There's some great energy here, i know it. Funny that my name in Greek means "Healer."

Well, i have addiction problems, mostly caffeine and alcohol. They're pretty strong, or i've just fed them for so long they've gotten fat and well attached. I've tried to shake it, and can for a time in small ways, but they come back.

So, i think i should ask for help from people i believe can help me, and i think my own desire to helped can complete the circuit of energy, otherwise it gets wasted.

I've been reading about Atlantean healing processes and i WISH WISH WISH our world could discover the benefits of electromagnetism again and the polarity of the organs. It is all so fascinating...

thanks for any help you can offer, and i'll be there for someone too...

Welcome to Metaphysics! / the Templar Project

Has anyone heard of this? It was supposed to be some kind of communications beacon to E.T.s built in the American southwest. I don't think it has anything to do with Knights templar.

I read somewhere that there are quite a few books of the Bible that were left out by the early church in their effort to create their image and interpretation of christianity. Born and raised christian myself, i find this most extraordinary and fascinating. I had NEVER understood why the bible depicted the life of Jesus only from birth and then picked up again in his early 30's? What happened inbetween?

Here is what i have heard, and if anyone can verify or point me to these texts or summaries of these texts, i would be greatly appreciative.

Jesus traveled to India during his early adulthood and practiced Buddhism under a different name. He was married to Mary Magladene and sired two children (known as Nephalim, blood of the divine). This was kept very low key because all of their lives would be in jeopardy. There are books of the Bible that go into more detail about Adam and Eve AFTER the fall, after Cain and Abel, and there are references to the book of Enoch, which is still part of some texts used today.

I've read that there has been incredible misinterpretation and translation problems over the thousands of years since the bible was created, but this does not mar the fact that Jesus was the son of God and his truth and love is still a viable beacon for mankind. What perplexes me is that over the centuries christianity has been used by various groups to propogate fear, control the masses, generate wealth, herd mankind into boxes of belief with no option for free will or thought, and generally lull them into believing that God is outside themselves, unknown, often rathful, and unknowable other than through a intermediary priest, rabbit, etc. The bible has expressed that some people are more valuable to god than others, and this never rang true for me as i believe all men are equal, as we are all God experiencing himself in the flesh.

Ok people, here is an odd question:

I was born with a small hole at the base of my spine, the coccyx. It's sort of like a small belly button, grown over by skin and quite painless. It doesn't DO anything, just an odd little birth defect, but i have been wondering what this anomaly might have to do with kundalini raising?

I have been practicing the initial yoga, meditations and not QUITE the mantras yet, and i'm hoping to find a kundalini teacher in the area to go once a week. I understand that the fire serpent lies dormant at the base chakra in all humans, but whether that is the perineum (between anus and genitals) or the actual tailbone area, i'm not sure. They're so close there might be substantial overlap.

Still, having a hole in an area of sacred personal power has raised some questions within me, such as might it be there for a purpose i am not aware of, or a potential problem or leakage? Anyway, if there's someone out there who could shed some light, thanks, i know it is an odd question.

Welcome to Dreams! / HOW do Dreams Work?
June 23, 2004, 10:57:39
To my understanding, every night when we dream a part of our energy body disconnects and soars through the astral, reconnecting with our higher selves and mingling with the grid of thought-energy patterns that encircle the globe (and probably all worlds in the multiverse). I'm still not positive as to the importance of this event, but i do know that it is very important. It's almost like our dreaming is connecting to what is REAL, which is our spiritual selves, and when we wake we are really in the illusion of reality again, having forgotten our trip to other worlds. Just like the Matrix, except that after we pop the pill there isn't a hellish existense, but rather a wonderful one. I think that when people consciously and continuously learn to OBE, they are experiencing realms and states of mind usually reserved for the dead.

Welcome to Metaphysics! / The Creation of Man
June 15, 2004, 10:11:32
Some say it dates back as far as the Summerians, many thousands of years before modern religions.  Their texts teach of creation stories and visitors that blended DNA to create workers with free thought and will and intelligence, and species as well. Can anyone (Tayesin perhaps) elaborate on this? I have specific questions as to how the Neanderthals and dinosaurs fit into the equation. Are the Seven Sisters the home of the Annunaki?

