My theory is, that your energy is always being raised to some extent.

"Perpetual Energy Raising" Is explained in Chapter 13 of NEW Energy ways. The name of the chapter is "Energy and the immune system''.

Robert states that energy raised can become habitual, much like breathing can. He said it could take quite some time before it becomes an automatic and continual action, but well worth the effort.

But like I said, I believe that energy is constantly being ''raised" inside of us, this practice only increasing the amount of energy raised though. So I guess you can say that normally our energy raises very slowly, but developing the energy body and chakras can increase energy flow dramatically which the rate/amount of energy raised is far greater.

Hence, I'm just saying that we've already triggered this in some way, we just have to strengthen it.

Stookie, thanks for your reply.
I would like others to post on this as well, seeing how it can open a new outlook on energy raising.

Thanks

Since I've started NEW, I've been wondering alot on how it works.
I have a tendency to over think or mediate deeply on certain things, its both my strong point and my weak point.
Anyway,I have been thinking about energy raising and its effects and all that.

I have a little theory on energy raising, but I want to know if its accurate or not. So I need replies to this,OK?

Robert Bruce mentioned in his book that raising energy is a very beneficial action in energy work..as well as day to day life...
I have also read numerous reports on people's experiences/feelings during energy raising. The majority of them say that energy raising as made their lives easy on some extent.
But one question comes to mind about that. Since energy is in constant motion is side of us, whether we are sitting still or moving, some degree of energy is used. still with me?
Well, another well known fact that Chakras, which are the energy absorbers of our body, are always 'open' sort to speak (unless you have blockages, which can be cleared through various practices, but lets stay on track)
They just have different levels of "activation''. Robert Bruce said this himself in one of his post (which, interestingly enough, can be found on this site).

That said, all our chakras are working as we speak, giving us energy, depending on your level that is. In a normal person they just absorb enough energy that is needed, without the benefit of any extra energy. Take note that a human also receives energy as they breathe, eat, sleep, etc. And although the charkas are an integral part of our body, their function is somewhat independent, such as we don't have to constantly focus on them to work, they just do.

However, I person that engages in spiritual practices, whether it be Tai Chi, Chi Kung or NEW, work to strengthen their Charkas centers (primary and secondary) , thus giving them they needed amount of energy plus some energy to spare.

Now, since our Chakra's our never "closed", they are in constant operation. Meaning that they take in energy by themselves, even when are aren't directing them to (they have to, seeing how that what they are for)
So this leaves me to believe that are energy is constantly being "raised" sort to speak, but its only the needed amount to survive, and even if a person has naturally strong charkas, most people like that waste their extra energy in necessary ways.
Thus, this is nothing more than a smaller level of "perpetual energy raising" mentioned in Robert's book.

Through spiritual/energy practice, they chakras are conditioned to absorb/store much more energy, giving the person much more stamina, calmness of mind, etc. the only difference is that now their energy is flowing on a much faster rate, and the energy raised because of that is much greater, although we are still constantly taking in energy , via our Charkas.
So my point is, we are constantly raising our energy, though in speed/strength/circulation is greatly increased for people who are developed.

I've noticed the term "energy flow" pop up in numerous places in the Energy Way's book. This only adds to my theory as Robert clearly spoke of it as an important factor.

Of course, a theory is just a theory, and although I still debating on this myself, I believe I may be on to something.

Now, I want to ask you all one last thing.(well, two, lol)

1) How often do all you out there raise energy? Everyday, Weekly, Monthly? Do you notice anything change as time goes by?
2) How many of you have actually triggered "Perpetual energy raising" that Robert was referring to in his book? How long did it take to achieve?

I still think that PER has many different levels, being weak or strong, I just want you guys to share your experiences.

The reason I started this topic is, I was wondering one day while reading NEW energy ways that if you ever do trigger PER raising and for some reason would like to stop raising energy, could you just will it to stop, then when your ready, start it up again?
Pretty soon after that I began dwelling on it and came up with the theory mentioned above, which put the previous question on hold? Why ask such a thing if its already happening?

I hope I got my words out clear enough, and this was easy to understand. And sorry for it being so long.

Any feedback, positive or negative (not to negative!! ) will be appreciated.

Thanks, Both of you!!

I'll be sure to let you know how it turns out.^^

Thank you for all your replies, fellas, you don't know how much this has helped. Now I am only one step closer in my training. Now if only someone would reply to my other post *hint hint* I would like different views and opinions on this subject before fully dive into training.

Thanks again.

Can someone please answer soon? SOMEBODY?!

