Welcome to Dreams! / Dreaming of OBE
July 06, 2006, 17:57:30
I had a dream the other night that was quite simple. I have been trying to have an OBE for the past month I believe but have not had much success. Here is what happened in my dream, it was not very clear to me when I woke up.

All I can remember from the dream is that I knew concentrating on one thing while dreaming is a way to bring yourself to have an OBE. I concentrated on my right hand and just stared at it. After staring at it in my dream it was like I zoomed in on my hand and I started traveling through a tunnel and with much force. This was very quick and after coming through this "tunnel" I landed on my feet right next to my bed. This is when I awoke. Could anyone explain what is going on here?

I have tried to search the forum to find out exactly what vibrations are. Sometimes when I am laying in my bed trying to OBE a party of my body will start to shake very badly, and I end up stopping it. Usually my head is what shakes back and forth quite fast.

I am not sure if vibrations are mental or something your physical body actually does.

Well there is a song by Nicklas Brannstrom called Astral Projections. But there are no lyrics. If you want to give it a listen check it out here.. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=24847940

Welcome to Dreams! / Lucid Dream Last Night..
June 27, 2006, 14:57:42
Last night I was using my brainwave generator before I fell asleep. I used a preset that is suppose to give you vibrations and I believe it worked very well but I could not keep focus. 20 Minutes using that thing just flew by very fast and I felt tingling through out my whole body. I am not sure if it was vibrations or not but I would guess it was. Anyways after I stopped listening to that I put on a Lucid dream one for while I slept. I could not fall asleep with it on so I threw off my headphones and went to sleep. I was woken up a few hours later and then went back to sleep to have my lucid dream.

The dream lasted a pretty long time but in the beginning I believe it was the most Lucid. I was in my backyard where most of my lucid dreams seem to take place. I just flew as high as I could and kept getting higher and higher...  I was very high and I think I was about to get into space! I got scared and came back down.. Anyways my question is what happens if you fly all the way into space? Anything special? I need to read up on converting a Lucid dream into an Astral Projection.

Welcome to Dreams! / Pretty Disgusting Dream..

Not a very long one.. I was somewhere not sure where but I don't think it is relevant. My mother was there with me, I'd say it was my house but I am not sure. For some reason I had to stick this not very wide tube down my throat. After doing this I would begin to cough up tons and tons of mucus. Anyone want to help with explaining this.

Astral Projection - We seem to have the same exact problem. I can NEVER fall asleep on my back unless I am so tired I am passing out. And usually I will end up waking up after dozing off for a few on my back and roll over. I usually sleep on my stomach with my legs all spread out and a pillow over my head.

I am hoping to pick up a meditating book soon.

IndigoRains - I am going to try that technique tonight. Thanks for posting!

Astral Projection - that is SAME EXACT THING that happens to me! haha Damn I thought there might have been something wrong with me. As soon as I get relaxed and I am laying on my back my eyes always open just a little bit.

"The struggle with paternal authority or power within oneself is often represented as the devil. If we change our code of conduct, we may meet the devil because we release the previously unlived area of self"

Welcome to Dreams! / money dream
June 15, 2006, 00:22:56
Maybe this can help you figure out what your dream was about. This is from a book I own called, "Dream Dictionary".

Here is only a little bit about what holding onto money means in a dream.

Holding onto money: feeling insecure, or being 'tight' emotionally or sexually.

The only part of my body I am having a tough time relaxing is my eyes. As long as I am breathing I always seem to feel the need to blink them. Even while I am laying in the bed in the dark and have my eyes shut. It is hard to explain but even when my eyes are closed my body makes the action of blinking. How can I overcome this?

Quote from: SS_PatrickActually, I think that drug users are weak and inferior people.

Watch that ego Patrick - statements such as yours have a tendency to come back and slap you right in the face.

I won't regret anything I wrote. In these times it's "cool" and "trendy" to use drugs. Many people suffer because of that attitude. I knew that kind of people and drugs have ruined their lives. Unfortunately many people glorify drug using, and that trend also manifests itself in reality; young kids think that it's cool to use drugs and start using them.

In my circle of close people, we all share very negative attitude against drugs and I won't change my opinions on that matter. In fact, when I was younger, if there had been drug users, they would have been beaten properly. (not by me but there were several persons, who'd have done that). I will teach my children to despise drug users.

Do you take aspirin for your headaches? You are now a drug user.

kiwibonga - thank you for that reply. Tonight I was feeling very relaxed an able to concentrate on the darkness. But when I do this my eye lids to not flutter like I am concentrating too hard on something. My eye lids always feel like I MUST OPEN THEM or my eyes just bug out. I do not know why but I must open them and it is pretty hard to fall asleep when this is always happening.

-- edit

I believe it is hard for me to keep my eyes closed when this happens is because my body is not tired and doesn't want to sleep yet. so this is my new post...

kiwibonga - thank you for that reply. Tonight I have come to the conclusion that I must work on my concentration. What are good ways to develop concentration? Tonight I believe I learned I can not fall asleep unless I am actually tired. I was doing your breathing exercise you posted and I would begin to feel it. Can not explain really but I guess you just know? I tried multiple times and a few times I would get the tingly sensation in my fingers after losing my concentration. While I would try to concentrate a few things would lead me away from my concentration.

The first thing that would happen with my eyes closed is that they would always try to open themselves, and when this happened I would lose my concentration.

When I try to concentrate with my eyes open the room would begin to fade and I could begin to picture the energy coming into my body, spreading out very quickly, and then leaving. But after a little bit I will out of the blue have to blink because my eyes are dried out.

Hello to all out there on this forum! I am going to be looking through the many posts on this site and hopefully commenting on some. I am not experienced in any OBEs or astral projections, just learning. I have always been very interested in my dreams and the dreams of others. I love it when people tell me about one of their dreams (especially if I am in it) and I love telling others about my dreams. Recently I have been experimenting with the  program, "Brainwave Generator". I hope that this can help bring me to a point to Astral Project.

I am looking for ways to help myself. I am a very self conscious person and do not have very much confidence. I have social anxiety and it really stinks  :dont-know: . I have trouble concentrating on one thing and random thoughts always seem to pop into my head. I am hoping I can overcome these sad traits of mine and become a more well rounded person :)

Hope to see you on the other side :)

kiwibonga - I have an almost impossible time not getting the jittery eye lids while I concentrate on something hard. How can I train myself not to look at the darkness behind my eyelids?
