Welcome to Astral Chat! / 8march2003.com
March 08, 2003, 16:37:00
Well I was gonna wait till there were a bunch of replies to this topic, but oh well...

The site is a hoax.  First of all, there's no way he could "zoom in" on the ship to make out the words "Ark II"
Secondly, on Nov. 7th, the author himself even stated its a joke:
Dear readers,

This site was originally posted as a piece of writing with purposeful clues and discrepancies to indicate it's fictitious nature leading up to a pre publicity campaign to see how much interest it might generate. Quite honestly the overwhelming response and attention was not expected, or at least not so quickly. That was why the site was posted several months ahead with the intention of it slowly gathering momentum, leading up to the actual revealing date.

Most people have sent emails indicating that they enjoyed the site and looked forward to finding out about the potential release of a variety of things such as a new movie, computer game, SLR camera, novel, camera film and the list goes on.

There are some that have taken this site too seriously, and it has been brought to my attention that innocent people have been implicated as the creators of this site. I therefore feel it is appropriate to make this announcement. As many have pointed out, if the story was for real it would have been shut down by now.

If you still wish to follow this event, please enjoy it as a fictitious story leading up to what will be revealed on the above mentioned date. If there is enough interest, the original story may be re-posted as an optional link on this page within the next few weeks.

Kind Regards,
HM
HM@8march2003.com

Ten days later... he added this:
Thank you for your overwhelming positive response. I have posted some of the emails that I've received during the last month for your viewing.
The purpose behind this site was to create intrigue, fascination and interest leading up to what this event is about. It has certainly achieved that objective. Once again, apologies to anyone who took it too seriously.

Now that the nature of this campaign has been revealed, please enjoy the adventure leading up to March 8 2003

What I think is going to happen is he is gonna use this "story" to write a book or movie, and had fun with it by hyping it up on this website.

Any comments on it would still be welcome tho [:D]
(Just cause he said this story is a joke, doesn't mean it can't actually happen) [;)]

Welcome to Metaphysics! / My Visions
March 07, 2003, 20:40:17
...[:O] wow.

First of all I would like to thank you for sharing kakkarot.  Alot of times people like to keep stuff like this to themselves.

If you don't mind, I would like to post what came to mind while reading these visions.. I'm sure other people will have very different things come to mind while reading it as well; these are just the ones that popped in my head:

Vision1, part1: when i was reading this, the WTC disaster came to mind.  I mean, a tall business building with something bad coming at it is really similar.  I know you live in Canada, and I think you're around the same age as me (22), but maybe that there was a series of choices that could have led you to work in NYC. ?

Vision1, part2: the movie "Signs" by M. Night Shamylan (sp?) came to mind. (very good bust scary movie, for me atleast, evil aliens always creep me out... was paranoid for couple nights afterwards)

Vision2: again, the movie "Signs" briefly came to mind, you said you had a feeling that these battles were against sentinent beings and were happening all over North America..(possibly world?)... very similar to the movie.

I think Visions 3,4 & 5 are all possible outcomes to the situation at hand.  Vision 5 is very unforunate, yet somewhat reassuring.  Vision 5 reminds me alot of what I "vision" to be the world after what would be a nuclear war.
(not to get off-topic, but if this is true, and you believe in Atlantis, it's not hard to see that history repeats itself.  ((Which I believe we have the power to stop if we as a whole realize it and come together to prevent it fomr happening)) The survivors of this nuclear war would become much like the surviving Atlanteans that are believed to have created the "ancient civilizations".  the people after this war would scatter around the world finding the least devastated area and start creating small communities, using whatever technologies are left to create what will become in hundreds of thousands of years later, wonders of the world)

I'm glad you have realized that you were going down the wrong road.  Many are not as fortunate to have such revelations and let God open their eyes and give them a second chance.  I wish you luck this second time around, and keep us updated on any new visions. [;)][:D]

learn, love & enjoy,
Ethan

I have never heard of "chemtrails" (aka contrails) before so I did some research.  For others who have never heard of it before, it's the same given to the trails in the sky that form when a jet flys by.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but what I found is that there are alot of people who think that many of the trails are actually chemicals or poisons being sprayed on civilians by military jets?  In defense, some people build these tower-like objects ("cloud-busters") that supposedly take the chemicals out of the air?

