye region.

Affirmations like some other very flimsy methodologies (on their own!) are great when used in a multidiscipinary manner. Linking them to trained states/remembered states is probably the most solid way.

You may have to gently work through this. Reconnecting and grounding will be of benefit of course. Also deliberate training of the energy body in a completely balanced way will help. Specifically working on the chakras that are less active to balance their working. Alcohol won't help so much.

I play with chi all the time, but I've yet to work out how to make my car run on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! or my computer for that matter..or even something modest like um, maybe a  calculator or something.

Sadistic really, or is that masochistic. I agree with you Nagual, what kind of a god goes for fear and pain as a means to an end. One time I will say this, they are wrong, dead wrong. I don't say this often with certainty because so much is uncertain.

You need to work on yourself, your ability to move and transform energy perhaps. Clearings, banishings and other assistance can and will be of great benefit if you are working with people who are solid and real in their practice. You'll find many here for sure.  However you have to dig into yourself a lot more now.  Robert Bruce's psychic self defence book may help you a fair bit.

I'm responding more out of an urge or something rather than simply casually posting. If you was in the UK and prepared to travel to me I would have attempted a spell casting on your behalf. I have the impression that something could be done.  This is a feeling rather than an educated assertation .  Contact me on messenger - it's in my profile and I'll explain further.  Sorry to be cryptic it's just how it's came out really.

Note there are a lot of excellent people on this forum and a big proportion in their arts are probably more experienced in their skills than I am perhaps, so as people add their two cents worth GO with your intuition as best you can.

Learn to focus energy, and focus your intention <- this last being a real biggy. Be clear, precise and thorough. Create your own spell and/or ritual and really dig into the how and why you are doing it. Break it down into the simplest parts as well, there is a likelihood it will need to be a spell cast of a number of simpler spells.  Spells have the intelligence you put into them-generally dumbfire unless you are very precise.

If you can't get past the image thing-candles=womanly etc then you might be still not quite ready to do this? . If it's uncomfortable to use certain props, then don't use them. I use no props at all, I can't really apart from singing in "tongues" that's about it.

Try to encourage her to get into fruits and veg a lot more big time. Lighter meats/fish too rather than red meat.

Clearing the mind meditation would be useful, there are articles on this on the forum for sure. Also the NEW tutorial(s) on astraldynamics.com. If you've got some familiarity, then the Mystic heart healing method maybe of use in time to come also. Drunk here else I'd be more specific. Chi kung, yoga and some solid exercise would help, get her out to the country more if possible. Back to nature would be big help too...major if combined with some energy training, good living and change of lifestyle.

I've slowly come to the conclusion that in various ways I feel that I'm more of a life mage than anything. If you are knowledgeable about such matters, would you see it as at all appropriate to also become dedicated to another practice such as satanism? or would an individual like Thoth or similar be likely to respond to true intention alone? Or am I just asking wine soaked questions here.. LOL...I'm just reading through the site and asking what comes to me. part of me thinks perhaps to go further I need a little help, but other parts of me are too independent to believe that help is even available.....i'm probably a little too skeptical (without due cause actually).