Okay. Here is the deal, all you have to do to get proficient at NEW is just being able to pinpoint your awareness correct? Does it matter how you go about this, as long as you get the general effect? I know different people use different methods to get results to make their awareness "stand out" sort to speak. But after you've done this for a while, NEW should become  nearly effortless within a reasonable amount of time , right?

I have a few experiments I'd like to try with this to help me pinpoint my awareness better, but I won't post them until I test them out first and see how effective they are with me first, I just wanted to be sure of something first.

Thanks for any feedback.

Ok. I have been practicing with energy for 4 years, mostly using visualization which really doesn't give me too much of a problem. Although I admit...it is a bit slow but still rather effective.

In all honestly, visualization has probably boosted my training with NEW, because there were times in the past were I was able to generate strong feelings of energy rushing through my body using visualization alone ( I had to work hard for months though).

All I have to do is visualize my aura flowing through my entire body and picture(feel as well) it moving to a specific place. It actually works, as the specific limb I try to move it too starts to tremble after a while and even get warm.

Recently I wanted to find I way to sharpen my skills even more, and after much web surfing, I came across this site and eventually Robert Bruce's NEW.

I must say, reading all the positive responses on this system and also hearing on how quick and effective it is, I could barely contain myself.

My point in this post is, given my experience, would it hurt to combine NEW and a bit of visualization ( I find it helps me). All I have to do is picture my energy and that alone causes me to feel energy rushing through me....so will it hurt? Yes, I know RB says that you shouldn't use visualization if your trying to PROJECT, since you need all of your mental energy then, but right now I'm only trying to strengthen my energy body.

I gather NEW can also be tweaked in some ways to make it easier, this is just one way I thought of which would be an aid to me since it hardly takes any effort on my part to do.

Also, how can I pinpoint the Sub-Navel? I've read over and over again you should just gather alot of energy you draw up into your lower abdomen, but I don't want to unintentually store it in the wrong Chakra. For instance, isn't your root center(primary) generally located their too? I want to try to avoid Primary work till I get the lower systems down like Robert suggested. So if I draw energy up, how will I know is my Sub-Navel and not my Root/Base primary? Is there a difference on how they feel?

Thanks.

G'day to you!^^

"I read somewhere on the internet that if you are in control of your energy, it is important to be careful when practicing astral projection -- that if you gather all your energy and try to throw it out in hopes of leaving your body, something bad might happen! -- any idea what that person was on about? "

My guess is it could possibly lead to burnout (which is a state which energy flow is decreased, harder to use, and you have massive headaches...never been in this state before but I hear its bad) and you could exhaust yourself to death by "throwing" all of your energy out at once...If not that, you wouldn't have a very good projection or you may even feel fatigued with you return to your body. This is the best answer I can give. My advice to you is to just take it slow, taking in a good amount of energy is good, but too much of it will do more harm that good.

"I've signed up for remote Kundalini Reiki attunements, each at a 3 day interval from tomorrow till early April -- any recommendations for reading and such? "

Lol. To tell you the ABSOLUTE truth I have just recently signed up for this same course not to long ago myself. This is how I found out about Robert Bruce's new.

I have a few links with a couple of Reiki techniques and info on them.

"And one last one! Do you know about that ringing sound you usually hear in your head? I did a chakra cleansing exercise the other day and ever since, I could swear that the ringing sound changed, from a flat tone to a little theremin playing in my head ; do you think the exercise I did is responsible"

Hmm...I think this has to do with the Third Eye or the Crown. Have you developed these yet? Or any of your primary centers? It has been said once a good amount of work as been put into developing the crown / the third eye, the more in touch with the higher planes you are. Meaning you can communicate via physical to astral or vice versa once you get skilled enough.

Of course this may not have anything to do with it at all, maybe its just a physical side effect your body goes through after working with energy. I haven't started on my higher chakras yet, since RB said its faster to work with secondary.

I may be wrong on this, please, if anyone has a better answer, feel free to share/correct me.

I've hoped I managed to help you in some way. I am always glad to offer advice/aid to someone.

As for advice... Well, I have yet to achieve an OBE, but I am making good progress, or so I feel!

"The best advice I can give you is not to overdo it ; let it happen, do not force it! Also, read a lot about it, give yourself a mission to fulfill in the astral, make your subconscious know of your intentions!

And well... That's about it... Enjoy yourself in these forums :) "

Thank YOU for making me feel so at home. And for your advice. It has always been my absolute goal to astral project.

Hello everyone!

I'm glad to be apart of this forum with so many others, who, like myself are crazy about metaphysics and stuff in general.

First off, I just wanna make clear that I am in no means I newbie,  although I have indeed been down that road once (don't we all? of course).