I don't know, this is all very new to me... what makes you think that the trails are poison?  I mean, none of the sites I went to had any proof at all.  All they did was show a picture of a trail (like a jet had just passed by) and then proceeded to say how it's poison.  Maybe I'm missing something, but it all seems pretty unreasonable to me.

Sorry for getting Off Topic Shawn.

How often do you watch the news?  Often, sometimes, never?
The media instills so much fear inside us everyday.  How often do you hear about the good things that are happening around us?  Not very often.  Most of the time you turn on the news, they're reporting another murder, or in the case of the Philadelphia area, a body was found with no organs inside.
Do you know that over the past "x" years (I forget how many) the murder rate has gone down 20% in the US?  Probably not because at the same time, media coverage on murders went up 600%!  SIX HUNDRED PERCENT!  From watching the news, you would think that the murder rate is on an exponential increase.
Fear is thrown on us everyday, and when it builds up, major problems start happening.  People don't think as clearly, make rational decisions, become paranoid... etc.  I'm not saying that you're definitely not recieving some sort of messages or whatnot, but just take into consideration what is happening in the world around us today, and how much "bad news" we take in, and that maybe these thoughts of something bad about to happen is the buildup of so much fear that you are EXPECTING something bad because according to the media, that's all that seems to happen.  Just my 2 cents.

That's horrible.  Just another reason why I feel like I can't talk to anyone about this stuff.  I might be charged for murder!  So sad... I hope she's found innocent.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Don't shop at Petco
March 03, 2003, 20:02:27
Many pet stores are cruel unfortunately.  I've heard from a couple peaple that if you want a cat or dog, go to a breader so you don't promote the pet stores... but then what about the poor animals there?  Don't ya think they need a better home more than some rich breader?  My girlfriend and I always get in this arguement.  She's one that says never go to a pet store.  It's pretty much a lose/lose situation.  Poor aminals (yes, aminals; that wasn't a spelling error)

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Pyramids
March 03, 2003, 17:03:31
WOW Rob, I can't wait till I have time to look over those sites in full detail!

I think I'm on a pyramid kick right now.  I'm obsessed right now about learning everything there is to know about them.  Hehe.

I watched that show last night.  They made up a fictional character that was one of the thousands of people that made the Great Pyramid of Giza, and showed how they (scientists, the Discovery Channel) thought the pyramid was built.  It was really interesting, but I have it feeling it wasn't totally correct because they never explained how the pieces of stone were geometrically PERFECT.  They said that they were just chizzeled out with copper tools, but I don't think a copper chizzel could make such perfect shapes.

The show said they lined up the pyramid with a spot in the sky that everything seems to rotate around.  The Egyptians thought that is where heaven is located, and if they made this pyramid for their king that it could be used as a device for him to ressurect (sp?) and return to the physical world, along with all those who helped build it (supposedly their reward for building it)

I THINK (I could be wrong, I have been once before...[;)]) that there is more to the pyramids that we do not know about yet.
I have heard what you said, Rob, that is was built by those who were able to escape from Atlantis before it was destroyed (same with other "ancient civilizations" that built such wonders).

If only we knew the truth...

I would still LOVE to hear any stories or experiences with pyramids in any travels (astral, or physical) and any other "rumors" about them.  I gotta satisfy my temporary (i hope!) obsession with pyramids somehow!!  [:P]

Hi Timeless

I've noticed the same with our cats, especially the young one (less than a year old.)
Sometimes during the day I try to meditate and raise energy.  I used to leave the door open, but the kitten would come in and start walking around the bed and on my chest.  So now I close the door, but I can still hear it outside the door trying to get in.  I think it knows when I'm trying to meditate and raise energy and wants to be around me when I'm doing it. [;)]

-Ethan

P.S. I think it was the Egyptians that regarded cats as highly spiritual beings and used them to protect themselves from evil.  I do think there is something about cats that is different than other pets.  Maybe the Egyptians were on to something?  Could it be possible that cats' souls vibrate at slightly higher levels than other pets and that's why they're attracted to meditation/energy raising?

