Nick,

I noticed you asked a question about the Qlink in that Pendulum thread. Well, I've posted a message in that thread describing how I made the pendulum and my opinions.

The Qlink certainly didn't seem to affect it in any negative way. Within 2 minutes of making the pendulum, my subconscious was making it swing exactly as I predicted it would do for the test/control questions.

Hey again,

I just asked it if I would have a lucid dream tonight, and it said yes! My subconscious controls whether I have a lucid dream, and my subconscious reckons I'll become lucid tonight! Bang on!

I'll let you know tomorrow if it came true.

Hi all!

I've been having a go at the pendulum stuff. I got a lump of bluetack (about as much as you need to stick one corner of a poster to the wall) and a 9 inch length of sewing thread.

I am amazed at how accurate it is at picking up known answers, i.e. is my name .....? am I 22? am I 103? do I live in ....?

I asked it some questions I reckon I know the answers to, but wanted to know if my subconscious had anything else to say. I.e. Am I gay? I wanted it to say no, and it did say no. But I'm wondering if that happened because I hoped it would say no, and I was worried what would happen if it said yes.

Also, something I'm ticked off about is when I asked it - 'Should I carry on making music?' it said no. Thing is I really enjoy doing that, although certain aspects of it to tinkle me off. I rephrased it - 'should I give up making music'. It said yes.

It's very intriguing.

Nick,

Perhaps it IS an alien controlled device, and the aliens are in fact a bunch of evil capitalists [8D]. They're making us spend all our money on their devices so they can make a quick buck from the human race.

You want to buy the alarm clock, I want to buy the Ally. Yet neither of us can conclusively say that the way we are feeling is due to our Qlink pendant!

Bizarre [:D]

Any more feedback on the Qlink? Must say I'm feeling pretty good at the moment, but that could be because I've secured a job (haven't started yet) so will not have to worry about money any more.

I can't say for sure that I'm feeling better cos of the Qlink, but I'm wearing it all the time now.

Now I'll have regular money coming in, I'm going to get the Ally when I can afford it. Inguma - how are your grandparents doing with the Ally?

I wonder if you can wear the pendant and use the Ally at the same time?

Regards,

Hi,

I don't have an answer for you - I would like an explanation of buzzing cheeks as well...

I had this feeling when I was doing some stuff with crystals, and I wondered why it was my cheeks (on my face[;)]) that felt this sensations and nowhere else.

Ah, Frank - that's a bit too rational... Let's try and get a conspiracy theory going here...[;)]

Well, I thought I'd let you know it's completely cleared up now. I went back to the doctor and he told me it was an eczematic (sp?) infection and gave me some new cream.

However, I am still taking heed of the dairy warning. I now only drink semi-skimmed milk on my breakfast cereal, and the rest of the time I drink orange juice. This could have helped as well with clearing it up. I have noticed I feel a lot less tired than I did when I was drinking two pints of skimmed a day.

I guess that goes to show - everything in moderation!

Robert,

Have you got any experience with the Q link yourself? IT would be interesting to know what you think

Some of us on this board have them and our experiences with them are on the following thread:

Nick,

I did a search for Robert Bruce posts mentioning 'q link' and I found the one you are referring to. I notice it was posted yesterday. I wonder if he read our posts about it and then investigated it himself. Or maybe he has experience of using it and it's just coincidence that this was the first time he mentioned it.

The fact is, there are a hell of a lot of frauds in mediumship. I mean that old woman from that Glasgow spiritualist church did the most blatant example of coldreading I have ever seen in my life! Also, that incredibly cheesy first guy we saw - the one who said he'd never done one-to-one readings. The reason for that is so that he can have a large audience where anything he says will be picked up on by at least someone!

However, some of the things the other mediums did seemed to come out very well, i.e. that Christmas Cottage bit and getting the name Alan. So, it could be that there are some genuine mediums, but the fact there are some frauds means they all get tarred with the same brush.

Having said that, there was nothing on the program that Derren Brown or any halfway decent mentalist couldn't have done.

Another thing worth mentioning is that just because they may be cold-reading rather than using any genuine psychic ability, they do appear to be offering a valuable service to grieving relatives. If they believe it is genuine, it can genuinely help heal emotional pains for people.

James S,

You said:
quote:
As to the chakras, despite R.B.'s comments about not rushing into the primary energy centres, I learned how to open and work with the 7 main chakras long before learning anything about the secondary system. Once I did learn about the secondary system though, I found that my work with the primary chakras became much more effective.

That's exactly what I thought. I've seen tonnes of information about opening the 3rd eye on the internet, and the only place where I've seen a warning about it is by Robert Bruce.

I have great respect for Robert Bruce and believe he is saying this in our best interest, but as most people who try to see auras won't have heard about RB, surely this indicates there isn't that great a problem having a go at opening the third eye, as a lot more people would complain about the exercises. As I said in a previous post, I have been doing NEW for a month now, so am not completely unfamiliar with it.

Timeless,

OK - thanks for your advice. Think I'll wait. Although I'll probably never stick with doing NEW for six months... [:(]

OK - slightly OT, but what do you reckon about those bioresonant shirts. I mention them in this thread, because the website that sells them is run by the same person who made the Freedom of Choice pdf. Hence, if you think these shirts are a con, surely it raises questions about his credibility as an author. If, on the other hand you are so impressed by the PDF, does that automatically validate the shirts in your opinion?