I have actually been working with energy for 4 years, although it was just using visualization and a WHOLE lot of meditation and similar practices such as Chi Kung/Qigong/ and some Tai Chi.

Ki is not new to me, and I've been around the block more than once and I have asked all the newbie questions a guy could ask, so what I'm saying is, If any one would like to chat about ANYTHING about energy I have more than enough experience to share ( I hope that didn't come off as boasting  )

Anyway, Robert Bruce's system of NEW and his ROPE method of Astral Projection interest me. I just recently adapted this system to my own methods. I can visualize pretty good as well as recognize the feel of chi moving through your body, which can be pretty powerful at times, which is why I don't think I'll have any trouble with it. Combined with visualization and "muscle memory" , plus a few tweaks I've read of this forum so far, NEW should be a breeze. I plan to be able to have a full body circuit in the span of 3 months ( I know it sounds impossible, but I am pretty obsessive in my training  ) That way, I'll be able to reach my TRUE goal: Fully conscious Astral Projection (and just recently, raising Kundalini, which will come later).

I humbly ask for any suggestion you all have to make my training in NEW a little easier cause I hear its tough on beginners.

Ok, That's pretty much all I have to type on my intro...I'll stop rambling now.

Is it true that Chakra's tempararily "shut down" while engaged in physical exericse? If so, do any of you know why?

Welcome to Magic! / Ki Control
November 29, 2005, 19:27:50
Ki is the Japanese term for "Life Force Energy". There are lots of different definitions and variations on what it is and how it is manipulated, but really thats just all it is. "Chi" is the Chinese term for Ki, and its all just the same energy.

It can be controlled lotsa ways. The main method I use is visualization. However, some people have different approaches to it, like the ones who use the NEW system.

Don't let anyone confuse you about energy. Ki, Psi, Magick and whatnot all use the same energy, but just different ways of manipulating it and different opinions on how it works. My advice to you is to find your own.^^

Hope that helps you.

Thank you all. I feel alot better toward this subject now. I guess I was kinda freaked out how some people may have exaggerated about their experiences ruining their lives...But what you all say makes sense, and now I see that some form of training or work in energy manipluation, yoga, or any other spiritual practice makes the process much safer.

You guys really inspired me! Thanks alot!

Thanks for the reply stamboe, this really helped me out hearing from someone who has gone through this.

Also, I have noticed that the number of people who have arisen Kundalini were not at all prepared for it, or not prepared well enough at least.

I have also read that is DOES vary from person to person what happens when one raises it.

Based on your experience, it doesn't seem sound as so terrible as some people claim it too be. Atleast you were able to overcome some of your problems you had, if not all.

What kind of meditation do you prefrom, stamboe? and what other problems do you have? Anything worth mentioning?

As for you dmoney, I haven't risen Kundalini myself just yet, but I have heard of some positive effects, for instance, one is constantly feeling a everlasting feeling of love and compassion, better intuition, and enhanced psychic abilities.

You'll have to ask around to find out more, perhaps ask some of the people who have risen it on have them tell you the positive aspects on it.

I appricate the feedback guys^^

Hello. This is my first time posting in this forum, and I am happy to have found this place. I hope we all can get along great. So without further adieu, my question.

Ok. How many of you out there have successfully risen Kundalini? Or better yet, raised Kundalini at all? I have a question for all of you.

I have read thousands of articles about Kundalini. The first time I heard about it was 4 years ago but I did not take it seriously back then, if fact, it sounded far too complex to me, seeing how I was only 14 years old at the time and was, well, your average, impatient teenager and didn't want to waste my time with stuff like that.^^

Anyway, I have been interested in energy manipulation and astral projection for years, and I have done several forms of Tai Chi, Qi-gong and even some forms of yoga ( or I believe them to be so, I'm not sure) anyway....

I want to know, if you raise Kundalini, will it make you dumber? Many of the articles I read said that people who have risen Kundalini ( the majority stated that their Kundalini was spontaneously awakened) say that they have trouble concentrating or have memory problems, thus putting a stop to any chances or hopes they had at Academic growth.

I am very interested in Kundalini, but I also don't want to ruin my chances of getting further in school or whatnot....Is this a common problem, or is memory/concentration impairment only a side-effect of unwise forcing a Kundalini awakening or not being prepared?

To those who have awakened Kundalini, how can one counter this problem or better yet, prevent it? Is it even something I have to worry about, I plan to take every safe measure there is if I do plan to awaken my Kundalini, and I have been working with energy for years, so, will I be alright? Please help me out guys. Thanks^^