Yeah I've done DXM a couple times.
The first time I did it, I did it alone and was having an awesome time listening to music and having all sorts of cool visuals, but then I peaked and I got really paranoid.  I thought I was going to die and no one was there to take me to the hospital if I needed to go.  It was pretty scary.  I tried to keep myself occupied so I wouldn't think about it.  As I was coming down I got really tired and just went to bed (but saw lots more cool stuff while I was laying down).
The 2nd or 3rd time I did it (I don't remember which it was because they happened on consecutive nights) me and my good friend went out to my car and smoked some weed too.  We came back, I put on some Pink Floyd music and I had one of the best trips of my life.  Unfortunately I don't remember ALL of it, but the best part I remember.  I was seeing all these visuals (with my eyes closed) and then I stated to see all these specs of light (like stars).  Then I started to fly past/through them.  It was like I was in hyperspace, in a "tunnel", flying past all these stars.  All of a sudden I stopped flying, but the stars kept moving.  It's hard to explain but it was really cool.  Then I noticed the "stars" were moving in patterns, not randomly.  They started from moving in what was like a 2d circle to a 3d sphere.  While the stars were changing their shape, my point of view started to change as well.  I think what happened was I was seeing in 3d vision, because I could see the entire sphere of stars around me.  I started asking myself "what does this mean" when a friend came in and asked me where my friend who took the DXM and smoked with was.  I think I was in the 3d blackness and if I had placed intent to go somewhere in the astral, I would have ended up there, but I didn't know anything or have any interest in AP at the time.
If you want to try it, make sure the bottle you get ONLY contains DXM.  Most kinds of Robotussin have other ingredients in it except for Robotussin Maximum Strength Cough. (I'm 95% sure that's what it's called) Just look on the back of the bottle before you buy it and make sure DXM is the only ingredient.
(oh, and TRY to get it all down at once, because it tastes so bad that if you don't get it all down, you won't want to drink the rest)[:D]

MJ doesn't like girls because boys are better than girls. [:P]
Wow, that reminded me of elementary school. [:)]
The reason I don't think he's a pedophile is because of he basically thinks he's still a kid himself.  Like Adrian said, he claims to be Peterpan.  So it makes sense that kids are the age type that he feels most comfortable with.  He does have problems, but I think they're more mental problems accepting his actual age rather than pedophiling (is that a word)? Plus if he was a pedophile, you would think more than 1 case would be charged against him with the amount of children that visit Neverland.

Anyways, I would like to say for the record that I was in the Cub/Boyscouts for a long time and made Life Scout (rank just below Eagle) before quitting.  During my time in the scouts, I never once heard of anything like that happening.  And I went to many camps where troops all over the country come together and I never once heard of it happening in another troop.  I think that it's a rumor that was probably started by some homophobic guy that loves nothing more than making fun of and bashing gay people.  I think we all know someone like that.  (I'm not saying you're one goingslow, I've heard that rumor many times before after mentioning I was in the Scouts)  I'm not saying people in Scouts are gay either.  [:D]  If anyone WAS gay in my troop, they did a good job keeping it from everyone has yet to go public with it.  I quit the Scouts because I was losing interest in it, as well as I didn't quite care for or agree with alot of religious aspects in the Scouts.

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Pyramids
February 28, 2003, 21:32:12
Hey all, I want to bring back this subject if possible.

First of all, what ever happened on that show you guys were talking about?  You never posted an update.  =)

Has anyone ran across pyramids (big or small) in their astral travels or meditations?  I've noticed that pyramids are commonly found in paintings/drawings of abstract/astral/visionary pieces of art.  Is there a greater purpose to them that we haven't discovered yet?  There's a belief out there that the civilizations that built pyramids were actually "advanced" civilizations that were in their decline.  Not neccessarily technologically advanced, but spiritually and scientifically.  If they were so advanced, you would think they would have left behind things that would prove that.  But it's also hard to believe that an almost primitive civilization could construct such architectual wonders.  I don't know.  I would really like to know more about them.

