evil is necessary because without it we wouldn't be able to grow stronger and progress would stop.

There are many questions like these. The answers would bring you a lot closer to the truth. The good is the resulting force created from a certain purpose, choice and perception of the self. We preserve it because only this force can move us in the direction we have to go. If we gave into evil we would be trapped as we are and even break down into lower forms of being.
The end that good aims towards is unknown, but we know in ourselves that there is something to move towards...and until we get there, we won't know what to do next. Is there even an end we are moving towards, or just something that is constantly growing or is unreachable?

good is as vulnerable to evil as evil is vulnerable to good. on a physical level people can be influenced by either very easily due to the choices they make.
good is not weak!
putting it in terms of light and dark:
no matter how much darkness surrounds the soul as long as there is a spec of light then the darkness can not win. Light and dark are both very powerful forces but work in different ways. Light may seem weak when compared to darkness, but that is just because it's power works in a different way to darkness.

sorry to put it like that, some people get all roudy when i use good and evil as light and dark...but u get my point.

if under mental or spiritual threat in the astral you get yanked back into your body so fast you don't yell until u suddently wake up in ur bed and go AH!!

.....It was a fools statement. Opinions mean a great deal. That much is clear to the average joe.

2. laws of nature don't think silly...i don't plan on telling gravity anything. Gravity and everything else are forces you could ignore if you wanted to. Basically everything on this physical plane is given meaning by our opinions and theories...something only seems undeniably true because you think it is.

yeah i understand its astral projection but its still people just imagining something once they astral project.
doesnt matter how many people imagine it...
if we all focused on it we'd all create seperate ones for ourselves, it's not as simple to do as is desired haha. the biggest reason its so hard to transport urself to a meeting point in the astral. also the main reason people think meeting others is not possible...

a small example...knife crime in my area is the highest in the country or something close to that...and even though i'm not getting stabbed, if i'm ever about the town with my friends we face confrontation.

i would much rather go about the town with nothing going on rather then my life being threatened haha.
just because something is not bad does not mean it is boring, i rather enjoy peace, and i find fun without someone getting hurt much more satisfying.

it is true both are needed for us to exist...but this has nothing to do with if there was only evil we would destroy ourselves and if there was only good we would get bored...it is because if life was perfect it would be too easy, and we would not face the appropriate challenges we need to grow and learn about our selves. life would be great constantly, and we would not learn anything from it, life would be in a repetitive and motionless loop. And if it was all evil, we would not be able to grow from our experiences because we theres is so much bad going on it would be overwhelming and we would not be allowed to break free as there would be nothing to break free to.

these days evil and such seem to have the upperhand though...progress is difficult for me, and i take any good i can and indulge in it, bonding me to this material plane through desperation because that good is so rare to find i cling to it. not much of a balance goin on rele...sort tht out...

negs hahaha, i like that term. and very good description of what its like when you enter the astral. It is rather amazing, when i first did it i believed for a moment i was actually floating physically haha but then i realized it was my astral =) woo.

some would defy you to say one thing that is true and not just an opinion (by that i mean a matter of perception, theory, or "fact" which we can't be sure of anyway)

i however would not challenge you to this...but i will say that saying "opinions don't mean anything" is a fools statement.

and i heard that people never thought the world was flat at all, it's just because maps of the earth were flat in history so historians later presumed they thought the world was flat...but i can't be sure on that...so go easy on me on that one.

i know of this state, though i believed it was an incomplete state, only complete once enlightenment is attained. It's a special feeling, hopefully i can experience it totally one day =)

you assume i do not know unconditional love? i have unconditional love for a person and i know it well, and as for the mass murderer i wouldn't feel the need to punish him either. The action is evil and like you i would try to stop it, but i would not punish the murderer for it.. It's not my place! If that same mass murderer later in life was in a situation where i could save his life, then i would. Like i said it's the end balance that is judged, i can't let past actions alter my ability to do the right thing, which is to save a human life, no matter what acts it has comitted.

it should be pointed out that this doesnt happen blindly, only once the evil deserves to be forgiven once it ha suffered enough or until it makes up for it with repentance and continuation of good actions.

i disapprove of the action, not the person, like i said i was wrong to say that the action makes the person evil conclusively. I do well not to degrade a human beings worth..

be mindful of what your so sure of, in this case what seemed obvious to you was totally wrong.

i was wrong to say that after commiting an evil act then it is concluded that person is evil. I may not be able to judge the person without it being just my own perception, but i can judge the act and it will remain true enough. Are you saying that the soul is incapable of judgment due to it's unconditional love? or just the factor of unconditional love itself?
because i would correct you by saying that the soul judges itself after it's life has ended as to determine it's next steps.

i totally see your point and i agree with what your saying. This all started with my simple error of saying the person is evil and not just the action. Perhaps because of this you misjudged my disposition on this subject =P. Which is fair enough.