To my knowledge this has never been done. Or if it has, they are not publically available. Anyone know why? Perhaps it would be sensationalism, and draw unwanted attention. On the other hand, perhaps it could be used a visual proof, particularly if it were a three day ordeal with reams of tape. I was just curious if anyone knew about it. That would be a freaky freaky thing to watch. yech.

Has anyone ever tried this? I've been thinking and studying a lot recently about the nature of the Earth Goddess elemental, the spirit of the world, and i wonder if it is something that can actively be seen with astral sight? Would she dwell at the center of the world? If nothing else it would be cool to see a place no one else ever has...

I've been researching some of the differences between shamanistic lore and kundalini, and i am rather SCARED by the implications of both.

http://www.kundalini.se/eng/engkni.html

The link above is fairly long and intricate, but it seems to say for the most part that raising the Fire Serpent has a good chance of driving you insane or dead or lost in an etherealm. It even mentions that bodily eruption is possible (which sounds eerily like the unproven "spontaneous combustion."

I, like many persons on these boards, am very interested in the esoteric secrets of our world, but the paths seem riddled with such large obstacles i wonder if the effort if worth it. Psychosis, hallucinations, mental disorder, visions, and other irreprable brain damage can be a likely side effect of your brain channeling more energy that it is ready to handle.

I know there are experienced shamans and kundalists who can shed more light on this, but my questions seem to lie more with SHOULD i follow this route and the risks involved? How does one know if it is right for them? How do you know your will and strength are strong enough to endure the tests without losing everything until you try?

What is the price of secret knowledge? Sheez, no wonder the Easterners kept this so wrapped up...

What about prisons? Hundreds of violent, mentally disturbed people locked in a place with other disturbed people. Insane asylums? What is legitimate mental disease and what is a shadowing neg, pushing the pins to generate more pain? Graveyards? Now this one i haven't quite figured out. Each person died elsewhere, so what would make a spirit follow its corpse? Are other lost spirits attracted to graveyards? Maybe a concentrated sense of sadness at such places, i don't know. A warfront. Thousands of people under incredible stress, thinking about killing, looking at killing, often filled with hate and anger and fear and just about every negative emotion you can think of. Would this be a literal playground for negative entities?

In the sense of negs being relatively unintelligent astral wildlife, i can see them flocking to areas like small sharks smelling blood. Does anyone know the validity or possibility of these situations? It would make sense in the fact that each of these scenarios tends to breed more and more of the same problems.

I've been thinking recently that the human race is taking an interesting direction. If we were to all move into a spiritually enhanced state where all men and women were taught as children about how to develop their natural psychic ability and connection to God and each other, we would all be better off. So few people understand Who and What they are, and are embedded firmly in the dream of the world and its illusion. But i can see a wonderful evolutionary trend where we could really become something akin to angels on earth. The thought makes me feel calm and happy, like it will all work out one of these days (well past our lifetimes!)

I've been reading Bruce's Psychic Self Defense and have to admit i find the book wonderful. It ties together most if not all theories i've had in the past, and the way he presents them is so...scietific, that it is a joy to read. It's like an extremely analytical mind turning itself to analyze non-scientific topics.

Anyway, he states several times that he wishes that no one would ever have to live through what he has seen. Which is a nice thought, no one wants to suffer at the hands of incorporeal beings. I have the theory though that these Beings all exist for a specific purpose, and Bruce has amped his encounter chance but spending a lifetime investigating them. Negs tend to cause and feed off negative human emotion, as a way of testing and strengthening the spirit/mind/body. They also exist as opposite templates of Love, as one must exist to have the other. I think that very weak, lesser Negs probably operate in the lives of everyday people. Lack of patience at traffic lights, anger at bad drivers, jealosy of rejected lovers, these things are subtle and normal and very HUMAN, but again, so are the negs.

