Thank you for posting this as an addiction that many people have that is basically always overlooked is the addiction to religion. This is why I quite going to churches (I tried 13 different churches) people who are alcohalics are much less scarier than people with addiction to religion. they just put a sound proof paper bag and shut themselves out of the world. (although I am sure many many people would dissagree this is how I believe president bush won the election with religion but this is an OPINION look it up)

although the idea of people millions of years from now being able to do that i dont think that even in a billion years that many peoples mind will be able to grasp the idea of infinite parallel universes much less the idea of infinite. This is because  the human mind needs and creates many "laws" and boundries from birth so that functioning will be easier. an example would be the room you may be in when reading this has walls right?(mostlikely) because we need boundries to seperate this room from the next. without them everything would just mesh together with no ends or beginnings (much like time) so if the universes are and very well may be like a walless room how would they know to go from this one to the next without any guidlines of where to go?

I love quantum physics so much to debate over. dont you think there would be some noticable shift or change when going through alternate universes? but if you see it as going back and fourth to different universes by the millisecond I guess it wouldnt  be noticable at all since it is a parallel universe you would just mesh together with the other one. so interesting

even though this isn't the "do out minds influence reality thread" (which I don't think there is) with a quantum physics view our minds create boundaries and rules which prohibit our freedom yet let us think easier with the guidelines we have created (i.e. not be able to flying around in five places at once and one of the 5 of the 1 person is a pear) so our shadows  are the lesser areas of light created by our "physical" (once again quantum physics view) bodies prevent the majority of light passing through thus if there is no light there should be something else in its absence which in turn would be the shadow so I would think that if our minds are the controllers whether or not we control our own minds we create it and make it follow us to maintain the laws of physics..............however this is just quantum physics (I think) and it is all basically speculation and  I am just rambling on about someone Else's thought in someone Else's thread so I'll be quite(er)

I've noticed something like that before. Lie directly underneath a ceiling fan turned on medium. Concentrate on the center and the spinning blades will appear to spin faster and faster, then disappear.

you can can get that on a lot of things like stare at a spoon  long enough and it disappears but on the note of the fan, depending on the angle you stare at it eventually it appears to spend in the opposite direction and I figure that its your eyes trying to catch the movements of the fan but can only manage seeing it here and there and it turns into a slide show sending it into opposite spin. I am sure there is some type of scientific mumbo jumbo to describe it properly but what I typed is close enough I would gather.[/quote]

well he could but as you could probably imagine there are just as many pros and cons to both sexes so whichever was found more apealling (which is usually ones own sex is more appealing but sometimes that is not the case) but in this case it could also be both sexes do not sound appealing but you never know I suppose.

"of the light"? I  really dont think any of that stuff really would work. they too have a mind and I really doubt that anything else would prevent them from fooling you. James S is correct in what he said and is something that I do whenever I have to use the board to get information. don't just toy with it or with the spirit itself because this will only be damaging to the user. the best solution would be to avoid it all together and find other more useful things to do with your time.......like fly a kite

well I live in southern California so I am used to it all but to be honest I'd rather it be cloudy and cold than sunny and hot. I have a bunch of relatives in phoenix so I am there all the time but at least in Arizona the humidity is so much lower.

well I figured that through deep meditation you could properly release these seals. Last night I was trying to go through the possibilities of why people or specific persons would  have one and only a few things had come to mind.
1. in a past life (either earth or some other place) you were cursed  and had a seal placed upon you to prevent your energy  or maybe restrict it for your own good

2. certain people may have purposely placed a seal upon themselves before entering human realm which could possibly be large energy levels that the body is truly capable of may disrupt our "reality' and thus restriction would be necessary.

another thing could be the often cartoon mentioned version of demons or other entities sealed in the body but I don't feel like that would be a possibility and even if that did happen would it carry over a lifetime?

hmm......deep meditation would sound like the key to break any seals but I think that maybe it just allows you to partially remove it and use some of ones true potential. very interesting.

I'll be going all 5 days (including preview night), but comic-con is so much fun and there are all kinds of things to do there I cant wait. Still diciding if I should dress up as anything this year.

I was thinking for a while the other day and I got to thinking about mental blocks and then I was wondering is it possible that you had a seal or some type of thing placed upon you to prevent energy gain? would this be something that is placed upon every human soul and then you break them with meditation. it was just a thought that I figured maybe someone might know something about or I could be talking about none sense and this discussion would start and end with this post. I am not necessarily sure why you would have purposely placed constrictions of energy placed upon oneself like maybe from a previous life or something.
