I think it's just a cratered hill.

I think you're right.

Thread over.  :-(

Might as well remove this topic, please :-)

did you know that nasa alter all there images that are made public to edit out the blue skys ,green algie, and to add red everywhere to make it look un inhabitable

This is apparently true-they even alter some of the mars probe images to hide certain details.I read that when NASA first saw images from Mars in the 1970's, someone went around to all the monitors, changing them from normal colors, to red.Someone went around turning them all back again, & was threatened w/being fired if he ever did that again. These days their agenda seems to be to ignore & deny.

Phasor-Thank you for posting that picture-that's it, definately! Look at the perfect symmetry on both sides, & the lines on the end.Fascinating. How did you get it that big, w/out it just turning to pixels? :?

It's a great close-up.There's no way that is a natural formation.Yesterday, I took the MSSS image & looked at it closer using Microsoft Word.Upon reversing the contrast (by accident), I noticed a perfectly square formation just to the right of whatever the image above is-lots of 90 degree angles, definately. It looks like a complex of some sort. Can you find this one? Look for a square to the right of it.

I think you're talking about this...

http://www.mars-earth.com/dm/

This has been the topic of conversation for many years.

It's not that one-the "pyramid" is in Cydonia, this is in Casius (Northeast of the Cydonia).

If I could enlarge the image, I could show you what I mean.

To me, it just doesn't have a natural look to it-it's too symmetrical on both sides, & it has too many "architectural" features (3 "dots" same size on top, spaced out evenly, lines running off both directions of each dot, creating even segments, straight lines running off one end, perfectly spaced, perfect symmetry on both sides of curved triangular form...).

Perfect symmetry just doesn't happen on mountains, not to this degree. :|

enlarge the image using the arrows on the bottom of the image.Look about 6/7ths of the way down the image swath, near the bottom left side. There's what appears to be a perfectly symmetrical building... or something.Whatever it is, it looks unmistakably architectural, & must be HUGE.It looks almost like a curved triangle w/3 dots on top,& lines on one end.

I hope you can find it!

It made me do this:  :-o :?

Can anyone enlarge it, & post the image of it? I'm on a public computer, & don't know how. :-(

Here's one.It happened a few yrs ago:

I read an astral pulse article about auric vision techniques somewhere.I was at a local mall one day, & decided that it was a good place to try it.

I relaxed on a big soft chair, & started by raising energy, & stimulating the chakras, w/emphasis on the brow.I started looking at people (around them, actually), & started seeing "air distubances", light/dark areas, & fleeting colors-mainly around the head area.I could see a vortex on the top of the head, in different sizes, which I interpret as the crown chakra.

Then, an old woman walks RIGHT UP TO ME.She stood right next to me.She was holding a small child.

Then she said to the child she was holding- "Jason, do you see the light? Do you see the light, Jason?".

She just stood there for a few minutes, then walked away.

Very Interesting and disturbing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tell me how successful are you and how long it took you to learn AP????

I've been projecting on & off for about 16 years, (& still feel kinda like a beginner).Initially, when I was about 15, I think it took me about two weeks between first trying to project, & actually succeeding.I've been going through a LONG dry spell (months) for the past little while-I don't always succeed in projecting when I try to.

I have trouble projecting to the RTZ when I want to. :?

I started out w/Robert Monroe's technique in "Journeys out of the Body" (not exactly like it).I projected out, & flew into the sky.It was supposed to be a 100% chance of rain, but in the OBE the sky was sunny w/cumulus clouds here & there, & when I woke up & looked out the window, that's EXACTLY how it was-no overcast skies, & no rain at all.I really wasn't expecting this! Anyhow, I flew around for a few minutes, having a great time seeing the snow covered foothills below, & flying around the clouds. Then I flew into space, aiming for the moon, which was off to my right.I went way too fast, &  overshot it somehow.I looked back to find the Earth & make my way back, but it was gone-I was totally lost in deep space, so I ended the OBE.

Then I had an astral projection, & an unfortunate incident w/an OBE "hitchhiker" clinging to my back.It had me in a cage of some sort & was siphoning energy out of my head!

It took me a long time to get out of the projection.I fought to wake up for at least 5-10 minutes, & woke up tired. :x

Great experience overall.I tried again this morning, but nothing happened.

Wow, that was really interesting

A couple of yrs ago I had a dream that the year was 1875.I was walking down an arched tunnel of some kind, then got SHOT IN THE BACK OF THE HEAD!

It didn't hurt, but it was incredibly jarring :-o
#35
WOW!

I remember seeing something similar in Mcleans (sp?) magazine about 10 yrs ago (maybe the same artist, maybe not).It was a huge hole in the ground that was a gateway to hell. There were demons coming out of it, & people falling into it.

Is that the name of the artist, in the link -J.Beever?

Quote from: MisterJingoIf I remember words from dreams I usually Google them . Most of the time nothing interesting comes up though .

Try googleing "mars orion enigma"

If this stuff is supposed to be a secret, I think it's out!

It was buried under a huge sloping plateau that was flat ontop, under millennia of martian dust storms & wind blowing dust onto & into it.

I think it was called "Elbys" or "Eblys" or something.

I've never been into drugs.I've tried cannibis once-it didn't do anything for me.I smoked hash once, & got dizzy for ten minutes.

