However, IMO the lightness is probably the light of your own consciousness in an exalted form, "brightly lit" experienced in "otherness" or "outsideness".
It's a little bit difficult to say more, since you stayed in it only shortly and the atmosphere is lacking, and I'm assuming it was not a stroboscopic, short term effect associated with sudden change in consciousness (light flashes common there).
But like you, I would also be intrigued by it.