The Negs want to cause fear, they want to scare people from learning about the otherworld, because knowledge is power and the more we know the less we fear them. Lastly, God's plan is for mankind to learn who and what He is through experimentation. I suppose if it was too easy to learn then God wouldn't have as much fun trying. Anyway, just some thoughts i was having and wanted to share them.

I read that this is a practice of Wicca, and i'm sure it is much older than that. I know little about it. Can anyone shed some light on Why one summons them and invites them into your body? I've heard that it is done for the ultimate spiritual joining, but it sounds dangerous to me. Letting anything into your mind scares me. I've even read of rituals invoking Greek gods by name? What exactly are you tapping into, what natural force/presence?

I've had a hard time figuring out where to post this question. It crosses several different mythological/cultural/metaphyscial/religious boundaries that make a simple answer difficult. Any input or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. First off, a little background on where i'm coming from:

I believe in a one God, a Creator of the Universe. Since Time began people have been trying to figure out there relationship with God, which i believe is really God just experiencing Himself in the best ways he knows how. Now, add to this mixture thousands of years of human religion, spiritual thought, magic, prayer, and general confusion. Magic is very real, and all humans are magicians on the simplest level. Our Voice and Thought and powers of Imagination are godlike gifts, fully capable of shaping our existense.

The spirit World...

This is connected to the Astral Plane, or the dream realm or thought realm or whatever you want to call it. Negs and the dead and travelers and angels and all matter of non-physical beings reside in the astral. They always have and always will.

In the past men worshipped Nature to a large extent, and still do today. I think God IS nature, but many religions and esoteric beliefs have given homage to pieces of God, such as Fire and Water. Other religions make the gods akin to mankind, like the Greek or Roman pantheons. But what were these religions based on? Could there have been REAL gods, aspects of the Divine that ancient civilizations were in tune with?

Or, with the knowledge we have of negs and such, could old-world religions have been based on deceptive spirits?

Or lastly, are there spiritual embodiments of Fire, Water, Earth, and Wind that the faithful call into their bodies, such as the Wiccan faith and druids? Are these elemental beings, these embodiments of our universes most basic forms, true gods with their own intelligence and agenda, or are they mindless, or are practioners who summon spirits to worship being fooled by entities that just want to hurt/confuse them?

Sorry for the terribly long post, there are just lots of questions i hope to find answers for.

To clarify, i have not had an OBE. I've not even tried, and won't for some time yet. I want to learn more about it. My question here is as follows: I sleep very well every night, and i rarely rarely remember dreams upon waking, although i'm sure i DO dream every night. So, during this "recharge" phase, that part of my spiritual sense leaves the body and wanders another plane, an astral realm closer to God. Sometimes if there is an event in my life that is particularly stressful, or immenent, it will manifest as a weird dream. But even that is not common. BUT, i can sometimes recall a particular nightmare from say, 20 years ago. The memory of that particular dream has never left me. I had a dream once that was a werewolf movie, as if i was actually watching the film but not a part of it. I remember thinking upon waking what a great film it was because it had a plot, characters and more depth than most dreams (and some movies!) But, the details left me soon and all i have is the memory of a cool dream.

So, this brings up my next topic: many experienced and unexperienced posters here describe extremely vivid dream states. Their Third Eye is yanked wide open and they often slip into astral sight even if they don't want to. Furthermore, once the door is open you have attracted the denizens of the outer realms, at least some people have.

Does anyone who regularly astrally travel ever have TROUBLE sleeping? Has your concept of sleep changed from "oh, i'm tired, i need a nap" to "I need to power my etheric battery and battle my fears." I hope i'm making sense here...

Ok, i've read a lot of these posts and i've ordered the cream of crop books from Amazon. I'm a very spiritual person and i've always wondered what Dreams really were. Now i think i know. They are windows into the Astral where our minds/spirits touch the divine. Maybe we need it to sort of recharge internal power batteries, i'm not sure. Any theories?

