An OBE or a False Awakening: What's the Difference
Copyright © 2002 D. E. Berry Jr.

"If im tired for a week, or im exhausted one morning, i wake up twice. This morning, i remember seeing my body, but yet again i only woke up with the memory..."

"I remember getting up, like a pushup, and looking at the time, it said 6:30am. I hit the button to set the alarm and it still said 6:30 so i thought something was wierd, then i hear in the Background "Jonathan, JONATHAN!" My grandma was yelling at me to wake up and at the second i flew down and woke up."

"Was this an obe or a false awakening?"

Where these OBEs or false awakenings? The answer is... both! A false awakening is an out-of-body experience in which you leave the body, not knowing you did. You have still left the body though. When you pushed up to check the time you had left your body on the bed. You WERE out-of-body! You just didn't know it. I used to do this all the time as a kid, determined to get up and urinate and not wet myself. I was determined to get up and use the restroom when 'I' had too, and did, but still woke up in the morning wet. Sometimes I couldn't get the light to work, or the environment looked strange, and I always still woke up wet, flabbergasted knowing that I had gotten up and went. I was getting up from my body without knowing it- as you are doing in these cases.

The memory of seeing your body is a valid memory of a legitimate experience. I suggest that you get into the habit of reality checking each time you wake up, especially when the conditions are right, as you named them. Look on the bed for your body, see if you can float, see if you can put your hand through the bed, etc. You'll then find yourself in one of these false awakening episodes and come to know it, and can then carry on as if you projected consciously.

Rock & Roll

Next time try rolling to the side, as if you are about to roll over in bed. Roll to the wall so that if you take your body with you, you don't roll off of the bed. From the sounds of it you were there. If the first roll doesn't get it all at once, just rock back and use the momentum to roll back again. Keep rocking until you can roll over and you are free. Got it? Let me know.

GOOD SHOW!!! To dream about OBE certainly shows dedication. You'll be waking-to-OBE in not time.

Good day...

Visions

It could be the start of nonphysical perception and travel. I get visions on my way to a projection. Next time you are nice and relaxed and you see them clearly, try sitting up out of your body.

We are Consciousness!

That is a good suggestion amcturbo had. Those could have been energy beings, and that was my first impression while reading the post. Wonder why you had no arms and legs? I experienced the same thing. I'm for sure I was OBE, yet I was just a point or area of consciousness.

You can use your intent and make for yourself a nonphysical body by feeling for one. FEEL for your arms and legs; something like how you would do when tactilely using rope. A body will just pop into place- at least that is how it worked for me. Try it.