Brace yourselves for some extreme bad fashion sense:

http://bioresonant.com/

Jeebus! Even if they are good for your aura, I reckon they would do more harm to your general health because you would get beaten up everywhere you go!

The things that makes me think they could be useful is from Robert Bruce's article on aura seeing from this site:

quote:
Clothing:
It is impossible to get a clear view of an aura through clothing. The auric colours given off by any coloured clothing react with the wearer's aura. This causes interference that blocks and changes the natural flow of energies within an aura. For example: a blue shirt will flood the wearer's natural aura with yellow - changing it's appearance.
Even neutral coloured clothing will block and dim an aura - making it dull and difficult to see. If, for example, you observe the aura of a person wearing a red shirt: their aura will contain a great deal of green. This shows why bare skin is best, in order to get a clear view of an aura.

When a coloured material is worn, the band of colour seen close to the material is the reverse auric colour of that colour. The aura's real colours will be seen building up from the outer edge of that colour. The reverse auric colour of the material, and the true colours of the living aura, affect each other - changing their natural colours.

Timeless,

Well, I'd like to see them ASAP, because I'm interested in auras at the moment. However, it is likely that in six months time I'll be interested in something completely different, and hence will never get to see them.

I also asked because when you described the exercises in your previous post you didn't mention anything about levels of experience before doing the exercises. I wanted to know what your thoughts were on waiting before doing the 3rd eye stuff.

Particularly, because on the aura seeing article on this site, it doesn't mention anything about waiting for the secondary chakras to develop.

I would like to see auras, and I understand the best way to see them is to do some NEW / stimulation work on the 3rd eye chakra.

But Robert Bruce says it isn't wise to start activating the primary chakra centres until I've done the secondary ones for six months. But I can't be arsed to wait six months - I'm an impatient bugger!

I've done secondary activation for about a month now. What would happen if I started doing some work on my 3rd-eye straight away. Would I automatically start seeing auras after a bit of activation?

I too am well ticked off with afterimages. We've been watching Big Brother on telly recently, and my mate said he reckoned he could see the aura of the blue diary room chair against the white background, but it was blatantly just an after image.

Any more reports about how the Qlink is doing?

I've found that whenever I wear it at night, I can remember a load more dreams than usual, and the last two nights I became lucid without having to even try.

In terms of health, I've got an awful cold at the moment, so it obviously hasn't done much for my immune system!

kampersdream,

That's very interesting about the dairy-acne connection. I do drink a hell of a lot of milk - about two pints a day. It is skimmed milk, so not much fat. I did a search on Google for acne and dairy, and some interesting links came up. I'd always assumed milk was good for me. I think I'm going to stop drinking milk for a while.

Thanks,

I do eat a hell of a lot of baked beans. Also, I find it gets worse after a night out drinking. And also after any kind of sexual activity [;)]

Yet the doctor refuses to acknowledge these are the problem, because 99% of the world eats and does all that without getting zits.

Annoying, because I like all three of the above things. [:)]

bomohwkl,

Distilled water instead of tap water, or just lots of extra water (that just happens to be distilled)?

What about mineral water?

Inguma,

It says on the Clarus Qlink website that the Ally "Influences up to a 40-foot radius in all directions"

Surely that means that if you had one in your pocket, anyone who sat close to you for a while would start to feel better, or possibly, start to feel woozy (as you said you felt initially).

Did you have time to see if this was the case? Would people start to associate feeling fantastic / nauseous with being in your presence?!

Just in case people in this thread don't know, there's another thread about the Qlink near the top in the "Healing discussions" section of this forum.

kifyre,

Yeah - the pain I feel in my chest is very minor - similar to how you describe it. I only feel it when I stretch, and then I suddenly feel  a surge of pain. It's the same kind of feeling you get with a big bruise, and then you touch it (but my chest isn't bruised or anything).

I'm wearing it for 12 hours at a time now (building up to that over the week I've had it) and it's hardly noticeable now, but I'm a bit wary about wearing it constantly.

I can't remember where I heard that alien theory about the Qlink - I think it might have been a newsgroup. I suppose just because it could be an alien technology, doesn't necessarily make it bad (unless it is for building an army of compliant golfers [}:)])

Oh - and I couldn't get your link to work.

Inguma,

You say you have the Qlink Ally - that is the battery powered box.

Have you tried the Qlink pendant as well, or just the Ally? I never realised the Ally was small enough to put in your pocket.

If I find the pendant works, I might send it back anyway, so I can afford the Ally...! I mean, you would have thought something with batteries would be likely to be more effective. Anyway, just have to see... [:)]

Hi,

Ooh - I started a thread in the Astral Chat section about the Qlink a couple of days ago without having seen this thread. Anyway, the following is also posted in that thread, but it is my experience of the Qlink.

I've had mine about a week, but haven't been able to wear it constantly because I keep getting a pain in my chest if I wear it too long.

It says in the FAQs that you may feel 'discomfort' when using it to start off with, so I've been gradually building up the amount of time I use it.

This proves to me that it DOES do something, and isn't just a bit of tacky plastic and copper wire. I've yet to see any benefit though. Having said that, I did have a job interview and have been asked back for the next stage - I suspect it's just a coincidence though.

But why the pain in the chest? Is it distorting my heart chakra or something?

One theory I found on the internet while seeing what people's opinions were, is that it is a device for alien control - they are building up an army of humans who all operate on the same biofrequencies due to their Qlink, and hence can be controlled externally [:O]

It's got a 90 day money back, and if I don't notice anything substantial by, say, 70 days I'll send it back. It's worth a try though...!