I prefer natural highs-it's all in the mind anyways, you just have to dig for it.

I'm a high mach-75/100.

I'm actually a really nice guy, but I can be real bastard if I need to.

Quote from: Major Tom

Could potentially be the seed for obtaining a wider overview of these areas of consciousness(es).

This is what I'm thinking
#42
Quote from: Major TomI'm not sure about Atmic. It is a term of the theosophists of a century ago who in turn borrowed it from some Indian and Hindu religions, and too much has been lost in the translation to really get to the original experience of those very few who experiencied it.

However, IMO the lightness is probably the light of your own consciousness in an exalted form, "brightly lit" experienced in "otherness" or "outsideness".

It's a little bit difficult to say more, since you stayed in it only shortly and the atmosphere is lacking, and I'm assuming it was not a stroboscopic, short term effect associated with sudden change in consciousness (light flashes common there).

But like you, I would also be intrigued by it.

Fascinating-Thanks!

Keep in mind that the vibrations aren't strictly neccessary to separate.I used to get them, very violent at first, but over the years the vibrational rate increased to a kind of warmth, & now I don't get any vibrations at all when I project.

I wouls say that it's best to try & separate whenever it feels most natural to do so, or if you're not sure, just try at different times during the vibrations. The worst that can happen is that you won't separate.
#44
hmm, I guess you could put it that way

Quote from: RooJVery interesting, were you lucid during this?

info on Ion drives:
http://nmp.nasa.gov/ds1/tech/ionpropfaq.html

RooJ

I was lucid-although in varying degrees. At the beginning I was only slightly lucid, & by the end, I was fully lucid.Especially when I was looking out over the ocean, & talking w/the others, telling them I was projecting.

Thanks for the link!

I've looked at that website, & it seems that the ion thrusters on their planet would have to have been refined far,far beyond our current technology.

very interesting, & I would like to go back.I thought of a very interesting idea-it would be cool if I could project to the planet again, & take over the body of a local again. Then I would use an ion thruster to fly back to earth to my house, & enter my own body.I would then have one of their ion thrusters!

Not sure what I'd do w/the alien body.He probably wouldn't appreciate me taking over his body & flying away w/it

When I first started projecting, upon the exit from my body,  I automatically ended up in the 'real-time zone', but now, I automatically end up in the astral. Not only that, but the infamous 'vibrations' started out very rough, w/a slow sweep, & then sped up over the years. They got so fast that they became a 'warmth', & now I don't even get the warmth anymore-I just cross the borderline state (kind of difficult sometimes), walk away from my body, & I'm in the astral.

I haven't a clue why it worked that way though. :scratchy:

Interesting replies-thanks

jalef-If it was 'just'  an astral realm of pure light, I'd be happy w/that :rolling: .

kiwibonga-I actually remember reading something like that myself.I'll keep that in mind. :skull:

It's wierd that I can't stop thinking about that projection, even though it was a couple of yrs ago now.Of course, it was a pretty stange projection, but then again, they're all like that

I usued to float out,  get disoriented, & have problems moving, but now I just walk away from my body  .It took a long time (about 10 yrs, for me!) for me to be able to do that.Maybe some people find it easier at first, but it was very confusing for me.
#49
I used the technique  of waking up earlier than usual, then deep relaxation meditation & energy work.I worked on my heart chakra mainly. Then I crossed the borderline state quite easily (I wish it was this easy all the time!).I walked away from my body, & had to really focus & concentrate on getting away from my body, so I wouldn't be pulled back.My vision cleared, & the feeling of being in '2 places at once' lessened as I got furthur away from my body. I easily flew through several 'walls' that seemed to be dimensional barriers.

I came to a huge city w/many tall buildings.I explored it's alleys & passages for a minute or two.I then came to a large group of people. There was a younger person to the side of the group (looked like a boy of about 12 yrs approx).I looked at the group of people, & asked what was going on.He said ( I forget the first part)"...some of these people are minded, & some aren't.Some have bodies & some don't".I thought "wow, look at all these projectors", not understanding the situation. I said "I have a body".He said "That's good"

After that my concious stability started to waver, & I ended up back in my body.

Upon recollection, when he said "some have bodies, some don't". I get the feeling that he mean't that they have bodies planned out for them, not that they are projecting.

To me, it sounds like focus 27 (for want of better term of the city), where life planning & arranging takes place, but I'm not sure. What do you think?
#50
jalef- I was only there for (literally) about one second, so I'm not sure if there was a specific state of conciousness associated w/the place, because I didn't have time to experience anything-it was just really bright.

Sepultura123-I was actually in the astral realms,& the white light was the substance of the place itself, although I do visualize white light around & within me sometimes during meditation.

Kiwibonga- Dang, I need to get back there, & see what it is. I tried to get back there from a lucid dream into the astral dimensions recently-I was close to the edge (note to self-Yes song reference)of a cliff, & I crawled to the edge & looked over. There was an incredibly deep sky below me.At first I was afraid, but then I thought "wait a minute, I can fly. There's nothing to be afraid of", so I jumped off the cliff, trying to get beyond the sky & back to the realm of light. The sky started to sparkle w/specks of white light, but I couldn't get any furthur than that.