There's a show on either the discovery or history channel this Sunday on the Egyptian pyramids that might be interesting to watch.

Hi Tom, thanks for that informative post!
You're studying/interested in Vajrayana Buddhism, right?
What are some differences between Vajrayana, Theravada and Mahayana Buddhism?
Any good websites you know off hand would be nice too.

Thanks!

Did you know the Russians built enough biological weapons during the cold war to kill the world NINE times over?
Why they did that is not even known to the head scientist that was in charge of the project.  They just did.  Of course, they secretly did this even after they signed a treaty banning all biological weapons.  In fact, the USA is one of the main reasons biological weapons exist.  The pioneered the field for a while before they realized what they were getting into, and when the finally did realize how awfully powerful and cheap they are, they stopped making them and wrote up the treaty banning them.
I don't know if people know jut how devastating biological weapons are.  They're worse that nuclear weapons.  The initial blast is not as severe, but biological agents travel further than radiation.  Many many more people die overall in a biological attack than a nuclear attack.
One thing about biological attacks is the attacker can choose how they want their enemy to suffer.  Just find the disease or virus that most suits your taste and launch it.  So scary.  Most of these situations aren't even considering a contagious virus.  When you introduce a highly contagious virus like smallpox, the amount of damage a biological attack can do is on the verge of incomprehensibility.

LOL! It wouldn't happen to be a bottle of cough syrup would it...? haha! I did the same thing. It contains a substance called dextromethemphormine (DXM). and whoa was it ever an experience, best trip i've ever had so far, I could see whatever I wanted! It was great, I though I was about to project while meditating/raising energy, but nothing happened. Some people say it makes them spontaniously project and they also see aliens and stuff, heh. I could see my own stringy, sapy aura around my hands, too, playing with it like I did in elementary schools with Elmor's glue from hand to hand

[:D] Yep, it was Robotussin.  Robotussin Max Strength Cough to be exact... it's the only Robotussin that contains ONLY DXM which is the only kind of 'tussin you should take.  I've robo-tripped a couple times.  The last time I did it I had trouble getting and keeping it down though [V]

Has anyone here actually ever tried salvia divinorum?

Yeah Nibiru, that's the name.  Hehe, I've read similar things Brian.  Everything from it's actually a spaceship of evil (reptilian) aliens to it's a "living planet" with higher beings that are coming to help Earth reach the 5th dimension.

It's probably nothing but a big comet that will affect tides as it passes by, but we'll see what happens. [:P]

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Bush vs Saddam Debate
February 26, 2003, 10:41:56
Thanks Ender for that post.
It's so true.  This country is becoming less free every year.  Hell, in a couple years I bet China will be more of a free nation than us.  The government has been slowly taking away our freedoms with stupid laws and no one really cares.  They figure the government knows best.  Um, no they don't.  The PEOPLE know best.  We don't elect them to do whatever THEY want without our approval, we elect them to pass laws WE want.  What's even worse is now the WHOLE DAMN ELECTIONS aren't even pure.  So basically take the Declaration of Independece and Bill of Rights and just wipe your butt with them.  That's what this country is coming to, and I'd say about 3/4 of the country doesn't even notice.  If we can't even get a fair election process, why even bother?  I didn't vote in the last election because I didn't register in time, but I wouldn't have voted for Gore or Bush, they're both morons, but atleast Gore didn't try to cheat to win (that we know of).

Ugh... Maybe Tibet will let me join their nice peaceful community.  So many less worries.  [;)]

Welcome to Astral Chat! / Bush vs Saddam Debate
February 25, 2003, 18:27:46
I'm not questioning whether or not Saddam is evil or not.  Clearly he is and I've heard of many horrible things about him including some of what you said.

Like I said before, Saddam SHOULD be removed.  I just don't think we're going about it the right way.  No need to alienate ourselves from the rest of the world just because we attack him a month or so too early.
#50
Now I'm confused.  I thought the storage center was a chakra...
What's the difference between the storage center and the naval chakra?