Yet again i point out that my original point still stands, EVIL EXISTS! XD...i think we have moved onto a different topic now altogether, and i believe that has been resolved and agreed on aswell =).

ah yes i believe they are so rare because it is difficult to maintain realtime projection due to stray thoughts and feelings...so for two people to maintain it and meet would be difficult.
As me and my friend do much meditation to keep our minds as quiet as possible when we need them to be and as we have experienced the astral enough times so that it no longer overwhelms us so easily we have managed to meet up on quite a number of occasions. My longest experience with him was about 10 minutes long i estimate..
I guess it is a rare case for two people living near eachother to have the ability to maintain a projection long enough to meet up, but yes we've managed it =).

haha well then as an insomniac i name that condition the exception to the rule. But it's likely our friend here has relatively normal sleeping patterns without any conditions, if i'm wrong about that i laugh at myself! haha.

you know the best place i find to project? in a forest or a field on a bright sunny day on the grass...feels great!

Don't sweat it, it's good that you have continued to grow in your experiences and knowledge in life, of that i applaud you! =). haha you really remind me of me...i just hope that a few months from now i don't look back at my recent posts and slap my forehead again =P

ah well i actually told the story of how me and my friend first met in another topic on this forum =).
Basically when i projected accidentally during sleep he was there and said that i'd been floating there for ages like i was in a trance thats why he stuck around coz he thought i was out but just being stupid haha...when i awoke the next day i didnt say anything to him incase it was just a dream, but it was HIM that mentioned it to me. I asked him to tell me what happened as if i didn't remember and he told me perfectly what had happened thus verifying it XD.

To meet someone in the astral you both have to sucessfully project into the astral and be able to view the physical world without stray thoughts pulling you away from real time projection into a self created astral pool.
Some people say it is not possible to pull someone into the astral, i however disagree! my friend has pulled me out on many occasions while i slept because back in the day i was not as accomplished at projecting as he was. The only downside to pulling someone else out is that they rarely remember it, out of about ten times my friend pulled me out i only remembered 3 and it was only bits and pieces.
I meet up with my friend often, so much so that it has become common practice for us, we no longer doubt its reality yet we still check we had the same experience, sometimes i recall the events sometimes he does but yes they are always accurate =).
I can't explain it but the astral feels different from a dream anyway, when your there you'll know it's not a dream, so even if your friend doesnt remember then if it felt like the astral you can rest assured it was! =)

Who knows, hypothetically the person that murders a bunch of kids for fun might be forgiven by the parents of those kids and turn around to become a decent person who might actually accomplish something with his life if he were given the chance. What I'm trying to say is that you just don't know all the different outcomes or determinants in a situation so don't judge it, but see it for what it is in the moment.

hypothetically maybe, but by looking at it as you said for what it is in the moment, then that person would be considered evil. And undoubtedly the action itself is evil thus proving my original point that evil exists. Throughout life that man may do many good and evil actions (yet again proving my point that evil and good exist) but it is the end balance between the two types of actions that his soul is judged on when he passes. But of course we cannot know what that end balance will be, so when a man commits mass murder, we see it for what it is in the moment like you said which is evil.

still it's simple psychology. After years of sleeping in a bed your mind has conditioned itself to effectively shut down when you relax in your bed thus making it harder to stay in the focused state required for projection.

when in bed the mind is more likely to fall asleep along with the body, i find it better to attempt astral projection anywhere BUT in bed if i want a fully concious and controlled projection.. =)

for one, like everything, this is just a theory. it is not known for certain, but as it backs up your fears it seems more real to you, mainly because of the way you are looking at it.

think about it...the REM state is connected with astral projection, why is it that these REM intrustions are triggered when you are close to death? why isn't anything else in the brain triggered? When dreaming and you are in the REM state, if you became aware of your dream you could ever so EASILY project into the astral and out of your body. In my opinion, the reason the REM intrustions are triggered is because you are quickly entering the optimal state for your spirit to leave your body right before death, for once your brain is dead, it can't dream, so all that can be done is for your concious spirit to be released. If you are brought back to life from this then your spirit gets sucked back in and you have just had what is known as a near death experience, you thought you were dying, so your spirit was released by that triggered state, but you werent, so you came back! This of course can't be proven, but the scientific theory can't be proven either, it's all down to what feels right to you. Look at it without fear and you will see there could be many reasons for this state to be triggered, maybe not what i said, maybe not what the scientists said...maybe it has no significance at all! pure speculation, that is all.

Every human soul is made in this image, it is the physical mind that holds and tempts the darkness, our souls are just like God, our true selves are light and in them holds no darkness. and if they do, it is because they have been exposed to negative forces, something that would never happen to god way up where "he" is.

secondly, we are most definitely not unimportant, we are extremely important, maybe not to the huge workings of this physical universe, but if you think outside the box we are!

these types of discussion raise much debate, there are many different opinions on things such as this so the result of all of this could just be endless debate and disagreement, maybe...=)
