Anyone have any input as to what is a productive experience in the astral? rather then flying around, exploring and meeting people in the astral.
Lately i have been trying to work on concentration and longevity, so that one day i can have longer and more spiritual experiences. I think i have a problem with creativity when it comes to obe because i have been finding it more difficult lately to think of new things to do.
I was just wondering what people consider to be a productive obe, any comments appreciated!

What could take an hour, does take but a fraction of that with Hemi-Sync.
As per my last postHemi-sync was never created with the intention the CD would produce an OBE. The CDs contains various BB's which have been researched to produce specific mental states. The binaural beats entrain the brainwaves and give exercises to attach physical triggers to these mental states. It's a technique used in many areas of mental manipulation, one example being hypnotism. Your brain associates a given exercise to a given trigger, and so in future, that trigger produces the mental state without the need of the CD. It's simply a way of saving spending 50 minutes reaching a specific trance level, allowing you to achieve that state in a matter of moments.
People who use the CDs thinking the exercise itself will create an OBE will be severely disappointed. Hemi-sync was invented to not act as a crutch, but to create triggers to previously entrained states.

I've just been introduced to phasing by interviewing "knightlight". The interview is up on my site. I think the concept is valid. One thing I've been doing for so many years, litterally, is focusing on my body, awaiting the vibrations. Because all of my focus was on my body, of course I could not project.
With phasing, as I understand it, you totally relax, then focus your attention on the blackness in front and all around you. That is where your attention goes. No focus on the physical body. From there you wait for hypnogogic imagery to appear. When that happens you are in the right stage to begin what is know as the run-down. That means a typical activity you enjoy. Like for me I imagine myself swinging on a swing. Now the way it works is, your attention is so focused on this new scene that you fall right into it, as if it was a lucid dream. It will be that real.
Well I'm working on practising it so I'll keep you posted here.

It's the same as the fear a child has of the dark.
See if this helps:
Find a room that you can black out and that has a mirror , like the bathroom after nightfall.
Stand in the dark and look into the mirror, take note of your feelings, and if you have unjustifiable fear, then practice dispelling it.
When I was a kid, I didn't have a bedside lamp, so I'd flip the light switch on the wall and do a running leap into the bed and under the covers.
Now I enjoy walking throught the forest at night in the dark.