Anyway, from what i've read about first hand experiences, it seems that people get visited a lot, often by beings that want to hold onto them, threaten them, scare them. Now, to me, that doesn't sound like fun, particularly when you lie down for a normal night of sleep, but your Third Eye has been permanently opened and every foray into sleep allows your attackers another chance. That's just scary to me, and could very well be the cause of demonic possessions; weak-willed people who are approached by entities too powerful for them to resist. They've gotten in over their heads in metaphysics.

So, have these dangers (and i'm sure there are more, i'm still new to this) been considered by others before they embark on this psychic adventure, or are most people so excited by the opportunity that they jump into it without first deciding that they SHOULD?

The coolest tidbit i've seen yet is a logical example for souls/minds of humans that don't know where to go after they're dead. They didn't know in life, and they don't know in death. I'm just not sure what all of these astral wildlife/elemental things are that are out there, mostly innocent, but often malevolent.

What's the worst that anyone has seen (and still has the presence of mind to describe it?)

Man, some of this sounds too much like Cthulhu...

I was reading a post the other day about elemental spirits, spirits of the planets, astral wildlife, and ancestor spirits.  How does all of this play into the OBE? What exactly are these beings and how/why do they interact with us? I think that we are probably surrounded by them all the time, we just can't see them and most can't see us. And if they CAN see us, what would they want to do?
#193
Interesting. I wonder how many people exhibit this "magical" ability and don't know it. They are for all intents invisible in a crowd and can't turn it off. Reminds me of an old old old Carol Burnett skit where she had the same problem; couldn't get orders in a restaurant, people always bumping into her, etc. Her friends could see her, but even then she was shoved to the background and easily forgotten. Rather sad actually.

My studies really started in earnest with Ruiz's Four Agreements. In that he stated that ALL humans are magicians whether they know it or not. Every word and thought has an impact, a consequence, and we constantly constantly cast spells unknowingly on others through our words and actions, hooking their attention and planting seeds of creation or destruction. It all depends on what a person accepts as "truth" about themselves. And then you get into the realm of prayer, which is a form of powerful intent-based magic, and then there is the hermetic stuff, and shamanistic. The list goes on and on. When you consider that everything in the multiverse is made of energy, and anything that manipulates energy is "magic" then we're all cosmic wizards! With some being really really good at what they do and know, and most pretty crappy.

But isn't love also the "ether", that fifth element that holds all the others cohesively together? (yeah, it sounds like the movie, i know). I sort of thought as the God/Oneness/Isness AS Love, and everything we experience in "reality" is just that love broken down into smaller experiencial pieces. Even hate, for one must exist to have validity for the other.

Hey, me too Naiad! In fact, i'm at work right now "researching online." No, it's not a career, just pays the bills until i figure out what i'm supposed to do with my life. Sigh. Guess i'll keep working on energetically creating money for my higher good...

Did it work the first time you tried Lola, or did you have to pracice alot? That's one energetic spell i'd like to learn. And right on Rastus, if you had Buddah/Christ skillsets you wouldn't be hanging out a bar anyway! (well, probably not)

Hi clandestino, Nita. Clan, i too am just starting to read Bardon's books, after finding references to them on Nita's webgroup (thanks Nita, and thanks for the A. Bailey too). I agree, magic through the ages, as i am coming to learn, has come in many guises and names according to practitioner, culture, and era. Most of it is the same thing, and i'm happy to know that one day, through dedication and study and eventual mastery, these techniques will become much more commonplace and understood among mankind. Hence, Magic becomes Science again.

I agree with this jiola. Given the current trend and direction of human spiritual evolution, and the gifts from our brothers and sisters of the cosmos who have been where we are now and made it beyond, we have much to look forward to. Their evolved societies work quite efficiently without money. It WOULD be in the best interest of our planet to forgo wealth and concentrate on supporting the needs of every human on the planet, and the planet's needs herself! But, as we know, we are nowhere near having this kind of global cohesion yet. In our dreams and imagination it exists, and that is a powerful place nonetheless. We'll just keep the goal firm in our will and dreams.

For anyone just reading the end of this thread, i suggest start from the beginning and go through it. It is really very good, with highly applicable suggestions for improving your life/outlook/peace of mind. Great stuff here really. thanks everyone for sharing.
